We did feel that breakfast could have started a little earlier for people like us who wanted to hit the slopes. Breakfast was from 8am to 10am. However, staff did provide us with a packaged brekkie (fruit, muesli bars, juices, pastries) which we were very grateful for

The room was very dark in the day time, but perfect for sleeping.

A great stay with a genuinely spacious room — massive, in fact, easily the standout feature. The walk into town was a little longer than staying at its sister hotel The Dairy, but still short and manageable. The atmosphere was warm and social, with guests chatting over breakfast and during the hosted drinks session between 5–6pm. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the value was excellent given the rate included continental breakfast plus free drinks and snacks in the common area. Staff were friendly, responsive, and easy to deal with throughout. The room was completely quiet with no noise at all.

Parking is paid and must be booked in advance. If you're driving and don't sort this out ahead of time, you could end up needing to driving the streets looking for a spot and walk back to the hotel.

The whole package was great - friendly staff, killer location, clever furnishings, and the breakfast was impressive! Bonus points for the sauna.

The location was great, the staff were amazing and very helpful. Rooms were a little dark, it was disappointing upon booking the accomodation that the breakfast included did not mention it was continental, although I would still recommend this stay for others. I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future!

Nice location close enough to walk downtown with no problems. Nice beds and pillows. Renovated motel rooms. Nice happy hour and snacks.

Lots of stairs with no elevator. Breakfast was only basic, a few pieces of meat and cheese on a plate, some toast, croissants and pastries burnt and not well cared for most mornings. We had to ask for more plates, more cutlery. I think reception staff look after this so they are probably stretched thin.

Perfect stay. Staff are really good people. Quiet and beautiful rooms, laundry, good breakfast, free wine and snacks 5-6pm, free juices soda and soft drinks during the day for guests. Great location, can’t fault it.

Very cool decor, the reception staff were super friendly, the snacks and drinks in our room and the lolly jars in the lounge were great for movie watching! Happy hour drinks and snacks an added bonus. The location was great too, just a short stroll down the gardens path to town. And contacting us to let us know we left a jersey in the room and then couriering it back to our home address was top notch customer service.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Great location. The happy hour with wine and cheese each evening was lovely. Nice European continental breakfast. Generous sized rooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great shower.

ハッピーアワーのフリードリンクやスナック、無料のランドリーがとてもよかった。朝食の時間には既に出発しなければならない旨伝えたところ、夜のうちに翌日の朝食を部屋まで届けてくれた。バスタブがあるのも日本人にとってはうれしいポイント、アメニティの質も良かった。部屋にもフリードリンク、スナックが置いてあった。市内中心部までは若干歩くが大変満足だった。

受付時間外にチェックアウトする方法がわからなかった。

Lovely boutique style hotel with quiet, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. Staff were so friendly and accomodating - providing breakfast provisions the night before when I had early tours booked. (A lovely breakfast is included in tariff). Location is central and bus stops close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location with easy 5min walk to the lakeside, friendly staff, comfortable beds, really large bath to relax in, complimentary happy hour every day with wine/beer and snacks, breakfast provided in the common area, easy check out and option to pay and park on premises.

Could be better lighting/option to dim or brighten lights in rooms. While I love ambient lighting, the option to increase the brightness would be helpful. But that’s being picky! Loved our stay here and would recommend to everyone.

The breakfast was incredible!! And the juices/soft drinks/ sweets available at any time was such a nice treat!

We had a great stay here! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The gardens are just down the street. Wish we had stayed longer!

L'idée du happy hour est excellente : on rencontre les autres voyageurs, on échange nos bons plans, et le lendemain, au petit déjeuner, on continue de papoter : cela créé une ambiance familiale très agréable. La mise à disposition de la laverie quand on voyage depuis plusieurs semaines est également très appréciable.

El baño, la bañera muy alta y sin barreras para gente mayor, la calefaccion no era optima, el hotel no estaba en la zona del centro, si no tenias coche, tenias que tomar uber o taxi cada vez que te mobilizabas al centro. El desayuno recien empezaba a las 8 am, y no era muy variado.

Great location close to Queenstown central cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and accommodating and kept our 2 of our bags safe for 4 days before check in. Happy hour was great providing a nice space to chill out and relax.

Two king singles joined together, with one base breaking did not provide the most optimal sleeping experience.

We had a nice room with lots of window that was very comfortable. We loved the breakfast and free happy hour wine and snacks. Everyone there was very nice. We found a path thru the trees to the waterfront that was very cool and a similar short path to downtown.

门锁还是机械钥匙太落后了，容易忘记锁门。洗脸盆实在太小水都要溅到外面。

My personal preference is for a firm mattress and so the Extra soft beds not to my liking.

Location perfect, uniquely designer rooms. The little extras, complementary snacks and drinks in the room. Happy hour with drinks and snacks included, all included a lovely way to meet other guests. Staff were wonderful too.

Bathrooms a bit odd and the toilet seat was annoying. Otherwise great

5 to 6 happy hour with wine, cheese, snacks offered for free is a wonderful idea and helped meet other travellers. I also liked to have access to washer/drier. The painted wall in the room is very original. The bed was very comfortable and the room is quiet. The center of town is easily accessible.

The rooms are a bit too dark, it would help if the walls were painted lighter while still keeping the painted wall.

Elegant lovely buffet, simple, easy on the gut, good variety, perfect size.

The location was terrific. Easy to access and a few minutes walk from the action on the lake front. We were greeted by highly engaged and friendly staff who were willing to assist us in any way.

We had a very vibrant and expansive room with quirky decor. Our outlook from two picture windows was wonderful. Secure parking available on site.

A quirky property with reasonable facilities.

We weren’t aware that the property had stairs and for us to get anywhere inside there was stairs.

Loved our stay. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the town centre and a bus stop. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, large bath, comfy bed & the private sauna was a bonus. Happy hour was such a treat. Couldn’t have improved our stay in any way, we had the best experience there.

In a great location, loved the interior decor and colour scheme, room was big, clean, staff were very friendly, lots is free snacks and a happy hour!

Bathroom could with a bit of an update but it was fully functional and wouldn’t stop us staying here again.
