Four Seasons Motel

I would like to personally mention the Manager Cornelius who was extremely helpful. When the internet was not working in our room, he moved us to another room. When we requested help with some documents he assisted us. There was nothing Cornelius was not prepared to help us with and always with a smile. Cornelius was the best part about staying at this motel. He even got us a room with a view.

Limited to no TV channels - 3 terrestrial working channels and nothing else. Very poor in this day and age. The room was not very clean and the daily cleaning was not good. We had to ask for new towels, for the bed to be made. The cleaners were requested to come back which they were not happy about and we were questioned on the number of towels we wanted.

Was a bit noisy

Very spacious clean and heating great Bathroom huge shower great. Very close to town.

Not alot just hard walking back up the hill from town . Would be ok for younger people we are pensioners lol.

Had a cot added on and approved and no cot in the room when we got there. Rooms were very worn. Holes in seats, carpet needs replacing, cupboard doors hanging. 1 bed broken and on a angle, kitchen sink tap was very loose, stains on sheets and very worn couch, wall had holes

The location was great.

The shower pressure could have been stronger but overall it was great and we would 100% come back here again. Very pleased.

Wi-Fi access instructions - we had trouble connecting because of our spam and Internet protection program, even when we turned it off.

Location was great - very central. The room we had had a bedroom and kitchen and large bathroom which was great for our family. Had good parking as well. Good value in a very expensive city.

The only issue we had was with the internet. The connection process was complicated and didn't work very well. If you need to rely on internet for work or something, you will need a back-up plan.

We were able to check in early and leave our bags in reception at the hotel next door after checking out (the reception at Four Seasons is a shut office with a sign saying to go next door). Good location and good view from back window on top floor. Good amenities in the kitchen. Beds comfortable with electric base sheets (although the one on the double bed was upside down so pillows got really hot while toes stayed cold and the one on the single bed didn’t have a power point within reach unless we moved the bed off the wall which then revealed a fair bit of rubbish under the bed).

Pretty inconsistent cleaning. They also left a large bag of old towels and bedsheets from multiple other rooms in our room one day. Pretty low water pressure in shower.

It is a lower cost option, but still expensive by NZ standards. Looking at the facility list you'll think that it will be adequate, but upon arrival you may feel misled dependent upon how important some of those facilities are to you.

The property turns off the heating during the early hours of the morning, apparently when they think guests will not notice because most will be asleep. If you are awake and not in bed during those hours, you may need to wear outdoor winter clothing to stay warm. There are primitive cooking facilities, but no ventilation. There is also a racist sign stating that, if you cook fish or spicy food, you will be charged the entire cost of the next guest’s stay. There was inadequate lighting over the main sleeping area, and I had to use a torch to see inside my suitcase when it was placed on the bed. The rest of the room is lit by worn-out compact fluorescent bulbs that are so old and dim that, realistically, you should bring your own light bulbs. The bulbs also flicker continuously. The internet is filtered, and some sites cannot be reached. For example, I could not access my work network through a VPN and had to use my phone’s hotspot instead. The rooms provide no privacy. Floor-to-ceiling glass opens directly onto a shared walkway, allowing other guests walking past to see everything happening inside the room. There are no management staff onsite. Staff are available at the neighbouring property, but only during office hours, when you are likely to be away enjoying Queenstown. In practice, this means there is rarely anyone available to help with problems.

It was dirty and not fully equipped. The unit was not serviced properly each day either. Very old and run down.

It was an excellent location exclusive toilet and kitchen is very nice. The room needs new lighting and renovation. The room is a bit small but all in all I love how cozy and warm the room is as we have an infant with us. Over all it feels like home.

There was a staff enters our room while we are away to collect the rubbish. He/she can do that and knock on the door while we are there. I think that’s not good

Le studio était bien équipé et bien chauffé; ce qui est très agréable durant l'hivers. La fenêtre du studio se trouvant à l'opposée de l'entrée a une superbe vue sur les montagnes.

La baie vitrée pour entrer dans le studio donne directement sur la rue. Si les rideaux ne sont pas fermés, de la rue on voit ce qu'il se passe dans le studio.

Right in the middle of town, warm and clean, onsite parking.

Shower is hot but only a trickle, don't know if it the water pressure in Queenstown but it is uncomfortable. Mattresses are too soft and the double bed is on the smaller side.

Great location, easy walking distance to Queenstown mall, gondolas and lakefront. The reception is at the property next door however the staff there are very helpful.

The room was a bit run down and it also had ants in both the bathroom and kitchen.

Die Unterkunft wirkte teilweise, als würde sie gar nicht mehr richtig betreut und gesteuert. Rezeption war geschlossen, man musste zur Rezeption ins benachbarte Hotel gehen. Während unseres dreitägigen Aufenthaltes hat uns das nicht gestört, da Reinigung und Zimmerservice sehr gut funktionierten. Es war nur etwas eigenartig, dass dieses Motel eher „nebenbei“ betreut wurde, und obwohl viele Zimmer nicht vermietet waren, hing draußen ein Schild „ keine freien Zimmer“

Location was fantastic. Manager was terrific - we had asked for views of the mountains and we got those, although we quickly realised they were also the noisiest rooms and the manager very kindly allowed us to change rooms.

The shower was awful, worst I've ever experienced. Although it's not the motels fault, the neighbours upstairs and beside were extremely loud until very late and kept us awake. Parking was awful, lots of parks jammed into a tiny little space. It was raining the whole time and the drips down onto the covered balcony were awful, couldn't avoid them when going down the stairs so got soaking wet

Great location. Fine rooms. OK price given it's Queenstown.

The place was quite aged and didn't feel very well looked after. For the price, I thought they could have looked after their rooms a bit better and had a much better receiption.

Was very noisy, don’t stay if you’re a light sleeper, on a very busy road. The decor is extremely “tired”. Hasn’t been updated in decades. The chest of drawers was taped up with packing tape, carpet was tatty. Small double bed that only had one bedside table as there was barely room on the other side to squeeze in. No PowerPoint on that side either so rendered the electric blanket useless on that side. Cheap pillows but fresh linen. Both lights in kitchenette not working. Bathroom was clean but water pressure was a joke in the shower, barely dribbled out.

Kitchen cupboard door was falling off, and sink tap loose. 2 old warned out chairs. Carpet old and torn, skirtings dirty, cobwebs hanging from roof.

Room was dirty, cobwebs hung from ceiliing, frayed carpeting, chairs were torn and shredded. Upon arrival my wife was in distressed and we had to find other accommodations. We did not stay there at all. We had to lose our fee completely because of there cancelation policy of seven days prior to arrival. We lost 900+ NZ$ for these dodgy accommodations.

Room was clean with a great view and short walk to town.

There was a very steep hill from the town to the appartemen. You would want to be fit to walk it...also Could have done with a microwave. Otherwise very happy.

Water pressure poor but bathroom good. Room was small with an awkward layout. Steep walk back to motel from town not ideal for older people. Unit was generally a bit tired.

Parking was available on the lot, bathroom and beds were OK. Some cooking facilities available. Walk to the town centre is short.

the pool was not open and there was nothing on the website or booking information about this. we also wanted to leave our luggage with reception for the morning after we checked out while we looked around before our flight and reception was closed - sign on the door saying be back at 12:30pm. This was at 10am

The room was very tired. Vinyl lounge chair - the seat and back section has peeled off. The carpet where it attaches to the lino in the kitchen area was taped together There was a hole in the lower wall as you enter through the ranch slider. Housekeeping needs to be better, dusting, carpet cleaning on the edges etc

The beds were hard, the fixtures were very tired, a wall had a hole in it, in my room a cupboard door was missing, carpet thread bear, a room didn't have a lounge chair or out door furniture

Walking distance to town centre. Laundry facilites. Cooking facilities.

Small double bed crammed into a small odd shaped room (unit 4 at corner where building changes direction). 2 single beds in small living area which eat up space for a couple. Bathroom fittings falling apart (toilet roll holder, towel rails) no exhaust fan but could open windows. No floor drain and shower sprayed water on to floor if door not closed when turned on.Kitchen sink tap loose. Reception and check in is in neighbouring motel.

Compleet appartement met opgeknapte badkamer.

Het appartementement was deels opgeknapt, badkamer ruim en mooi. Ze hadden alleen het verouderde meubilair er terug ingezet. Een lelijk oud en klein kastje in die mooie nieuwe badkamer. Tevens oud en versleten meubilair in de kamer. Er stond een stoel waar ooit leer op had gezeten en dat was helemaal weg.
