The Black Horse Inn

The room was large, comfortable , and very clean. Everything you'd expect was provided. The rooms are separate from the pub so there is no noise from the pub. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pre ordered the night before so you can chose what you want and when you want it. The breakfast was excellent. Freshly cooked and very generous.

Nothing, you couldn't expect more from a village pub.

I stay here every time I travel to nearby Blyton Park for work. Staff are always lovely, fun & accommodating. Rooms are soo nice and comfortable. Hot showers (that don’t require an engineering degree like some to adjust the temp). There’s a shop literally 5 mins walk if you want a snack for your room.

Shower cubicles could be a tad bigger but they’re perfectly usable anyway.

Clean room, comfy bed all facilities we needed.

I did slip and fall on the wet tiled floor, Maybe a larger bathmat or more towels.

Service/ food/staff and room were excellent. We'd certainly stay again.

What a lovely pub with a friendly vibe, big, comfortable rooms and a great price. The staff were really welcoming and made us feel like locals from the moment we walked through the door. The location is peaceful and we all slept brilliantly. Highly recommend

I liked it all. The pub was friendly with helpful staff, and both the evening mail and breakfast the following morning were excellent. The accommodation, too, was extremely comfortable and well furnished with everything I needed.

Stayed here due to its location. Great food staff are fantastic, friendly helpful attentive. Rooms need updating. Couple of niggles broken toilet seat & bathroom light not working. Other than that it's location is perfect for Race track.

Rooms are spacious, modern and in an annexe to a delightful village pub. The food, beer and service were superb. Busy on a Saturday night in small rural village speaks volumes. Prices very reasonable and pub and accommodation spotlessly clean. Good parking. Close to Blyton Park and to Lincolnshire County Showground where we attended an event

Room was clean but slightly 'tired', nothing major but loose toilet seat and noisy extract fan were slightly annoying

Great location for what we needed with plenty of parking. We loved the little blocks of apartments! Well sized and no road noise for sleeping. Pub was lovely, from the pints and meeting other travellers to the yummy full English in the morning! Staff were polite and helpful.

Bed was very springy which I struggled with.

The accommodation was exactly as described, it was spotless and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the morning kitchen staff. I had booked the time for my breakfast, but I had overslept. Instead of just ignoring this, the staff took the time and very graciously came and woke me up so I didn't miss breakfast. This was very much appreciated.

Enjoyed the room, Location was good for accessing Blyton park race circuit. Room was nice and clean and was pleasantly surprised by the shower's water pressure. Staff and food were really nice.

WIFI was intermittent at on arrival but did function shortly thereafter and caused no disruption. Room was close to the road which does increase background nose but not noticeably enough to disrupt sleep.

We did not have breakfast because you had a maintenance crew in. We did not mind at all. We enjoyed a very nice meal in the pub in the evening. Great food selection and very tasty.

There could have been a chair in the room. Only place to sit was on the bed. The room was big enough for a chair.

Location good for a base to see family and sites. All rooms are spacious and great value for money. Quiet accomodation next to a local pub which serves quality food at a good price. Hairdryer and iron provided too. If u do not want to go out on an evening, sit outside the accomidationband listen and spot nature.

Would prefer the choice of a continental breakfast or porridge or fruit and yoghurt.

Having the extra cost for breakfast,that also on weekends is later tone served as most people would infact be more available on weekends to stay than weekdays

The main pub building was well appointed and appeared to be recently decorated, tidy and clean and quite attractive.The bedroom in the adjacent annex was similar, very comfortable stay. Nice outside seating areas. Breakfast was very good also, hot and well cooked, good choice.

Little cottage in car park rather than a room was brilliant. Good food in restaurant and bar nice for a drink. Plenty parking. Handy if visiting Blyton race track.

The pub was exactly where I needed it to be, the room was great with a good big bed and the good was exceptional.

It's not my local, I could do with it being closer so I could visit more often.

These custom built chalets are adjacent to the Pub just 40 feet away. The chalets are modern with nice clean bathroom, exceptionally comfortable bed and nice sitting area with a couch and work desk. Excellent WiFi connectivity, and a lovely mowed garden with seating and picnic tables outside the front door. The staff in the pub are super friendly and the chef prepares an amazing variety of traditional dishes and desserts. Great atmosphere inside the pub, friendly, warm and chatty. I will be returning!

Maybe add a small mini fridge in the room?

Room spacious, clean, well equipped. Evening meal excellent, fabulous choice, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast booked for 9am, ready on time, excellent service, food superb. We were visiting family and will definitely make that our overnight stop in future for all our visits. Could not fault anything.

Stayed here after a day out at Blyton Park. The food was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The team were incredibly friendly and made my first solo trip away from home one to remember!

Busy road outside, but barely audible inside, particularly as the rooms are away from the road.

Great location to visit lots of places of interest. The Black Horse pub is very welcome and the food excellent and great value for money. The accomodation is larger inside than it looks and any concerns were addressed.

No breakfast included but there is a good offer for those who like a full English with all the trimmings. It proves more expensive for those who prefer or need for medical reasons a smaller, continental breakfast e.g yoghurt, fruit, porridge.

For a ‘pub’ bed and breakfast, the rooms were very pleasant! More space in the accommodation than expected 😊 the room was nicely decorated and it would be a nice place for a while weekend or longer.

Overall cleanliness was good, however some areas could have been better, like the bathroom. Although the check in process was smooth, the booking stated breakfast was included. Unfortunately, even after showing the booking confirmation on my phone we were told it was not included and were expected to pay additionally.

great room, nice bed and pillow, had AC, clean and tidy, very good for price, great if your doing a track day at blyton park, could park right next to my room door.

emergency exit green light was way too bright, no where near pitch black with lights off, had to cover it up with some black tape, same for wi fi light to get to sleep.

Fantastic location for Blyton Race Track

The food was very nice, however, I only just made it there on time to get an evening meal. Maybe the kitchen closed early as it was a Monday.

Going by the evening meal I'm sure the breakfast would have been great, but breakfast didn't start until 08:30am. That's far too late for me.

Excellent location if you are visiting Blyton Park race track like we did. Very clean, comfortable bed, parking spaces always available, and the staff is very polite and always happy to help with everything.

No toliet rolls has to ask staff. Morning after our stay, we went to the pub for breakfast and was told we should have pre booked the night before. But when checked in we wasn’t asked. Asked if we can get a and a coffee told by the cleaner she would have to ask chef as she was cleaner Chef said ok but wasn’t putting on machine as takes to long so for an instant coffee and two teas was about £12 something. We sat down and chef asked cleaner to make. She did bring over coffee first I asked if we could have maybe just toast as another couple was having a full breakfast she said I’ll ask but you should have pre ordered stated we wasn’t aware. Came back and said no and don’t ask for anymore as she needed to get on a clean. We had our coffee but no tea just the cups. I went after 5 mins when she was hoovering and asked for the tea she was quite sharp and said was in the pot I said we don’t have it and then she argued we did. When she came to table she said oh I left on kitchen . Went and got and apologised. We love the rooms and stayed at hotel 4 times and never had staff like this before felt a real inconvenience. The staff when we checked in were super friendly. And always have been so was a bit taken back.
