A good hotel; the staff member, Tu, was extremely friendly and helpful

We stayed here for three night. We had a Mountain View room. Nice room with a sea view. Spacious and modern. Sweets and fruit in the room when we arrived. The beach setting was very nice. However, after our previous hotels this had an overwhelming feeling of being crammed in. There are plenty of pools and sun beds. Unfortunately I can't recommend the food, breakfast was ok but nothing special. We had the buffet one night, it was pretty poor value for money after the other hotels we have stayed at on this trip. Plenty of better food outside the hotel!

Loved our fitness sessions with Aliz (Alice)..daily aqua size in the pool was such fun and a great workout, we decided to try herThai Chi classes. Brilliant! Some held in the gym and the morning class took place on the beautiful beach. Loved being in the fresh air, with the sound of the sea behind us ..what a great way to start the day. Highly recommend. Alice gives clear and simple instructions and is a great motivator.

We are here at gorgeous Sentido Khao Lak for 3 weeks and we LOVE the daily Aquafit sessions with ALIZ (Alice). She makes it such fun and the sessions end in a 'perfect' way, setting us up for the rest of the day... We also do Tai Chi classes with ALIZ and this morning we had our 8am class on the beautiful beach; total wellbeing.... Thank you ALIZ, this is our third holiday at this hotel and we were so pleased that ALIZ is still here....

Nice mix of American, Dutch. German guests. Staff bent over backwards to serve. Had to check out at noon. Departure wasn’t until 7 pm—resort set us up with towels, showers, hair dyers, and luggage storage. Stayed at beach for a little longer and could use cash at restaurant. 8 am daily yoga with the capable Alice from the Philippines made this Filipina very happy. Maraming salamat po.

The experience with Sentido exceeded our expectations by far. There is nothing to complain about at all. Nice and accommodating staff in every way. From the guy with the towels to the cleaners, the restaurant staff and the receptionists. I would like to mention Jake a little extra who on every occasion gave that little extra. Location of Sentido is perfect, 10 mins walk away to center plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Sentido resort quiet but with big personality. All the staff are so helpful and lovely and cannot do enough for you. Shout out to Kwan was in mountain bat first week makes the best Miami Vice cocktails and in restaurant for breakfast service...very lovely and recognised us with a smile and very helpful. The hotel was very clean where housekeeping work really hard to keep everything spotless. Beds comfy room in mountain wing perfect. Food and variety of food at breakfast was very good. It was my 50th birthday so we enjoyed the sunset beach private dining experience which was spectacler, we had our own server who was fantastic and also doubled up as photographer. Food was top-notch, so much food we couldn't get through it all and we took our Deserts back to room. Beautiful beaches and pools..it really was the staff and hotel that made this holiday perfect. We have just booked next year whilst I'm sat on the beach. Thank you

Staying at the hotel was fantastic. All the service was exceptionally good. The treatment from you made us feel very welcome. If we had any requests, you fulfilled them as much as possible. The food was good and what a fantastic service I received for every breakfast with gluten-free. The room was always clean and nice. The staff at the reception were professional. You were all patient, you talked to us, joked and were always happy. You paid attention to us guests with warmth and heart. You made sure we had a good time and felt good. A big thank you for the care you showed us and all the entertainment. I didn't have time to collect all the names, but here are the names of several of the staff who were absolutely wonderful. Disappointed. Sentido Khao Lak After a 12 hours flight, and 1.5 hrs to get through immigration we arrived at our hotel at 11:30 am. Only to be told that we cannot check into our room until after 3 o’clock.. this was a 3 1/2 hour wait. We were told we could change in the toilets and then wait and lie by the pool until our room was ready. Our room was lovely and in all honesty the best part about this hotel was that our bed was so comfy. Breakfast was in one small restaurant area where everybody eats and is chaos during the mornings from 8 o’clock onwards. Having travelled around the world, this is probably the worst hotel for food choice for the English. Sunbeds are not allowed on the beach, they are tucked away under the trees so if you want to lie in the sun you have no chance. You have to lie on your towel on the beach. There was plenty of sunlands by the pools, however we found the pool water really cold. This hotel caters I would say and the majority of the people staying here are German, we are English and Felt like minority and totally overruled by the rude, obnoxious loud Germans everywhere. The beach bar restaurant does not offer anything like pizza or snacks when you’re feeling a little bit , It only offers main meals, due to this we ate out every afternoon or late evening as the hotel did not cater for us.. however room service offered a better menu choice, but why would you want to be stuck in your bedroom eating ? In all, would we come back? It’s a big NO. By day four, We only came to the hotel to sleep we spent as much time away from the hotel as possible Only positive was staff really friendly.

Sentido is an excellent choice of hotel, it has a good location with a cozy beach and nice rooms. The breakfast has a wide variety from hot dishes to all kinds of fruits. The hotel has a very friendly staff and is really service oriented, I would especially like to point out Tu who is a security guard, but also the young guy who hands out beach towels.

Great hotel with a lovely beachfront setting. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Room was a decent size and cleaned daily by the cheerful ladies. Most staff were good and a special thank you to Tu on the security gate who always took the time to wish us a happy day.

Our hotel experience wasn’t perfect, but every time we made the staff on reception aware of a problem, it was addressed without issue. Particularly worthy of mention is May, nothing was too much trouble, she was unfailingly helpful and pleasant, always a greeting and interested in whatever we were doing.

If you looking for a relaxed holiday this is the place the surroundings are just amazing full of trees ,plants and flowers just by the sea with plenty of pools to choose from too , all the staff are very friendly and very hardworking making sure everything is clean and nothing is to much. On arrival we were greeted by smiling ( Sunny ) who was very friendly and attentive, at the check out ( May ) made sure that all our needs were fulfilled we were very thankful for that , we want to say a big thank you to the lady that cleaned our room ( Pattrawadee ) The food and drinks very good too always plenty of choices. One downside, as we have travel long distances before and this never happened, was the fact that after travelling for 21h we had to wait 3.5h for the room to be ready, we understand times for check out but considering that our check out was at 6.30am we were expecting that we could also check in on arrival, nevertheless our time here was amazing and we most definitely will be back. Absolutely fabulous hotel in a good location just on the edge of the main strip in Khao Lak. It's on the beach the rooms were great but might need to request a lower floor if you struggle with steps, we stayed right up in the trees was an amazing experience. All the staff can't do enough for you and look after your every need. Gluten free options on request which was an added bonus. Lovely clean hotel definitely reccomend this hotel if your in khao lak. Sentido koh lak is a wonderful hotel the place is kept immaculate and the staff were the friendliest and most helpful and happy people we have ever met. Can't wait to go back next year

Exceeded our expectations. When we arrived my elderly mum was unwell, and all the staff went above and beyond to assist and care for her. The resort is stunning, beautiful gardens, 4 pools and the spa is one of the best I’ve used. But above all, it’s the staff that really make this resort amazing. Will definitely be back.

Great hotel. Fantastic location for dining out, all staff excellent friendly and efficient. High standard of cleanliness with nothing too much bother. Top quality rooms with everything you need. Great gym set up with top aqua aerobic classes by Alice. Even in torrential rain. (If anyone knows her signature tune...please post it). Overall a top 2 weeks in Khao Lak.

What a beautiful place with wonderful people who work so hard. Very easy and friendly check in and very easy check out. This is my second time here and normally I never return to same place but this is an exception and I will come back again for more from this wonderful place Sak was exceptional and so was may and Nan. Brilliant staff

We arrived in low season September and were worried that everything would be closed….we had nothing to worry about. Yes, it is very quiet but it does not detract from the quality of service. The staff here are out of this world, so very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, definitely go to the restaurants. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfasts had everything you could wish for. I went for a massage and the 50% voucher made the price incredibly reasonable. We have two days left here and I will definitely be coming back. What a joy!

What can I say? We stayed in September, which some people would call the low season. Yes, my partner and I came as guests during the low season to get the most out of our experience. Thailand has always been a dream, my dream. After a difficult start, I arrived at this beautiful hotel, which I highly recommend. Great location, beautiful rooms. But what touched my heart most of all, as always, were the people. Come to this hotel and you will find exceptional staff like Nid and Wave. They are all good, kind, smiling... yes, you understood correctly, here in Thailand people smile. Because a smile is worth a lot. It can change your day, your mood, your outlook. Traveling is a state of mind, the people you meet can give you emotions that you no longer find in your routine. Thank you so much, Sentido, I hope to return soon.

We visited this hotel in Oct 2024, this at the time was an adult only hotel,which was changing for families in Nov 24. So, can only review as adults only at the time. The staff are amazing, extremely friendly and will ensure that your visit is exceptional. The complex is small, which makes this more personal. As beachfront, therefore, no access issues. The food is amazing, this is cooked to order in the main restaurant and not buffet style, which is amazing as can have your food less or more spicy depending on your tastes. Its a very laid back complex and only walking distance from the town, the taxis are very easy to access to manoeuvre about the place. The local market is a must, the reception area has the details available for opening times. We found Thailand so relaxing and amazing holiday vacation, we decided to return to another part of Thailand this year. The spa is definitely worth visiting as the therapies are amazing, they maybe a little more expensive than the town prices, however, they have amazing packages that are cost effective, additionally the spa is very relaxing. We were extremely happy we selected Sentido as a very special place as staff make you feel very welcome and ensure that your holiday is exceptional

She was genuinely attentive, welcoming, and always ready to recommend the perfect drinks with a warm smile. Her friendliness and professionalism created such a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, making my time at the bar truly memorable. Thank you, Pin, for making my stay even more special! 🌴🍹✨

I am writing this section specifically for those wanting to know about handicapped accessibility. I can only walk very slowly with sticks for about 200m. We were provided with a room on the ground floor close to pools, beach and restaurant. In the first week I was able to access all facilities with care, and the attention given to my needs by staff at all times was exemplary. The main pool has excellent access with low steps and hand rails so I was able to enjoy swimming and aqua class. In the second week I had access to a wheelchair, and the staff provided ramps to help push over the doorsteps into the room. You should be aware that it is not possible to push a chair into the shower or toilet, but this was fine with sticks. A special mention for Alice the aqua class instructor who cheerfully encouraged me to participate every day and tailored exercises to my ability. Also the regular massages I enjoyed with Phian and staff who helped me into the rooms and on to tables. No trouble was too much for all the smiling helpful staff, Gab and Mangkorn deserving a special mention. I look forward to returning and hope this review helps others with similar disabilities.

Sentido Hotel was recommended to us by my sister and brother in law.We spend July and August in Malaysia each year to escape winter in Australia.We try and do a segue to Thailand , Vietnam or Cambodia whilst we are there.We have stayed at several venues in Khaolak and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sentido.We had a Villa by the beach, which was immaculately prepared for us on arrival. The staff were excellent and attended to our needs and were extremely friendly ,supportive and helpful.The amenities are well maintained and the grounds are kept to a high standard.Breakfasts catered for a vast variety of cultural choices along with the choices for lunch and dinner. Some local restaurants were in close proximity and accessible by walking or taxi.The spa facilities and staff were very professional and accommodating. We will certainly return in 2026.

This was my second stay within ten months It's like a little bit of paradise in the small village of Khao Lak. I stayed for ten nights in a ground floor room. Rooms are well appointed. Fresh bottled water everyday. As renovations were going on breakfast and dinner was served in the casual restaurant on the beach.. The pool with the swim up bar was also been renovated There are four other pools to choose from. The staff really make this hotel..from reception to grounds people.. they are all so friendly and helpful. Presentation of food is as good as any Michelin Starred restaurant.. Even though they are now allowing children..there was only one staying. I highly recommend The Sentido for a relaxing holiday. There are also three very good restaurants across the road from the entrance. Looking forward to my next visit. Room 3515

Nice large hotel in a good location. Reception is clean, tidy and new with nice staff. Rooms large, well equipped and generally good but lacking finer details and real quality. Outside areas are well kept, pools nice and lots of room with a private beach that perfect. Dining is a strong point, A La Carte restaurant is nice and serves the best food but the main restaurant needs attention. Some meals are served not as advertised, lacking ingredients and not well cooked. Breakfast was ok, but again lacking quality. At this price point the hotel is good but has the potential to be so much more. Pool rooms are the best, avoid ocean view bungalows.

Beautiful facilities, fabulous staff Food was delicious The walk into town was longer than expected but still fine. Some great bars and eateries within 10-12 minute walk. Taxi service also available from the hotel Khao Lak is a quiet area, if you’re there to relax, this place is perfect for you

The staff had really made me and my family felt superbly comfortable here at the resort. Starting with Pleng from reception who handled our check in. She was courteous, friendly, detailed and made the whole family felt welcome from the beginning. And then of course there’s Whan her “twin sister” as my parents called them. Another happy smily face that always greeted us whenever we walked pass. To the extent that we even extended our stay. Not forgetting Nan the concierge that gave us good advice and where to and last but not least Roth at the pool bar. The cocktails were very good. All the other staffs from the guy that took care of the gym (forgot his name), the housekeeping staff, the bell staff and also the security guys, all of them were very friendly and welcoming. Kudos to the team.

I will write a 2nd review but I wanted to highlight Alice and Sunny. They provide a great yoga/pilates and stretching classes option while staying at this beautiful resort. Pu and his team, Nid, Kung, Mangr and all the lovely other staff do a great job looking after everyone at the Beach Bar

We have just returned from a 26 day stay in Sentido. I will begin with the positive aspects. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds and gardens are immaculate. The gardeners do a really wonderful job and the beach is cleaned every morning and all leaves etc. removed from the sand.The staff also make sure that people do not get up in the middle of the night to reserve the sunbeds at the beach. Any towels, sunhats, bags etc. put on sunbeds before 10am will be removed. The hotel has placed a table next to the sunbeds on the beach so that people can put their bags and towels on it before going for breakfast. After breakfast people can go to the beach and find sunbeds there. It's a perfect system and works extremly well. We also have a big complement to the staff who all very friendly and attentive. The made our stay really pleasant. We had a pool access room at the small pool which was perfect for my husband who has mobility problems and it was close to the restaurant etc. The rooms have a large covered terrace which was pleasnt to sit out, even when it rained. Now to the less positive aspects of this hotel. It was our fourth visit and was adults only during our last visits. Since last November last year, families are allowed to come. As the hotel has no facilities whatsoever for children and still being described on the website as an exclusive retreat fot travellers who like a relaxed enviroment we didn't really think the hotel would attract people with children. Khao Lak has many other family hotels with children's pools, waterslides, playgrounds etc. The first week of our stay all went well,it was very peaceful. Maybe just one or two children at the most who were very quiet. In April however, when the Easter holidays started lots of children arrived. Suddenly the wonderful peaceful atmosphere was gone and in the afternoon the small pool in front of our room turned into a children's pool with very noisy children jumping in and out of the water and playing ball. I complained several times because it was no longer possible to sit out and enjoy a coffee on our own terrace. We ended up going up to the Mountain Bar which is lovely and quiet ( no children allowed there) and has a beautiful view. We spoke to many other people during our stay who were all the same opinion as we were. This new policy is not good and some changes need to take place as the hotel will loose many of its regular guests who have been coming for years. The pools where the pool access rooms must be reserved for adults. It's not fair for adults who pay extra for these rooms and have to put up with noisy children. The main problem is bad parenting, parents who just let their kids run wild and have no respect for others. Another thing that I noticed for the first time this year, was that a family with two children were packing a lot of food into plastic boxes at breakfast time to take out with them. These are not the kind of guests who should be coming to the hotel. Just imagine if everyone did this!! We enjoyed our holiday in spite of this and managed to avoid certain guests as much as possible. We hope some modifications will take place as we hope to be back next year.

Santido located in a very unique location of Khao Lak. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food and beverage options are satisfactory however hotel bars closing hours could be extended a bit later then 11 pm. Hotel staff were very pleasent and helpful. The only negative point is all 5 of the hotel pools depth is around 120 cms. At least 1 or 2 of those pools could be deeper for swimmers and offering the option to the hotel guest. Overall we can recommend Sentido to all future holiday makers.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel! We have been to Thailand many times and this was without a doubt our best time ever because of the hotel and the staff. Everybody is so friendly and nice. I want to say a special thank you to Alice from the yoga class, she gives yoga everyday and the classes are really good. Thank you Alice. Also a special thanks for Tu from the parking, he helped us everyday with the scooter and is super nice and friendly. Overall, thank you and we will come back.

Had the most amazing stay here really lovely garden view room always cleaned perfectly Breakfast and meals georgous didn't want to leave. Loved it so much we have changed our already booked holiday to Goa to come back here can't wait Thank you to all the amazing staff and reception who took delivery of my online shopping See you next February

The Sentido Khao Lak What a fantastic hotel, the helpfulness of the staff and the ability to help you with "problems that may arise". Excellent hotel with fantastic amenities, great ambiance, amazing food & beautiful beach. Rooms clean and large, massive bed with cool white sheets. I will be back for the New Year's celebration, if I could I would give the staff an extra star =)

I had high expectations for this hotel and I was not disappointed. From arrival to departure the staff couldn't be more helpful. The rooms were kept spotless and the hotel itself is in the most perfect spot , with access to a beautiful beach and also near the main bars and restaurants, but not busy to busy. The hotel had a very chilled atmosphere and I can't wait to go back

Stayed for two weeks from 20th January - 4th February 2025. The Sentido Khao Lak Resort was a lovely hotel in a great location. The room was excellent, as well as the rest of the hotels facilities. The hotel restaurants were both excellent, as were all the restaurants we dined in for our evening meals in Khao Lak. We particularly enjoyed the Golden Elephant Restaurant & Phu Khao Lak Thai Restaurant. Special thanks to the spa team at the Sentido, where my wife & I had two great Thai massages. Thanks to all the staff at the Sentido Resort Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable.

We visited you in late March, early April. We had a fantastic trip. The hotel was very cleanly maintained. The (luxury) room was spacious with double bed, frigo, kettle, TV, sofa, bath, shower and separate toilet. There were clean beach towels every day between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The food was super tasty and the umami flavors were delicious. The staff was super friendly from the front desk to the maintenance staff to the waiters. Credits to chef PLE and chef BOY in the beach restaurant for the sublime dishes that were prepared with love and taste.... True stars!!!!! Also the hardworking service in the restaurant and at the bars were amazing , especially MARIE, JANE, NEW you have won a place in our hearts❤️ Thank you everyone for giving us a fantastic vacation.

After spending 5 lovely days at this resort it was all spoilt at checkout. We were accused of pinching a bath robe ! On explaining that there was only ever one there and I had my own , I then was asked to open my suitcase to prove the point . No apology. Safe to say will not be coming back !

Amazing food and a chill out location with a lovely beach. A huge shout out to Nid who was an amazing host at lunch and dinner and a credit to the hotel. Love the beach and not so busy as the hotel is mid sized which suits us very much. Book and enjoy the stay!

Sentido was wonderful in every way. An excellent reception for our anniversary was followed by incredible service and breathtaking views throughout our stay.

We come down every morning to find many beds reserved and dont see people for hours!! The sunbeds by the waterfront already have a note on them not to reserve but nothing by the pools. We wish there was the same policy by the pool chairs. We have left a comment about it today a the hotel.

Beach is amazing and beautiful with nearby Restaurants and Shopping

We arrived at 8am. We couldn't get in our room though until the afternoon. We were told we could go for breakfast if we wanted but weren't told we'd have to pay even though we were all inclusive. Also we weren't told you have to sign for everything even when the bills zero as your sll inclusive. This caused issues utility we realised. The hotel is lovely. The pools are amazing and shallow. The beach is gorgeous but under Thai law the sunbeds can't be on the beach so are set back under trees with hardly any sun. Your also packed in next to everyone and can't move the beds. For sun you need to be by the pools. They don't get much of a breeze do can be very hot. The room was spacious and well appointed and the housekeepers did a great job every day. The staff as a whole were friendly but some were not. Especially the man at the pool bar who never smiled and was quite rude. We did get to know 2 young waitresses Jane and Marie who were always so kind and smile all the time. They made our holiday and stood out from all the other staff. As all inclusive guests we sometimes felt like second class citizens. Bar times for AI guests were way after pay as you go guests and last orders before. The drink choices were also restricted. They didn't even let you buy alcoholic drinks before the AI times. There are only 2 small bars in the evening. One in reception and one by the beach. But both small with limited space. The reception bar is air conditioned though. The last orders are at 10:30 and close at 11 but they pack up around you straight after 10:30 and make you feel very unwelcome. Most guests seem to go out for a longer nightlife. It almost seems like the hotel want you to go elsewhere so you can use there drink on your AI package. The entertainment was not very good. Apart from the fire dancing show which was brilliant Cleanliness around the resort was quite good apart from the main pool area. Ther regularly swept leaves etc around the edge of the pool but never moved sunbeds and cleaned under them so there were loads of bits which got all over you feet and towels. The beds were never cleaned each day so any spilt drink or food attracted thousands of ants so some beds were not fit for use some days. The gym was well equipped and we used it every day. But staff need to come in first thing and set the air con as someday it was too hot to train in. It's a lovely hotel. And I can see the appeal when it was adults only but now they allow children it wasn't very peaceful a lot of the time. This only changed Oct 24. It's a lovely hotel but just not what we expected from a 4 star hotel. It needs a lot of customer service change and some serious review of bar times etc. And treatment of AI customers. We met a couple who went AI last year and came back this year on a B&B basis. Costs outside the hotel are about four times cheaper than in the hotel so they went out to eat and drink. A lot cheaper.

Such an amazing hotel with fantastic surrounds and nice staf! An incredibly motivated team with Jane and Marie who stood out! Wonderfull beach with such a nice view @the beachbar! Nice food, a lot to choose for breakfast, nice clean rooms…it made our stay unforgettable!

Sentido is a good property,a bit bigger for our preference but there are not too many good and small hotels available in the area.We spent one week during mid february 2025 and it would be more pleasant if it hadn't been for our fellow guests that behaved without caring others.Most of them come from Northern Europe at a point that there are some "starndkorbs" (a kind of sunbed used in the Baltic sea) exhibited,and some information brochures at the room are only in German,may be to let them fell like been at home.We couldn't use our balcony during the whole stay due to the fact that all our neighbors continuously smoked in a vicious way ; also one day the management had to send a general notice regarding the prohibition to take and then leave the sunbeds unattended at the beach during early mornings. .Our room located at the mountain side was ample and well appointed,the breakfast was not amazing but still good and for lunch and dinner there are much better options outside at walking distance. The very few wine options at a restaurant precisely named Enoteca is a joke.Good gym,The hotel location is convenient between the town and next to the national park. Finally,although this is not the hotel fault, they must be more careful on choosing the third party transfers to the airport since ours did not have air conditioner which is very important to us.All in all we think that will be back.

Lovely peacefull hotel and area, beautiful beaches. Hotel staff were very polite, nothing was too.much trouble, room cleaned every day plus fresh towels for room and beach. Would highly recommend it.

The kitchen and the girls who serve. Was really good a top 10 for them. We got to know someone for the 1st day a dinner at a bar she was very sweet and she taught us Thai words. Lots of laughs and a very sweet girl her name is nid. And she works excellent super good very friendly. ❤️🥰and the whole restaurant very sweet and friendly people thank you for everything a top team greetings Gwen and Georgers 👏 😘and anne in the reception gave me a blowm so beautiful and so sweet of her thank you anne ♥️😘

The hotel is situated on the edge of the main road that serves the main restaurant and shopping areas. Taxis are available nearby if you want to go further afield, restaurants and shops are in walking distance from hotel. The immediate Hotel beach is a small area that has a limited number of bed loungers tightly positioned together. Not the most comfortable set up! Hotel policy states that guests should not reserve these beds but unfortunately the policy is not enforced leading to guests unfairly claiming beds then wondering off to breakfast. There are other beds behind the beachfront but these were also claimed most days by selfish people! The staff at hotel are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is well maintained and kept clean. There are a number of swimming pools with beds which were mostly quiet areas. The breakfast options were very good with a large selection of breads, european and Thai foods. Good games room for the kids with Pool and table tennis and darts. There is also a guest book library. Cannot comment on restaurants as we prefer to eat out so never used them on site. The hotel is well run with friendly helpful staff. Our room overlooking the beach and seafront was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. However with the small hotel beach area and the lack of enforcing the do not reserve beds rule we wouldnt return to the hotel in future. I would give the hotel 8 out of 10....

Khao Lak is stunning, very relaxing coastal town. This resort is nice but nothing to write home about. The rooms and facilities are aging and the food is pretty average at the on-site restaurants. The staff are wonderful though, and it’s a nice slow paced relaxing resort.

It was a lovely resort. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They all went out of way to make stay enjoyable. Lovely beach for sunset views. Pools were warm and spacious. Food expensive compared to local prices as were the drinks. Cocktails were not great and were pricey. Wi-Fi dropped out regularly. It was easy to walk to a wide range of places to eat so would recommend bed and breakfast at the resort.

The resort is just the right mix. Lovely accomodation, positioned in a beautiful setting, and very friendly staff that go above to help you. Also, no children is a bonus to ensure rest and relaxation.

The property and staff are fantastic. This is an adult only property and when we went there, it seemed like the majority of the guests were 65 and over. Mostly people from Europe when we stayed there. This is a property if you want peace and relaxation without a lot of noise. If you would like a younger crowd, this property might not be your choice.

beautiful location, also close to town within walking distance, very good aqua fitness classes, great beaches near by,calm water, restaurnts just ok at dinner time alot of people go out to other restaurants, many many stairs beware!!! asked to change room bad kneew but no response, front desk staff tried but if they didn't know the answer would walk away and serve someone else, beware pool turns hair and clothing green. have been aware of this for two weeks but done nothing to fix it

We had a wonderful stay here! We were upgraded to an oceanfront room that was fabulous! The room had a wonderful patio with table chairs, two lounge chairs with umbrella and literally steps to the beautiful uncrowded sandy warm water beach! The property is beautifully landscaped and clean. The pools are wonderful. The staff is friendly. The food was great, offering both local Thai food as well as many other options. Very peaceful and relaxing! Wonderful place!

We had a lovely bungalow near pond, it was very clean spacious bed was very comfy. Clean pool towels delivered every evening. Area was quiet and well kept.

They didn't have a standard ground floor room available (as I had requested), so kindly upgraded us to a pool access room and provided us with easy access steps to facilitate pool access

Reception and Service Staffs are excellent. We've got upgraded to a bungalow on our 2nd day due to a broken mirror in our standard room. The staffs were very helpful and courteous.

The best qualities of this resort are its staff. Attentive, professional and engaging staff who did their utmost to practice their English and ensure their customers were content. Rooms were very clean and welcoming with daily servicing. The clientele were mainly Europeans. The breakfast buffet was a highlight on arrival and we were spoilt with an upgrade to a spacious beach bungalow for our wedding anniversary. Few steps to negotiate for older clients. Lovely sandy beach and fitness options in hotel and pool aerobics daily. 4 pools all beautifully maintained. A well organised transport/taxi service to take you to the many surrounding markets, waterfalls, beaches and National parks. We will definitely be back!

We had a grand deluxe room in the mountain wing. The room was very nicely fitted out, clean and comfortable. Ensuit had all you needed and a lovely shower. Our balcony looked out to see through the tree line and was private and quiet. Breakfast was what you would expect with a variety of food options. From 7am to 10am we tried all times but never found a quiet time. The hotels location is a short walk to all the shops and eateries which is handy. However although nothing tangeable the grounds, pools and beach were not for us. It all seemed a little tight. So we used our room had breakfast then headed out on a sooter everyday. That we really enjoyed.

Beautiful location- fab hotel right on the beach - had a room quite high up, which was lovely, but paid extra for a beach bungalow which was well worth the extra. Staff super friendly - perfect location - had a hire car and went to different beaches, including White Sands, but they weren’t as nice as the beach at this hotel. Could walk for miles up the coast. Would consider coming here again. Top marks for this hotel .

Loved the large trees that provided shade right on the beach. Loved the quietness to enjoy the ocean and breeze.

We had a lovely stay at the Sensimar Khoalak Beachfront. The car service was waiting for us at Phuket and took us straight there. The Staff was great, the food was great and the location perfect for beach walks, swimming or heading to town.

This resort is fantastic. We booked an extra few nights on top of a deal. All the staff are so friendly and are always smiling. The many swimming pools are a great place to cool off. Great selection at breakfast, could chose something different each day if we wanted. This is our second stay at this resort and would definitely stay again

Great hotel for people who look for quiet place on the beach near to many shope and restaurants. I guess it depend the price you pay We got a great deal off season and we will come back again.

Such an amazing resort! We stayed in one of the beach side bungalows and could not be more pleased with the stunning location and perfect experience we had. I'll be going back there again for sure..... Highly recommended.

We have stayed in 4 hotels in Khao Lak and for us the Sensimar was the best. It was clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious with good storage and a full sized fridge. The shower and toilet were separate. The bed was huge and pretty comfortable. The a/c was brilliant. We went for half board as the deal was so good through hotels.com. The food was amazing. A great variety of foods for all tastes. The staff never stop smiling. They take a real interest in the guests. I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful break from two weeks of travel. We stayed here to recover from a week and a half of on the go sightseeing and it was perfect. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and they give that extra touch of service to make it 5 stars

I have booked this hotel because it offered airport suttle. However when I landed I found out that there was a charge to get the suttle service. I ended up spending extra $100 on transportation between airport and hotel and back. Felted cheated but had no choice but had to spend the $ to get there.

Beachfront resort with beautiful gardens on a quiet, private setting.

Excellent location. Facilities are fantastic. Rooms were large & well appointed. Meals were of high quality. I would highly recommend this resort.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained and the location is good, a short walk into town. The only let down for me was the room, the beds weren't very comfortable and the air con unit is right above the bed, I don't like freezing cold air blowing on me while I sleep, and the room got too stuffy if it wasn't on. We had a room in the mountain wing and it was a nice view, the doors to these rooms are impossible to close quietly, so the sound of doors slamming all the time gets annoying. would be good if management put soft close hinges on these to improve peacefulness. Would also be good if housekeeping staff were told to be a little quieter when moving around the corridors, they tend to yell to each other and have loud conversations which echo, sounds like they are arguing but it is really just chatter.

We were pleasantly surprised with Khao Lak & with Sensimar. If you want a quiet place where you could just let your mind wonder & appreciate life away from the hustle & bustle of daily routine, Khao Lak is the ideal spot. A small town with few shops & very little night life. And Sensimar Khao Lak is the right hotel. Being adult only, with modern facilities, very warm & welcoming staff, we were treated to quietness, kindness, cleanliness & good amenities. Some people go on holidays expecting perfection (not possible) & so their expectations are never met even if the hotel or location tried very hard. However, if you are looking for a peaceful holiday, willing to put up with very minor inconveniences, like the English not perfectly spoken or some minor hiccups in the facilities or service, but you want peace, laughter, warmth, support, sensible prices & good food, then the Sensimar is for you. The hotel is located at the beginning of the town strip, and is about 10 minutes walk to Khao Lak town centre, where a good selection of eateries, supermarkets, souvenir shops, money changers & small bars are. The town is welcoming & there is still an innocence about Khao Lak that Phuket, Koh Samui & other like holiday spots have lost. Definitely not a place filled with vendors & thriving night life. Try the Sun Star Siam Restaurant just directly across the hotel for good outside food. And a must is the ACOUSTIC Bar which has great live (superb guitar) music and run by a friendly family.

It was a very special anniversary for us and these lovely people went over and above to make it a most memorable stay from the time we arrived. Close to town where you can walk, or they have shared transportation which came in handy on occasion. We went to a few reviewed "most beautiful beaches", but honestly the one at Sensimar was even nicer. Has to be the best beach in the area. The most beautiful clear water, soft velvet sand along with lots of shade trees which made it very pleasant. I was able to do some snorkeling there, which was a nice surprise. Had lunch and one dinner and found the food to be very good and reasonable in case you don't feel like leaving the hotel. Good breakfast as well. Can't wait to return!

Very pleased with my first time experience in Khaolak. I would go back and stay at the same hotel. I was impressed with the beach areas around the hotel. Great for walks, pictures and swimming. There were not many people at the resort (visited April 2018) which I liked and also no children. I liked that. Although I cannot say what it would be like in high season.

We loved everything about our stay here. We started with a beautiful welcoming for our anniversary. Thank you Jennifer. Ideal location right in the beach. We loved the rocky area that others have not spoken about positively. Swimming here was great. Staff were awesome, gardens beautiful, breakfast eating area stunning and the food selection was great. rooms were lovely as were the pool areas. Thanks to kukai on tour desk who went above and beyond assisting us renting a car. Fabulous selection of cheap, lovely, great food and cocktails right out the front. walking distance the town and short ride to great night markets, I preferred build market. We loved it here and much better value than Phuket.

My 4th stay - as always the very best. Helpfull staff always with a smile. So clean that you feel like taking af your shows when walkin the floors. Nice and clean pools, wonderful beach, exelent food - can’t find anything negative to say. Sure I’ll come again and again.

We felt the hotel catered for all of needs, environment, location, surroundings, atmosphere. The hotel had everything you require for a relaxing vacation. The Main Street is only a five minute walk to restaurants and shops in the evening so you don’t feel isolated in your hotel. The rooms were spacious albeit the grand deluxe is up a mountain. The cheaper rooms are ground level and located by the pool. If I was to return I would choose the latter. All in all a great vacation 😎

Stayed here for 3 nights Dec 2017 in a Grand Deluxe room. Very nice, quiet, Adults Only hotel. This and the hotels either side of it are on the nicest bit of this stretch of beach. Rooms are at different levels so some require walking up/downhill. The pool facing rooms are at ground level. There are a couple of very nice pools. Our room was about 50 stairs up, but easily manageable and also meant we had a nice view of the beach. Room was a good size with good air con. We ate at the hotel two nights, once at the beachside cafe type restaurant which was very nice and once at the main beachfront restaurant for the Seafood Buffet night which was amazing. It's only a short walk along the road to many other restaurants/shopping. It seems this hotel suits older guests who like quiet. There are lots of lounges dotted along the beach, and the hotel actively discourages people from 'saving' them early in the morning which is good.

Loved the atmosphere at this hotel because it was so peaceful all the time. The staff were always very helpful and the spa was fantastic. The eating options were good but the room service options were a bit limited. The deluxe pool room suite was perfect because it was great to be able to access the pool and sun bathe from the comfort of your room. The location right by the water was also fantastic and I can't wait to go back!

Great place to unwind! The lady who checked me in (Gift?) was amazing and so much better than one of the big hotel chains in Phuket. Loved my room and the fact that it was on the quieter part of the beach. Perfect place for couples.

Had a great stay at hotel people were friendly ,location great and very peaceful the only issue we had was after a long flight and travel we had the hotel induction on arrival which was great and very informative and when we paid we was advised to pay GBP which we did but it codt £100 more than price on expedia, we booked a room for our son for a few nights and paid THB and it was same price . We felt that because we were tired we were taken advantage of of or it was lack of staff knowledge .Apart from that we had a great time

We loved this resort. Our room had everything we needed and was very spacious,but if I wanted to be picky it was hard to see with the lighting available and a ceiling fan would have been handy for night instead of leaving air con on which blew on us while in our bed. The pools were beautiful, location on beach lovely. We had sunset dinner in their restaurant and buffet breakfast everyday and it was plentiful, delicious and good variety. Beautiful to dine there on beach. They were very helpful at reception and even let us use the facilities eg. pools etc including shower and toilets, providing towels for us, after checkout till our pickup for airport arrived. There was a lovely welcome as well with cold towels, drinks and information from the hotel manager. Everything was kept very clean. Its only a short walk to town or to restaurants. We had a balcony room overlooking pool area and there were lifts down to ground level and short walk to pools and breakfast. You wont be disappointed if you stay here.
