Khaolak Bay Front Resort

Staff very friendly and great breakfast. Extra beach pools available at the pool.

Lovely resort on the beach. The beds were comfortable, nice hot shower, WiFi worked well, breakfast was pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pools and lounge chair availability was good. We would stay here again if in the area.

Fantastisk beliggenhet helt ned til stranden. Rolig plass.

Beautiful rooms with comfortable bed and furniture. We had a deluxe room on the second floor, which I would recommend as gives you some privacy. Nice beach to walk and swim. Breakfast buffet was good. We had dinner a couple of times at the hotel and there's also a little restaurant in walking distance on the beach. All staff were really helpful and pleasant. Beautiful gardens and 2 inviting pools. Guests put their towels on the seat at 6:30 in the morning, but by the second pool, you could usually find a chair anytime in the day. I usually ignore comments when they say you cannot walk, but in this case, it is true a busy hilly road dangerous road to walk 7-Eleven or stores restaurants. Lots of smokers with no designated smoking area.

Lovely quiet area with Lovely garden. Situated out from the town but good if you like walking! German orientated.

The Khaolak Bayfront Resort has an older charm, which some might appreciate, but I found it to be just okay overall. The beachfront is undoubtedly its standout feature—absolutely stunning and the main highlight of the stay. However, communication can be a challenge as the staff’s English proficiency is limited, making it difficult to resolve issues or ask for assistance. The restaurant, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. The menu offerings are not very diverse, portions are surprisingly small (e.g., just four shrimp for a full plate of dinner), and prices are on the higher side. When I requested help to address these concerns, the response was not accommodating, which added to the frustration. To make matters worse, there was a mix-up involving the food order, and instead of resolving the issue, the manager attempted to charge me without fully understanding the situation. This led to a very disappointing customer experience. Overall, while the beachfront is wonderful, the outdated facilities, communication barriers, and disappointing dining experience leave much room for improvement.

God frukostbuffe.

I really enjoyed the beautiful, landscaping and relaxing feel at this property. excellent design throughout also and fantastic pristine beach and ocean with breathtaking views of all around. Khao Lak is my new favorite Thailand destination to relax. With great activities, nearby, snorkeling, elephant, home and even surfing rentals. It’s a 30 minute walk into town to get basic groceries , bottled water and beer. Easy to get a truck tuk to return to the hotel. It would be great to have a more secure, sliding door, locking mechanism. Overall this is an awesome resort to stay at n I’ll definitely return n tell others !!

I had a very relaxing time during the weekend, staff were very attentive and responsive. Recommended for the location, access to the beach and great pool areas.

Good service.

Amazing stay! Will come back again!

very nice surrounding

We were there in May, 2024. The rooms are a bit old but they're good & have all the basics. They provided a mattress topper on the day we arrived when the bed was too hard. They provided us mosquito spray as the mosquitos are pretty bad given the time of year. They also provided free scooter parking for the scooter we hired. Would definitely return if staying in Khao Lak again.

Bayfront immer wieder gerne!!

Skønt hotel

Great property. Bit of the beaten track, but one of the best beaches and some good bars for food and drinks very close by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will come back

The hotel was set in beautiful tropical grounds, righr by the sea. I would come back again and recommend it to others. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff had a great holiday.

We enjoyed a wellcoming stay at this resort. People were very kind all the time. We enjoyed the very good food during lunch and dinner. We would definitively come back.

This is an excellent property on the beach with their own support facilities. A very good Thai style seafood restaurant about ten minutes drive south. We did two one day trips to Andaman sea islands and they were each very enjoyable and informative. The hotel is good for families and couples.

Nice hotel with a lot of green and palm trees, and swimming pool right next to the beach, situated in a beautiful area.

Secluded and natural beautiful gardens Friendliness of all staff Stunning beach front location Mini paradise

Var der i 4 uker! Koselig hotell beliggende på stranda. Hyggelig personale.

Fantastic resort and lovely staff. Also a good mixture of guests from different countries ie not just from one place

Rigtig dejligt hotel, direkte ved stranden. Flot udsigt over bugten og fantastiske solnedgange hver aften. Mange spisesteder, butikker mm i Khao Lak. Absolut et hotel der kan anbefales.

The Expedia rate was excellent for this property which is in a nice quiet location on the beach at Khao Lak, and a short taxi ride (100-150 Baht each way) from the main street. The room was pleasant but it was not initially the "beach-side" bungalow I thought I was getting, but one set 3 rows back with a beach view just about. That changed however when we complained about a noisy aircon unit that they couldn't fix quickly so they moved us to a vacant beachside bungalow with just a strip of grass and sun-loungers between us and the beach. That was nice and the sunset views from the room were spectacular. Nice friendly staff - always willing to help, good breakfast buffet and lunch choices, (didn't try dinner there). A couple of nice pools in the centre of the property with one just back from the beach.

Amazing place with nice beach and the staff was always so kind and smiling... We really miss the breakfast times not only for the foods but also that cute black cat who always comes next to us ❤️ Miss you dummdum 😂

A wonderful resort with the beach just steps from your room. Fantastic breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Fantastic is all I can say

Steder får samlet set mine aller bedste anbefalinger🙂🙂🙂

Perfect stay and service. The only resort with grass beachfront.

Absolute beach front with beautiful gardens. 2 pools.

Rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing - we’ve never seen happier and friendlier folks at any resort.

Nice gardens a pool areas. Mountain View rooms a bit tired. Staff very polite and friendly. Predominantly a German clientele so a bit of sunbed reserving went on. Simple but pleasant breakfast selection. Overall not the poshest Hotel on the beach but a perfectly nice one!

Very nice hotel and nice staff! We will come back

Nice hotel at the beach and 5 min with tuk tuk to city. Good service and ok breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean but might need a renovation. The area is quite and full of old people and if you have kids you might not feel so welcome. The pools are big, warm and clean.

This hotel is a great place for people who are looking for a quiet place to stay right on the beach. We were really pleased that although the Bayfront was so reasonably priced, it's located on such a nice beach and actually still walkable to the little town to the north (20 min walk on beach or sidewalk). Such good value! Love the fact that this hotel is not a huge imposing resort that has taken over the jungle but instead it feels like this hotel has respected nature and was built in the jungle. Warning: this hotel is not a great place if you're looking for a fun party atmosphere. Most people staying at this resort are retirees, families with young children, and some young people looking for a quiet retreat. The only two minor disappointments we had with this hotel were a few ants in our room because of a gap between our hotel room door and the floor and the airport transfer the hotel arranged for our trip home. The van they arranged was over a half hour late because the driver was coming from a previous job driving someone to the airport. I think the hotel staff thought he could make it but they were cutting it too close and this made our whole trip home more stressful than it needed to be.

Fantastikt fint hotell i en tropisk trädgård. 2 bra pooler, strand nedanför. Bra frukost, mkt vänlig och tillmötesgående personal.

This was a very good stay, the roim was spacious and very clean, in good condition, service is good and the direcr access to the beach is a huge plus. As from now, this will be my hotel of choice when I go diving the Similans!

Un lugar excelente! Muy tranquilo y el mar hermoso! Lo recomiendo

Dejligt ophold!

The hotel was set in beautiful gardens and led down onto a lovely beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was reasonably priced.

This is a beautiful quiet resort right on the beach tucked away in the southern corner of Khaolak Bay. It's an easy walk into town but if you don't feel up to it there are plenty of cheap taxi's to take care of that. Staff are all super friendly. I would thouroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from the maddening crowd to chill out,

Beautiful tropical gardens full of animal and plant life. Staff friendly and helpful. Location excellent with quiet beach, 100 baht taxi into Khao Lak centre. Would return tomorrow! Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive.

it was average. If you like old people with fat bodies in swimming costumes this is the place for you.

Loved our one night here and wished it had been longer. This resort was designed on a somewhat narrow property that leads down to the beach. Great use of space, great staff and a beautiful beach...

Excellent. Love this part of the province. Nice beaches. Good food. Friendly local people.

Lovely hotel in beautiful setting. Two nice pools and right on the beach. Excellent breakfasts.

Good and quiet location within meters of access to the beach. Value for money choice if you don't mind a bit extra driving
