Golden Beach Hotel Pattaya

The overall place was decent, but unfortunately, there were several things that made our stay disappointing. The room felt quite old and appeared to be in need of renovation or upgrading. The extra bed also did not feel completely safe or secure. I was also unsure whether the chairs were properly cleaned, as they did not appear to be well-maintained. The balcony had a view of the surrounding area, which was nice. However, I personally felt uncomfortable while standing there because of the design and the overall feeling of the balcony. It gave me a strange sensation, as if someone might accidentally push you, so I did not feel completely safe staying there for long. The food was okay and acceptable, but nothing particularly special. Another disappointment was the hotel's name and description suggesting that it is located on or near the beach. Unfortunately, there is no beach at the property, which I found misleading and disappointing. The most frustrating part of our stay was our experience with the Front Office. I unfortunately forgot the name of the staff member, but we asked her for assistance in finding the correct bus station to Bangkok. We even used a mobile phone translation app to make sure our request was understood. However, we were still directed and booked to the wrong location, which caused us considerable inconvenience and frustration. 😩 I hope the management can take these concerns seriously, especially regarding room maintenance, guest safety, accurate information, and staff assistance. With some improvements, the overall guest experience could be much better.

The biggest advantage of Hotel Golden Beach is its outstanding location. The hotel is centrally situated in Pattaya, just off the main road on a quiet side lane, providing a peaceful and noise-free environment despite being in the heart of the city. One of the city's major shopping destinations, Central Pattaya, is located directly opposite the hotel, making shopping and entertainment easily accessible. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of dining options, including Indian, Thai, American, and many other international cuisines. Being located near the main road, the hotel provides convenient access to local transportation, with tuk-tuks readily available to take you to any part of Pattaya. Additionally, the beach is only a short five-minute walk away, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and sightseeing. The hotel itself may appear somewhat dated from the outside, but it is exceptionally well maintained. The check-in process was quick and efficient—we were in our room within five minutes of arriving at the hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well kept. The beds are comfortable, the bed linens are fresh and immaculate, and the towels are of excellent quality. Housekeeping does a commendable job of maintaining the rooms, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests. The hotel primarily caters to Indian guests, many of whom arrive as part of organized tour groups. Consequently, the breakfast buffet is largely focused on Indian cuisine. While the variety may appeal to Indian travelers, we found the quality and taste of the food to be disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor and did not meet our expectations. Given the hotel's otherwise good standards, the breakfast experience was a letdown and appears to be an area where the management could make significant improvements. Another significant drawback of this hotel is the internet connectivity. During our stay, the Wi-Fi was extremely slow and often unreliable, making it difficult to browse the web, stream content, or stay connected. In today's world, where dependable internet access is an essential requirement for many travelers, this was a major disappointment. If reliable high-speed internet is important to you, this hotel may not be the ideal choice.

The staff behaviour is not good. I have booked the hotel where it mentioned check in 2:00 pm and checked out time is 12:00 but staff asking to room at 11:00 am.

The hotel alleges false damages in the room 30-60 mins after key is deposited on check and demands compensation, eg it produced an old, soiled and stained pillow cover and demanded BHT 200 for laundry. Breakfast is complimentary with room. The Indian Breakfast is unpalatable. Bhaturas, omellete, sausages, etc are cold and rubbery. There is no live counter to make eggs to order, heat sausages, etc. If a guest elects to switch to American Breakfast, shockingly, BHT 200 is demanded. Worse, BHT 200 is demanded for a Thai Guest even on Breakfast Coupon. Items like Moisturiser, shaving kit, dental kit etc not provided. Reception is unfriendly and uncooperative. It even refuses to provide change for BHT 1000. Wifi is very unstable. Theft of guest's belongings is usual. Rooms do not have a safe. Overall, the Hotel is an apology and a blot on Hospitality Industry. Avoid patronizing it if another option exists.

This hotel is very bad experience in my life I am indian pataya vendor.TIC Bangkok booked eight rooms in Golden Beach pataya hotel ,519/27 pataya 2 road,opposite pataya central mall,pataya city chonburi,thailand, wef check in 28/10/2025 and check out from this hotel all rooms date 30/12/2025 and all rooms keys accepted by the reception. However the receptionist after 2 hour of checkout prior departure of our bus,receptionist alleged 200 bht ad cost of laundry but room is very neat and clean so please this hotel is very bad experience in my life and hotel staff is very angry with my colleagues ,and room facilities are not available like light problems and mobile charging and cleaning Ness and more like dirty wash room

Hotel is a bit dated, can improve their breakfast spread. No positivity from most of the staff and recive a answer of NO for any request. At check in were given lecture of various instructions of do's and don'ts and charges for any thing damaged or missing in the room rather than making us feel welcome

The hotel location was good. It is very close to the beach and walking street in Pattaya. The reception was a bit rude, and there was another very helpful person with a nice smile who couldn't get the name. Although I didn't book the hotel with early check-in, I was able to get a room before the check-in time. The rooms were somewhat old-fashioned. It doesn't have a fancy interior. The bedsheet was dirty and had a bad smell. The room was not very clean. breakfast was not that up to the mark . rooms with balcony plus point. it's a very good location. It's a budget-friendly hotel.

First time I have been to such a disgusting hotel. We were nearly assaulted by their drunken staff. Bunch of liers, thieves with third class customer service. Dirty bedsheets, no white fresh towels and very rude uneducated staff. Their american breakfast was a waste of time and money.. To avoid this hotel at all cost.

I recently stayed at the Pattaya Golden Beach Hotel, and my stay was quite enjoyable. Lower floor rooms is quite noisy due to club next to it. No concierge service found as we need to take our luggage by ourself. Pool were not so clean. Breakfast is average

Too many noisy rude Indians...thought we had accidentally woken up in the back blocks in Calcutta.

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I experienced during my recent stay at your hotel. I checked in on 30/05/2024 at 2:00 PM and was assigned a room that appeared quite old and did not have a bathtub, which was contrary to the room features I had booked. In the evening, I approached the reception and showed them my booking details. Fortunately, I was then assigned a new room that met my expectations and included a bathtub.

The breakfast is good. but no much options to be selected. All foods seem focused to Indian style

If your of Afro/Caribbean decent this is not the place for you. They're racist and they are thieves .... The breakfast is wack... The only good thing about the location is that the beach is close by... Other than that stay away from this place...

One word- CHAOS. Complete chaos. At breakfast time there are thousands of people at same time. It is located well but at night you will feel you are trying to sleep in pub. The location is great.

Our reservation was lost by the hotel and they tried to put my wife and I into a room with two single beds. At first we were told there were no queen beds available however when I told them to cancel my booking they quickly found one. The hotel is very old and run down.

The location is very good with a manageable budget. Even it is easy to go local market and sea beach. Breakfast, Wi-Fi, and a swimming pool are free for guests. Golden Beach Hotel & resort is also very net and clean and a very good room service they provide to guests.

the hotel is ok, only people of a specific culture should stay there, my bad due to my mistake , i stayed 1 night and check out 2 days early, my error ,if you to a Italian restaurant and order Chinese, u will be disappointed

Golden Beach Hotel is situated in the busy area of the town Pattaya. Front elevation and tall building is looking good. Rooms are maintained neatly and services are good. Providing complimentary breakfast. wi-fi facility in the rooms are not proper.

The swimming pool was large good and better than I expected . My family had two rooms the rooms were clean neat and the neighborhood was quiet the toilets had hot water . The problem is the WiFi is abit slow so if you could make it abit fast it would be great for your customers . Almost everything is great .

Breakfast is third class. Guest entry charges are applicable @300 bht location is ok but you csn check inn at 2 pm. Early check inn they dont allow either rooms are available or not. Overall experience is ok but the main drawback is breakfast they are provoideing breakfast like cattle food

Rooms were clean and decent and the manager was firm and polite. No nonsense allowed inside the hotel. A very decent Indian breakfast well conceived. The south facing rooms will expose you to the bars and parties in Pattaya all night long :)

The staffs were arrogant and no help from their side. Even the bell boys are there , they refused to pick and drop our luggages. Not at all friendly atmosphere. Even when we ask for Drinking water at the restaurant, the staff gave an unresponsive attitude and dint gave the water also. Highly disappointed with the staffs and their services.

We were the only white European people in the hotel and when the Indian's came and whent,some times earlier morning, made a lot of noise. As most British people like to drink till the early hours. Not good. And they looked you up and down. And the WiFi in and out every day.
