The gardens pool staff are all great. Great night time music with band and its right opposite beach.

The extremely loud fan that came on each time you switched the bathroom light on..impossible to talk with the noise!

Over the road from the beach and very handy to ATM, laundry, restaurants, bars, shops and minimarts. Signs around the pool saying you couldn’t leave your lounge unattended for too long which was great

Resort is very big and got a bit lost. Two pools but found it hard to find a lounge in the sun

We have stayed here on numerous occasions. Usually experiment with one or two other hotels/villas before we end up here and wonder why we bother. Kumala will be our go to place from here on. The only criticism I can level is yes, the pool lounge hogging. I’m not sure why people think it’s okay to do that? Happy to be enlightened.

Great location but that’s it

Front reception male staff member very rude and abrupt. No smile or manners. Bed was like concrete, as was pillow. The many many many elderly entitled guests took over all sun lounges with their towels before 9am at pool staff wouldn’t move them even though Sign says do not reserve lounges. When I tried to move towels where no one was I got blasted by a few of them saying it’s their friends! On departure apparently do staff could not organise us a driver either but I got one on grab myself. Breakfast was extremely average to poor. Waited 45 mins for a coffee each morning even though there wasn’t many guests there. Way better stay at other establishments

This hotel had it all for us, they really know how to cater for Aussies! Lovely big rooms with comfortable beds and big pillows. I loved the reading lights on the bed so my husband could sleep while I read. Air con a treat and worked well as did the fridge and shower. Netflix included on the nice big TV's provided in both lounge and bedroom. . Food variety was very good and ice cold Bintang's. Loved the pool area which had sufficient sunbeds The Customer Service was also very good, thank you to all the staff who made our stay a very pleasant one. We will be back

My daughter and I had a wonderful week here. As others have said the grounds are beautiful. The location is fantastic with shops, massage places and money exchangers very close by. It’s so very quiet and relaxing in such a busy area. Breakfast was more than adequate and we both had special coffees made which were worth the extra cost. Our only complaint would be the towels were very thin and worn. But we’ll happily put up with that. The staff are friendly and eager to help if there’s a problem.

Great location but that’s about it. No friendly welcome, rooms old, bed is hard as I have ever slept on, pillow same. So many entitled seniors returning for the 30th time hogging the lounges around the pool and pool men didn’t bat an eyelid. Stayed 3 days and couldn’t get two lounges together during our whole stay. On departure no smile or thank you and supposedly no bluebird taxis available to take us to next location. Bathroom had a broken noisy fan, breakfast was very ordinary and cappuccinos were not included. Vastly u depart compared to Bali Bintang Resort.

I absolutely loved this beachfront hotel! It has every single thing you could possibly need! It is in the best location in Legian. Simply walk out of the hotel and you have shopping at your doorstep. Staff amazing, pool amazing, real homely feel. Have booked to go back! Thank you Pantai

Had another lovely stay at the Kumala Panti. Service was amazing and the room was lovely. Was quiet, clean and had a lovely atmosphere with great amenities. Restaurant is great and has a lovely outlook to the beach. Felt very safe to be staying there as solo traveller and will definitely stay there again.

We loved everything about our stay here and will return for sure. The rooms are clean and spacious and the gardens are outstanding and so tranquil with ponds and seating areas.There are ample sun lounges and shady areas around the two pools and the buffet breafast is good too. It totally exceeded our expectations.

The Kumala Pantai is our "home away from home", we just love it! Have been staying at the KP ever since it opened in 2002 and have never been disappointed. The staff are beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious and the gardens and absolutely amazing.

We once again had a fabulous time at Kumala Pantai on our recent holiday. Whilst my husband and I have stayed a number of times at the hotel this was the first time for our family group (which included my eldest daughter, her husband and our 3 year old granddaughter, our youngest daughter, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their three teenage children) and they too thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The staff were amazing (in all departments) and the hotel's amenities were virtually flawless and the whole stay provided us with value for money. I would like however, to pay special thanks to Lunik for her amazing help throughout our reservation process. Thank you all again for making our stay so enjoyable and I look forward to our next stay (which hopefully won't be too long)!

Absolutely amazing ⭐️ 5 star. So close to everything you need, best restaurants in Legian close by. Grounds were immaculate garden stunning, staff friendly and accommodating buffet breakfast great. We went to Sanur after staying here and wish we had to stay there longer . Will definitely be back

Bali at its best ! Kamala Pantai is a Jewel in the crown of this magnificent islands wonders. My second stay has reinforced my first stay experience that this hotel is perfection and my Bali “home”.KP is located brilliantly .Its kind , respectful and happy staff are special and a major part of this places magic. it’s lush gardens and Tropical outlook from the rooms verandahs , restaurants cuisine and ambiance , evening entertainment, new gelateri and wood fired pizzas all exceptional. KP is a safe restful haven amidst busy Legian You choose how often you leave its sanctuary for all the excitement Bali offers just outside its boundaries .Beach out back and shops,restaurants,spas ,galleries out the front . Now planning to go each year as many of people I met there do.Thanks KP staff and management

Incredible stay in this lovely Hotel in a great location and was so impressed with their eco-friendly laundry practice. The breakfast was delicious and with two lovely swimming pools we were very satisfied. Will definitely book again.

This our third stay at the Hotel Kumala Pantai and didn't disapoint. It is well located in Legian with all you need close by. Great facilities.

Big spacious room and bathroom, good breakfast, very beautiful garden. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Good location near double six beaches near to everything. We even got a breakfast box as we had to check out very early in the morning.

The breakfasts were great - lots of choice! The restaurant served tasty and affordable dishes. The hotel room was very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly. The gardens and pool were well maintained.

Some hotel guests were quite loud around the pool particularly kids yelling and screaming at times.

Big spacious room and bathroom, good buffet breakfast, nice friendly helpful staffs and very beautiful garden. We even got a breakfast box as we had to check out very early in the morning. Excellent stay!

The hotel is just beautiful… especially gardens and the pool. Loved being there. If I could, I would stay there for a month or two. It felt like a little paradise . The gardeners there are doing a great job! Staff were always nice and helpful. Breakfast is good. 👍🏻 location is also nice 😊

Kumala Pantai feels like coming home-this being my 5th stay. However, I feel the service in restaurant isn’t as good as it used to be to be. Less staff perhaps? Rooms could do with some renovation and deep cleaning. Towels and bedding need to be replaced- looking quite worn and old. Gardens are always beautiful and the staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Feel very safe staying here.Fantastic location with easy walking to great restaurants, shopping and the beach. Lots of positives and good memories-will be returning next year😀

Location, price and facilities were fabulous.

They need to invest in some new linen. Towels for both pool and personal use were very thin and old.

Everything but the terrible lighting in the rooms. Had to have a doctor visit, but had to consult outside because he couldn’t see my leg’s medical issue properly inside.

The Kumala never disappoints and starts with the friendly staff at check in. Nothing is ever a problem with their smiling faces. The rooms are spacious. Great pool with plenty of shade. Good breakfast. The gardens are so lush and gives you the 'Bali feeling' WE have been several times to this resort and you cannot beat it, value for money. The rooms are a little tired. However for the price they are very clean and comfortable. Will be going back for sure You could not get any better with the location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.
