It's a very beautiful hotel in a good location. The rooms were pretty and the staff were helpful.

The sheets and the bathroom weren't very clean. There was a gap behind the cupboard and if you dropped something there you couldn't get it out.

I enjoyed the tastefully decorated rooms and common areas with interesting art pieces as well as the refreshing swimming pool after a long hot day.

The location is excellent but the traffic noise is sometimes annoying

The facilities were wonderful; the staff ( particularly Ana at reception) were friendly and helpful; the food was magnificent - we always looked forward to sampling different breakfast styles! We were genuinely sorry to leave.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Solo. There are plenty of cafes nearby. Be sure to go for a morning jog to enjoy the surrounding area.

Some parts of the room need repair or refurbishment; for instance, the bathroom in my room seemed to have a leak. Also, the elevator to the guest floors doesn't require a key card, which is a bit concerning—it raises the worry that a stranger could knock on our door.

Goede locatie en ruime kamers, bed lag lekker. Mooie inrichting met allerlei cultuur-items. Klein museumpje.

Kamers zijn wat gedateerd, laminaat wat omhoog komt door vochtigheid en in de badkamer vieze douchegordijnen. Kan wel echt een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Fantastisch hotel, voorzien van alle luxe en een heeerlijk bed! We hebben genoten van het restaurant, de vriendelijke en beleefde staff, het zwembad en de spa-faciliteiten, echt een aanrader om even tot rust te komen in het prachtige Solo!

It was a bit disorganised. Check-in took a long time. A few of our group ate in the restaurant and service was very slow/wrong meals served etc. The water in the bedrooms wasn’t hot enough to run a bath which was very disappointing having paid for a suite.

L'hôtel est parfaitement placé dans Solo. Le personnel était aux petits soins. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. La piscine est parfaite pour nager au calme après les visites. Nous y avons passé 1 nuit.

Prachtig hotel in de modern koninklijke stijl van Solo. De ligging van het hotel in het centrum is ook ideaal, aangezien het dichtbij de grote batikhuizen (zoals Danar Hadi) ligt.

L’établissement et le personnel était top que ça soit les gens qui font le ménage au portier aux équipes de réception tout le monde étais fantastique merci énormément et l’hôtel est vraiment très classe ! Et propre !

Le gros soucis c’est le wifi inexistant il est là mais ne sert à rien vous capter jamais … De plus le massage c’est fait dans notre chambre je pense que pour un hôtel de ce standard sa ne serais pas trop que d’acheter deux tables de massage pliante pour que d’une part les personnes qui font le massage puisse tourner autour de nous ce qui leur éviterais des positions et postures déplaisante et de plus pour notre expérience .. avoir la tête dans l’oreiller pas fou je tiens quand même à dire que le personnel de passage étais top et c’est pas du tout leur faute juste un manque d’équipement de l’hôtel pour cette raison que j’ai mis 9 et pas 10

My mom was absolutely in love with this hotel! It almost feels more like walking in a museum than a hotel with all the lovely art. The staff was super nice and the restaurant had delicious food.

Our room had a door to the connecting room, we could hear the people in that room talking loudly while we were trying to sleep. Maybe there weren't any other rooms available, but this was a downside for me.

Vele traditionele kunstvoorwerpen - wel heel overdadig maar daardoor bijzondere sfeer. Ook goede locatie, dichtbij de keraton, traditionele en moderne restaurants (en mall). Uitgebreid en goed ontbijtbuffet, ook goed a la carte. Eten en cocktails aan het (rustige) zwembad.

Het hotel is in basis prima maar heeft wel een update nodig, en zeker ook de badkamer. Het bed sliep heerlijk.

Het zwembad was zeer koud en klein en er was bijna geen plek om te zitten. Het ontbijt is voor 90% gericht op Oosters eten.

Konsep nuansa jawa sangat terasa cantik dan modern. mulai dari pintu masuk, lobby, lift hingga ke kamar tidur bahkan di restoran. unik dan mewah konsepnya.

Kamar mandinya kurang terang dan amenities kurang lengkap.

I like the location is near to many places that I want to go. you just walk and you can go to many cafes, market and places, even by Becak or gojek, it is close to everything. I didn't eat in the restaurant, but get in room food order twice, and they were great, the taste is good.

I am very sensitive and easily get allergy if the room not clean. The bathroom smelled very bad (musty smell) on day 1 and get better after the cleaning service the next morning but in the night it get musty again. The towel also had the musty smelling on day 1. The blanket is very thin, so we were still getting cold in the night so I have to turn off the ac (outside is raining all the time every night).

If you don't mind that the room and corridor are run down, it is a nice place. The room was big and comfortable, actually clean if you ignore all the scuffs and imperfections. Good location (though about 10 minutes walk to the night market which felt a bit dark at night but overall okay). And wow the building, it's such an experience! Good and varied breakfast. Helpful staff with good English. For the price, the overall experience was adequate. Btw found amazing street food nearby: 1) go out left, if you can cross the road (not for the faint hearted, I almost cried on the way back) to the parking lot of Fort V., there are a lot of options and I had great nasi bakar 2) go out to the right, second stall you find is mie jebew and It was divine! (Spicy - ask for less if you can't take it...)

As mentioned, old run down room. The bath water didn't flow down that well, plumbing issue. Bath very high step to get in and out, fine for me but elderly (or those with less mobility) might struggle.

The hotel location is close to many tourist spots

The hotel could not issue an invoice for my booking because the payment was made to Booking.com which is very disappointing since I need the invoice for business purpose

Sjiek en in prachtige Javaans stijl/decoratie. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Top bedden. Voorzien van overdekt zwembad en gym (inclusief). Ligging zeer centraal. Vriendelijk personeel.

The staffs (front desks and the kitchen) go above and beyond. They were really helpful.

I liked the location and the size of the room. The various amenities and facilities available.

The room I was in had very weak aircon and I could never get to use the pool because it was always being used for occassions.

Beautiful hotel, really good location, staff friendly, rooms clean and spacious.

The air con wasn't very efficient. Room was really hot and struggled to sleep.

It was a lovely hotel good facilities in a great area not far from a lot of of tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and the breakfast had traditional and western food. Facilities were clean and when they were unsure of what I was saying on the phone they got someone to come up to make sure they understood me.

Unterkunft, Personal und Frühstück waren gut.

1 Aufzug war über 1 Woche defekt, beim 2. Aufzug kam es immer wieder zur Meldung „Überladen“ bei 5-6 Personen. Da ich auf den Aufzug angewiesen bin mußte ich teilweise 10-15 Minuten warten. Nach Beschwerde wurde dies dann endlich behoben. Bei einem 5Sterne Hotel erwarte ich zügigere Behebung solcher Mißstände.

The museum style

Like a mini Keraton, the room is uniquely decorated, heritage-luxury. Centrally located , within walking distance to Pasar Gede and Klewer, Kraton surakarta and Kauman Batik village. Local food was all within reach.

Room was very spacious. Breakfast was good, was worth the extra 99k rupiah

The bathroom is quite dated. The water tap was old and needed replacement. Also, dirty grout and silicone sealant that was peeling off, was definetely not up to the expecations. Also, hand towels were missing and I had to call housekeeping to put them in. Luggage took almost 15min to being brought up to my room which is annoying when you finally arrived at your hotel.
