Reviewed Jun 8, 2026I really would like to give more to this review as the staff was absolutely amazing and the room was very clean. location is ok in case you want to be in this side of the area but you`ll have to walk 10-15 min to the nearest MRT.
the reason why i cant give more is based on the room itself: it was a dark room with the only window in the bathroom. and the light wasnt too strong. also, the bathroom while clean, needs soo much improvement- cracks in the tiles, etc. room is 508 if not mistaken, so again, the hotel location is ok, staff and cleanliness is great so if you dont care about the room amentities it can be ok.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Excellent spot. Right in Ximending yet also not too close to the noisy center. Only a brief walk to Ximen station that can take you anywhere in Taipei. Staff are friendly and rooms are spacious even for two people.
The lack of power outlets. I found myself having to compete with my travel partner over who gets to charge what. Although that is no real fault of hotel. I reccomend bringing a power strip.

Reviewed May 11, 2026The staff was extremely welcoming and nice. They spoke English. They gave us umbrellas, bottled water, etc., as requested. Cleaning was done only if requested (you need to give them your key for that). The location is not very noisy and it's close to the lively Ximen district. From the airport MRT station, it's 20 minutes on foot, so it was easy to get to/from the airport. It was one of the cheapest options with a private bedroom/bathroom, with windows, and in the center of the city. The room was quite spacious as well. The tea and coffee provided were quite nice. No breakfast was provided.
The hotel is quite old, and you can see that in the room. It's cleaned, but still there are some stains on the wall, etc. The wifi was very unstable. The water took a long time to heat up, so you'd switch the hot water on and need to run it for several minutes until it becomes warm. The walls are very thin, and we could hear water running in other rooms, people walking in the corridor, etc. Despite that, we never had problems with the noise at night itself and slept comfortably. Overall, all of those things are not super crucial; the stay was OK, there was nothing that was terrible. Also keep in mind they do not provide toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, etc. Only shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, and tea/coffee.

The hotel room is not fully sound proof and it takes a bit of a walk to get to Ximen station. The elevator only starts at the 2nd floor, so you need to carry and lift your luggage through the stairs from the 1st floor up to 2nd floor.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026The staff are all exceptional. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in at no additional.cost since the room.is already available. They also allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout and after picking up our luggage, we were assisted bringing them down and were arranged a taxi going to the airport station.
The location is a bit far from Ximen station, about 8-10 min walk. Still ok though cause there are stores and restaurants as you walk. The bathroom.is big but it has an odd smell. I dont think vet is working well so they had to open the bathroom windows to let the odor out. No bidet!!!!! But i think this is normal in Taiwan. :-) Also, the bathroom is oddly located on the street side while bed did not have any view outside. No harm so everything is still ok for having to deal with accommodating hotel staff. I believe this is family owned business. They're really nice and kind!
