Reviewed Sep 15, 2026

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Private hot spring in our own bathroom ♨️, Super convenient location, just 2 minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station, Convenience stores, drug stores, and food options right next to the hotel, Close to Beitou’s main attractions Old-School Design but nice and comfortable, and a family-friendly place to stay. The breakfast wasn’t fantastic, but there was quite a good variety of options, which was great for having a quick meal before heading out for the day. You can also use the self-service laundry room, with both a washer and dryer available. Detergent can be purchased from a coin machine, which is very convenient.
The walls between rooms might be a little thin due to the building’s older structure. We heard some loud conversations from the neighbouring room on our first night, but didn’t hear anything for the rest of our stay. It may have been because the neighbouring room was empty afterwards.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Chyuan Du Spring Resort (one night in north Taipei, thin hotel but old posh inside). The reception staff here were nice and friendly. The onsen was hot but didn't have the full white sulfuric water you might expect. The decor inside was a bit dated, but beds were comfortable. There was lots of space inside the room. Location was good if coming from the nearby train station. It's not worth walking from the red line as it's all uphill.
The breakfast was OK but a bit limited. This hotel set off my allergies, so I'm not convinced it was that clean. No other hotel in Taiwan (out of 9) did this.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Good location. The hot spring tub is a good size. Breakfast was ok. The staff was polite. Rooms have private wifi.
The comforter was dirty. The room photos on booking are misleading. The air conditioner worked but it was very dated. The plug chain came off the drain for the tub, which was remedied the next day. At 12 midnight someone rang our room. The hotel requests that you leave your key with them when you go out... All this made our first night less than pleasant. The room lock is a single deadbolt and chain.
