Stunning resort and facilities.. choice of pools and quiet areas.. Large hotel and as result felt it lost any charm or personal touch. Breakfast was example of this.. We were added to table with others no choices due to being too busy, loud chaotic prefer table service..internal places to dine good but very expensive and seem to cater for high volume.. great place if you like busy large resort and are impressed by visual architecture features..
Fantastic resort in Nusa Dua. Friendly staff, large room, amazing breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed, quiet. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants
Amazing property albeit not quite impressive as I thought it would be but would still definitely recommend
Food was great. Communication on check in was terrible. Did not know about having to book for meals at night time. No mini bar or snacks. The excuse of Covid is crap.
Myself and my wife were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and the Mulia is a Fantastic venue thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mulia. Staff are fantastic and very accommodating. Highly recommend the Mulia.
Nice and clean hotel
Mulia Resort is exceptional. I needed a place where I could enjoy serene surroundings, exceptional service, quality throughout AND amazingly professional staff. Mulia delivered on all areas. Thank you to the amazing staff who made my visit all that was promised.
EVERYTHING IS ABOUT MONEY
I felt less staff in the property.
A beautiful property. Excellent food, service and location. I would definitely recommend this as one of the best hotels in Nusa Dua.
Highly recommend
Absolutely amazing staff and hotel!!!!
This is the best resort I have ever stayed at!
This property is outstanding and faultless. There are not words to describe how fantastic this property and the service it’s absolutely incredible . I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
I have stayed many times at Mulia. It is a beautiful resort but this time it was not as good as previous stays.
beautiful but we had ants
I stepped into a totally different world the moment you get onto the hotel premises. So peaceful and serene. I would highly recommend the Mulia to holiday goers with children. I will definitely be returning back soon.
Espectacular resort! Beautiful beach, excellent food options.
Great Resort with friendly and welcoming staff.
My friend and I stayed at the Mulia for 10 days. First for 4 days, then 3 and extended for 3 more. The grounds are very clean and comfortable and the room and beds were especially great. There are a lot of staff in hand but the customer service could improve a tad bit as there was some misunderstanding when we extended- it did not show in the system which led to dome confusion. Also, at breakfast when ordering tea or juice sometimes the staff forgot and we had to wait for a long time or tell them again and again. There are a lot of swimming pools but none are specifically for adults use, so it is hard yo swim when little kids are playing in all the pools. If there us a designated pool or kids (though kids are in each one if the 7 pools), there should be at least one pool designated just for adults so we can have a comfortable swim and relaxing time. It is a non smoking hotel, but guests still smoke in their rooms and the smoke penetrated to our room. I am allergic to cigarettes so that was hard to deal with. Also after cleaning our toilet bidet and me using it, i had gotten sort of a rash on my legs that seemed to have reacted with the heat of the sun and resulted in red spotting on the inside of my legs. I had to go to the hospital and got some ointment, and though the rash is nit as bad now - almost a week later - it is there. I let the staff know about it, and they checked on me the following day.
Really happy with the stay. The children activity is super good. Love our stay. Will definitely come back next year
I came back here again after staying here 2 weeks ago. It is clean, comfortable, great dining options, staff, pools. After a very disappointing stay at Hyatt Regency, it was so lovely to be back here. So I extended for extra few days.
Before I loved the Mulia's breakfast and I decided to back again. ( after pandemic Japanese sushi chef gone and no more Korean BBQ ). So rude staffs at the dessert section. Too many group tours were so loud and dropped hotel quality
Beautiful hotel pools and food were excellent..
Truly a 5 star hotel. Variety of restaurants, service is amazing, always with a smile and cannot do enough for you. A huge resort but very personalised. So many swimming pools and a lovely beach to go for a swim and long walks.
Truly stunning property, whith the best breakfast I have ever encountered. Each and every restaurant is exceptional
The property is very well maintained, beautiful & picturesque. Mulia resort has everything you would need for a nice, relaxing and an enjoyable holiday. The staff were amazing and we received a very warm welcome. We will definitely staying again there when we visit Bali!
First time I stayed at this property a year ago was actually amazing. But this time when I decided to stay at the same property, the place was so unclean. The balcony outside my room was infested with red ants. The housekeeping entered the room in the evening when I did not call for any and shocked me because this is the first time I’m experiencing this. With valuables lying around the room, how can the housekeeping just enter the room. Really disappointed in the whole experience this time.
Need motorbike parking
Stayed 5 days at The Mulia the property is located at Nusa Dua real nice area to stay in Bali. Rooms are spacious latest finishings deco is beautiful lots of amenities Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety Prices for lunch and dinner are quiet high but the food is delicious.. Loved the numerous pools the beach and Entertainment offered by the hotel Staff was reaponsive and helpful Down side is you have to pay at the spa for sauna steam room jacuzzi etc. this is offered free for hotel guests in most of the hotels i've stayed in. Otherwise this hotel is worth every penny
The mulia resort is very clean!
How quiet it was and everything was pristine
Excellent breakfast buffet, beautiful pools and restaurants, and friendly staff. I would return.
The breakfast options were absolutely amazing The staff go out of their way to help
The property was absolutely amazing!!! Service from all staff was exceptional. I would like to give a special thanks to a lovely young lady by the name of ITA who was waiting on us on the buffet. Her serve was absolutely superb!!! We will be back
Great resort hotel
Service was great, food fantastic, environment wonderful. One of the best places we’ve stayed in the world.
The facility was great but unfortunately the 3 worse sleeps we ever experienced during our holidays and we had in our bedroom, with the noise we had from above our bedroom.we were at room 2613-management came to witness the noise of chairs and tables dragging on and off but seems like not a big deal.
Beautiful resort and such friendly staff. Everything was immaculately clean and rooms were gorgeous
The most friendly and helpful staffs ever!
So this review would have been one of 5 stars, However the fact that we booked a room and had the bait and switch done on us at check in was not appreciated. The front desk (check in staff) are quite dismissive and standoffish. When we question why the toom type we paid for and were sold was not provided ? They just said sorry we are busy this is what you get ! How is this acceptable, they just stayed quiet and didn’t do anything what’s so ever. That being said the pool is amazing and the pool and restaurant staff and excellent and went above and beyond to provide a high level of service. But when your check in process is horrible it puts a damper on everything
This property had to be the best in all Bali. The each is clean and beautiful. The resort is unbelievable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet unbelievable. Soo much variety. The gym is huge. Full commercial gym. Best I’ve seen in a hotel. The pools are great Highly recommended
When you pay you expect service with enthusiastic and hope they explain everything but check in was not very welcoming i think they were more interested in wedding party than every day customers. All staff look tired and they didn't even said when where or what time is breakfast and nothing in the room that we can read and find out. No Bathrobes in the rooms toiletries are not nice at all looks basics. Towels looks old and time to change for new.water was free that is plus point but basics hotel provide soft drink in minibar freeze free but nothing from this hotel .when we went for breakfast we had to wait in queue and than lady took people from front of us and untill she don't finish with them we had to wait outside untill they dsay we can seat after that breais not good compare to other 5star hotel again they only interested in Asian food .other breakfast is not good at all ,fresh fruit juice been in plastic containers and when we ask they gave us from there in very small glasses. For breakfast they don't even have granola that we can make our own bowl.they had small ready granola in like small wine glass .for cereal they had plastic bowand that even don't look nice .I was very exited to stay in this hotel but very disappointing. We had dinner in restaurant and food was average. I would not stay there again and don't recommend to my friends and family.
Amazing!!! Food, rooms, facilities and exceptional customer service! 🙌
Very good service. Everything was clean and tidy. I love Bali and I will definitely come back here. The infrastructure of this resort is amazing. Beautiful views and pools.
Absolutely lovely property. Many restaurant choices, numerous pool options, beach stunning. Staff amazing! Had a wonderful time!
Absolutely beautiful and luxurious!
Staff was friendly, professional and courteous beyond expectations. Service was excellent at all times. My vacation at the Mulia Resort was a memorable holiday
Our stay at the Mulia Villas was relaxing and enjoyable. The Villa exceeded expectations & was a comfortable & relaxing space to spend time in. The resort offered many dining, drinking, swimming & relaxing spaces to enjoy. The treatments at the spa were wonderful. The staff in all areas were welcoming, polite, friendly and very accommodating. Especially enjoyed the Living Room. This was a truly relaxing holiday with no real need to leave the resort. Looking forward to returning there again.
Room was average For the money we paid we would have expected a pod coffee machine rather than a plastic white kettle Toiletries were of poor quality, the shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel like straw No bathrobes in rooms The pools were very warm , felt like spas and weren’t a comfortable temperature to cool down Otherwise mulia was very well kept And a lovely resort
We have never stayed in Nusa Dua before and our stay at the Mulia was next level. Staff so friendly and nothing too much of a problem.
The resort is absolutely beautiful
I first stayed at the Mulia ten years ago and it was outstanding then. Fast forward 10 years and it is still magnificent the best hotel in Bali. However I do believe that a few mini things need to be addressed. Firstly We we’re celebrating our engagement in Soleil restaurant, food was great but service not so good. We hadn’t finished our entree when out came the main meal. I said we need 15 minutes and they gave us 3 minutes. The second was we walked into the bottom area of the hotel that looks over the beach. When I asked a waitress can we have a table for a afternoon drink I was informed that we are not allowed in that area of the hotel and we must leave now. It wasn’t a nice start on our first day at the Mulia. The rest of the stay outstanding.
Pillows were too soft for our liking. Apart from that it was excellent
Absolutely stunning resort. Breakfast beyond delicious, pools warm and inviting, beach immaculate
Excellent staff service. Picture perfect resort. Reasonable prices for decent food and drinks Rooms were clean and well designed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful at all levels. Location is perfect with great pools and facilities. Highly recommend. I will be coming back in the future
I’ve been to a few resorts around the world, but this one is by far the best. Clean, quiet, approachable and welcoming staff, and beautiful beaches. Excellent choice of food around the clock.
Has to work on better service during breakfast especially when the hotel has high occupancy as people waited in queues in the mornings just for a table and their restaurant manager was very rude when we raised this to him, telling us that we should come at opening time so as to get a breakfast table if we don’t want to wait, rather then being courteous and trying to figure out a ln easier process to avoid people waiting, he opted to give his personal suggestion.
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Pools were great, breakfast very good and restaurants were really good also
Loved our stay. Staff are exceptional.
Very nice Resort in Nusa Dua. Well maintained. Exceptional staff service. Food was great at the various restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mulia Resort.
Do not book through Expedia. Poor communication, no confirmation of booking requst. Booked and paid for King size bed. Got two single beds. Best to book directly with resort.
No lift on 7th floor at beach end had to use stairs with bad knee. Need face washers in bathroom No bath robes Lack of ambience and outdoor dining on beach like Hyatt etc
Great pools and food options, lovely staff, good for kids.
We came to the Mulia for our honeymoon. The hotel is nice however far too big and lacks a bit of atmosphere or finesse. Wouldn’t recommend for couple on their honeymoon. Good options for food in evenings though
The resort was beauriful. The only negative for me was not enough light in the bsthroom.
Excellent luxury accommodation on the beach, modern , well maintained, great food and attentive staff.
Fantastic all round, very worthwhile!
Excellent service by professional staff. Very nice resort with beautiful landscape
Amazing holiday! Thank you everyone.
The resort is too big and not enough employees; the staff aren’t too friendly. At the end of the stay, they don’t even bother asking how was our stay there, they just straight to the bill.
The Mulia Hotel was a great place to relax and unwind. It was spacious and well staffed to cater to the needs of the guests The buffet breakfast and restaurant Soleil were excellent
Amazing ! Always our fave resort hotel.
7 pools 8 restaurants good beach good poolbar
Family friendly and plenty of amenities. Amazing staff and overall quality
Too vast
Fantastic amazing hotel, the resort is stunning, the customer service and staff are 10/10. Exceptional service and food is amazing.
Did not like this resort at all. Catering to the Korean and Chinese markets. Breakfast and breakfast staff were good. Most other staff were rude but we did notice that a lot of guests were rude to the staff so we can see why. Nearly 2 hours standing in a line just to check out was not good enough. Thank goodness we didnt have a plane to catch! Expensive and WAY over rated. The worst thing was the room noise. The worst we have experienced and kept 2 adults and 2 children awake most nights hearing people above and in the hallway. Never again.
For what you pay, the service was extremely average. Forgetting orders, general friendliness of staff was terrible, the bar staff especially are rude and almost came across snobby. I won’t be staying here again, the food was WAY over priced with 95000 IDR Bintangs and minimum 1.5M IDR dinners per head on average unless you eat gorengs etc.
Top beach resort I’ve ever stayed in. Superb customer service above all - the rooms, food choices, beach, pools, huge resort layout, staff were all amazing! I feel truly blessed to have stayed there as a family.
The hotel Is beautiful. The staff are amiable and hopeful. They always asked if we were having a good time. The restaurants are great too. The only thing I find is the room lighting is too dark. It needs more light to be bright up the room.
This is generally a great property to stay in. Good sized rooms. Great pool, gym and shopping facilities on site. The beach is right by the pool. Staff are friendly. However, it has one major drawback in my opinion, which it could easily resolve. Having stayed here twice now, once in 2018 and again in September 2022, my only grievance with this hotel, and one which is significant enough to sully the overall experience, is the terrible breakfast service. I would have expected this to have improved in the course of four years, but it has become worse - the egg station is chaotic and good luck getting what you order there, the selections in other sections don't seem to complement each other, and can be quite bland. The best coffee selections are hidden in a station that isn't particularly obvious. But worst of all, there are usually reasonably long queues to get into the breakfast area, anytime after roughly 7.30am it seems. This is a big hotel and the breakfast area, while reasonably large, is not sufficient for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. This aside, Mulia is otherwise a very pleasant place to stay. I just hope the breakfast service improves for my next visit.
No iron and ironing board provided, long wait to check in
Wonderful family resort. Service and facilities are exceptional
A superb place to stay in Bali.
The facility was wonderful… The grounds were immaculate… Absolutely beautiful… The food was well Prepared… And delicious
Service was amazing. However, there was a musty smell in our room so we had to change rooms. It was extremely empty due to the pandemic... too empty.
This was our first "staycay" at the Mulia and as we travel quite regularly it was a very much needed break after almost 3months of no flights out of Bali. Our first impressions of The Mulia was the grandeur and beautiful grounds, we can clearly see why it has been so highly rated over the years. We stayed in the Royal Suite and the room was extremely clean and well-appointed with ample space. Food quality was very good & refined, after staying in various 5 & 6-star hotels around the world we occasionally find the food being the letdown at these types of hotels, this was not the case at all! We were very impressed given we are in a pandemic where the hotel was practically empty The Mulia has not let the food quality standard slip (Bravo to the F&B team) Our only slight critique was the general experience we had at the beach bar, we still had a great time and recommend this hotel however I will write to management personally on some aspects they can further improve. We still highly recommend this hotel & looking forward to our next trip back! Thank you for a great time.
This ultra luxury tropical place is paradise in heaven !! Probably the most beautiful hotel resort in the world !!!
Loved it.. true comfort
Room upgrade to celebrate special occassion with great customer service and kid's club for families. The breakfast buffet was ordinary for this class of resort but soleil restaurant was superb.
Great hotel and fabulous staff and service, it is expensive but worth the extra cost. Lagoon access room worth paying extra for, they just need to put sun lounges on the outdoor area instead of chairs. If you are elderly do not consider these rooms, getting in and out of the pool is difficult, though they could put a railing in. Tiles on the outside area are deadly when wet, I’d be surprised if they have not had a serious injury, they need to fix this as duty of care, a warning sign is not sufficient! Food is excellent, wonderful breakfast.
Everything was amazing and was the best Resort in Bali - Nusa dua
The Service is the worst that my family and I had experienced
Restaurants are good. Instructions of facilities are not clear.
Great hotel. Best have ever stayed. Best food and service
They say “your people are a company’s best asset” Very true for the Mulia. The place is amazing from the gardens to the food to the ammenities. Has to be the best in Bali.
Secure, clean fresh outlook, staff friendly and polite, would of liked a more detailed map and information of their facilities and services, what they served there, example breakfast, lunch dinner and where to find them. Otherwise just beautiful
mulia resort is the most amazing resort i have ever stayed in
Amazing property! Every interaction I had with a staff member was fabulous and they always went out of their way to ask how you were doing and if they could get you anything.
