There were some technical issues with the room that took a while to fix. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

We loved the property and quality of food. But breakfast is expensive. The hotel itself is beautiful.

The huge building construction and noise was really bad. Could hear and see it from all the pools and beach. Wish we knew it before.

Beautiful modern architecture including impressive entrance (wonderful smell!), huge rooms (we stayed on 4th floor of Chechen/no.8 building), efficient buggy service, fantastically equipped gym, great quality food (breakfast and adult only restaurant on the beach our favourites), housekeeping excellent, friendly staff, really well maintained grounds.

1) Huge building site right next to the two pools - loud noise throughout the day. Will probably be months before they finish as multistorey hotel being built. Would have been a deal breaker had we known before booking. No acknowledgement from hotel though, could at least offer a free drink to guests at the pool as an apology for the inconvenience? 2) This is not the property to go to if you want to enjoy the beach. Side closest to the main building - entrance almost swamp like, unpleasant. That is why hotel shows photos of SUPs and canoes (free to use) because one cannot swim there at all. Side where adult pool is better but kids not allowed there and noise from building site is awful. 3) Appreciate that this is a premium property but prices for soft drinks are silly, USD 15 for large bottle of water, same for a coconut. We would have stayed in the resort more, including for dinner if we didn't feel like we were fleeced for money at every opportunity. Easy to get an Uber (choose local taxis which are cheap) and ride into town to eat at some fantastic restaurants: Porfirio's and Harry's Stekhouse were our favourites. Suggestions: For hotel in this price category would have expected pools to be cooled as really unpleasant late afternoon and in absense of sea alternative. Disappointing to see plastic bottles served in hotel. Real opportunity to be more eco aware. Hotel sits next to mangrove ecological park - why not organise hotel trips with a resident biologist to try to locate local wildlife?

The rooms were some of the best. They do turn down service. The food was fantastic. The property was gorgeous - jaw droppingly. They have these trees in the middle of a flat lake, large bowls of fire, edge pool. It’s seriously nice.

The lobby has no AC. They have these golf carts that drive you around - but I just walk (it’s hot it’s July) because there never is any - especially at the lobby. It’s not for active people - there’s no gym class - no pool volleyball - no cool thing like efoiling

Almohada se puede mejorar , las persona eléctrica rechinan , les falta grasa o aceite al mecanismo eléctrico ! En la última noche las área pública llegaron a las 10 pm tocando la puerta y decir si necesitamos toallas , muy mal eso !

Grave el tema del ruido de la construcción, si yo uniera sabido que era así de verdad no hubiera ido, el tema de la playa también muy muy complicado, de un lado la arena parecía pantano y del otro el mar se ponía café. El servicio los empleados de verdad lo máximo en la vida.

Beautiful rooms.

There is basically no beach. It’s very small, rocky and murky colored water that is rocky and not conducive to swimming. It is also in an inlet so there is no breeze whatsoever in the small beach area even if you want to try to use the beach.

There was construction happening the entire time of my staff. It was awful. Extremely loud. The hotel never disclosed this before booking. Ruined the entire weekend. I would not recommend coming back just based off that

The property itself is truly beautiful, in line with the environment, and so are the surroundings of mangroves and lush tropical vegetation. The food at all the restaurants is exceptional - but mind you - so are the prices. The staff are absolutely wonderful - polite, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They will go out of their way to help with whatever needs or issues you may have. I have to single out two names, The Chief Concierge Rodrigo, and the lovely Fernanda. Excellence is not a good enough word to describe either of them - their professionalism and care exceed the limits of the word.

The beach is, sadly, not an asset to the property. The water is very dark and uninviting due to a large amount of seagrass on the bottom. Seaweed is also present. In addition to this, there’s a lot of construction right next to the Nizuc - a huge Ritz Carlton is being built there and they are known for extremely poor environmental practices. Not a good neighbour for the Nizuc.

Everything was great we will definitely come back. We went to relax and we got that overall. I would recommend coming here.

Magnifique complexe hôtelier dans lequel il règne une atmosphère zen qui invite à la détente ! Les chambres sont splendides et très grandes . Nous reviendrons sans hésiter .

Structure and aesthetics: The hotel is truly beautiful, luxurious, and of a high standard. Everything is well-maintained and extremely "Instagrammable," with impeccable architecture and ambiance. Punctual service (some teams): A positive highlight goes to the housekeepers, the A-Kan Bar team, and the shuttle cart staff, all very kind, polite, and helpful, with a demeanor much more in line with the expected standard of a hotel of this level.

Reception Service (main issue): The reception service was extremely disappointing. The staff showed a somewhat arrogant attitude, lacked empathy, and demonstrated little interest in resolving issues caused by the hotel itself. Summary of what happened: At check-in, we were not properly informed about the need to leave a deposit. When I asked if we could settle everything at the end of the stay using debit (to avoid fees), I was told yes. However, at dinner, we were unexpectedly required to pay immediately. Since it was already late at night in Brazil, we couldn’t make transfers and were forced to pay by credit card, incurring high fees. Later, the reception told us it would be possible to reverse the charge and adjust the payment method — but the next day they changed their position and said it was no longer possible. This lack of consistency, transparency, and problem-solving significantly impacted our experience right from the first day. Gastronomy far below expectations: For a hotel of this standard and price, the food was a major disappointment. Steakhouse: flavorless meat, overcooked rice, and a very average mashed potato. (very expensive for what it delivers) Italian restaurant: risotto that resembled a soup, far below expectations. (we complained to the waiter, but only received apologies, which doesn’t solve the issue) Breakfast: only good on Sunday; on the other days, it did not seem to maintain the same standard. Only positive point: the burger at Bar A-Kan. We came from hotels like Nômade in Holbox with a much better dining experience, which makes it even harder to understand the level delivered by Nizuc. Excessive and inconsistent charges at breakfast (which is included in the rate): Being charged for a cappuccino and a latte within the resort was completely out of standard.

The sea is very shallow so you can’t sea swim unless going far out and some natural seaweed you can’t help in Mexico

Como yo fui en semana santa se tenía que reservar para cenar en los rest. Y varios días no alcancé disponibilidad Pero si regreso a Cancún sin duda vuelvo a hospedarme en este hotel

We had a few issues in our room, leaking from the ceiling and water running on ceiling. Was promptly fixed but a bit disappointing

The restaurants wouldn't charge my room and insisted that I pay on the spot. They also didn't automatically include the discount I had in my package. This is a minor thing but it was enough for me to decide to dine out for the most part of my stay and it left an aftertaste

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at... and I've stayed at some really nice hotels. The serivce was the best ever, very genuine and couldn't have asked for more. The complex itself is unreal, with pure and isolated beaches, spa and nice big infinity pool with bars. The restaurants were top quality. You dont need and dont want to leave the premises of the complex, its that good. Spa was excellent too, one of the best massages I've ever received. Room was large and clean, the cleaning staff were doing amazing job every day. Worth every penny.

Nizuc is the best resort in Cancun. Ultimate luxury. We had a penthouse with 2 balconies including a huge private patio and private pool and it was divine. They heated up our private pool each night and it felt warm like a bath for us. The staff was amazing and kind, our butler Javier went above and beyond to make our stay perfect- including special errands for us. Housekeeping comes twice a day. They have 4 restaurants which are all delicious. This is the perfect date spot or would also be good for a chill girls trip. The resort is huge with multiple pools (2 that allows kids and 1 that is adults only). There were always pool chairs or cabanas available. Nizuc made for the perfect vacation.

O hotel esta localizado em uma area linda em meio a natureza, com uma arquitetura impressionante. As piscinas são super convidativas e o serviço de bar, onde nos atenderam o Benito, o Angel e o Javier foi espetacular. Possui vários restaurantes, conseguimos visitar o Ramona e o Terranostra e gostamos muito. O café da manha é super variado e a academia é super completa com aparelhos tecnológicos.

A praia tem agua cristalina, mas com bastante algas.

Outstanding service and comfort. Elegant design and decoration. The food was also very good. We spent most of our time at the pool, which is very cool. All in all you feel like the main character of a James Bond film when staying at Nizuc.

I guess it is just a matter of not being used to it. The space is extremely surveilled, and staff keep track of where you are at each moment (I guess this allows them to provide excellent service, i.e. clean the room when you’re not there, have a golf cart ready when you leave the restaurant, know your name the moment you walk into the building, etc.). It can feel a little too much at times. However, everyone really tries very hard to make you feel special, so this is not a complaint, just an observation. If money plays no role, and you don’t want to worry about absolutely anything, then this is your place.

The property is well kept and well designed! You feel like you are in a Cancun oasis here! Absolutely stunning. We had the best and most helpful team from the time we were picked up, checked in and dropped back off to the hotel. Since this not all inclusive, there are items you have to request like transportation but once you do, it’s A+! They work hard to accommodate everything you need! Even room service was a five star experience!

Just an overall wonderful facility with great food and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet was exceptional.

The only negative was the wedding group that arrived Friday-Sunday. Not the resort’s fault. But they were loud and somewhat obnoxious. Had they been there all week, I think we would have been unhappy overall with the experience.

This is a first class hotel and TRUE 5 star. No comparison to other hotels in Cancun . From the first minute to the last minute of a week’s stay the hotel was perfect . The staff are so well trailed, pathing is too much for them .

You pay heavily for the quality of this hotel, so important to understand this before going . I was willing to pay for the quality room, fabulous restaurants and the outstanding service , but The costs of a massage at $500 for 90 minute relaxing was far too much so i declined

I like that this is a midsize hotel among monsters in Cancun. It’s close to the airport and feels luxurious.

I wish there were more dining options within the Mexican or Spanish food realm. I also came with my kids and there weren’t many options for dinner there either.

The fruit was amazingly tasty and the huevos something or other on the menu was sooooo good

Not a single hand rail in the entire resort. I have balance issues so it was difficult to get around. About impossible to get in and out of pools. Complete strangers were helping me, so very kind.

I like the big and tall ceilings. Welcome drink at check-in. Very clean: room service twice a day. Friendly And helpful staffs Warm pools Kids club is like a day care for your child while you get a spa or do your own things. Free paddle boarding.

It’s far away from everything. Non-Inclusive. Foods are expensive. $200+ for a family of 4. Beach is not as green but the wave is not as strong. Have to use the golf cart to get to the pool and restaurant. Near the river so mosquitoes are a lot.
