The staff were excellent. The facilities were great and everything was kept very clean.

We had a great stay. Unit was super spacious ( we had the biggest room). The pools were clean, the under pool was an additional perk. The breakfast was fantastic.

Walking through the garage to the pool was strange but we got used to that

La habitación (Estudio) tenía un solo armario q a la vez hacia de escobero. Estuvimos de lunes a domingo y solo vinieron a limpiar el jueves.

Centralt och mycket välutrustad lägenhet med fin utsikt. Stort och gott om plats. Fina blommor och växtlighet. Nära supermarket och trevliga restauranger. Sköna sängar. Trevligt med vatten, några expressokapslar och mjölk i kylskåpet utan kostnad vid ankomst.

Dåligt städat vid ankomst, glassplitter på golvet som jag trampade på. Städpersonalen kom direkt och städade och bad om ursäkt, men vi fick ingen kompensation trots att det orsakade besvär för oss. Personal vid frukosten och poolen var sura, stressade och man kände inte alls sig välkommen. God frukost, speciellt pannkakorna och satt man utomhus så slapp man den extremt höga ljudnivån i frukostmatsalen. Maten vid poolbaren var undermålig, bestod bara av halvfabrikat. Varför? Förtar hela upplevelsen när det serveras så dålig mat av trött, oengagerad personal.

The property is a short walk from the beach and the restaurants. There are 3 pools which are all nice and clean as well as the baby pool. The pool bar food and drink is great.

No limpiaron en los días que estuvimos supongo que porque es apartamento. Dejábamos la etiqueta para la limpieza pero no iban. Por lo demás todo perfecto. Limpio, amplio y muy cómodo. Repetiría y lo recomendaría

the complex has an adult only swimming pool and it also has a no saving sunbeds policy but the people who visit estrela tend not to be the type of people who reserve sunbeds all day and it was spotlessly clean

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was nothing that was missing in the apartment (the washing machine was really comfortable to do our laundry on the spot during our holiday). You could hear the wind swaying in the palms in the mornings and evenings, which was calming and relaxing. Breakfasts were very tasty.

The superior apartment was great, spacious, cool and well equipped. The balcony was small and not really worthy sitting out in. We could see the sea though which is always a treat. Breakfast was great, fresh food, good choices and great service. The pool area for adults was very nice, clean and not much sunbed saving. Spa pool and jacuzzi were good and shower area was really good pre travelling home. Praia da Luz was a fabulous holiday destination, great food, warm and welcoming resort.

Not so much a dislike but would have liked to know more about when room servicing was to be, we had twice in 10 days. Serving was in the afternoon. Pool towels only changed at charge of €4,

Apartment was amazing! Fully fitted kitchen and a huge balcony with table and loungers. Air conditioning was fantastic and the cleaning was excellent. The apartment was modern and the decor was calm and well designed. The pool always had a place for us to relax and the breakfast were excellent! Location wise you are sitting right in the quiet town of Luz. An incredible holiday experience.

Only minor point is that the Wi-fi was not strong and often lost connection.

Az apartmanunk csodás volt. Tágas, szép, nagyon jól felszerelt. A hotel maga és a kertje is lenyűgöző. Bolt, éttermek, gyönyörű strand könnyű sétával elérhető. Hatalmas mélygarázs, automata autó töltési lehetőség , sok felszíni parkoló. A konditermet és a medencéket szerették a gyerekek. Sokat kirándultunk, csodás helyek elérhetók kevesebb, mint 1 óra autózással. A reggeli finom volt, de 7 napig minden reggel ugyanaz. Nekünk szokatlan volt, hogy nincs friss zöldég. A gyümölcsök persze kárpótoltak🙂 Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, köszönjük.

Positiv waren das Appartment und der breite Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage.

Die Gäste waren vorrangig aus England mit Kleinkindern, die ständig extremen Lärm gemacht haben und Unruhe verbreitet haben. Das mag ja in England normal sein, aber ein bisschen Rücksicht auf andere Gäste zu nehmen, sollte eigentlich selbstverständlich sein. Der General Manager, Bruno meinte nur, dass dies ein Familienhotel und normal sei. Das ist es aber nicht! In Restaurants dort mit einheimischen Familien war dies wesentlich angenehmer und entspannter. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig aber qualitativ schlecht. Deshalb haben wir es dann auch ausgelassen.

Lovely clean rooms and facilities, pool was great and the added bonus of an indoor one.

Het appartement zelf was top! Ontzettend fijn dat de auto veilig in de garage kon staan.

Het ontbijt was echt heel erg simpel en sober. Dat ze er 17 euro voor durven te vragen is bizar. De ligbedden bij het zwembad zijn aan vervanging toe. Bed was naar onze smaak veel te hard. Dat er geen dagelijkse schoonmaak is vonden wij prima, maar het niet vaker verstrekken van verse handdoeken is - zeker met de hoge temperaturen - niet ok.

The apartment was really big, with plenty of room for 2 of us. It had all the amenities you'd need, although we didn't use very much as we were out most of the time. The staff were really friendly. We particularly liked Rui, the bar manager (and his Rui Special cockatails). We were close to the beach, supermarket, restaurants and shops. The complex was clean and felt really safe. There was plenty of room around the pools. Given there were 17 of us, it was great to be able to easily grab sunbeds. All in all, we had a lovely stay.

There is nothing negative to feedback on our stay. I recommend checking the room for damage, reporting anything to staff and taking photos. We were almost charged for damage we didn't cause, but the manager was really helpful and we did receive our refunded deposit.

Os quartos sao bem amplos e equipados com tudo que precisamos. A recepção é calorosa e simpática demais! Eu amei.

Чисто и комфортно, два бассейна на территории + 1 с подогревом, в номере есть все необходимое и даже больше, очень помогла стиральная машина . Привет заезде берут депозит 250 евро, надеюсь вернут )))

La hora del chek out exageradamente temprano. A las 10,00 am, en domingo…uno va a descansar un fin de semana y no es posible. Nos llamaron por teléfono la tarde de antes para preguntarnos a que hora nos ibamos, nunca nos ha pasado eso. Les dijimos que sobre las 11.00 y nos dijeron que no, que a las 10. La habitación no es como la que habíamos elegido. Nos dieron un duplex con la habitación en la planta alta y la escalera es muy empinada y peligrosa. Arreglen la escalera y añadan dos peldaños mas (hagan un descansillo en la meseta), tiene fácil solución.

The resort is a great location, super friendly staff. Lovely apartment, well kitted out with everything we needed and even loungers on our balconies/ terraces. Choice of pools, facilities are clean, food is good and the pool bar was great. We visited as a group celebrating a hen and couldn’t recommend more. Fantastic value.

The bed wasn't the most comfy and the pillows were quite poor, but I'm just nit picking here. It was generally one of the best places I have stayed in.

Sehr gute Lage, tolle Anlage. Das Apartment war sehr schön und riesig, leider straßenseitig, die Apartments mit Blick auf den grünen Innenhof sind schöner. Das Frühstück war ausreichend mit viel Obst.

Check-out ist bereits um 10:00 Uhr, was schon recht früh ist. Aber das nimmt man ja in Kauf bei der Buchung. Wir haben am vorletzten Tag am Nachmittag einen Anruf von der Rezeption erhalten und wir wurden gefragt, wann wir am nächsten Tag auschecken würden, denn das Check-out sei bis 10:00 Uhr. Aber das wussten wir ja doch schon. Dieses unnötige Nachfragen hat uns den restlichen Tag ziemlich verdorben, sowas hatte ich noch in keinem anderen Hotel. Und hier zahlt man ja nicht gerade wenig, also fand ich dieses Verhalten völlig unangebracht. Wir werden nicht wieder hier buchen.

Sehr gute Lage, tolle Anlage, alles sehr schön gepflegt und ruhig. Die Wohnung ist groß und verfügt über alles, was man braucht, toll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirr, Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Pools as always were clean and clear as was the Jacuzzi. The staff in the restaurant went above and beyond at every level and should be highly commended for their customer service. The room layout was superb and we preferred this layout to our previous one as the kitchen being in the living area was much more preferable.

The tiles on the corner verandah was heavily covered in bird excrement which I cleaned every day, from the first day. Housekeeping did not seem to touch this area. We experience a rather dramatic flooding of the apartment which I reported to reception and myself and my husband were actually cleaning it up when the housekeeping staff arrived. With no apparent understanding of english we were unclear what to do and left the apartment (after speaking with the Maintenance Manager) but we both felt that the Reception staff could have been more helpful AND could have followed up with us afterwards. As a person who worked in a Hotel & Country Club I would never have expected guests to clean up, anywhere.

Do espaço em geral do hotel, da cozinha muito bem equipada.

A cama é 1.40 m de largura, prefería que tivesse 1.60m. A disposição do quarto. A TV não se consegue aumentar ou diminuir o som, tem 2 comandos mas não é fácil. Na chegada acho que a recepção não explica muito. Tivemos de ser nós a perguntar os horários.

We really enjoyed the location, the breakfast restaurant and the resort environment. The kitchen appliance facility is really good, I found it has everything we needed. It even provide a sandwich/lunch container for our hiking trip use which is great for supporting sustainable environment with less waste. As well, enjoyed the size of our suite, it made us feel at home. Our daily breakfast service experience was also very good, it really made morning easier before our daily outing activity. Our server provided us great friendly service and provided great tips for enjoying Algarve local experience. The resort location is not too far from the beach, we enjoyed watching sunset there. We also did a roundtrip day hike trail from Luz to Piedade, starting from the resort, very nice scenic trail. Highly recommended to anyone interesting hiking. Most of people stayed at this resort are retirees which makes our stay really peaceful.

Staff were all excellent, we do feel the property should be refurbishing the bathrooms and putting some walk in showers. We did request a walk in shower but had 2 bathrooms both with showers over the bath leaving little room for getting in and out.

The bathrooms our apartment needed another handrail for the stairs they were steep. There was no full length mirror in the apartment. Also a simple item of no tin opener one was brought to the apartment but didn’t work. There needs to be a ramp near the entrance for help with your suit cases the steps are difficult with heavy cases.

Beautiful modern apartment with everything we needed. Really spacious and comfortable. Secure parking with our own space. Lovely quiet pool area with a bar serving drinks and snacks. Friendly staff who were welcoming and accommodating. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. We absolutely loved staying here! Perfect end to a Portugal road trip and by far the best place we stayed in Portugal.

The bar doesn’t open until midday so stock up on drinks/snacks!

apartment was good ubtill bedtime. Apartment block e 3c. The apparment next door were owners who i think slept all day but as soon as you went to bed..there telly was blaring the guy kept coffing all night they kept on moving chairs..do not book this apartment i it's not nice to hear that every night The jacuzzi dud not work when it dud it was freezing. After breakfast u had to leave the resort to get anything to eat..no bar food at all by the pool. The gym was dated. .

Love everything about Estrela da Luz!

The aprtment had a view of the sea. It was spacious and well-equipped with self-catering facilities. It had 2 larger pools, a spa, a gym, and an on-site restaurant. It was within a short walk of the apartment to the beach, bus stop, shops, walks and restaurants/bars. Apartments accessible by stairs or lifts.

We liked everything! We loved the resort, we loved the apartment, and we enjoyed a perfect balance of all positives of being in the resort and no negatives whatsoever! The space wasn't crowded despite the fact we were there in the time of high season, the place was divided into kids and family area and the adults area which gave everyone what they were looking for! I loved the fact they were using salt instead of chlorine in the pools! There were always free spaces at the pool! The breakfast was absolutely divine provided by the best service ! They made us feel looked after and cared for!

Apartment was very good. Very well equipped and clean. Security was superb. Pools were nice. Short walking distance to town … uphill on way back but not too hard. The breakfast was lovely and the man in charge of restaurant was really friendly and warm. Staff at reception were very courteous… really nice and helpful. Spa brochure seemed reasonable but didn’t have time to try it out.

It was difficult to find reception. When we arrived at 2.40ish there was nowhere in hotel resort to buy a snack to eat for lunch. There was a pool bar but it didn’t sell food as we were told it was the end of the season end of September. The pool bar guy appeared to be a bit abrupt when we enquired about bar food. The pool bar was shut on Tuesdays our 2nd day which unfortunately was the only full day we had there. The hotel served breakfast only. The bed itself was disappointing as was a double so we were a bit squashed and had assumed it would be king or queen size which possibly was down to our assumptions. The jacuzzi was broken sadly.

Great room, lots of space we'll fitted kitchen furniture and bathroom,free underground parking with lift access really good breakfast.
