Bidadari Private Villas & Retreat

This was our second visit to the Bidadari and this place is as stunning as ever. Such attentive staff, that make you feel right at home, once again I just wished we stayed longer. If you choose to stay here, ensure you book the private dinner or chef BBQ, the food is incredible. My wife is already planning our next trip back!

The breakfast served floating in our private pool was an unforgettable experience fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Enjoying a floating breakfast in the privacy of our own pool made every morning feel like a luxury retreat.

It is so beautiful- the vila itself id built with great care for aesthetics- everywhere you look it is wonderful. Staff is so welcoming and pleasant and take care of every detail. This is an experience one should have at least once in its life.

The service is beyond anyone expectations. Beginning with warm welcome, taking care of us for the entire day - those things made us feel like we were at home, not a hotel. Such an amazing people working at this place.

The environment was excellent—very quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. The service was attentive and the staff were always willing to meet our needs. The breakfast was generous and had a great variety.

The only downside was that there is some construction nearby, so there was some noise in the morning, although thankfully it was not noticeable inside the room. I also felt that the afternoon tea could be a little more generous. The Wi-Fi was consistently quite slow, but the staff were aware of the issue and said they would look into it.

The villa was very comfortable, spacious and enjoyable with everything you could need when you’re there Having everything brought to the room whether it be drinks, food or spa services made the whole stay so relaxing. The view of the jungle from the pool was beautiful. The spa services were also very good. The shuttle into Ubud was very convenient. Above all, the staff were lovely - courteous, friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the construction going on across from the villa on the opposite side of the jungle view. It didn’t impact us too much and is not the fault of the property. Hopefully it will be better when those buildings are complete.

Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Besonders gefallen haben uns die wunderschöne, gepflegte Anlage, unsere saubere und komfortable Villa, der tolle Pool sowie die hervorragende Massage und das leckere Essen. Die ruhige Atmosphäre und der persönliche Service haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht.

Ehrlich gesagt gab es für uns nichts, was uns wirklich nicht gefallen hat. Unser Aufenthalt war von Anfang bis Ende rundum gelungen und wir haben uns jederzeit sehr wohl und bestens umsorgt gefühlt.

Malheureusement, le chantier juste en face et le bruit que ça engendre …

On a pas beaucoup apprécié l'amabilité du personnel et leur volonté de faire en sorte que notre séjour se passe le mieux possible. Le petit déjeuner était directement servi dans notre chambre, à l'heure demandée et il était bon.

Le seul éventuel point négatif était la localisation (et encore) mais ils y remédient en proposant un aller retour gratuit en ville par jour donc ce n'est pas dérangeant. La piscine de notre chambre était froide, dommage.

A "perfect moment" ! Superbe villa, très bien aménagée et décorée. Le personnel est aux petits soins, les repas servis directement à la villa sont bons. La piscine à débordement permet de se remettre de la chaleur de la journée. Une très belle prestation. Merci à toute l'équipe pour leur gentillesse et bienveillance.

I love the location right in the middle of the forest. It is extremely peaceful and beautiful. The staff are super friendly. The food is fantastic and i love the private pool and the accommodation is intriguing, open plan Balinese style

The property is absolutely beautiful! Located right on the edge of the gorge and full of lush plants. The staff is very attentive and friendly!

Tout est parfait, l’accueil, le personnel est adorable, les lieux sont magnifiques. La villa est immense avec un étage pour le séjour. C’est reposant et calme. Merci à Junaedi le manager il est toujours aux petits soins. Merci aussi à WID notre chauffeur il est super gentil. Les femmes de la réception sont très professionnelles et très réactives à nos demandes. Je recommande cet endroit, allez y vous allez adorer. L’équipe nous a offert une tenue traditionnelle pour la fin de notre séjour car nous y sommes restés 5 jours. Les repas (dîner et petit déjeuner) sont délicieux également. Concernant le logement, la literie était agréable et la villa parfaitement équipée.

Very friendly, attentive and professional staff who attended to every need, from a delicious gluten free afternoon tea to organising a barbecue with flowers. Service was flawless and more than we could ask for. The presidential villa with pool was beautiful and the massages excellent. Breakfast abundant. Shuttle to Ubud. Location: in a quiet street facing the green forest.

Absolutely everything. The facilities are so beautiful. The Villa was big and really special. The staff were so attentive and nice.

The TV remote was giving me some problems. But maybe I shouldn’t have been watching TV in such a beautiful place. Everything else was phenomenal.

Krásna lokalita uprostred prírody, pokojná atmosféra a nádherné výhľady. Vila bola čistá, priestranná a veľmi štýlovo zariadená. Personál bol mimoriadne ochotný, priateľský a vždy pripravený pomôcť. Bazén aj celé okolie boli perfektne udržiavané. Pobyt úplne splnil naše očakávania a radi by sme sa sem vrátili.

Nemáme žiadne výhrady. Všetko bolo na vysokej úrovni.

If you’re planning to visit Ubud, you absolutely have to stay at Bidadari. This resort is filled with wonderful people who are incredibly kind, welcoming, and highly professional. The villas are spacious and offer breathtaking views, while the food and service are outstanding. We spent our honeymoon here, and without a doubt, it was the best place we have ever stayed. Our entire stay was simply flawless and truly unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Ubud!

I don’t know where to start with rating this beautiful place! The staff are absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble, Widiantari is a credit to the team but every single member of staff deserves a mention. We felt like royalty and treated like king and queen. The daily breakfasts had so much choice, the romantic private BBQ with private chef is a must, the food is unreal and the happy hours cocktails were our favourite! The free shuttle to Ubud was great it was like having your own private chauffeur once a day. The villa was amazing and huge and the views were insane. I would recommend this place over and over and over again…we will be back!!!!!! 🙏🏼

Willa bardzo ładna z prywatnym basenem i widokiem na dżunglę. Śniadania są codziennie do wyboru poprzez aplikację, bardzo dobre, świeżo wyciskany sok, słodkie przekąski do wyboru kawa, herbata. My byliśmy 4 noce, codziennie możliwość dojazdu do centrum i powrót max o 22.00, darmową taksówką zamawianą przez recepcję. Otrzymaliśmy również darmowy masaż dla dwóch osób w SPA. W łazience widok na sadzawkę z rybami, żaby i jaszczurki - bardzo ładnie. Pokój codziennie sprzątany, świeże ręczniki.

This was our sixth visit to Ubud, and without any doubt, Bidadari Hotel is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. It truly feels like a little paradise on earth. The location in the middle of the jungle is absolutely breathtaking. The views are stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful, and everywhere you look there is beautiful nature surrounding you. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. As returning guests, we were surprised with a wonderful “Welcome Back Home” flower arrangement in our villa, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional staff. Every team member was friendly, professional, attentive, and always ready to help. No request was too much, and every wish was fulfilled quickly and with a smile. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. Our villa was simply fantastic. It was spacious, beautifully designed, very clean, and offered complete privacy. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. We also loved the complimentary shuttle service to Ubud, which can be arranged at your preferred time without being restricted to a fixed schedule. This flexibility was incredibly convenient. Another detail we really appreciated was the water dispenser in the villa, which meant we didn't have to constantly buy and carry bottled water. As returning guests, we were also treated to a complimentary Indonesian dinner menu, which was a wonderful surprise and a very generous gesture. There are only a few small suggestions that could make an already amazing experience even better. At breakfast, the selection is somewhat limited as guests must choose between a savory or a sweet option. It would be wonderful if there were more flexibility to combine both. The television in the villa is also quite small and positioned rather far away considering the size of the room. Finally, the villa area around the pool could benefit from a little more atmospheric lighting in the evening.

First of all, as someone who has stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, I can honestly say that the service was truly exceptional. The hotel makes you feel very special as a guest. In fact, I would say that the staff often think of their guests’ comfort even more than the guests themselves. The hotel was impeccably clean. The breakfast service was excellent, and all room service requests were delivered promptly. In the evenings, the staff would return to prepare the room for the night, which was a very thoughtful touch. They even lit mosquito-repellent incense, showing great attention to detail. The entire team was incredibly polite, professional, and friendly. The private villa pool was also wonderful and very enjoyable. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Free huge breakfast every morning , happy hour drinks at a great price if desired …delivered to our room! And any dinner or lunch delivered to our room at a crazy inexpensive price. they set up drivers & they set up outings. They were so eager to please us!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and genuinely loved every single moment of it. The villa itself was stunning — a spacious private two-floor villa surrounded by beautiful jungle views and peaceful nature. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and hearing the sounds of nature throughout the day made the whole experience feel magical. Every morning, breakfast was served directly to our room exactly at the time we requested. The food was absolutely delicious, with many different options to choose from, and the service was always perfectly organized and on time. The view was even more breathtaking than in the pictures. We also experienced the spa, and both the treatments and the spa location itself felt like paradise hidden inside the jungle. What truly made this place special was the staff. Every single member of the team was extremely warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They cleaned the room deeply every day and even came before the evening to place mosquito coils and carefully check the villa to ensure we were comfortable and protected from insects or small bugs due to the natural environment. That level of attention and hospitality impressed us a lot. We also rented a scooter directly from the hotel, which made exploring Ubud very easy and convenient. Room service was always fast and reliable as well. Before our arrival, they shared a thoughtful welcome gift with us, and when we were leaving, they gave us such a warm farewell and another small gift that honestly touched us emotionally. You can really feel that they care deeply about their guests. Highly recommended from the bottom of my heart — don’t even hesitate. If I ever come back to Bali, I would definitely stay here again without thinking twice.

Very minor point: since the villa is located in the middle of nature and surrounded by jungle, it’s normal to occasionally see small insects or geckos around the property. However, the staff was extremely attentive and proactive in managing this, making sure the villa stayed clean, comfortable, and enjoyable at all times

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in. The infinity pool and villa were amazing, and the view looking out into the jungle was unreal. It was so relaxing just sitting upstairs in the huge living area listening to all the jungle and animal sounds. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Ordering food and drinks was so easy with the QR code, and everything came really quickly. They send a butler to set the table up for us which was a really nice. Even though you’re right in the jungle, we didn’t have any mosquito bites. At night two staff came to mosquito-proof the bed which we appreciated. Breakfast was delicious as well and arrived on time. When we were leaving, we had a motorbike delivered and the staff noticed we were heading off and kindly gave us water for the journey. Would definitely stay here again, just for longer next time.

Traditional style Balinese villas. Our villa was exceptional. So spacious. The massage was wonderful with tropical sounds and river running adds to the ambiance. We had a fabulous trip with Chef Made and our lunch was amazing. Shuttle service was extremely kind and professional. Staff were friendly and highly professional.

The villa was out of the busy town centre but the villa supplied transport to the town which was great.

Like everywhere in Bali there is construction taking place nearby. This is of no fault to the villa, but the noise did detract from what would otherwise be a very peaceful location.

Everything from the incredibly friendly staff over the breathtaking views from our Villa to the very tasty and high quality food, made this trip one I will never forget. We also booked two day trips with the Hotel. Our Driver, Wid, was very nice, helpful and did everything to our satisfaction. We will definetly come back.

Excellent, attentive staff, beautiful location in Ubud and free transport service to Ubud centre as it is further out. Food was delicious as well - we loved ordering breakfast and room service! The spa services were excellent as well. Fell asleep a few times.

If you have mobility issues the steepness and amount of stairs to reach your villa will be difficult.

Absolutely incredible. Honestly, I don’t know how we got lucky enough to stay here. Of all the places available I’m so glad we chose this one. The rooms are stunning. The service impeccable. Fantastic value. Free shuttle round trip into town at time of your choosing is really helpful. Included breakfast is delightful. If you want something away from the main part of town with privacy and an exceptional experience, this is your permission to quit reading reviews and just book it.

That we have to leave. Honestly, I wish we had booked it another day. Now, I’m nervous we won’t like our next stay as much as this one!
