The hotel is beautiful, small and very cozy, with only five villas surrounding a lovely pool, beautiful gardens and plenty of trees. The atmosphere reminded us of a Japanese garden — very peaceful, calm and quiet. The room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view of the pool. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The atmosphere felt a little more like staying in someone’s private home than a hotel, with quite a strong focus on keeping everything perfectly tidy and quiet. At times, we felt a little watched, which made the experience less relaxed than expected, as I was reminded that leaving my towel by the pool looked “untidy”. The access is also worth mentioning: the hotel is at the end of an unpaved dirt road, so it was difficult to carry our rolling suitcases. We had to carry our luggage by hand to and from the hotel.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort. Perfekte Lage zum Hafen, nicht allzu weit nach Fisherman’s Village und zum Flughafen. Wir konnten früher einchecken, was wir als sehr toll empfunden haben. Gemütliches Bett und ein sauberes Zimmer und Badezimmer, die Einrichtung ist etwas älter aber das hat uns nicht gestört, da diese in einem sehr guten Zustand war.

El alojamiento está bien. Cuidado, bonito, cómodo. Es útil y cómodo si haces escala entre aeropuerto-ferry o viceversa.

Bangrak en sí no es muy bonito. Puerto, y carretera que cruza de lado a lado la zona. No recomendaría a alguien que va unos días a hacer turismo por koh samui, sí por lo mencionado en :) Luego, un tema importante que condiciona mucho nuestra valoración: Elegimos este lugar para poder descansar y desconectar en un sitio con pocas habitaciones y piscina. Cual fue nuestra sorpresa cuando a las 17:30 de la tarde fuimos a bañarnos y un señor (el propietario, imaginamos) nos dijo que la piscina cerraba a las 17h y que había puesto cloro, y por tanto no nos podíamos bañar. Nadie nos había informado sobre horarios de la piscina (habitualmente suelen ser hasta 8-9-10PM)

The Nest is a true little oasis on Koh Samui. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, everything is very clean and well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We were also very well looked after throughout our stay. The hospitality was warm, personal and genuinely caring, which made our time there even more enjoyable. We would definitely be very happy to return to The Nest on our next visit to Koh Samui. Highly recommended.

Destaco la limpieza del lugar: estaba IMPECABLE. El baño bien grande, una buena ducha (con puerta!! para mi eso es ya fuera de lo común en muchos hoteles y lo agradezco para que no se moje todo) La habitación es muy espaciosa. En general, cuenta con todo lo básico necesario para una estadía cómoda y práctica. También me pareció genial que aunque no pidiéramos el servicio de limpieza diario, aún así dejaban fuera de la habitación papel higiénico y 2 botellas de agua cada día!!

Tuvimos un malentendido con el encargado del hotel, el día que hicimos el check out le preguntamos a la chica de la limpieza (que era la única persona que estaba en ese momento) si podíamos dejar nuestras mochilas y volver a buscarlas más tarde. Ella las recibió y en ningún momento entendimos que nos dijera que teníamos que volver en un determinado horario. Al volver al hotel por la tarde, el encargado nos abrió la puerta y de bastante mala manera nos dijo que tendríamos que haber vuelto a las 16.30 porque luego la chica se retiraba y no quedaba nadie para abrirnos y darnos las mochilas. Dijo que nos había enviado mensajes, pero no teníamos internet así que no los pudimos ver mientras estuvimos fuera. Nos entregó las mochilas con mala onda y nos fuimos. Después, al ver sus mensajes, vimos que nos estaba diciendo que iba a dejar nuestras mochilas en la calle y que no se haría responsable de ellas… esto nos pareció muy mal de su parte!! Por suerte llegamos a tiempo y nos esperó para dárnoslas, pero honestamente no nos habíamos enterado de que se suponía que teníamos que volver antes, y el hombre solamente nos trató como unas desubicadas, siendo que había sido un problema de comunicación. Nosotras nos disculpamos de nuestra parte por el inconveniente, porque nos dijo que había tenido que ir él específicamente para eso, pero él no se hizo cargo de lo suyo ni se disculpó. Conviene aclarar mejor estas cosas porque suponíamos que como en la mayoría de los hoteles siempre hay alguien del personal dentro, no teníamos forma de saber lo contrario y no hubiésemos dejado nuestras cosas ahí si sabíamos cómo era la situación.

Charlie the owner waited to let me in as my plane was delayed by 90 mins. Thanks Charlie. The room was clean, everything worked making it an easy and convenient place to stay between Airport and ferries to Koh Phangan. Charlie arranged an airport pick up which worked out perfectly. IT also has a plunge pool that could be good to use if staying longer.

Arriving at night it seems a little out of the way - so, I was pleased that Charlie had waited to meet me. however, The Next is actually within 2 minutes walk of the main road at Bangrak.

This was a very special place with a warm and friendly owner who helped us with restaurant recommendations and any other questions we had. We stopped here for the night before going across to Koh Tao and it was right next to the pier.

Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Aufenthalt und würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die kleine Boutique-Anlage mit nur fünf Bungalows hat eine sehr angenehme, ruhige und familiäre Atmosphäre. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Lage in einer kleinen Seitenstraße, dadurch war es schön entspannt und nicht so laut wie direkt an der Hauptstraße. Die Lage ist insgesamt wirklich hervorragend: Viele Restaurants und Cafés, Massagesalons, Supermärkte und alles, was man sonst noch braucht, sind bequem fußläufig erreichbar. Mit dem Roller ist man außerdem in etwa 10 Minuten bei allem Weitere. Zudem haben wir uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt, da die Anlage nur mit Schlüssel zugänglich war. Der Hotelbesitzer war super freundlich, immer ansprechbar und sogar über WhatsApp schnell erreichbar. Bei Fragen oder Wünschen wurde direkt geholfen. Auch die Dame, die sich täglich um die Anlage gekümmert hat, war wirklich toll. Alles war immer sauber, egal ob Zimmer, Pool oder Außenbereich. Unser Bungalow wurde jeden Tag gereinigt, es gab frische Wasserflaschen und Poolhandtücher – solche kleinen Dinge machen den Aufenthalt einfach noch angenehmer. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert, was bei dem Wetter echt wichtig war. Besonders schön fanden wir auch die grüne, gepflegte Anlage. Der Pool ist übrigens größer, als er auf den Fotos wirkt, und perfekt zum Entspannen. Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

We Will Be Back ! An awesome little resort, set back up a side street In Bangrak. Only a 1 minute walk to the main road. A super location for everything Super comfy bungalow , spacious and with a small kitchen area. A small pool and lounge are on the grounds You can't beat the price for such a wonderful resort . Thank you for a fab stay .

What a hidden gem. We stayed one night as the location is very convenient between the pier and airport and wish we had booked for longer. Our hosts were so welcoming and the room was beautiful and clean.

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Lage. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants, Cafés und Möglichkeiten zur Unterhaltung, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Auch das Hotel selbst hat einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht. Alles war sehr sauber, und unser Zimmer war angenehm groß, sodass wir uns dort wirklich wohlfühlen konnten. Das Bett war ebenfalls bequem.

Leider gab es aber auch ein paar Punkte, die unseren Schlaf etwas beeinträchtigt haben. Das Kissen war für meinen Geschmack sehr hart, was ich als etwas unangenehm empfunden habe. Außerdem war das Zimmer nachts recht hell, sodass ich dadurch nicht besonders gut schlafen konnte.

We stayed here for one night on the way to Koh Phangan. The price was excellent! Very short walk to nice restaurants for dinner with a beautiful beach.

Wir hatten die Unterkunft für eine Nacht, da wir am nächsten Tag weitergereist sind. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir hatten ein tolles und sauberes Zimmer. Lage zum Pier ist gut.

Дуже зручне, гарно обладнане, чисте, доглянуте помешкання. Є все необхідне. Тихе місце. Близько до пляжу -150 м, аеропорту (3 км), пірсів на найближчі острови - 150м. Наш літак спізнився на 3 години і ми прибули біля 23-00, проте нас дочекалися і допомогли з дуже зручним трансфером з аеропорту. Заселення було простим і швидким, виселення ще простішим.

Варто додати по 1 малому рушнику. Подушки надто тверді.

Das The Nest ist ein unerwartetes Kleinod. Die Umgebung am Pier und Flughafen ist sehr laut, stark befahren und wenig schön, die Straße kaum zu überqueren, auch die Zufahrt zur Unterkunft ist sehr holprig. Umso angenehmer ist die Unterkunft selbst: ruhig, nett gestaltet, mit einem kleinen Pool in der Mitte, um den sich etwa fünf Bungalows gruppieren – eine echte Erholung, sobald man aus Hitze und Verkehr hereinkommt.

Das Verhalten des Besitzers empfand ich als sehr unfreundlich: Eine Bungalow-Nachbarin durfte trotz Buchung nicht kurz "ihr" WC benutzen, bevor ihr Bungalow bezugsfertig war – wir haben es ihr angeboten. Gerade gegenüber Touristen und im Hinblick auf Bewertungen auf Booking.com sollte man das überdenken. Die vielen Verbotsschilder sind ebenfalls zu viel (z. B. Schuhe ausziehen, kein Marihuana rauchen, nicht in den Pool springen, Schuhe vor der Bar ausziehen). 🙈🙉

This is a great place to stay if you are after somewhere quiet and relaxing. It is not in the liveliest of areas so if you want nightlife it may not be for you but there were plenty of restaurants close by as well as the beach. The room was a good size and very clean. We really enjoyed our few days here.

Very clean and new - small; maybe about 4 units. I liked my room very spacious and bathroom had a nice skylight. AC worked well and quickly. Stayed because it was in between Pralarn Pier and airport. No front desk but staff around during the day. Very nice shared common spaces including pool, microwave, and outdoor seating area.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich wunderschön – modern, stilvoll und sehr komfortabel. Sie war groß genug für zwei Personen und bot alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die gemütliche Atmosphäre und der gepflegte Poolbereich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. Ferry pier super close - walking distance if you are backpacking.
