Love the location and feel of the hotel
We had dinner in the restaurand, and really loved it!! We also went for a walk, and the surroundings are really nice. The breakfast was also really good
The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived, and we had to ask staff to go over it.
Beautiful premises / area. Lovely food (breakfast & dinner) & elegant facilities Room was 100%, very large & spacious, loved the layout Loads of parking
Nothing....
Lovely accommodation for a family wedding. Beautiful venue, staff were very good, food was great. Very clean and modern.

We had a wonderful stay at Llanerch Staff food and room.were all excellent
Everything was exceptional
We had a beautiful room (304), a very big room with 180 degree view, very quiet and private. The room was immaculate with very good quality furnishings and carpets. King size bed which was very comfortable, very good linens and towels. Even thought it was a shower over the bath, both the shower and bath worked well operated by easy to reach buttons on the side wall. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food and the service were excellent and it was reasonably priced. We had breakfast again there was a good choice and the breakfast room was very pleasant with open views.
The buffet breakfast could be kept better stocked especially if you get there 30 minutes before the end time. Maybe it would have been nice to have fresh milk in the bedroom fridge and a more generous supply of biscuits.
Food and wine was excellent. Really pleasant venue
No issues at all
The room was nice and modern with a comfy bed, and tea/coffee making facilities. We ate breakfast in the restaurant, though a little expensive at £20 per person, it was good quality. We had a dessert and a selection of 75ml 'tasters' of the winery's produce in the evening all of which were very nice.
We stayed on a warm night (warm not hot) and found the room really hot. If you're staying in summer a superior room with air con is probably a good idea. There is a pool table in the bar area. If you fancy a game make sure it's before 9pm, as it is covered over and breakfast set up on it. Bit disappointed that we weren't told in advance.
To arrive to hotel is very easy, good signs find on the road and really good looking place to stay and enjoy Accomodation is very decent, clean, confortable furnuture and very well mantain, almost like new Ana, the girl who gives wine tasting is excellent, very smooth presentation, easy to understand and very funny, i think she is the best from all the staff
Regarding wine tasting, i think is important to have a proper glass for each wine and may be add an soarkling wine to the tasting. Terrible attitude from staff, unfortunately I dont have names and i apologize in advance for the way I will describe. There is a lack of hospitality, we just got a nice experience with one nice girl at reception, she is thin and no glasses. Other than that, the guy and the girl whith a full-figured and glasses dont even made eye contact with any guest, dont greet the guest… we will always say hello as we needed to pass through the reception if we want it to go anywhere, sometimes they would replied, some others not a word but never greet first. I think is important to show some interest in your guest, as the reception is the first contact with the hotel, so they could ask where are you come from?, how we find the place? Simple things to make the first impression more welcoming. We did not get all information regarding lunch and dinner time or reservations, we did a reservation for 2 adults, my teen son was with us at the time of check in but he was not staying with is at the hotel as we were driving him to his summer camp. So the first thing this girl say was that extra bed in our room was not allow… instead of treat the whole situation different, may be asking if we made a mistake with number of people, not assuming something in negative way. I hope my review wont be taking as bad as it sounds, it is just a feedback that i think would be great for the gorlleous hotel you have that the staff is more involve in hospitality and greeting guest. Ghsnks
Friendly staff, excellent food and great venue
Location
I wanted to sit inside to have my dinner, but because I had the wrong day the staff member sat us outside which made my food go cold even though there was plenty of seats inside!!
attended a wedding and stayed the night

Location. Beautiful views. Quiet. Luxury.
Nothing!
We acknowledge that the weather was particularly warm, however, the Dyson floor cooling unit only just coped during the evenings we were in the room and was too noisy to operate at night, so the room became uncomfortably hot. Additionally, the bathroom extractor fan didn't work so the bathroom was a bit like a sauna. All in all, a bit of work required to make the rooms work in warm to hot conditions.
Lovely views across the vineyard,
Double bed. I’m used to a super king so a double felt like a single!

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were lovely, the room was palatial and exceptionally well appointed, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and even the temperature control was just right. We had patio doors leading on to a private balcony with 2 very comfortable chairs. It was lovely just to sit outside and enjoy the countryside views, listen to the birds and watch the antics of some beautiful House Martins. We only had breakfast at the hotel but that was really enjoyable, the food was good and the setting and ambience of the restaurant was just right. All in all this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in and the price was very reasonable too.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel
Very clean and modern, loved it was disability friendly, as u could bring my elderly dad next time.
Nothing
Dinner and the Lamb in particular was very good. Breakfast not taken. quite expensive and no light option
Same menu every night and no lighter meal options
Lovely location, nice and quiet yet close enough to drive to Cardiff.

Good location near my customer and parking
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very poor experience with both the room and the way my complaint was handled. I was placed in a room where the WiFi did not work. I informed reception politely and was told everything was fine on their end. The only solution offered was a paid upgrade to another room. I declined and told the female receptionist that was not acceptable as the room I booked was advertised and sold with WiFi included. The receptionist then left to the back room saying she could not handle it. A male colleague came out a few minutes later and loudly stated that she was crying, which left me feeling uncomfortable and slightly intimidated. I suggested he come to the room and that if he could get the WiFi working I would happy to stay. He could not, and 10 minutes later I was moved to a different room. The interaction left me so anxious that I avoided the restaurant for dinner and did not have breakfast there either. At check out I asked for a manager to call me to discuss what happened. No call came. I texted the property the next morning asking again for a manager to call me. Still no response. I could not email as I was driving between appointments. The lack of follow up and the arrogance of management not calling me back has forced me to revise my rating down from a 6 to a 4. Selling a room with WiFi and refusing to resolve it without an extra charge, then ignoring repeated requests to discuss the issue, is not acceptable. I wouldn’t normally mention little things, but because of what happened I am, there was a pubic hair in my bath, the kettle was dirty and their extra large double beds are 2 x single beds with a very thin zip cover (this kind of bed is great for a couple NOT for a single traveller, its like sleeping in a single bed).
Very cool

Great location and rural setting
I liked everything but thought breakfast was a bit pricy
Evening meal was excellent
Breakfast was disappointing, not value for money, fruit options very limited, long queue for coffee machine, eggs freshly cooked but other hot items weren’t. Would have expected all the breakfast options including tea & coffee to be prepared / cooked fresh and table served rather than squeezed into a small buffet area. Some food items had run out and had ask waitress to restock buffet.
food & wine very good
The properly was great.
Unfortunately I was no able to shower as it flooded, I was offered no compensation for this
Location and breakfast great
Good
Good facilities and location
Room sparely furnished not homely or welcoming
Everything was perfect, the location was serene but beautiful, the venue was of an extremely high standard, food was the nicest we've tasted and customer service of staff was second to none ans couldn't do enough for you, will definitely be returning!
Nothing, we regret only staying for 1 night!
The room and the food.
Mattress was very hard, didnt sleep well. Breakfast was cold.
The room was of a very high standard - perfect finish and standard, large bright room with fantastic sliding doors looking over the countryside. The facilities in the room were great also- iron, hairdryer, fridge and tea and coffee.
The only thing that let our stay down was poor sleep down to uncomfortable pillows. I did try swapping them around but they were hard and lumpy so I tossed and turned all night.
Great stuff food lovely surroundings
The staff and the suite was terrible !
Really nice and chill environment
Staff extremely friendly Good Welsh welcome Perfect venue for the wake for mum in afternoon in calon lodge Very good the the children too
It was perfect really but if I had one bit of feedback it was that the waitress serving us at dinner didn’t have any grasp of the wine list for advice to us Just a very small criticism and she was great otherwise but in a vineyard you expect the servers to know the main differences with the house wines at least . Just a bit of feedback that’s all It didn’t soil anything
Fantastic place, with opportunity to buy their own wine. With small woods for walking near the property.
Nothing to mention here
Great location, absolutely amazing restaurant.

Very relaxing Beautiful room and dinner superb
Easy access, beautiful views and beautiful interior
Everything is a very high spec, our air con was a bit temperamental which meant we didn’t get the best sleep (got very hot!)
Lovely big room with big desk. Nice reception area, nice courtyard. Nice coffee and tea available in the room. Soaps and shampoos from white company with lovely scent. A moisturiser would be nice. Hair dryer and ironing board present as well as bathroabs and slippers.
Bathroom sink is plastic and is stained yellow making it look dirty. Broken wine glass. Door to the bathroom was dirty on both sides and so was the hand-wash bottle. Would be nice to have a lamp on the desk as had to move one of the bedside table lamps.
Excellent service. Beautiful venue.
Converted buildings extended and fitted out to a high standard making convivial and high quality stay. Dining experience very good with attentive and staff prepared to engage with customers
Reception not 24 hours and appeared unmanned from early evening. Just a number to call if you needed assistance in the evening or at night.
The room was really spacious & comfortable with fabulous views.
The restaurant was a bit small & the seating a little uncomfortable.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful room with fantastic views. Lovely restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Location was good and having the room and restaurant on the same location
The room, the sink looked dirty. Suppose to be a nice white sink but look just completely stained. The shower looked nice however didn’t drain well at all which let to the water going over and having to stop the shower for it to go down which wasn’t convenient when showering. The smell in the bathroom wasn’t pleasant so maybe there was a drainage problem.
Clean cheerful pleasant surroundings nice restaurant
The taxi driver from Cardiff couldn’t find it
Large
Really lovely hotel/vineyard/restaurant only 20 minutes outside of Cardiff. Very nice facilities, large room with a lovely balcony. Dinner was exceptional. Bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely appointed.
Not a lot to complain about. Breakfast was a little generic and disappointing (felt a bit like a business travel hotel rather than a quality boutique hotel). The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, but that was easily dealt with
Everything.
Doesn't apply!
Food in the restaurant was good. We enjoyed the home produced wine. The room was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant.
The sink in the bathroom was plastic and stained. My husband didn't like the plasticky mattress protector
The room was clean, well presented, the bed was comfortable, although no complimentary tea or coffee - considering we paid £200 for the night, I thought we may have been able to had a cuppa in the morning
Offering the complimentary tea and coffee for the morning, would have made the morning just more cosy and comfortable, rather than having to leave the property to get a hot drink. I feel breakfast was offered to us, but at £20 per person, this was a bit steep. again considering the price paid for the room this could have been included
Large comfortable room. Good restaurant
Breakfast not up to the standard of evening meal. Some items cold and limited range of fruit
