Alagon City Hotel & Spa

We had a generally good experience during our stay. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful, which was definitely one of the highlights. The location is convenient, and we also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good selection.

There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. We noticed that the rooms had a noticeable smell, so improving ventilation and room freshness would make the stay more comfortable. At times, communication was a little challenging due to the language barrier, although the staff always made an effort to assist. We also felt that the additional charge for a laundry bag was a little unexpected and perhaps something the hotel could reconsider. One suggestion for future guests is to double-check the hotel name when making a booking, as the old Alagon Hotel and the newer Alaiyon Hotel are attached/closely connected, which can potentially cause some confusion on arrival. Overall, we appreciate the warm hospitality and helpful attitude of the staff. With a few improvements to the rooms and some service-related details, the experience could be even better. Thank you to the team for making our stay enjoyable.

The location and the facilities and the price.

The shower was too low.

Staff are extremely helpful Breakfast is fabulous Location is great

Rooms are dated. Online Photos need to be updated to reflect current conditions.

Room is small , no windows

We were given a family suite with a tiny bathroom but fortunately the staff were very kind to upgrade our room with a bigger bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic: lots of choice, the food was fresh and tasty. We also appreciated a lot the bonus for a free foot massage and cocktail.

We'd have appreciated if the staff were less "official" and more friendly and hospitable to give us some advice and explain what to visit in the city.

The location was perfect, central to so many places. The staff was wonderful. Value was incredible

Some rooms were just a little older fashioned but not bad at all.

Good location, walking distance to many places to visit. Great breakfast and very spacious rooms with a nice view. We received a lot of Vouchers (meal in the restaurant, foot massage, evening drink and wedges).

Pool and gym could be bigger.

Ideale per rilassarsi dopo giornate intense a Ho Chi Minh

Unico appunto, i vetri in camera potrebbero essere puliti meglio..

L'hôtel est très bien placé

Prijs, netheid en locatie.

Niet heel veel.

Fantastic location beautiful property comfortable beds and big rooms can't fault anything

N/A

Location and very comfortable beds

The rooftop was lovely but no mattresses for the sun loungers which was a shame

Goede locatie, goed ontbijt, schoon en net hotel.

Niets!

Location and staff

Nothing

Zwembad erg klein

Staff are very kind and welcoming.

The big plus is the staff at this hotel making minuses into “plus”. Especially Ms.Lucy from customer service team was so professional at her work. Even though It was really terrible that the neighbour building started drilling and making noisy renovation works in the morning Ms.Lucy could satisfy customers with very warm words and her support with moving to other room where these noises would not bother. She was taking care of all the customers and finding a way to make them stay in the most comfortable way.

Dejlig pool :), fine værelser og restaurant.

Le personnel très avenant

Location was perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Matthew.

Pool was a little crowded

Good location within walking distance of the major tourist sites. Decent breakfast, nice rooftop pool and bar and friendly, attentive staff. Our family room was a good size with big, comfy beds.

The bathroom was small and a bit cramped, with a weak shower. Not enough hanging or drying areas in the bedroom/bathroom, especially if you use the pool. There are about 4 different lifts, but the one leading to our room did not connect to the rooftop pool/bar, meaning that we had to go down to the ground floor then back up.

location, large room

needed to wait for the elevator when busy

The staffs are friendly.

Location

Very handy location and staff were very friendly

Pool was too small

Location

The small one bed room had no window

Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Location was great. Room is clean and comfortable.

The shower. The toilet gets wet each time we shower.

The breakfast was amazing. The restaurant food was incredible. The staff were lovely. Great location.

The pool area can get busy in the afternoons and there isn’t much space to sit and relax while you watch the kids.

Zwembad, vriendelijk personeel, gratis happy hour en massage

Oudere kamers

Location was perfect for us. The room was comfortable and clean.

Location and roof top bar and pool

Buffet breakfast was average.

Clean and friendly staff

Shower water pressure weak

Staff were lovely and helpful. Loved the complimentary vouchers rooftop bar and pool was cool.

Hot water took awhile to finally come on and bathroom was a bit smelly.

I love this place. I will go back there in future trips. The staff, we're lovely. The roof top bar has entertainment, so good. The pool, spa and gym were excellent. The breakfast was amazing.

I think they need to update the TV.

Odlicna pozicija hotela v dostriktu 1, prijazno osebje, dobre usluge, dober zajtrk...

Great hotel. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in HCMC. Felt very safe and staff were great. Massage also lovely.

Breakfast is good. Location is good

Room, mattress got sound when turn body or go up. First day take bath the floor drain stuck. Wet half the bath room.

Uitstekende locatie in District 1. Vriendelijk personeel en lekker uitgebreid ontbijt.

Staff and breakfast were excellent

No balconies

Lovely hotel Staff were great.

Room was a little small. Not the hotels fault as we knew when we booked that there was no window and with the room being on the small size it made feel a bit claustrophobic. But it has made us realise we need a window in future.
