Stadium Motel

It's clean and no fuss that's all I need.

Quite abit of noise from neighboring rooms and across the road

Bed was comfy

bit noisy from other room

Location

Very run down unit While sheets were clean the bedspread had shoe prints over it Had to put a towel on chair before sitting on it as was also stained

Staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was comfy and just right for us. Very convenient location, close to everything but still private.

Location, helpful staff, spa bath.

There was a large booger/snot on the wall we had to wipe off. There was mould in the shower and a lot of built up grim throughout the room. Needs a deep clean. This place is definitely not four star.

Good location and very clean. Asked to buy a coke zero and reception gave it free of charge.

Nothing

How close to the FMG Stadium it was.

Location to FMG stadium was awesome. A 1 minute walk. The staff were amazing and very friendly. It had everything I needed. Microwave, jug, fridge and heatpump etc. Clean, comfy and reasonably priced accommodation. No need to book somewhere fancy, stay here and spend your money on other things. I will definitely stay again.

Very close to the stadium , bed very comfortable, reception very friendly

Shower air vent needs cleaning, heat pump needs cleaning.

Location. Sky Tv and the spa bath

Cups had coffee stains around the rim and the inside. Had to wash the cups before use Wifi was terrible. Kept cutting out. Took over 5 attempts to log on.

Location was awesome, walked to our event and quick taxi back.

Car parks are rather tight (but hey that's just the way it is). Being a soft bed person the beds were too firm for my liking, saying that there was nothing wrong with them.

Location if you are attending an event at FMG Stadium is the only thing to like

In real need of refurbishment. Run down interior and exterior.

I loved the fact that hotel wasn't on main road so no traffic sound . The owners are friendly an catered to our needs . Babys loved the spa bath . Also hotel is near town an right by stadium. Will Definitely be back .. also we stayed here for a dew nights an I booked the family room first an then another an both room met expectations

Spa bath was great fast and easy service great reception

No couch.

It was close to the event.

There was nothing.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Handy to event.

Great host, good location.

Nothing

Close to the stadium for the games and always comfortable

The owner is super friendly and helpful. The motel is very clean, perfect location.

The only downfall was our spa bath didn't work.

Location was great - we could walk to the venue we were invited to and town also. Close to the supermarket and accross the road to the main Rugby stadium if your thinking of heading to the rugby! Super handy, kind and genuine staff.

Nothing!

Bathroom was not clean - soap marks on floor, hairs from previous guests on the floor and in the shower. Toilet was clean. Linen was clean. Living room had wrappers and dirt from previous guests. Dust on counters. Didn’t even want to take our shoes off in the unit.

all

Location

Spa bath didn’t work

Location was close to town and supermarkets and it was very convenient location and in a quiet area

Needs more parking spaces. Disliked parking my vehicle on the road side

Staff was fine

paper thin walls and the person in room 7 next door Needs help or some kind of mental health support or drug councelling

Location for a function was good. Bed was comfy

Basically with light bulbs missing in room and dirty cups

The location is good, nice & handy to restaurants & supermarket.

The motel is very dated & needs upgrading.

Close to town.

Location is easy to find.. right where we needed to be close as to the stadium. Shops that we needed to go to were close.

NiL

Room was lovely and clean. Host/owner was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Outside was abit untidy as its winter totally understand.

Spa was amazing and having sky sport was awesome

Everything was fine, no bad comments

Everything it was nice and tidy my children loved the spa bath

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I liked how close it is to the stadium and the bed was comfy.

The staff were friendly

Had requested a specific room when booking, however, had to change rooms three times as each room had something that wasn't working that we had asked for. The upgraded spa room we got in the end was probably the worst of them all.

Close to our event

Bit dated, but had everything we needed

Office lady was very kind even when we woke up an hour later than the check out time. Has all the basics you need for a comfortable stay but wouldnt recommend if your looking for something flash. However, we will definitely be staying again.

Good price. Good selection of different pillows. Having actual sky box in the room was good.

Beds are extremely firm - suits some I know but not my thing.

The bed was extremely comfortable

I really wanted a spa bath i searched a motel specifically to have a bath and it didnt advertise the bath was broken, the lighting was terrible, no sky movies, curtains fell off the rail, and dont believe it was worth the $350

Location right next to stadium and mill st pal n sab.

Ceiling light bulb need replacing.. No remote or switch turn on ceiling fan. Spa bath not working.

They where very accommodating as we booked late and added more ppl

Nothing

Close proximity to where we needed to be Host was lovely and super friendly.

Both washer and dryer outdated and both were broken but worked. The drier kept turning off and washing machine the detergent dispenser was missing The room needs updating.

Excellent location, close to restaurants and the rugby stadium

Everything was good thank u

Comfy beds. Spa bath was nice. Overall pretty good for the price.

Was difficult to check in as office was not staffed on arrival. Privacy could be an issue for couples. Don't expect good room service.

The room

Nothing, everything is perfect

Perfect location

Close to the city and supermarkets

Fridge didn't work so most of our food spoiled.

Lovely staff and great location

Don’t recommend Stadium motel to anyone. Our experience with the management at Stadium motel was really disappointing. We found them to be very unprofessional, unethical & pathetic communicators. We ended up walking away from them and finding another motel, due to their incompetence or unwillingness to answering simple inquiries in a timely manner. Really bad experience with them that we hope no one else has to encounter. Just don’t book there and problem is solved.

Location Price Service

Friendly, comfortable

a little bit grubby in places, cup in cupboard had tea dribbles, carpet could do with a clean & vacuum along the edges up wall. Soap bottle in bathroom a bit used & grubby. All bed tables had drink rim marks on them. Duvet had a dirty mark on it.

Clean price quiet

The staff were really friendly and the location was great and close to the rugby stadium

The pull out bed on the couch was a bit hard and worn

The location was great for us as we were in Hamilton for a game at FMG Stadium. Friendly staff.

The room wasn't ready at check in time, we found a hair in the bed and the hot water had run out at 9am the next morning before we were checking out.

The proximity to the stadium was excellent

Bit expensive for one night

Amazing location for events at Waikato Stadium

Room could do with some upgrades

Booked a room with two double beds, got a room with one double bed and one single..

We were there for a tangi the motel was great as it was walking distance for us supermarket wasn’t that far either which was great

Not too bad a location

It was definitely not very clean

Very central to town . Very close to the stadium. Easy walk to town.

Dirty pillow case. Blood on it. No hot water.

The room was very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and very clean. Location is central to supermarket and gas station and handy to town and resturants.
