Ulster Lodge Motel

Spacious room, nice and quiet with very little road noise. Great facilities for the price, lovely people. Great shower too!

We had 2 beds which was a bonus, hiwever the main bed in the separate bedroom was a double and quite soft. Plenty of room for a queen.

Comfy beds, plenty of room, upgraded facilities and excellent hosting.

Amazing owner to deal with . Lovely Modern room. Clean comfy and quiet.. what more could we want and a big tv we could watch from bed .

The weather haha

Location and the staff

Location and staff

Big beautiful rooms. Very comfortable and warm

It was all fine, kids did complain of smell but overall good.

It was all fine

Fabulously close to FMG stadium. Easy walk even for us older people!! Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

We had the two bedroom unit and the doors out to the balcony were both really hard to open.

Unit was clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable.

Narinder (the owner) was an excellent Host, welcomed us even though we were really early for check in. He helped us find a windscreen repairer too. Thank you Narinder! The room was excellent, clean and spacious. We enjoyed watching him repair his railing outside and gave encouragement!!!! We will stay again if we visit the North Island again. H and J Evans

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable beds

It was lovely

It was algood

חדר מרווח ונקי. חדר אמבטיה טוב ומרווח עם ג׳קוזי (לא השתמשנו) מקלחת טובה. מיטה נוחה. מיקום טוב - קרוב האיצטדיון.

Very clean, large rooms, comfortable bed, big bathroom, big T.V.

nothing.

Clean comfy room

A little run down

Lovely place, very welcoming owners/operators. I was provided with options that were better suited and actually cheaper than the booking I made, making sure they are catering to the individual or the party.

Nothing.

The hosts are great people. I love staying here.

Good size Unit that was thoughtfully equiped. My Unit was at the back away from the Road and infact the whole facilty and neighbourhood was very quiet during my stay.

More Sky Channels and parking would be tight when busier.

Very handy to the stadium. Very comfortable, hospitable and quiet.

Nothing

The customer service was exceptional, the room was great clean 10/10 well kept. Beds were comfy. We will be booking and repeat staying for our next trip. Thank you for your kindness and being so accommodating.

Noisy area but nothing more than expected with location.

TV, Air conditioning, kitchenette all good

Parking space small and under edge of a tree causing leaves and bird poop to be plastered on car. Dirty spots on carpet and the chairs, also a dirty pillow slip

Friendly helpful staff, Well presented room, nice and clean and fresh

I’ve stayed here before and would stay here again. Good lighting, good wifi. Nice little fenced patio area at the back of my ground floor room.

Need to invest in some “service not required” signs for the doors.

Stayed to go to a netball game, silver ferns vs Aussie and room was convenient to venue, great value and comfortable.

Pillows a bit hard for my liking, but that wasn't really a problem. It was a great room for a great price.

Second visit here and again warmly welcomed, even got an upgraded room which was highly appreciated. Rooms very well appointed and equipped. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Brilliant location for getting in and out of Hamilton Staff very welcoming and friendly Rooms comfortable and spotless

Everything. Great hospitality. Great location, central.

Close to the Stadium 🏟

Clean room and great location, quiet too. The room was serviced daily. Also handy having a food store less than a minute away. The man at reception was friendly, and understanding when I thought I'd lost my room key. Fortunately, I'd only locked them in my room.

My pillow was a bit hard but I managed to find a more comfortable one in the room.

Good Friendly Staff and very helpful.

Tout était très bien. L'accueil, le personnel, la localisation. Séjour qui s'est très bien déroulé.

Néant.

Everything

A warm and friendly greeting, set the scene for a comfortable stay in a spotlessly clean room.

The room would benefit from a few cosmetic upgrades, but they had zero impact on our stay or comfortability. Still happy to recommend this motel to all.

Our stay was very comfortable the room was very clean. Close to Fmg stadium where we were going. Will return. Very friendly host most welcoming.

Spaciousness

Happy greeting on arrival and all queries answered ,eg parking.

Nothing, all was good for our short stay

Great location, excellent facilities, lovely hosts.

Nil

Excellent position, clean and great facilities.

A large comfortable room, very modern with excellent facilities, very clean

Clean. Was good for an overnight stay.

It would have been more welcoming to have the fridge turned on and cool prior to our arrival as well as all the towels in the room rather than being given an extra one at check in to carry to our room along with our bags. A bit pedantic maybe but don't think that is too much to ask when we had booked for 3 people. Oh and fresh cold milk would have been nice - rather than warm UHT milk. Pleased I packed earplugs as there was a bit of traffic noise. Parking was quite tight in a bigger vehicle.

Welcoming manager. Booked 2 rooms both very nice with very comfy bed and quiet at night . Everything we needed and some little personal touches evident .

Nothing

The staff were amazing, very welcoming, informative and friendly. We booked the two bedroom suite. It was perfect. Very spacious, tv in every room. Sky channels and Netflix. The room had coffee, tea and sugar. It had everything you would need for a pleasant, comfortable stay.

Both bedrooms, the bathroom and the lounge were very spacious, The bed was very comfortable to sleep on with lovely crispy clean linen. And the towels soft and of a good size. Loved the bathroom beautiful clean and shiny.

N/P

Location is good for rugby. Unit was very clean.

Everything is quite dated. My unit only provided instant coffee in a sachet. Poor by comparison to all other motels.

Room was spacious, tidy and well maintained. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

I would prefer allocated parks. I checked in, parked but then had to go out to pick someone up. Upon returning the park was gone and only remaining space was too small for my vehicle. Beds on casters move too easily. When two people are sitting up in bed against the wall the beds start moving away from the wall.

Very pleased, staff were friendly and helpful

Freindly owner, room was very clean , modern bathroom with jet spar bath, room was very spacious.

Pillow a bit hard, bed moved around on its rollers.

The room facilited to my needs due to mobility issues

The husband was nice but the wife was not to friendly. My continental breakfast was delivered the night before rather the morning. The people above us were very loud.

Great location with easy access. The room was well appointed and practicle. We used the kitchenette and found it very convenient. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable, and the towels fluffy. The room always smelt nice and they make up the room daily which is lovely.

Room was great. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The location was nice and close to the stadium

The pillows were very thin and no flannels in the bathroom.

Staff were friendly as! Room as great especially for a last minute booking. Shower was nice and hot
