Staffs were friendly and helpful

The room I was initially given was near the road, and the traffic noise was very loud. I asked the staff on the same day if I could be moved to a quieter room. I was told someone would come the next day to let me know if a room was available, but no one came. I had to go back to the front desk myself. At first, I was told the hotel was fully booked. Only after I explained that I would prefer a refund or to cancel my booking did they look for another option. Thankfully, I was eventually moved to a much quieter room, which was appreciated. However, it was a twin room even though I had originally requested a double bed. Another issue was the hot water. When I went to take a shower, I discovered there was no hot water. I went to reception and was told that hot water was available on request. I would have really appreciated being informed about this when I checked in, rather than finding out when I needed to shower. Overall, the staff eventually found solutions, but I feel that communication with guests could be much better.

The pool was wonderful. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners that we had there.

Some air conditioners were leaking, and we had some issues with the room keys. However, these were addressed very quickly.

You can hear everything. Ordered a double/ queen bed, but it's two single beds connected. I might stay again if it's my last option. . Just the hotel's condition.

Very noisy. Windows and door insulation is very bad. Can hear noise from the streets as well as room corridor. I could hear people walking outside at the corridor as well as their knocking on other room doors. And noise from traffic outside can clearly be heard.

Good place to stay, have stayed here a few times based on quality of room and friendliness of staff and location. Good rooftop pool and rooms are clean.

WiFi is pretty poor in rooms, and was the first time they have started charging extra for breakfast, which is disappointing. Also initially wanted to charge extra for an "early check in" when arriving 30 minutes before allocated time, which again was off putting as a returning customer.

We stayed at this hotel in July, and overall, it was a good experience for the price. The hotel is located off a busy road and relatively close to the airport, though Bali traffic can make the trip longer than expected. Check-in was quick, and the hotel’s colorful decor, reminiscent of Brazilian artist Romero Britto’s work, added a lively vibe. It has a bit of a hostel or college feel, which could appeal to younger travelers. From the corridor, we had a fantastic view of the massive Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. Our room, while clean and comfortable, felt a bit dated. It had a view of the bay, but the lack of storage was inconvenient, with no drawers and very few hangers. Basic toiletries were provided, and while the beds weren’t as comfortable as we'd hoped, we still slept well. The rooftop pool and bar, along with a lounge/play area, were nice amenities, but unfortunately, rain kept us from enjoying the pool. The bar served decent food, and the bartender was very friendly. For just $19 (with taxes, $25), we were impressed by the range of services available. While we didn’t try their spa, we felt the hotel offered excellent value for the price, despite minor comfort issues.

For several weeks and months, the MaxOne Hotel has always offered us something that resembles home. A spectacular feature of the hotel itself is the huge pool on the roof, where you can see half of Bali. Whether you are staying for a long time or spontaneously for one night, you are always warmly welcomed. But the highlight of the Max One Hotel Bukit Jimbaran is the staff. We have grown very fond of them all. They are all super great people, helpful and kind. The price-performance ratio is great. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Very busy road and not close to anywhere

The hotel is quite old and not clean. Very bad smell of mold in the room and especially in the bathroom. Extremely thin walls and doors and you can hear everything what’s going outside your room. Don’t recommend

Nice tries for unusual amenities. It’s smart hotel. Good rooftop with 360 view . Possible to sit with laptop there. Cafe inside is simple but serves good. Nice idea with shower sit. Nice view from room on 5th floor. Inside parking is big and closed (no rain there). Not noisy but hotel is located near the busy road.

The rooms is small. Would like to have a small table too but no space. Air conditioning works bad. In the room a little bit smelly. Traffic jams on main roads

Avoid at all costs! Rooms are drenched/soaked/infested with MOLD. I developed a very bad reaction towards the mold and was sick during my stay there. Felt really sick and miserable. It was a nightmare. I changed two rooms and they were the same.

The room was clean and very kind personal

The wifi didn’t work well at all during our stay. And for the breakfast, it was quite disappointing. There was no explanation provided on how it worked; they simply served Indonesian food without informing us that we could request eggs. On the first day, we ended up going out for breakfast, and on the second day, after they noticed us wandering around trying to find something we liked, they mentioned we could order eggs. However, the portion they gave us was very small. Each day seemed to be a bit less satisfying.

The hotel had a great location and pretty comfy bed.

The smell!!! It was caused by the humidity… Once the A/C was on, it was less intense but still. When you came into the room, it was horrible… The room was clean. The buffet was very deceitful. There was mold on the bread. We ended up eating somewhere else. The staff was nice.

The studio rooms were all really hot - even with the aircon on 16c. The aircon leaked all night on to the floor.

The hotel is positioned on a busy route. When we entered the room, we saw some ants on the floor and a stain on the linens. There is a construction site next to this hotel, and there was a resident house beneath the balcony, so the view from the room was not particularly good.

The bed was comfortable enough

The property did not feel clean. The floors were dirty. The pictures did not portray the actual state of the hotel. I booked a double bed however when I got to the property I was told there was a single bed only. Fortunately, they found a double bed. However, it was not nice to come to that after a long trip.

Staff very gracious and friendly. The rooms are great value and very comfortable. Bed and bedding quality good. Shower and amenities good. Great little bar over the road called little irish with great pub fair at reasonable prices.

Starting to show wear and tear in some areas but by no means a deal breaker. When in this area it is a very convenient place to stay.

Room size, clean towel, hot water, cold AC, fresh linen, friendly staff and good service, TV channel has BBC and CNN!, rooftop swimming pool, view from balcony, it has a balcony!, high ceiling room, good location between airport and uluwatu. Open air alleys and staircase are also nice, giving enough air circulation. The available hair dryer and daily water bottles, thank you. Staying here for total 8 days, i dont wanna leave, it was comfortable and cozy.

Breakfast quality can be better, rooftop cafe counter area can be revamped, and maybe refresh the colorful interior into something more nowness 😄
