Lack of maintenance, furniture broken, telephone line loosen. 3 pax but amenities only for 2 pax, then i told the front staff (a Malay lady without spec station for evening) that i wanna get the bath gel after I come back for dinner. When I'm back, she didnt even ready it. I have to go back to my room and wait for the staff to deliver it b4 we can bath.

Very disappointed with our stay this time. We are regular customers and have stayed here many times, but this experience was unacceptable. We stayed for one night in Room 1225, next to the room under renovation (1226, if I remember correctly). The corridor was filled with a strong construction/paint smell, and our room also smelled strongly of paint and was dusty, with paint flakes around. The construction work started around 8:45 PM and continued with loud drilling and knocking the next day around 12 PM. We had a baby with us, which made the situation even more difficult. The biggest disappointment was that the reception did not inform us about the renovation and still assigned us a room right next to the construction area. We would have understood if we had been informed beforehand, and a different room could have been arranged. The receptionist simply said sorry without giving any proper explanation or solution. As regular customers, we expected much better communication and consideration. Very disappointed with this stay.

Room and bathroom was clean. Bedsheets and towels were very clean and new. Beds were comfortable Air conditioning and hot water shower worked well. The reception staff was also courteous. Ample parking is provided as well.

Upkeep of the general areas such as the lift lobbies, hallways and the swimming pool fell short of expectations. This should be an easy fix for the team.

Friendly staffs

We were assigned to the first room with urine stench smell. Subsequent room were assigned 30 minutes later. Unfortunately this replacement room The bathroom is flooded which time the basin tap and bath tub is on. Had addressed the issue to The front counter staff the next morning before we head out for our visit. When we came back in the evening, noticed that the fault wasn’t repaired. No coffee sachets were given after room being tidied up.

The aircond in my room is not functioning well, so it's kinda stuffy and hot. The on-site parking spots of the hotel are limited, so if you go back late, you might end up having no parking and have to double park.

Room was spacious. Hot water work fine with good water pressure. AC was cold. Breakfast menu was okay but the Chinese lady staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Maintenance staff came fast. Pool was okay but water very shallow.

Bed frame was very old fashioned. Toilet condition was not that hygienic, floor was slippery. The carper smell dusty. The bowl still have the bidet-machine-seat thingy but was not in use. No bellboy, u have to push the trolley urself.

Chambre très sombre car elle donnait sur un patio, les articles de toilettes n’étaient pas remplacés, chambre un peu vétuste côté deco et matelas très dur. L’hôtel est un peu l’un du centre historique de Malacca mais heureusement avec grab c’est très facile de se déplacer

Le petit déjeuner offre un choix limité mais reste très correct.

Très mauvaise insonorisation dans notre chambre qui donnait sur la rue. La fenêtre n’était pas bien fermée. L’emplacement est dangereux pour se rendre au centre à pieds : aucun trottoir et rue très passante. La piscine n’a aucun transat ni espace d’ombre. Petit déjeuner moyen.

Pool is at the rooftop with no shade so the water is a bit murky. i dont know the frequency on how much they clean the water, but it is best to put shade if the pool is in the open like that

The Location is very decent. You can walk to downtown. Not the most pleasant walk. But you can take a Grab for $2 to downtown.

Room has no night tables, air conditioning is noisy, fridge is noisy. Room is huge but no decoration. If you are tourist you can stay in this hotel for 2 nights max. The hotel need to be updated. Breakfast was not great. Low quality ingredients.

We had a really pleasant stay at Hallmark Crown Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable enough for our family with kids, which was a big plus. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were also very helpful, friendly, and kind throughout our stay. The hotel offers great value for money, especially considering the room size, cleanliness and service. Honestly, I feel this hotel is quite underrated. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean and family-friendly place to stay in Malacca, I would definitely recommend Hallmark Crown Hotel.

The only thing I didnt like was that the room is at another block, separated from the lobby reception. So not really a problem since it’s built that way.

The price was good and quite easy to get to.

Dusty and needed proper cleaning. Dated facilities. The breakfast was poor. The orange juice for example had no taste and was heavily diluted. I didn’t end up eating much of the breakfast as it was generally unappealing.

1)The room dressing mirror is dusty. 2)The light at the dressing mirror should change to be more bright. 3) IMPORTANT the restaurant ---noticed flies on fish cake at the area "lontong" corners...sambal less in taste... Overall the food area should care more about hygiene.

Room - Well equipped with essential necessities like iron, ironing board, kettle, functioning tv, mini fridge and others for comfortable stay. Good Location - 10 minutes drive to Jonker Walk and Cruise area during peak hrs Staff - Very friendly and accommodating. Smooth check in and check out process. (Need RM50.00 deposit upon check in)

Room - Strongly smell like cigarette smoke. The housekeeping should spray air freshener to remove the odor. Bedside lamp are functioning but literally hanging out of their socket. Toilet - Shower head and sink were both leaking. The water pressure is good tho. Location - Hotel hv 2 separate building in the same area. After check in, we need to carry our things to 2nd building to go to our room. Wish we were told in advance. Parking - Quite difficult to find at night.

Reception gentili al nostro arrivo. Letto grande e confortevole. Accessori per il bagno presenti e rimpiazzati. Bollitore, acqua e caffè e the presenti in camera. Colazione nel complesso discreta, poco intercontinentale ma gradita. Per noi essendo in macchina è stato molto utile il parcheggio. Certo non è nel centro storico ma a 20 minuti di passeggiata.

Il condizionatore efficace ma troppo rumoroso, come anche un po' il frigorifero.

Kebersihan dan kekemasan hotel. Suka sistem penanda depan pintu bilik, moden dan senang nak maklum pada pihak hotel. Bahagian pencucian/kemas bilik juga tbaik.

Waktu petang, dah tiada makanan berat di hotel. Tapi saya beli kat aplikasi je. Hehehe.

1. Bathroom light too dim. Worst if guest has night blindness. 2. I woke up with a tiny crockroach on the bed = not cleaned properly. 3. Both kettle and flask very dirty. PLEASE!!!!! 4. Sorry but I won't be back.

Our host was friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with through WhatsApp. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and he even helped us arrange a tour to the Mossy Forest, BOH Tea Plantation, and a strawberry farm through a website he recommended. He was also accommodating when we asked for a late check-out. The host also went above and beyond by dropping off bottled water, coffee, extra toilet paper, and slippers for us to use without us even having to ask. It was thoughtful and made us feel very well looked after. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shops in Tanah Rata. The apartment felt safe, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated having a full-size fridge, microwave, sink, plates, cutlery, and basic supplies like body wash, hand soap, and dish soap. There is also a self-service laundry nearby, which was very convenient for a longer stay.

The only downside was that the bathroom occasionally had a slight sewage smell. It came and went throughout our stay, but everything else was clean and comfortable.
