Quality Inn & Suites Whitecourt

Staff was friendly, room was decent

Very noisy hotel, could hear conversations from other rooms and hallways. Also was left listening to the people above us walk around all night. Very thin walls makes it hard to sleep when you have to hear everything all night long.

Location

Good selection of breakfast options. Good sized breakfast room.

The selection of TV was very bad. Streaming services that appeared to be available would not load.

Location is great, no road noise issues, clean room.

How clean the lobby and rooms were

Nice bedding, friendly staff, big room.

Noisey air conditioning unit outside, running all night. Breakfast wasn't very good.

The staff were awesome. I originally used booking.com to find a pet friendly room. I was trying my hardest to google pet friendly hotels in whitecourt and find the in person contact numbers. I called 2 numbers and both were defunct. When I finally got a hold of front desk staff in whitecourt staff recommended I just call direct next time. It's not easy to call direct and just book with quality inn or any hotel. The hotline sucks. Your staff in person or over the phone locally are under utilized in my opinion.

breakfast could be better. Staff was always awesome.

The family suite was very spacious with plenty of bed options. The view and location were great and central.

Unfortunately the family suite was on the bottom floor and there is no elevator so lugging all the baby equipment down and up wasn't ideal. Some of the renovations that were done were coming apart (loose floor tiles, caulking peeling/missing, bedroom door did not stay closed)

Staff was dishonest, I was charged for 2 rooms and did not use 2 rooms. Staff told different stories, refused to return my calls and never issued the refund they told me that they would.

The dishonest staff

Breakfast good variety.

Would have been nice for some kind of plates to use. Most people bring snacks.

Well, if I could attach pictures , there would be no need for words. Peeling paint, discoloured sink, low quality experience

Everything about the stay was great. Very clean and modern. Very quiet and good location for my needs!

Clean!

We stayed at this hotel on the way to and from Edmonton. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff was friendly. We didn't stay for breakfast but it was with the room.

Nothing.

Could have been a bit more of a selection. On one morning the element burnt out and the eggs and bacon were cold.

Breakfast was great. Had to ask for towels, beds were not made up for 2nd day or towels replaced

Property was good. Wanted to rebook for following weekend and desk clerk good not even give a price. Why is that, prices seem to fluctuate every day.

Very clean room and nice breakfast

Staff was accommodating. And pool table was abonus

Room 108 features a leak in the bathroom wall with mould in the wall and standing water on the floor, the security latch has been torn off the door. Breakfast included two empty containers marked “coffee.”

My room smelt like cigarette smoke bad

Overall a very clean place, however the light switches in my room and bathroom were very dirty. I'm sure it was just an oversight because everything else was really clean. It would be nice to have scrambled eggs to on buffet breakfast

Room was next to the UFA cardlock and heard trucks all night long

Very nice rooms. We have stayed here 3 times and will do it again.

Nice & clean.

It was all good, good stay, everything available in terms of rest, exercise, safety......pillows could be thicker, very soft!

Nice, clean and quite room. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our check-in. Very good breakfast to get you going for the day. Highly recommend.

Nice place to stay. Older Clean Great staff and sevice. Fine spot to stay when traveling

Friendly and helpful

Reasonable price

I loved the staff on Sunday morning but Saturday's night lady was very rude to talk to.... The pool table was amazing! The location is great! Super close to festival park. The bed was very comfortable

Breakfast was so sad.. no fresh fruit not even just bananas! Very pathetic breakfast all around sadly...The hotel smells of stale smoke that's including hallways and are non-smoking hotel room! Foosball table in the pictures was gone with no notice, stains all over the carpet and the bathroom was dirty

Clean, comfortable bed

Great staff ! Polite helpful friendly people. Breakfast room was was open early and offered a good selection of options. Well organized and staff always available checking everything and cleaning tables after each group of people. I was very comfortable there for our five night stay and would heartily recommend Quality Inn Whitecourt .

Free breakfast and friendly staff

Bed table light does not work

Excellent breakfast

Nothing

Needs some updates

Lady at the front desk is amazing. Great tips on food delivery!

Amazing friendly staff. Super clean. Great breakfast. Dog friendly.

Everything was excellent n the staff were helpful n friendly

Very comfortable bed!!

Very nice quiet hotel, very clean, suites are great and good price. Front desk staff are very nice. Breakfast typical.

Great stay! The staff are so accommodating and friendly

Comfortable stay

Warm breakfast, eggs, and Sousage warm room temperature not freezing cold

This is not a hockey team friendly hotel. They have a page of restrictions purposely made towards hockey teams from socializing. Instead of allowing hockeys to be in one area, they divide your team across the hotel. They close the common area at 9pm and the breakfast ends at 9:30am. They do not accommodate hockey teams that want to meet up and are quick to threaten to remove your deposit if they feel like you are not maintaining their restrictions

Did the trick for a quick stop with the family.

Clean with good breakfast, friendly staff.

Good value and well kept property.

The hotel, staff, room & fireplace, etc were excellent! Just a couple of comments to the Manager. The friendly check in agent didn't tell us that our room was not located in succussion and there were no directional signs. I was on 3rd floor. I went down the hall 3 times... 301, 302, 305, 306. I was very tired & so frustrated. When I went to the elevator to go back to the desk I put my bag down and out of the corner of my eye I saw my room tucked in the corner beside. I get downstairs to meet my brother in the lobby with my sad tale and he had the exact same story! His room was also sneakily in the corner out of order on the 2nd floor. He said he also walked down the hall 3 times and he even went all the way thinking it might be at the end of the hall. It's not safe for anyone to walk the halls alone. I wanted to sleep in after several days of long travel. At 7 am the cleaner was outside with her cart banging and vacuuming the hall and gym & woke me up. I was so ticked. I get that she wanted to get her work done early but later I watched her standing and talking at the front desk. She could have vacuumed later. Aside from these 2 annoyances I highly recommend the hotel. Kudos to all the staff & management.

Wish the pool table was open later than 9

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, good price.

very clean and great staff

The staff were/great. It is a nice clean facility. Definitely recommend it. The 3 stars for the property is because of the exterior renovation going on at this time. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product

Nothing

The place was clean. Tv small in rooms for a person that has limited vision. The main floor hallway was extremely cold. Breakfast was pretty decent. Staff were pleasant.

Overall I was very satisfied with our stay, the only complaints I would say the Temperature throughout the building really varied, Our room was quite warm where as the room where my mom was staying was quite cold and the thermostats didn't seem to matter. As well as in my room (standard king room) the room it's self was great, but I found a humming/ringing noise in the room, not sure if it was from the AC unit on the roof (as we were on the 3rd Floor) the noise did keep me up at night. But I would honestly stay here again. Breakfast was decent, we had access to a pool table and arcade game which came in handy for the rainy day we had. staff was fantastic. I would recommend staying here.

Nice hotel, nice staff,

Very friendly and accommodating staff

The room we stayed in was very old and outdated. The hotel in itself needs a whole redo.

Great place to spend the night. Friendly, helpful staff.

Nice hotel with large rooms. Unfortunately the breakfast was pretty sad. “Eggs” we’re horrible. Like they were out of a carton and made yesterday.

We rented a jacuzzi suite for our anniversary. Choosing this hotel was based mostly on price. It was a lot more reasonably priced than any of the other hotels in town with jacuzzi suites. We loved it! The room was large, with the jacuzzi, walk in shower and a kitchen area. They had a full size fridge in the room, as well as a full size stove/oven. We both remarked on how clean it was, inside and outside the hotel. The breakfast was a normal one that you get in pretty much any hotel, with waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. While our room was non smoking, apparently they have smoking rooms available for those of you who smoke. We would definitely choose this hotel if we were driving through, and who knows? Maybe we'll go back for next year's anniversary!
