The bed was extremely firm, almost like a box with just a thin piece of foam on it.

The TV didn’t work rooms are very worn, one room smells like cigarettes another the AC didn’t work. We ended up with the room with broken TV no discount on room cost. No mention of breakfast. I did nit feel safe had people asking for cigarettes. I will never stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean. The TV didn’t work but this was rectified quickly by staff. The staff were friendly.

There were many persons around there. Some appeared to be living in a nearby park as they were checking garbages. Some were drunk as there is a bar in the hotel. Twice, I was asked for cigarettes and money. Other individuals were sitting outside as they appeared to be staying in rooms. I did not feel safe nor did I like having my vehicle parked there and I worried that it might be broken into. Nothing like that happened, but this is not an area I would stay in again. I believe the hotel would be better off if the bar/ hang out was closed.

Area around hotel was being occupied by 3 groups of unfavourable intoxicated persons with foul language and unfriendly attitudes. The presence of the security person was very much appreciated. Definitely not an area I would stay near on my own or with girlfriends. I was accompanied by a good sized man so felt safe enough. Booked online 30 min prior to arrival but check in took 1/2 hr then I had to return to front desk to make payment.

It wasn't very noisy

Soakertub was relaxing. Location was perfect being just up the street from u of sask.

Everything was a bit beatup but fully functional. Breakfast being a cold english muffin sandwich and a juicebox was lame.

No way to regulate the temp, was really warm. Shady area, lots of people walking around. Room was bland and bed was on the hard side but if you’re just looking for a place to crash on a budget, it works.

The lobby smelled of stale smoke, the carpets were dirty, the hallways smelled moldy. My room‘s paint was peeling around the doors. A thread bare blanket was on the bed. We didn’t end up staying the night. We complain to the front desk and we were charged for one night even though we had booked for two and the damage deposit was returned to us. We told them how dissatisfied and unhappy we were. They didn’t seem to care.

I did not even stay. The property seemed unsafe with all of the drug addicts outside. Rooms were horrible. Dirty and did not even want to set my stuff down on the bed. Left after being there for 2 minutes. Property owner wouldn’t even refund us. Highly. Highly do not recommend this place

I can't fault the hotel but the area is not great. Crackheads hang out in the parking lot.

The elevator smells like dill. During the day the halls and rooms smell fresh but at night they fill with secondhand tobacco and cannabis smoke smells. We were on the second floor and didn’t have our windows open, so these smells came from the hallway through the poorly sealed door. May weatherstripping would help.

Clean up all the junkies around there

Dirty. I lost my payment because it was unwise to stay! Checked room, Mattress had stains, unclean room, Police cruzer and 2 fire trucks outside added to the unsafe feeling. It looked like long term stay for social services. Expedia please refund!

I've stayed there many times, but this time I had a live cockroach crawl up the night stand. We reported it to the front desk.

The room smelled of smoke. The hallway smelled like urine. Linens were stained. Pillows stank and the parking lot and surrounding area had drug attics hanging around. I was unfortunate to have a ground floor room and had people outside my window into the wee hours of the night.

I found cockroaches in my room Was disgusted they didn't do anything about it at the front desk.they said they couldn't help me. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

If you decided to stay even one night here I highly recommend stepping back from your plan,This property was awful, the smell of cigarette smoke in hallway, lobby even inside the room, bath room sink was stuck no drainage of water, no shampoo, no tissue, the fridge was off and totally hot with a bad smell, all bed covers and carpets dirty …completely bad experience !!!!

They are ding some upgrades but still using room in mid - repairs. Walls patched but not painted. Chips in bathroom tub etc attempting to improve finish but not complete.

The room condition and facilities are not too bad. The reception staff is friendly, but the area is not quiet, and the smell of weed vaping is strong around the area.

I had serious reservations about my stay at this hotel. The clientele made me uneasy - there were many suspicious-looking individuals loitering in the hallways at all hours, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. The worst part came at checkout when staff actually prevented me from leaving until they had physically inspected my room. In decades of traveling, I've never encountered such distrustful treatment of a guest. This invasive policy, combined with the questionable environment, made for a very unpleasant experience. While the room itself was clean and the location convenient, these factors can't compensate for the overall discomfort.

Quite the low end terrible place

In two words, filthy and frightening. The hallways stank heavily of tobacco smoke, and the room as well. The bed linens were stained and smelled like a dirty ashtray. The tub was stained, and with a cigarette burn on the side. The walls were spattered with filth and unwashed. The area seems to shelter some of Saskatoon's homeless population, and the hotel residents mostly seem to be sheltered there, with frequent interactions with the unhoused population. We might have opened a window to air out the room, but as my wife noted, there was a bag of garbage (and a used car tire) just in front of that window - not likely to improve the odours in the room. On the upside - the staff were polite. But the room was stinky, dirty, and the setting scary.

Arrived at hotel, people passed out outside who looked to be under the influence of something. Very dirty outside. Quickly processed at the desk. Hotel smelled of cigarettes. Ground level floor had interior and exterior door. adjacent room was constantly banging on their door for people to get in. People were up all night screaming across the hallway and in room till 2 am. First night I stepped out for dinner and came back to a parking lot full of cops cruisers. Spent the day away from the hotel on day2 but when I got back in there was a lady fumblings a bag of chips infront of the door with security yelling at her to leave. Had to get my card reactivated and had to wait as they were calling the cops. Next mornging I needed to wait for the front desk guy to inspect my room in order to get my deposit back ($200). Seems like they are used to a less responsible clientelle.

Room had dirty rags left behind after cleaning staff left. Directory left in room was covered in a filth. Parking was tight.

The location is in the middle of the city which makes it easy to access other places however there are a lot of drunk people hanging around the hotel and it can throw you off when with kids especially. Also, there were people screaming outside the room all night and it was disturbing

Wow where to start! The absolute worst place I have ever stayed in my life! The first night i was kind of creeped out by the place but gave it the benefit of the doubt because it was the only place close to where I needed to be, it was ama approved and booking.com approved! It was a little dirty, like water around the sink and stuff on the floor, bed was clean uncomfortable but still clean! I left early in the morning to be to my appt and was gone all day and had to stay another night. By the time I got back to my room that evening I walked in to see that it was cleaned! Way cleaner than the day before so I then knew that my first nights stay was in a hotel room that had not been cleaned! Then I hear fights and banging and security came and removed some people, a little while later more banging and someone else getting told to leave, then it happens again and goes in for about 20 min before I finally called the desk to send someone up! Finally they come and and they gets sent out! Then out of the corner of my eye I see a cockroach!! Frigg this I’m out! Loaded up my stuff as fast as I could and leave!! Shocked to discover homeless in the hallways everywhere! I put my stuff in the car and go to the desk and tell them I am leaving for the above reasons and he said he was charging me for the night anyways! I lost my sh$t and was shocked that they would even think of it! I did not pay for the second night but he refused to refund my first night!

Mold on cieling in shower Beds were excellent. Very little covers/ duvet.

Room was very hot, couldn’t control the temperature. And very noisy in hallway all night, hardly slept due to this. Went to check out and front desk guy checked my room when I paid with my credit card? Bad service all around.

We had people screaming down the halls between 12-4 am, a cigarette butt was left in the room, and it smelled like smoke although supposed to smoke free.

It was fine for the night. Staff was helpful. There was some arguing in another room, but I can't hold the hotel responsible for that.

It was dirty , there was blood on our bathroom door , garbage left in our sheets , staff was extremely rude and we were not able to get a refund . They should not be allowed to rent this hotel it should be shut down for safety and health reasons. I have never been so disgusted with a hotel ever . I slept fully clothed on top of the bedding . Health inspectors should really take a look at this place . Also their ad should be taken down because it’s a scam the place looks nothing like what it shows on the website . Next time I’ll make sure to read all reviews.

Needed more towels in bathroom. Only enough for one person. We were too tired to call for more. Garbage and shopping carts outside of rooms opening to parking made me wonder about the area/other guests.

The hotel itself would have been fine except for the group of homeless people loittering in the lobby. It was the first night of a cold snap and they were trying to get warm, but they were holding the outside door open and smoking in the lobby. They were obviously under the influence as well. The smell funneled upstairs to my room and was rather gross. The staff were good about sending them on their way, but a couple got past and were walking the hallways on the second floor. The police eventually showed up and the next night there were less of them. There were people in the back parking lot talking and walking around at all hours of the night as well.

Checked in and left immediately. Asked to get my money back but couldn’t get a refund because I paid online. Total dump with sketchy people all over. Don’t stay here.

When we got to our outside entrance, there was garbage and dog poop all over. Only 1 bath towel. And smelled like cigarette smoke. Black hairs in the bed.
