Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Saskatoon East - University by IHG

Great location. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Everything was great

Nothing

Breakfast was good. Room was excellent. Location was perfect since our daughter had to go to the university.

Thought the rooms would be a bit quieter since it is a new build. But would stay again if/when needed.

Lighting in the bedroom/sitting area was not adequate.

The room was nice. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and the breakfast staff were good.

The front desk staff were not that helpful. When asked if there was anywhere to eat in walking distance they didn’t have an answer (nice restaurant and fast food one block away) and they told us the bridge to downtown was closed. It wasn’t. The hotel is catagorized as downtown and it isn’t, particularly when the staff tell you the nearby bridge to downtown is closed.

Excellent staff response to inquiries. Very comfortable beds, including the sofa bed.

They were out of things in their shop.

Pool breakfast

Was great

breakfast was great the breakfast facility not big enough

FOR THE SIZE OF THE HOTEL AND THE 2 HOTELS TOGETHER AT PRIME TIME NOT NEARLY ENOUGH ELEVATORS

Would highly recommend! 😊

It was quiet, clean and in an excellent location.

I have no complaints.

The staff is helpful, friendly and professional. Check in is quick. The room was clean and spacious. The parking was very full but they were sold out and we still found a spot. The breakfast is good for everyone. I have many food restrictions and I can always find something to eat. They always take our special requests seriously. 6th time staying at this hotel.

There was a small piece of debris on the floor when we arrived. No big deal but it always makes you wonder how well the room is vacuumed. OTherwise the room was spotless.

No restaurant, sign in was lengthy despite prior online completion of information.

Breakfast. It is awful. Everything is overloaded with sugar and/or overprocessed, overboiled eggs. Coffee was disgusting. Besides fruits, the rest was inedible. Unfortunately, the other guest did not seem to be bothered.

Vue depuis 9ieme étage

Climatisation chambre trop bruyante Vibration, bruit extérieur à la chambre durant toute la nuit (clim, machine à laver ..?)

Cleanliness

Location and parking. Bed is comfy

Elevator gets busy and crowded

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

In the bathroom you could hear guests in another room talking. I think the sound was travelling through the fan.

Clean friendly

Excellent facility and good location for our stay. We really enjoyed toyed complimentary breakfasts and convenient parking. The room was very comfortable and well appointed.

The bedding was a bit of a disappointment because the fitted sheets were to small for the mattress and kept coming off at night.

Breakfast was awful

Real food

The place and surrounding

The pool section no proper ventilation or exhaust so humid and hot

Breakfast was great - continental style with lots of options. Rooms and beds were extremely comfortable. And facilities (gym, pool, etc...) looked new. Free parking for guests was a plus.

Location, friendly staff, great breakfast, everything worked, bed was comfortable, and quiet.

No kettle, glass cups vs plastic.

Clean Great breakfast

Sucky shower

Property is clean and convenient

Everything was awesome.... bed was a little hard.

Overwhelmed and delicious. Clean and satisfying.

You need to add more condiments like ketchup

Clean,friendly, location

Price

Clean and close to the university

Poor breakfast (American-like quality). Soft mattress. Extremely expensive.

To keep the room cool the air conditioner was running continuously so it was not comfortable

Excellent - as always!!

-How close it was to getting to the hospital. -Breakfast was great! -Clean and tidy

Went back to the desk to finish check in after getting something figured out, then went back to the desk and the one lady that originally helped me, and she left while I was standing there waiting, so I thought she was going to come back and help me, so I went to the other lady and told her I was standing there waiting and ready to check in now and she was kind enough to finish helping me.

Well maintained, very clean and comfortable.

Nothing to not like

Best coffee, great breakfast!

Need better lightening by the long mirror in our room.

The breakfast.

Convenient

It was great lovely lobby

Breakfast was good, room was clean and neat, busy place

Room rate could have been better

Location for me is great, shuttle service, staff from front desk, shuttle service driver are excellent!

Yes I did

I absolutely loved everything

far parking

Great Location for what we needed.

The shower in the rooms suck big time no pressure.

Is very close to Royal University Hospital

Quick check in.. beautiful view

Non

The room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

There is nothing you have to improve on but if you had a lounge there that would be nice but not a necessity.

Well taken care of.

It was all good.

Clean comfortable.

Very friendly staff, ready to help with everything. The facilities were great and the rooms very clean. There was great attention to detail in this hotel, everything worked really well. Even the doors in the rooms were closing slowly to avoid the noise. Breakfast was not very rich, but everything was very tasty and good quality (perhaps the scrabbled eggs should be less cooked).

Honestly, nothing. I would stay in there again, for sure.

Atendimento dos funcionarios

Cafe da manhã regular

It was a very beautiful, neat location

The window or air conditioner unit had a fair amount of draft of cold air coming in

Great selection of items and very pleasant staff making everyone was assisted. I thought that the sound barrier door was a fantastic idea to create that quiet environment. Also, the darkening shade was very effective.

The entire experience was pleasant the the planning of the hotel was very thoughtful.

We like the breakfast, I have an egg allergy and there is always lots for me to eat.

n/a

Nicely appointed. Good pool and gym. Room was big enough, clean, comfortable.

Breakfast needs to improve. But it’s close. Just some better fresh fruit options, maybe some fruit compote for the pancakes, better quality eggs. It’s not far off.

Breakfast was GREAT so much variety! Room was immaculate. Hotel was very clean. Staff was super friendly! Accommodations were fantastic. Pool was very lovely and clean! Water/coffee/tea accessible at all times! Very impressed, will definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was good.

Wifi was complicated for non-technical oldies

Breakfast is the standard powdered egg, waffle maker machine, fake cereal. Coffee good.

The rooms

Small pool

Breakfast was very nice.

Pool was a but crowded.

The pool was very nice, beds were comfy & breakfast was amazing.

Breakfast was good.

The temperature in the room wasn’t constant. Would get too cold, even adjusting heat.

Beds were comfy room was okay. It was quiet.

When we got there we got charged extra after paying for the room in full online. the front desk person was wrong with her information and misleading on the information she was giving. Disappointed with the extra charges after paying in full. I feel ripped off and I believe the staff there need to be updated and giving the proper information. Won't book again unless things change. Will not recommend to any of my family nor friends. Pool deck was gross with hair and other things on the deck. Pool was good. Hot tub jets didn't work as great but was ok.

Front desk staff was amazing !

The creepy glass elevator

Breakfast was exceptional. Appreciate the sugar free options, and good decaf coffee. Hotel is great, clean and the staff were good.

Refused a receipt on check out. I was told that because I used booking.com to book it, because I couldn’t get onto their site, they wouldn’t give me a receipt. It is needed for medical reasons.

Beds were great.

Expensive for a sleep but that’s how it is these days.

It seems there are two hotels in the building. My visitor knocked on the wrong room and felt embarrassed. The management should clearly inform customers that this building has two hotels with rooms that share the same numbers.

Comfortable

Backward driveways to parking lots.

The hotel had an open lobby that was bright and open. The staff were friendly and location great for us. The room was bright with two windows, temperature could be adjusted and it was very clean. There was also a small sitting area where we not only had a few meals but also played a few games in the evening. The pool area was bright and very clean. We would stay there again.

Nothing.

Tge hotel was right across the street from the university campus so it was very convenient for our our Granddaughter to walk over from the campus to visit us at the hotel. The breakfast was good.
