Friendly checking and location is central to a few restaurants and pubs and easy exit to freeway.

An overall impression is place needs an upgrade. Paint pealing in the rooms, old ac and can units, no hangers or hooks in entire suite , no towel racks , towels didn't appear very clean, noisy from above and all other suites, old sqeaky uncomfotable beds ,terrible breakfast with no coffee and stale muffins , egos and white bread . No one on front desk at 8:00 am to check out or help. Will not go back again. This place is the poorest Travelodge I've stayed in . Sorry, but being honest

The breakfast was a joke. There was frootloops, a two slice toaster for bread and eggo waffles. It is old and rundown. Not what I would expect from a Wyndham hotel. The best thing I have to say it was clean and I didn’t see any bugs

The front desk staff was great.

It was overall not very clean, ended up sleeping on top of the blankets. Air conditioner was loud and made for a hard sleep. Expensive for what it was.

Wyndham name means little. The reception area counter was grimy. Sidewalks outside of rooms filthy. Ash buckets. Cigarette butts. Moldy smell in bathroom. Floors not clean. No where to walk your pets. The beds were clean. The staff nice. But overall I would never stay there again. Or recommend it to anyone. I will question independently owned Wyndham properties before booking one.

Location

It was very dirty inside. There were bottles and cigarettes everywhere outside. The duvet had a huge hole in it.

Location off Hwy was good! I didn’t have breakfast! Room was clean, nice size , The lady in the office assisted with bringing in a bag I needed from my car! Also dealt twice with one of the staff re TV & lamp! Both times he was helpful & polite!

Access to room! I’m mobility challenged & there was basically 2 steps into the room & nothing to hold onto ( in future I will ask specifically for a handicap room) No instructions for the T V. I also found the toilet to be very low

The room was very dated and in need of repair. The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast, some bread, eggos and a toaster.

The location was excellent as we were travelling through the Rockies. This was a good spot when travelling back to Vancouver

We specifically booked a non-smoking room, yet were assigned Room #123, which reeked of cigarette smoke the moment we opened the door. There was no mistaking, it was obvious the room had been smoked in. We were exhausted after a long day and only staying for one night, so we chose not to waste time requesting another room. That said, we shouldn’t have had to make that choice. By the time we checked out, all of our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. The bed was equally disappointing. It squeaked loudly with even the slightest movement, making it nearly impossible to sleep without waking each other up. A basic expectation of any hotel is a comfortable, quiet bed, and this one failed miserably. The condition of the property was also unacceptable. The hallways were dirty, stained, and littered with cigarette butts everywhere. It gave the impression that smoking is tolerated throughout the property, despite offering non-smoking rooms. To make matters worse, the air conditioner is manually controlled. If the room gets too warm or too cold during the night, you’ll have to get out of bed to adjust it yourself. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. A non-smoking room should actually be smoke-free, and the poor cleanliness, uncomfortable bed, and outdated amenities made the experience far below what we expected. I would not stay here again unless these issues are addressed

Zero sound proofing. We could hear the TV next door and people talking outside all night long. Parking lot was terrible and at times was blocked by random vehicles so could not get in or out. The continental breakfast was comical. Toast, stale cereal, and some yogurt. Toilet would barely flush. Shower would not drain. Absolutely NOT worth the $175 per night I paid, in fact, it’s irritating that they get away with charging that much.

Excellent location close to everything. Vinnie and I were extremely helpful as they helped arrange taxis and went over and beyond with any help I needed both on the phone and in person. I would stay there again.

The little corner room was perfect for me. Didnt hear a sound from outside.

Breakfast was basic, toast, cereal and yogurt. I have had much better. Room was dismal but clean. Not even a hook to hang a coat! No closet. Bed was terrible, lumpy and squeaked with every movement, I would recommend replacement .

Electrical outlet in bathroom did not work. No power to the outlet. Quite a lot of areas in need of reapair. Would not recommend. We do use the Travelodge brand on occasion, but this hotel does not reflect the brand well

The room was dirty, especially the floors. When I walked on the floor in my socks they were black on the bottom. The air conditioner was very high on the wall that I couldn’t reach it. The calking was peeling all around the bath and there was dirt in the corner between the tub and the door.

The beds were comfortable. The rate for the dog was good. The location was good.

There was not a kettle to boil water for tea. The peanut butter pads were open from being squished. There was yogurt and bread. No juice. The password for the wifi was not given and could not find in room.

One of the beds was hard as a rock and my partner is still sore 2 days later. Breakfast is lackluster for the price, suite was outdated af.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was nice , adequate as comlimentary.

Room cold on arrival. No directions re operating tv. Had to go out of room to reception when requiring assistance as phone was unplugged. Firm bed base creaked. Had to ask for tea and milk. Floor was dirty as my feet were dirty when stepped in the bath. Taps difficult to operate

Great location, fantastic staff. The beds are comfortable and the linens were nice. The 2 double bed rooms on the main floor are quite small so best for families. The coffee was good but the breakfast options were limited but again, good for families with children. Very good value and I would definitely recommend and return. Thank you.

The room was quite small but functional. I would have liked something fresh for breakfast but the available options like waffles and yogurt would be a hit with kids.

The staff were friendly, but I was shocked by how outdated the facilities were.

The family that run this place were lovely.

Airco sounded like a CN train in the room. Windows not able to be opened. Very noisy and ancient airco. A subtle whiff of urine permeated the room in spite of the proprietors best efforts. Paint peeling on walls and ceiling. The wash basin in the antiquated counter had small flies crawling out of the overflow and mosquitos hovered around. The bath was missing a plug and showering delivered half a stream of water coming out of shower head and other half out of bath tap.

Pros: Nice people. Bed was clean. Cons: Railing was loose and did not I still confidence walking up with a senior who needed the support. Stove top wasn’t clean. Big bucket of cigarette butts outside a room.

We arrived at 10:30pm to sleep, left at 8:30am. Beds were clean and comfortable, the place was quiet, there was coffee on n the morning. It was exactly what we needed.

Staff helpful. Suite clean and bed comfortable. Older part of Merrit so lots homeless around but had no problems. Quick overnight stay while travelling. Would stay again if needed to.

The was not enough parking (when returned from event at 10PM), we could hear the people talking in room beside us and people walking around upstairs, the shower suddenly became very hot at one point.
