Breakfast was good. Beach was poor.

The beach has machines working all day trying to create a beach with rocks for about 2km. The rooms smell of mould and couldn’t sleep on pillows. When I complained about it they came with spray which fixed the problem for 10 minutes.

This was our first visit to Bali, and staying at Orlowsky made it an unforgettable experience. We stayed in the three-bedroom villa with our family, and it was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing together. The hotel’s staff deserve the highest praise. They were always kind, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. They responded quickly to every request, were proactive in finding solutions, and showed remarkable flexibility in meeting guests’ needs. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We would like to express our sincere gratitude and deepest appreciation to the entire team for making our first Bali holiday so special. Bali itself was absolutely amazing, and this accommodation was a wonderful place to experience it.

The villa could benefit from some renovation and modernization, although it was still very comfortable and everything worked well. Unfortunately, there was no direct access to the beach because the waterfront was undergoing reconstruction. However, the hotel handled this situation exceptionally well by providing convenient transportation to the beautiful White Sand Beach, which we greatly appreciated.

It’s perfectly located, short walk to the strip. The bungalows are very spacious. The staff are amazing, but it’s Bali, so of course they are! Lovely views to the gills too.

Only thing is the construction of the path, but you’re going to get that all the way along Candidasa.

Les services, massages, yoga... Les loisirs, la piscine, la plage et la mer. Les plaisirs de la table. Les divertissements, spectacle de danse et musique traditionnelle. Les tours proposé avec chauffeur (il faudrait un chauffeur francophone). Le personnel très professionnel, répondant à nos demandes, très courtois et souriant, cela donne envie de revenir. Je recommande cet établissement.

The property presented well and the staff were lovely. Main Pool area was very nice and the spa staff were experienced and friendly. The restaurant was well staffed and attentive and the breakfasts were nice.

The villa was not comfortable enough for 5 adults for a lengthy stay. Only two pool side chairs / recliners were available for a villa that accommodates up to 6 people. Other than that there was. 6 seater dining setting which is really comfortable to lounge around in. We did ask for some more softer seating / recliners and were given 3 bean bags for which we made do. The kitchen lacked basic necessities like a dish cloth and tea towel to clean up after yourself (can’t always wait for housekeeping) Coffee cups were tiny! We did have to purchase kitchen items to make our stay more practical. Not all the beds were comfortable it was the luck of the draw. One bed had to be repaired while we were there. The restaurant was nice but don’t order the lobster! Given it’s the more expensive dish the Chef we had didn’t know how to cook it. Pan fried and loaded with garlic 😢! Poor lobster was not given the respect it should have…..yes I was dissatisfied with this meal. They did give me a slice of cake to make up for it which was nice…but it didn’t help my lobster dish.

Everything was amazing, clean, warm greedings, very polite staff, delicious food and silence.

Although we expected to encounter insects and share the space with the geckos we found in the first floor dormitory a black scorpion, which has not been a harmful encounter, it could have definitely been if the little creature managed to get in a shoe or in the bed. A better management of repelents and insecticides would be helpful

Huge room and well appointed. Nice views. Very quiet at night time and it was walking distance to plenty of cafés shops and massage businesses.

The pebble finish in the shower was much too sharp and rough on the feet. The restaurant could not be closed off completely from wind driven rain.

Great food, friendly staff, clean facilities. Good access to the street. Excellent beach area. Good night show. Good Wi-Fi internet.

Dark rooms, satellite TV not working properly. No English channels, mostly Indonesian, toilet cistern not filling up, soap dispenser, hard to lock the front door, no gluten free option at the restaurant.

The hotel grounds were great, spacious room, many little nooks and crannies to hide from the sun and all nicely spaced out. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff

Housekeeping at 8:30?? I've never experienced this, very early. Pillows were huge, quite uncomfortable. And worst part was the big red ants in the bathroom. I know its Bali, but still. We stayed in other hotels and they had none. Also smell of sewage in the bathroom

Clean and well looked after by the lovely staff. Like everywhere in Bali, the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Villa was good size and our little pool was good size and nice to cool down in. Outside kitchen area good size too and really useful. Location was nice and swimming pool was clean.

Food was ok but nothing to shout about. We ate breakfast every day as it was included but ate in nearby restaurants for other meals. Beach area isn’t really a beach, but it is nice and when the tide is going out you can swim and snorkel.

Friendly staff, lovely rooms and food was yummy. Spa services were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed

The Hotel wouldn't offer a reimbursement for 2 days where our flight was cancelled. Approx $1800 AUD. Travel insurance wouldn't cover it for everyone as it was in my name only and they would only cover 1 person. We paid extra to get to the hotel for 2 days only and it was very dissapointing. Many hotels would have offered a reimbursement as goodwill and to ensure returning customers.

Lovely quiet location. Stunning ocean/ island views and cosy small private beach. Stylish cottage with all amenities. Great restaurant on site (where they also organise themed dinners). Spa is recommended too. Housekeeping, reception and the restaurant staff are all amazing: professional, proactive, friendly and caring. Matur suksma! :)

We booked a snorkelling trip with the hotel but reception asked for more than it was stated in the room's folder, they said they had a new contract with a fisherman. The boat was quite dated and we felt the trip was overpriced (too short, crowded spot).

Excellent hotel at a great location with super service. We stayed in one of the villa,s with private pool, right on the beach. The resort has great amenities with an excellent restaurant (with many local Balinese options), pool and spa. All tcustom made rips and excursions line snorkelling, diving and hiking can we booked directly via the reception. Service at the Discovery is absolutely fabulous. I never met nice people always willing to help you and provide world class service.

the private villa was exceptional, the reception staff and the house keeping staff were great and very helpful , the restaurant had fantastic food and the spa attendants were excellent and it was only a short walk to the main street area for shopping.

A lovely property, right on the beach. Our enormous villa had amazing ocean views and was very well appointed. The master bath was almost large enough to have a table tennis match in! The inhouse restaurant is pretty much all you need if you want a meal or drink with a view of beautiful Candidasa at reasonable prices. I'd recommend the villa with private pool for familes and longer stays because that's how all the amenities are set up.

Everything, staff were great nothing was too much trouble. Great views from the restaurant, location was great walking distance to restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Nice location and very well laid out with privacy and spacious accommodations. Staff was excellent, very welcoming and friendly.

Slightly old property so maintenance needs to be spruced up. The swimming pool is a bit small plus, should have a shade covering it to ensure residents can use anytime (since during afternoons it gets very sunny).

Not the cheapest hotel, but very comfortable. Spacious houses in a green environment, excellent staff, good kitchen (definitely try the Balinese rice table). Don't expect parties in Candidassa but do expect peace and quiet. We felt treated like royalty

Location, quiet, private beach, gardens, size of the villa (2 story villa with private pool), cleanliness (daily clean), very friendly staff. Close to mainstreet with a variety of restaurants, warungs, supermarkets, ATM's and bars. Very convenient electric scooters can be hired at the resort (A$2 per hour)

The villa allocated to us, we rejected because none of the bigger double story villas are surrounded by a wall and leave you very exposed to people walking past (also due to the very open ground floorplan) without any privacy. We opted for another villa which was positioned differently without the path right in front of the open living area. Also the main living area with kitchen and dining table did not have a tv and neither the bedrooms. There was just 1 tv upstairs in a livingroom.

Beautifully landscaped. Great views on to the ocean and sunsets. Very much geared towards families and couples.

Villas are a bit dated. Towels and linens are perfectly clean, but rather grey due to overuse/age.

Lovely location, very quiet we could not hear the tragic on the busy road. The staff were very nice, courteous and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast included was delicious and very plentiful. We also had 2 lovely evening meals.

The bathroom while clean, it was a bit dated. The towels were old and worn, could do with new towels.

This is one of the best places we have been in! The staff is super polite and friendly and the whole place is stunning! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. The garden and the restaurant are beautifully decorated and the food here is amazing. Also, they can organize different activities for you and we were surprised about the fact that we got such a good price for booking snorkeling in the Blue Lagoon with the hotel, it was cheaper than the other offers we have seen. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place!

Smiley and polite staff, excellent foods, great panorama, and several steps from the sea, hairdryer provided, complimentary birthday cake, great massage.

No sandals provided and there is no sandy beach but directly the sea.

The hotel was very clean, great sea view from the restaurant and pool.Rooms and bathrooms were large, great size fridge. Breakfast was not a buffet, cooked as ordered. We found the American breakfast generous .

How personnel try to help

bad broken air conditioner at room 113. the pool area is not really Safe, with electricity plugs right near water. the menu of the restaurant and the atmosphere there needs refreshment staff are nice and trying hard, but the menu is too ancient, no pictures and no languages. this drips down the whole level. plus I would add that all is made out of cheapest fruits than it was in 2020. level of food dropped down since I last time visited your hotel.

The rooms where spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and local shops. The breakfast was nice and staff really attentive. We loved our stay ❤️

The mattress was a bit hard

Beautiful view, friendly and accommodating staff members. Very clean facilities. Massage therapist on site daily. The ladies were amazing! Very close to restaurants and shopping.

Candidasa is perfect for a relaxation spot - not much shopping if that is what you are after.

Fantastic staff, food, location, gardens and view. A lovely quiet spot in Candidasa where you can fall asleep to the sound of waves and cicadas. We loved the private pool and the spacious connecting rooms, we felt valued and blessed to be there. Wonderful masseur on site too. A good base for exploring the area - we used a local driver called Ketut Daging (Tony) who was a really decent fellow and thoughtfully took us all over (markets, temples, gardens, snorkelling..). We ate in the hotel which was really good and also at Vincents. We booked the Discovery Cottages less than a day before turning up (our trip to Komodo was cancelled due to the strike over increased park fees) so it felt like a rushed decision but we did not regret it.

Pleased to be supporting the hotel and staff as they recover from the pandemic, it must have been terrible. Would recommend that if possible they invest in a good old spruce up - a lick of paint, checking every socket or lamp, looking for signs of wear and tear.

Very amazing Hotel with great Service!

Lovely resort. Our air con was not working well and since the rooms are a bit back from the beach it was very hot! Other than that, a lovely hotel an easy walk from Vincent's, candidasa's best restaurant.

Gibt die Note 'ausreichend': neue Anlage gewesen, aber haben die Räumlichkeiten nicht optimal genutzt bzw. ausgebaut. Klimaanlage kühlt nicht richtig, bei 30 Grad und schwülem Wetter nicht so praktisch. Viel zu klein um die cottages zu versorgen, war sehr sehr laut, so dass man dauerbeschallt wurde als würde man neben einer Turbine stehen. Habe an der Rezeption mich zweimal beschwert und auch schon den Manager einmal am Telephon gehabt. haben mir versichert jemanden zu schicken um es zu reparieren, aber in den drei Tagen dort ist nichts passiert und keiner hat Anstalten gemacht uns nochmals zu fragen ob alles in Ordnung ist oder nicht. Sehr enttäuschend! Würde das keinem empfehlen, wenn er nichts dagegen hat bei 30 Grad und mit Oropax zu schlafen.

Hotel bien sauf la piscine petite et souvent à l'ombre. Pas de plage. Beau jardin et personnel souriant et efficace.

처음에 2박예약 했었는데 단독 객실이 깔끔하고 깨끗해서 2박 더 추가했었어요~ 수영작이 좀 작아서 아쉬웠지만 대체로 뷰가 아름다운 리조트입니다

Ett mycket trevligt och välskött hotel, där all personal vi var i kontakt med pratade okej engelska. I området (gångavstånd) finns massor av resturanger. Poolen var bra och det gick att bada från en trappa i havet. Mycket solstolar och solbäddar så man kunde komma ner när som och ändå få välja. Vi skulle lätt kunna tänka oss att bo här igen, okej frukost och bra med flygplatstransport osv. (som ingår).

チャンディダサの中心街の端にあり、徒歩で町中に行けるので便利です。ホテルが海岸と接しているのですが、それほど広いスペースがあるわけではありません。 部屋はコテージタイプで広かったですが、運が悪かったのかエアコンの効きが悪かったです。 たまたま宿泊した日が大晦日でガラディナーをお願いしました。夕食は普通でしたが、ライブや民族舞踊もあり、また時々波打ち際に行ったり、またスタッフはとても親切でゆっくりした時間を過ごすことができました。 ただ、お手軽リゾートという印象で新婚旅行には向かないと思います。

3度目の宿泊です（前回は昨年9月）。変わらないスタッフのフレンドリーな対応、 清潔な室内で満足です。 今回、夜になると室内天井からガサガサ音がするのが気になりましたが。。 このまま、清潔感のあるホテルであって欲しいです。 朝食は、ビュッフェからアラカルトに戻っていて良かったです＾＾

A quiet, comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is good - with wide selection of American, Vegetarian and Indonesia menu.

abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti in un bungalow. tutto positivo, fatta eccezione per le molte zanzare e gechi presenti in camera. l'hotel si trova in una stradina sterrata completamente buia alla sera, ma in pochi minuti è possibile raggiungere la strada principale con negozietti e ristoranti

Goede prijs kwaliteitverhouding. ligt mooi aan zee. Ontbijt is matig.

Cannot commend the staff they are very efficient nice welcoming forever wanting to help, however the 3 bedroom villa was unfortunate older than views on website meals were extremely nice high price and the day spa was in U.S. Dollars expensive, cable TV was limited to Indonesian TV

This place is situated in such an amazing view. Right by the ocean. We stayed in a villa with as a group of 6. We had amazing massages. This is a quiet resort and we may have been a little loud, but they were still very welcoming.
