We liked the location and that it was all self contained- cooking facilities, table, chairs cutlery etc. it was a very quiet location & centrally located.

Spacious rooms, close to the main area with many restaurants open late.

Haven't received check-in instructions so we had to call and ask about these. Once we talked to them on the phone, they confirmed they'd meet us at the reception area so no issues with that.

Everyone was very accomodating - especially with our schedule which was late arrival, early checkout. Also appreciate that office looked for more shampoo for us after we got off Heaphy track!

The cooking area. Not enough work area. The bench could have been longer with the microwave in a elevated position. Not enough power outlets.

A good location , 7/8 minute walk to town centre with numerous bars and restaurants . There is a pub a 5 minute walk from the hotel in the opposite direction. It appears to be student accommodation, but we had no issues regarding noise or anything to disturb us . Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room , for two people, only had a desk , no table for eating on , even though there were cooking facilities in the room .

The room had most necessary things and was clean to begin with. Location to nelspnncity was handy.

The bed was atrocious!. Didn't sleep for 3x nights. It was a double, not queen, was uneven and incredibly uncomfortable. We took turns sleeping on the floor. The room was never serviced and the front desk was rarely manned.

The manager is friendly, cheerful and eager to help. The location is great and the rooms are clean.

Unexpectedly loud neighbours screaming, laughing and having really loud conversations at all the hours of the night and early morning. The blinds also don't really shut out the light, bring a mask if that bugs you.

Appartement was really dark, and lacks any warmth. Purely utilitarian. No window in the bathroom. Kitchen was really basic so we decided to go out.

Plus 1 chambre étudiant qu'1 appartement hotel. Seulement 1 chaise pour 2 personnes, 1 fauteuil. Pas de table pour déjeuner mais 1 bureau contre le mur: pas très pratique ni confortable. Kitchenette très étroite, au pied du lit.

Kitchen was satisfactory but needed a chopping board and dishwasher brush. Small complaint I know but I was on dishes.

Great location, friendly service. Room was basic but functional. Free street parking just outside. Short walk to queen's gardens, cafe's and shops. Very quiet area.

Some noice from the front door which was just outside our room. The door slammed shut every time someone used it.

I missed her name but the kiwi lady who checked us in was absolutely amazing, one of the friendliest most helpful people I’ve ever come across. Went above and beyond, couldn’t be more stoked with her service. Super chill and down to earth too, such a cool chick

the location was good very near to city center and other amenities, however these are student apartments , so very basic facilities. the lighting was very poor in all rooms . and the air vent/exhaust in the bathroom was very small to take all steam out while shower is running.

The information about the apartment didn't mention it was student accomodation. Although the rooms were clean , it was rather a tight space for 4 adults and kitchen area was tiny. Not really an apartment. No lifts for ease of getting suitcases upstairs - especially for older folks with restricted mobility. Walls very thin - so noises from adjacent rooms could be heard easily.

Location. Very central. Friendly staff.

Very disappointed with the kitchen equipment. The whole point of us booking an appartement that, it was said on the ad, featured an actual kitchen, was to enjoy having an actual kitchen. We tried cooking with the very little equipment provided and had a disastrous experience. It took ages for the stove top to actually cook our food, and the lack of something as simple as a strainer made cooking pasta very difficult. There is also almost zero space so chopping an onion is a challenge. Won't book again.

I was woken up on Friday night by drunk young people talking extremely loudly in the corridor for a long time so not good sound proofing

Very well priced for a pretty central location - easy to walk around the city from here. Helpful at reception. Everything you need for a stay.

Noise from other guests/residents a little annoying

A nice room in what appeared to be a university dormitory setting. Nicely equipped with modest appliances for home food preparation. Clean with comfortable bed.

My only dislike was a halogen light outside which shone brightly into the room causing me to have the shades drawn the entire stay. And it flickered all the night as well.
