The staff refused to refill our water bottles and insisted that we pay for their bottled water. In a hotel that’s pretty crazy, especially when you can’t drink the tap water. Also the breakfast doesn’t really get refilled, and unless you like mackerel for breakfast you may find it limited in terms of protein.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Right in the city centre, easy to get to from the train station. Breakfast was varied and good quality.
I was blissfully unaware that smoking rooms still existed in the world. When checking in I was told I would be in a smoking room. When asked if I could not be as a non smoker I was told I would have to pay extra which seems unfair that I should suffer for my choice not to smoke? The room itself was clean and did not smell of smoke however, people in the rooms next door were clearly smoking and the smell leeched through into my room which made it unbearable at times. The tiny single bed mattress also had zero support and I basically slept in a v shape. Looks nice on photos, is not as advertised. Be warned.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026The room had everything we needed for a short stay, and there was plenty of option for breakfast
The lift didn’t go to the top floor, so we had to carry all of our bags the rest of the way We got a message two days before to say we needed to respond or our booking would be cancelled, which I felt entirely unnecessary. We were also in a place with no real signal, and when we finally did respond it was ignored anyway, so it was stressful for no reason We asked about the easiest way to get to the airport and the price given for a car was double that of Grab The area the hotel is in is a bit sketchy, we barely walked around but when we did we had local men passing comments and another urinating openly in the street
