The LimeTree Hotel, Kuching

The room was clean , bedsheets were nice and comfy , good shower. They had a simple but nice breakfast, we had nice stay .

Just a minor point , walls are not soundproof so you can hear people talking in the corridor ( if they are loud ) . The bathroom is clean except for some spots that need new grouting around the wash basin . Otherwise all is good .

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect to explore Kutching. The rooms were clean, a good size, had everything we needed and had a focus on reducing single use waste. We were part of a group and they accomodated our rooms next to each other. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for vegetarians too. The laundry service was great and the rooftop bar offered lovely views over the river.

The hotel was in an excellent location, it was super clean with everything we needed. We really liked the environmentally friendly aspect of reducing waste and disposable use items. Breakfast was excellent with a big range of items to choose from. The rooftop bar was lovely with bar snacks, drinks and a great view to the river and beyond.

Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile, in particolare una menzione per il receptionist Lopez. Colazione adeguata, sia dolce che salata. Posizione abbastanza centrale, il Waterfront è raggiungibile a piedi in 15 minuti a piedi. Zona sicura e tranquilla. Hotel super consigliato per qualità-prezzo.

Bella struttura, moderna, dotata di camere essenziali ma ben tenute e pulite. Posizione un pò fuori dal centro ma a due passi da una via piena di ristoranti e servizi vari. Prente terrazza con bar all'ultimo piano per rilassarsi a fine giornata.

Nulla di particolare se non le camere un può piccole se si viaggia con bagagli ingombranti

Clean, fairly spacious and had a water dispenser in addition to the daily complimentary bottled water

Hotel is next to a main road so it can get quite noisy. I was given a room on the lowest floor facing the main road, and had a hard time sleeping as there were loud motorcycle throughout the night. However, I requested for a room change and the concierge kindly accommodated to my request.

Das Zimmer und auch das Bad haben eine gute Größe, das Bett ist bequem und die AC funktioniert tadellos. Das Zimmer und auch das ganze Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal durchwegs freundlich und hilfsbereit, ichbhabe mich dadurch sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Dachterrasse ist gerade am Abend ein Highlight! Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale Lage, vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar.

Bon hotel, ben ubicat a prop de tot, habitació senzilla però gran i neta. Esmorzar molt correcte. És un bon hotel per tenir-lo com a punt base per inspeccionar la zona. Tornaríem!

Le service est exceptionnel et le confort est très grand. L’hôtel est bien situé et est à une dizaine de minutes de marche du centre.

Comme dans plusieurs établissements, il manque souvent de rangement, de crochets pour bien installer nos sacs, ranger nos vêtements.

This is the second time we stayed at the LimeTree hotel, and in a couple of days we will come back for the third time. We love the place, it's clean and the rooms are great. And most of all, the staff is extremely friendly. We had the lime of our lives 😄! Thanks a lot and we will be back soon!

Multiple different staff members provided outstanding customer service, from helping us book a tour that was sold out on-line, to providing a different room to sleep in when our exterior facing room had too much street noise. Breakfast was excellent.

This is a really nice, small hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we could even check in very late, 11pm. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good, fresh fruits, yoghurt and muesli, that is what we like most 😃. Perfect place to stay in Kuching.

You can walk to the city center but it's not a very nice walk. Taking a grab is more convenient, RM 5.

- Location is central and next to Padungan Street where many cafes and restaurants are - Room was clean - Water dispenser in the lobby to refill your water bottle

-Lobby was small and not inviting to sit down. It was surrounded by merchandise and souvenirs that are overpriced. - Breakfast was ok but could be better. The coffee didn't taste like coffee. You need to order and pay extra for a more decent cup of coffee.

Very clean hotel at a reasonable price for a location that was not too far from the river (we walked everywhere we wanted to from here). So as long as you don't mind not being right by the river it is great. We chose this property after a less satisfactory experience elsewhere. Breakfast was good for the inclusive price.

The hotel is located within the historical core of Kuching, walkable distance from all the main attractions. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good enough with basic protein options, e.g. scrambled eggs, beans etc.

I'm a sensitive sleeper and the rooms with windows overlooking the city turned out to be a bad option. I had to downgrade to a windowless room in the center of the building to get a good night's sleep. Bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to city noises at night. The motorcycles are particularly loud.

Value for money but good quality. Basic but comfortable and it was very quiet at nite with confortable pillow and firm bed so it was a restful stay with good shower pressure.

It was a bright clean space with super friendly staff and a concern for eco friendliness which is rare in the area. It was great! The breakfast was wonderful with fruit and different options each day.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück variierte täglich und war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Die Lage war zwar nicht zentral, aber in wenigen Gehminuten gab es zahlreiche Essensgelegenheiten und auch die Waterfront konnte nach einem kurzen Spaziergang erreicht werden. Auf der tollen Dachterrasse haben wir einige Abende ausklingen lassen. Uns hat es hier sehr gefallen.

Die Schalldämmung der Fenster könnte verbessert werden. Wir haben mit Oropax schlafen können.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were great and helped us check in when our flight got delayed, and we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The breakfast had a good selection, and was refilled regularly.

The noise from the main road was a nightmare. We hardly got any sleep during our 2 night stay. Generally, the hotel is quite noisy, and you can hear other guests walking/talking. It would have been better if they provided ear plugs.

My first trip back to Kuching and as usual I stayed at this most excellent hotel. Loved my room and breakfast, laksa was impeccable. Even after so many years the level of service here has remained high. I love the rooftop bar especially in the evenings. I also like the fact that it’s an eco-friendly hotel. Already looking forward to my next visit to this cozy hotel!

Great little boutique hotel with a really helpful and informed staff and great location. Everything was clean. The breakfasts were varied during my 4 day stay and it had a nice mix of western and asian selections. The rooftop bar was great with chill music and great service and drinks. I will definitely stay there again. Great bang for the buck. No complaints at all.

Fantastic location near Chinatown Padungan surrounded by lots of local food, with a supermarket just minutes away. Stayed 3 nights in an Executive Suite with an extra mattress request - it was a spacious room, very clean and well appointed with a large work desk and nice sofa. Bath had a deep tub that my young son thoroughly enjoyed after a long day of sightseeing. A leaky flush was fixed immediately by staff. Glad to see it was an eco friendly hotel with visible recycling efforts. Delicious breakfast with a mix of asian and continental… their Sarawak Laksa is a must-try! Basement parking was available and would be quite useful if I had rented a car - we used Grab to most places including to the waterfront at very cheap rates. If you like smaller, boutique-style hotels with great service, this hotel is highly recommended!

Etwas weg vom Zentrum, an einer verkehrsreichen Strasse gelegen.

Location is excellent especially if walking is the mode of transportation . The staff are welcoming, gracious and helpful.

The bed is not comfortable. It needs a mattress cover that will add softness. And linen is getting to be old, grey, and worn out

Nach der ersten Nacht durften wir ein Glück das Zimmer auf die ruhige Seite des Hotel wechseln. Aber da an war es ein schöner Aufenthalt Für uns. Gutes Bett, Klimaanlage funktionierte, mitarbeitende waren nett, Frühstück war klein aber ausreichend und das beste wir bekamen eine kleine Frühstücksbox, weil wir das Frühstück nicht wahrnehmen konnten. Zu Fuß ist alles einfach erreichbar.

Hier und da würden Instandhaltungen und Austauschen von Dingen dem Hotel gut tun.

Prêt gratuit d'un mini frigo sur demande. Bon petit déjeuner. Terrasse sur le toit pour profiter un peu de l'extérieur même si la vue n'est pas topissime. Proche du quartier chinois avec les restaurants, un bureau de change, un magasin d'alimentation et même d'une laverie automatique. Il faut marcher un peu pour aller à la rivière (spectacle jet d'eau et lumière gratuit le soir).

Les fenêtres de la chambre mériteraient d'être nettoyées car sales et d'être changées car très mauvaise insonorisation (on entend le bruit du boulevard). Un conseil: ne venez pas à Kuching en février si vous espérez voir les orang outang au parc car ils ne se montrent pas ; ce n'est pas la bonne période...

Strategic place.

During my stay, there was a car auto-show nearby held on 7 Feb 2026. They were ramping the car inconsiderately till late night. Hard for me to sleep as my room is near to roadside. Perhaps in future if there’s big event happening, the staff may inform us in advance or may assist to help to call the police for disturbance.

Very nice hotel in a good location to enjoy kuching. Staff were really helpful, breakfast excellent and there are several comfy sofas in reception to enjoy. The room was clean and big enough and they can provide small fridges on request.

We would have used the bar and restaurant more than we did if the prices were in line with local bars and restaurants, otherwise no complaints at all.

El desayuno es variado y abundante! La habitación es cómoda y cuenta con buen servicio de limpieza. La zona de fumadores es tanto en planta baja como en la terraza.

La ubicación es tranquila y relativamente buena. Por el mismo precio se consiguen hoteles más cerca de la zona céntrica pero de peor calidad. Kuching es fácilmente transitable y la distancia al centro es caminable.

l'hôtel fourni un petit frigo sur demande, malheureusement l'alimentation électrique de celui ci est relié à la carte de la chambre. il faudrait pouvoir le connecter sur une prise alimenté en permanence.
