浴室会轻微积水，浴室置物架松脱了。柜台服务人员态度极不专业也非常无理和无礼。

El personal es muy amable, nos ofreció la habitación antes de la hora del check in. El desayuno buffet tiene muchas opciones orientales y occidentales, resulta muy completo. Las camas son muy cómodas.

Necesita renovación del mobiliario y textiles, las sábanas y toallas tenían manchas. El baño necesita una reforma, la cortina de la bañera es muy vieja.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour les chambres au calme côté rivière. Peu d'hôtels à Kuching échappent au bruit infernal de la circulation. L'hôtel a un peu vieilli mais offre toujours de très bonnes prestations. Très grande chambre, literie exceptionnelle, choix fermeté des oreillers, buffet du petit déjeuner varié...

Les traces de moisissure dans la salle de bains (ventilation insuffisante !). L'air conditionné qui se met en route lorsqu'on n'est pas dans la chambre.

Hotel un poco anticuado, pero las habitaciones eran bastante grandes, buenas camas dobles, no nos gustó la habitación familiar que nos dieron y nos cambiaron a una superior sin ningún problema. El desayuno incluido súper completo, con muchas comidas preparadas al momento. El personal encantador.

The rooms are very cold and nothing you do can overcome that. Might be ok for Europeans and Russians.

Room on my final night there was no Bath mat and Hand towel Amenities was not replanish Bathroom toiler bowl bidet was leaking badly during my stay but when housekeeping clean the room did not inform engineering repair. Hand basin stopper was out of order even room cleaning was conduct daily but was not repaid by engineering department Bed linen was not change throughout my 4 days 3 night stay

Great pool and I had nice views of the river and the Legislative Building. Everyone on staff was really nice…hotel was very clean. My room was a bit sparse of furniture with no chaise or comfortable chair. There was a desk and chair and space for another nice chair and end table…but otherwise I had a good stay here! It had a nice bar/lounge that was popular.

Staff were all really friendly, pool was large, and restaurant had good food. Comfy bed, fluffy towels…and very clean. Plus it was an easy walk to the main bazaar and other restaurants. I’m glad I had a river view!

Not usually one to leave hotel reviews, but unfortunately our stay at Grand Margherita Hotel was quite disappointing, particularly in terms of cleanliness and room maintenance. Some of the issues we experienced: • The bathtub was old and poorly maintained, and the water did not drain properly, leaving a puddle while showering. • The bath mat appeared moldy, and when we lifted it, there was visible hair underneath. • The hairdryer in the room was not functioning. • The thermostat for the air conditioning did not work. We called the hotel and were informed that the air conditioning is centrally controlled. When we asked whether our thermostat might be faulty, staff mentioned it “might be,” and also stated that all rooms operate this way. • The fridge was running but had a puddle of water inside it. • The kettle functioned, but the lid was broken. The location of the hotel is convenient, but the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the facilities need significant improvement, especially considering the expectations of guests paying for a comfortable stay.

Not thoroughly clean. There are tough stains on the sofa and the bathtub. The toilet roll stand is also loose. The hotel management should do maintenance checking monthly.

Hotel location is very good and walking distance to the water front, the Darul Hana bridge and the museums. Room was always well looked after.

Hotel car-park is always full. Hotel breakfast buffet has rather limited menus. Could do better with a more diverse spread.

OLD, RUN DOWN, POOR SOUND BARRIER, SHOWER NOT HOT, AIR-COND UNABLE TO SET ACCORDING TO NEED, TOWELS GREYISH, SEEM BEING REUSE FOR DECADES

I previously stayed here in 2013 and again in 2026, the whole place still remain amazing. Worth your money. The cat statue across the road is a must place to take picture.

I don't like lv 1 my be next time I choose the lv 2 or 3 cus you can see n enjoy the Kuching view. Some more the view is blocked by the roof entrance 😔.....

Not worth for the money i paid. Bad facilities, not clean enough, breakfast not refilled on time we need to wait as most of the things empty we were there.

The hotel room felt tired and outdated. The water heater did not function properly, and the water pressure was very weak. Water in the bathroom basin drained very slowly and required time to clear. The room was only provided with one cup in the bathroom, which was insufficient. The air-conditioning was uncomfortably cold and remained cold even after being switched off throughout the night. Additionally, the bed was not comfortable, affecting overall rest quality.

Great location next to waterfront and nearby eateries. Spectacular window view of river. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms and corridor were cold even after switching off room aircon still felt cold. Hot water in my room was only lukewarm
