Outdated hotel, ok but not definitely nog great breakfast. All shampoo & hand wash bottles in our room were empty upon arrive. Thin walls/doors, noise could be heard a bit on the hotel walkway. Only serves good purpose when staying for maximum 1 night wrt airport departure/arrival.

The staff person behind the front desk was very accommodating. We had to leave a rental car for someone to pick up, and they made it very easy. The room was large and clean. The breakfast ones all that we could've asked for, and we especially like the coffee machines.

Hotelli ja hotellihuone olivat melko epäsiistejä. Ensisilmäyksellä sitä ei huomannut, mutta sitten kun huomasi, halusi vain ummistaa silmänsä. Käytävillä oli tahroja ja hotellihuoneessa oli ruskeita palloja - googletimme syitä ja ilmeisesti hotellissa tehty ehkä tuholaisia vastaan toimenpiteitä? Lisäksi vessanpönttö oli vino ja vetäessä vessan, vesi jäi juoksemaan, kunnes huoltomies korjasi asian. Huone oli tilava, muttei kovin siisti. Aamiainen ei maistunut hyvältä.

4 stelle forse la struttura ne dimostra 3. Colazione abbastanza buona, quasi tutto confezionato, locali un po' vecchi, muri sporchi, avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Trovato anche un capello in bagno, pulizia da migliorare.

We had mixed feelings about this hotel, but there were definitely some positives. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and much more spacious than expected, and the air conditioning worked very well. That made a big difference during the hot nights. Housekeeping also kept giving us fresh towels, sometimes in rather generous quantities.

The main issue is that the hotel feels like it has seen better days. The carpets in the hallways had stains, the walls had cracks and faded paint, and several doors clearly need some attention. Our bathroom door only closed when pushed quite hard, and the room door did not always latch properly unless we shut it forcefully. We actually spent the first night without realising that the door had not properly locked. Although the hotel is close to the airport, getting there on foot is not very pleasant because there is no proper pedestrian route all the way. This is definitely not the hotel's fault, but I would suggest arranging transport. Breakfast was fine, but the setup of the breakfast room felt a little scattered, with different items placed on separate tables around the room. The worst part of the stay was Saturday night, when there was some kind of outdoor event or concert on the hotel grounds. The music was loud enough to shake the room and went on until around midnight, which was frustrating because we had to get up early the next morning.

Beim dritten Zimmer hat die Klimaanlage endlich funktioniert. In den ersten beiden Zimmern waren > 31 Grad. Im dritten Versuch war das Bad in einem total verwahrlosten Zustand. Sehr traurig. Und das bei > 140€/Nacht. Nachts war im Flur und vor dem Fenster, das Zimmer war im Parterre, extrem laute Musik und eine Party. Der Fernseher im Zimmer war kaum zu hören.

Es un hotel increíble, he viajado mucho por Europa y éste fue el mejor hotel precio calidad. Volvería sin dudarlo. Nos tocó una habitación con vista al Volcan Etna. Tiene restaurante y cafetería. Las habitaciones son enormes. Un lugar inolvidable.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable mattress that made sleeping easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the helpful service.

Unfortunately, there were a few things that could be improved, especially considering the heatwave during our stay. The air conditioning in the lobby was not switched on, making the common area quite uncomfortable. There was also no kettle in the room, which would have been a nice and useful addition. We were also charged for a bottle of water taken from the minibar, which we feel could have been made clearer beforehand. Finally, the soap dispenser in the room was not even half full when we arrived, which gave the impression that the room had not been fully replenished before our stay.

Check In/Out was efficient. Enjoyed the breakfast. Shuttle was very beneficial. The room was spacious.

The room refridgerator was inadequate. Too small and not cool enough.

Close but not too close to the airport. Good for late arrival or early departure. Too far to walk but there is an efficient hotel/airport transfer with service until midnight. Rooms and breakfast are very basic. Price is high for this standard. Fine for a sleep but probably not the best hotel for a longer stay.

Service was sub-par. No soap in shower, completely empty. The bed was hard as a brick. No shuttle for early morning flights, although the website and booking.com state otherwise. It’s similar to checking into a hotel in a second world country.

Place is pretty old and not maintained properly. rooms are extremely basic and breakfast only starts at 7am, which is strange given that most of their customers would book this hotel ahead of a early morning flight.

•Receptionist bionda straniera indisponente, non si fa capire quando parla e ha pure la presunzione di mostrarsi arrabbiata quando si richiede gentilmente cosa avesse detto. •La carta igienica in bagno non era una confezione integra ma un rotolo lasciato dai precedenti ospiti e la cosa è alquanto discutibile sotto il profilo igienico. •La presenza dei gatti nella hall sarebbe da evitare. • I corridoi rumorosi nelle ore notturne, il personale dovrebbe richiamare gli ospiti poco educati a mantenere un tono di voce più basso specialmente nelle ore notturne. • minibar vuoto e non funzionante, e in estate non è una gran cosa non poter avere a disposizione qualcosa di fresco.

I was worried if the restaurant was going to be good for dinner. Some some of the reviews were not that great? We had a great meal. It was delicious so if you go enjoy the restaurant it’s very good limited selection but what’s on the menu is good

De locatie is dichtbij het vliegveld en er is een gratis pendelbus die je kunt reserveren (per half uur). Heel handig als je 's ochtends vroeg een vlucht moet hebben. De kamers zijn wat je verwacht van een redelijk tot goed hotel: ruim, fijne badkamer, goed bed. Heel veel meer heb je ook niet nodig.

We hadden een kamer dichtbij de lift, waardoor er constant geluid vanuit de gang kwam. Dat is lastig als je een lichte slaper bent. Ook moesten wij om 7am de pendelbus hebben. Bij inchecken gaf iemand van de receptie aan dat we dan om 6:50 waarschijnlijk al wel iets van het ontbijt konden krijgen (dat gaat om 7 uur open), maar dat bleek 's morgens toch niet te kunnen. Dat was jammer, maar geen groot probleem. De locatie is saai, vlakbij het vliegveld en een aardig eind van het centrum van Catania, maar daar kies je dit hotel ook niet voor.

Lokacija hotela je super, saj se nahaja blizu letališča in greš lahko peš. Drugače nudijo tudi transfer iz letališča do hotela. Osebje je bilo zelo prijazno, gostoljubno. Soba je bila zelo velika, prostorna, udobna z lepim razgledom na Etno. Zajtrk je bil zelo bogat, raznolik, odličen in okusen.

Ni ničesar, kar nam ni bilo všeč. Razžalostilo nas je le, ker je bilo že vse zasedeno v naprej in ni bilo na žalost proste namestitve, ko smo hoteli rezervirati hotel za čez 1 teden (ko se vrnemo s krožne poti po Siciliji). Vendar to kaže na odličnost hotela in njegovo lokacijo.

Proximity to the airport - beds were comfy - shuttle service was available in the early morning hours.

Dining - the menu was very limited -asked for butter 3 times before 2 pats finally showed up. At both lunch and dinner they were focused on a soccer team that was staying and the food they were served was definitely better than what was on the menu for paying customers. We did not stay for breakfast as we had a very early flight.

Hotelli oli ylibuukattu tai joidenkin huoneiden varaukset venyneet? Respan selostus ei selventänyt muuta kuin että ei ole nyt huonetta saatavilla ja korvaava majoitus ja kuljetukset on järjestetty Catania Sea Palace-hotelliin. Varattu lentokenttäkuljetus haki sovittuun aikaan.

Catania AirPort Hotellista emme nähneet kuin aulan, että vaikea sanoa. Sea Palace taas oli parhaat päivät nähnyt hotelli, josta voi pari tähteä ottaa sen vuoksi pois. Huoneen suihkukopissa oli hometta ja muutenkin huone oli tunkkainen ja osin rähjäinen. Ilmastointi onneksi toimi, mutta oli äänekäs. Aamiainen ihan OK, on tullut vastaan huonompiakin. Sijainti melko hankalassa paikassa jos haluaa Catanian keskustassa käydä. Ja hotellin merinäköalat ovat pieni kaistale muiden rakennusten välistä.

Old and tired hotel. Fixtures falling off the wall. Hotel arranged early taxi to airport which was way overpriced! Breakfast minimal.

The €40 taxi charge was refunded after I raised it directly.

We booked this hotel specifically for its airport location, as we had a rental car to collect the next morning. After we had already boarded our flight (arriving ~1am), we were told our confirmed room was unavailable and were relocated to a different, clearly inferior property. At that hour we had no realistic ability to refuse or find alternatives. N The relocation turned a 5-minute walk to the airport into a 2-hour round trip and cost us roughly 3 hours overall. We were promised complimentary taxis both ways in writing, then charged for one (later refunded after I complained). Staff at both properties were unhelpful, and my messages through Booking.com during the day went unanswered. With reasonable notice we could have cancelled and booked a comparable, closer hotel for less. I would not book here again if airport proximity or reliable communication matters to you.

If you’re arriving at Catania airport and you need to stay overnight before you head out, this is the perfect hotel. Staff was very pleasant. The location to the airport is very close and the rooms are outstanding.

The only complaint would be the Restaurant as satisfactory at Best. The wait staff was not Pleasant with us and the food was marginal. We arrived after a long flight from the US and didn’t feel like heading out to find a restaurant, but the hotel is excellent other than the restaurant.

Google has just informed me that this hotel was built in 2013, which I just can't believe. It is a living museum of late 1990s decor. In fairness, the rooms were absolutely huge, and clean, though a little worn. It is basic and won't win any style awards, so if you had booked it for your entire stay in Sicily you might be quite disappointed (especially as as the pool area was also tired and untidy). However, for a night's sleep after a late or early morning flight, it was fine. And when we woke up the next day, we realised we had a fantastic view of Mount Etna from our window, which was a nice surprise. The main issue we had was that previous reviews as well as information on the hotel website suggested that it would be an easy walk from the airport. Unfortunately Google Maps directed us down two busy dual carriageways with no pavements, which was tricky to navigate with large suitcases. I believe the hotel can offer an airport shuttle bus though as well, which I would recommend opting for.
