Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The location was excellent! It was walking distance from the train station and centrally located. It was also quiet. The bed was comfortable.
Our A/C was barely putting out anything. We were there during some warm weather. The staff gave us a fan, which was very helpful. I wish they had more allergy friendly items at breakfast that were more clearly marked. The front desk area was finishing a remodel, so a bit crazy.

the property needs an upgrade desperately. The lights control with the key card didnt work and they couldnt do anything about it until Monday when someone from maintenance was there. so a couple of days inconvenience. No basin plugs available. no instruction to control temp in the room, it was always too hot. Staff tried their hardest but their hands were tied

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Beliggenhet er midt i blinken! Hotellet ligger på torgallmenningen og det er enkelt å komme seg dit. Veldig fin bruk av farger.
- Rommet var trangt. - Badet var innglasset midt i rommet og det var ikke mulig med privatliv der inne. Lyset på toalettet var plassert slik at mannen skygget for lyset da han skulle urinere. Da er det ikke så lett å treffe toalettskåla. - Det var en stor sprekk i vinduet og det var montert en glassplate foran. Den var ikke spesielt synlig så vi smalt telefonen i den da vi skulle filme ut av vinduet. Vinduet kunne heller ikke åpnes så luften var ikke den beste. - Arket med hotellinformasjonen var revet i to og det var noen merkelige flekker på den. - Det var veldig lytt ut i gangen. - Frokostområdet var trangt og vi følte vi satt oppå de andre gjestene. Det var også endel småfluer ved maten. Lite delikat.

La colazione, posizionata al piano seminterrato, sebbene varia, potrebbe essere migliorata nella sua sistemazione e nella qualità. I prodotti sembravano spesso riutilizzati nelle varie giornate.

Geen fijne bedden en kussens. Douche ook niet fijn. Geen airco en niet mogelijk om raam op te doen (behalve kantelraam, wat voorzet raam is voor buitenraam wat dichtzit).

Not keen on the room layout with the shower and washbasin within the bedroom itself (rather than in an en-suite bathroom). Also there was minimal clothes storage or table/desk space.

La stanza è scarna ed ha pochissimi comfort, in bagno non ci sono piani d’appoggio. Il letto comodo ma piccolo. La pulizia della stanza era accettabile ma i corridoi per accedervi erano arredati con moquette che emetteva cattivo odore.

At det ikke var vindu på rommet. Var en slags glassvegg som ikke gikk an å se ut eller åpne. Vil ha frisk luft inn om natten. Spesielt at dusj og toalett var såpass åpent.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Also eins vorab. Die Lage ist klasse. Mitten im Leben, und der Fischmarkt ist nur wenige 100 m entfernt. Personal ist super Frühstück, ist wenn man von den Hurtigruten kommt, nicht vergleichbar aber o.k. Übrigens: für die An- und Abreise zum Flughafen: Die Strassenbahn, die direkt zum Flughafen fährt ist 300 m entfernt. Da zahlt man dann 4,8 € statt 70 Euro mit der Taxe.
Ich habe ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Innenhof und den dortigen Müll bekommen.Das fand ich nicht so lustig. Auch liess sich leider hein einziges Fenster öffnen ;-(

La decoración de la habitación abusa de la melamina y los plásticos. Algunas paredes y el espejo del baño presentaban polvo acumulado. Interruptores desgastados. La zona de desayunos es angosta y oscura, mejor subir a recepción. Me dijeron que tienen previsto reformar las habitaciones en 2027, por lo que puede que así no desentonen tanto de la recepción.

The room is too small, they should do better cleaning, both room and bathroom have lots of fluff on the floor. The water was stuck in the shower and would spill over the bathroom and the room. The price is too high for what we get.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026The location. Right in centre of the main square. Easy to walk around the city, find nice restaurants and pick up points for excursions. The interior was quite cosy and staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Facilities and main the bathroom. No privacy (glass door) and no place to hung clothes. Quite expensive for what it offers but very convenient to move around.

The central station is within walking distance, making it very convenient. The rooms are comfortable, facilities are good, and the breakfast spread was excellent with a nice variety. A perfect choice for a comfortable stay in Bergen.
