Staff were really friendly

Mesty smell in the corridors. Was a bit worn.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. The Location was perfect right in the middle between town and seafront (less than 5 minutes walk to either) very quiet for a street in blackpool during the night. Parking directly outside the main entrance free. Host and Staff lovely, welcoming and friendly. Our room was immaculate, clean, spacious, everything we could need was in the room plus more. Bed was so comfy to, had 2 amazing nights sleep. Breakfast was a proper full english with toast and tea, plenty of options for cereal and juices. Cooked perfectly, sausages and bacon tasted like proper butchers products! It was perfect. Great check in and check out times, would highly recommend this hotel. We will be back, we come twice a year for the past 10 years and this has been the best we've stayed in and great value for money!

Not having a key or a bell to ring was great and the hostess was friendly. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus.

The room wasnt finished, the bed was uncomfortable, the area was sketchy at best, the room smelled damp and was very untidy. For what we paid it was not worth it at all.

The friendly welcome of both hosts and interest in getting to know us and being playful with our son. The playroom was much appreciated by my son. The room and bathroom were clean and just right for the end of a busy day out. It was a homely experience.

The walls were thin so we did hear a loud neighbouring guest. However, this was only for a short while.

It was friendly very clean and very helpful if we wanted to know anything especially if you have kids or if we wanted anything for the room, the beds was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was very nice. They was situated in a good place not far from the attractions and the trams. We will be going again and recommending the hotel to family.

Didn't like anything about wasn't the same as the pics very rundown area parking was not good know bar area ore breakfast area as looked like there were doing building work room need redecorating not even a table lamp I know it was a basic double but it had a 8.2 rating that's why I chose it when I got there there was a young ladie greeted me and my partner but had too phone someone to get codes for the room even though I had .a conversation with the own too arrival time I don't blame the young ladie for this she was put in a uncomfortable position not a hotel I would recommend

Was during a heat wave no fans and the room was too hot and tiny to sleep in with no ventilation. Didn’t stay the night, left early instead. Door access and locks were a bit confusing.

The beds were comfortable and very welcome after a long day. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating when our travel delayed us until late. The place was clean and well maintained despite the age of the property.

Loved the fact this place was close to town. Excellent if your off into town for the night as its so close to the Tower. We were a little mortified when we first pulled up as the area is really run down but a short walk into town is the bonus. Parking just outside. You pay £30 as a deposit for a visitor pass which you get back when you leave. Owner and daughter are lovely. Really helpful, and can't do enough for you, , texting passcodes and checking in to see what time we were arriving and you can see they are really trying to build a lovely little business. Breakfast was lovely. We had a full breakfast which was really well cooked and we really enjoyed it. Bed was really comfortable and the shower was great. Liked that there, towels, and tea and coffee facilities in the room. We would definitely stay here again. The owners are really lovely and as above, the location is perfect for a night out.

Owners are clearly doing the place up and there are some lovely elements in the house so its a little run down in some areas. Our room was very small and no rooms for luggage. Although we were offered a larger room. We really struggled to get into the front door using the keypad. We eventually got in after i managed to set an alarm off and took extra time to make sure i was pressing the right numbers!

Location from attractions. On arrival met by a pleasant lady who explained key coded door which I thought was a good idea - not having to worry about a key, unfortunately that’s where the good ends.

Very basic room which is what I expected for price however, you expect it to be clean- this was not the case. a good deep clean & vacuum is needed as a must. Cups dirty so was unable to have a morning drink, bathroom needs attention. Upon leaving we discovered my car was tampered with whilst parked on the street outside the property. Dissapointed and would not recommend a stay here, area is run down and not one I would recommend no matter how close to the attractions you are

The owners Andrea and Lucas are excellent hosts, nothing was a trouble for them. They have only been there for 3 years and are gradually improving the hotel by upgrading everything. Our room was a good size with a kingsize bed and a set of bunkbeds. It’s in a great location for where we wanted to be.

The mirror needs to be on the wall near the window, so that you can see to dry your hair.

Great stay. Host was kind and helpful, and had excellent communication on the day of my stay. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was super comfortable, very cosy. Great location super close to the centre of Blackpool. Would definitely go again

Cooked Breakfast was great, property a little tired in places but to be expected given the age of the building. Hosts were very friendly and provided a warm welcome.

We had a spontaneous night in Blackpool with the kids so it was great to be able to book so quickly. Very close to attractions. Staff member was lovely, chatty, informative & friendly. Nice chairs in our room. Shower was ok too.

Sadly all a bit tired & grubby - decoration/furniture/ carpets. Not the hotels fault but the area isn't great either.

People across the road made us feel uncomfortable , hanging around , jumping on bikes and making comments when we passed I had to move car and they were hanging around it

Very unorganised, had to phone to check in and the hotel in the evening had a bad smell of Green. The bar area was a storeroom for bedsheets ect so opted not to have a drink. Didn’t hang around for breakfast.

I received a text in the morning offering us an free upgrade from our family room with a private bathroom on the first floor to a room with an en-suite, not to sure what the difference is but the room was cosy and perfect for a one night stay, (2 adults and 2 children) we only spent 10mins in it at check in time, then to sleep but it was really clean, beds were comfortable, bedding smelt lovely, plenty pillows and the duvet was warm. Nice mini fridge in the room, kettle, cups, coffee, milk and sugar sachets. Bathroom was small, didn’t use the shower so can’t comment on that, towels were provided. Dining room was laid out nice. No menus, but we were all offered a full English (even my 3 year old) and the cooked breakfast was delicious, you could help yourself to juice, milk and cereal, coffee was served super hot with a jug of milk. The only couple of points the owners could look at and consider, but be assured they wouldn’t stop me from booking again, are the lids on the cereal containers were dusty, the milk and juice although cold were on a shelf over a radiator which was on. Our bathroom door didn’t shut and there was an extension lead with the fridge and kettle plugged in which I’m not sure is safe in a hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel, thank you for a lovely stay.

The close proximity to the north pier and tower

Was disappointed we wasn't aware we needed to pay for a parking permit to park outside the hotel until the morning we were travelling there however on booking.com dosent say anything about this however the 30 pound was refunded the following day staff were lovely and acomadating

Andrea was very warm, welcoming and helpful. Room facilities were quite generous. Lots of tea etc and a fridge.

No curtains so sun came in very early. Sheets bit scratchey. Both those things meant we didn't sleep well

Hotel was lovely, from entering to our room it smelt lovely & the room was clean & tidy. Tea/coffee facilities with a fridge, bathroom spotless. Beds were comfy, my partner actually said it was the best sleep he had in years! Lol breakfast was also really nice. They welcomed us like family & nothing was too much trouble....we actually ended up booking an extra night 😃 Perks free parking & location is fantastic! Would definately stay again.

The area is ideal !!! We stayed for 2 nights and the hosts were exceptional !!! The room was clean and had everything we needed. My two children said they would give them 10 stars lol, we will defiantly be back

Room was small but didn’t bother us!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very clean, and I noticed it always had a refreshing smell around the place. It was very quiet throughout also, and we slept well in the very comfortable beds. Our room itself was better than we had expected, and my children were disappointed to leave, requesting we return for another stay soon! They were particularly grateful for the Wi-Fi service, and the extra tv, and mini fridge in their bedroom section. Thank you for a lovely stay, hope to return soon.

The family room had a triple bunk bed which was less than ideal as the bottom one was coffin like and the top one was extremely high to the ceiling The light between the rooms flashed all night every few seconds and kept us awake most of the night. Found the double bed uncomfortable, but that could just be my preference as mattress was hard The host was very nice although I feel she was overstretched and needed some more staff , waited 45mims for breakfast which took us past check out time , not that she seemed bothered about that. There is nobody at reception to see you in , (despite the host asking x3 times what time we were due to arrive) and waited a while whilst unknowing to me host dealt with someone else. Many people seemed to be waiting around not knowing where to go. Again host was very nice but seemed not to be able to be in all places all times.

Nice, cosy and very welcoming entrance to the property. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do any more for us, the best thing is the staff, a family run business. Breakfast was fantastic too. Nice warm radiators too. Very clean and tidy, and great wee lounge area and well stocked bar too.

Decor is a wee bit run down in some of the rooms. But owners said the place is due and redecoration soon. But i would definitely return again

I had a lovely stay at Willin House Hotel. The hosts and their family were polite, friendly, and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and I really appreciated the warm, homely atmosphere. The location was great, with the beach, pier, and football stadium all within a 15-minute walk. There are also a few local pubs, pool clubs, takeaways, and supermarkets nearby, which made it really convenient. The price for two nights was very reasonable, and breakfast was available at an additional cost. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to return for a few nights again.

The “family” room was on the smaller side for a family, but it was the perfect size for two people. It was clean, tidy, and the bed was very comfortable — I slept well both nights. Parking is a bit limited, located behind locked gates at the back of the hotel. I did feel slightly awkward each time I needed to get the car, but the staff were always cheerful and helpful — nothing was ever too much trouble.

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. Parking on the street was easy when we arrived around 2pm (it might get trickier later on). The location is excellent — close to the town centre, the beach, and Blackpool Stadium. The hosts were lovely, friendly and really helpful. Perfect for a short stay!

The only minor downside was the sound insulation — we could hear people talking quite loudly in the corridor and nearby rooms when we were trying to fall asleep. It didn’t last long and wasn’t too bad, but worth mentioning.

Had a lovely 3-night stay. Close walking distance to Blackpool Tower, Coral Island, Sealife Centre, Madame Tussauds and shopping areas. Clean rooms. The bathroom had a shower which provided good hot water. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided. Full English breakfast and continental available at extra cost for us as we booked without. The host was lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Plenty of plug sockets but a little far away from a mirror if you wish to use them while styling your hair. Minor issue.

Very small room and wifi didn't work nor did the 5G have a signal. It was impossible to use my cell phone in the hotel, so I ended up forgetting my phone there, when parking in front, on the public road we were fined despite having a disability card.
