We loved our room. It was very clean and the bed was super comfy.

The food at Dragos was a disappointment. I remember years ago, the food at the casino's was always soooo good. This was not the case for us. We ordered crab cakes which were okay. Boudain balls which didn't taste like Boudain at all and they had an odd flavor. The gumbo was the best thing we tried. For $80 it was a huge disappointment. About 11:00 pm we went to the snack bar and it was even worse. After we waited for about 15 minutes for our food, nachos & corn dogs, my husband said....I wonder if that's our order that the young man bagged up and sat on top of the microwave. After about another 10 minutes, we went up to the desk and asked about our order. And yes, our order had been bagged up and setting on top of their microwave for about 15 minutes. Im assuming the young man went on break. Everything was cold by then but we would have waited another 20 minutes if we would have said anything. Their restaurants need some major attention. We ended up leaving to find breakfast the next day. We will stay at this casino again for the room but NOT for the food.

Location

The hotel was not clean. Our bed was as was dirty and not changed from the prior guest. Hair in the bathroom. No one seemed concerned when I brought it up with staff. They did change the sheets.

Property is always clean and well kept.

The room was clean. We had dinner at Dragos, the food was amazing. The cigar lounge was great, patio views were nice.

The bed was like sleeping on a big box with a piece of foam on it. It was so uncomfortable! Apparently there was skme some sort of party in the room next to us, with extremely loud music and a bunch of yelling and screaming. I understand it was a Saturday night but they were unreasonably loud most of the night.

No breakfast provided with the hotel only 2 dining options and one did not allow children in so had to go elsewhere for breakfast.

The lady working the pool was very rude. There were no towels at the pool ever. Kids were kicked out at 8pm.

Very clean, everyone was very nice, great place for everything we needed ( food-Salt Grass and Bass Pro)

The phone would not work in our room room 924. Also, at swimming pool, there was small kids just running around and one baby was about to fall in the pool.Young people not watching there children.

i did not see breakfast. i liked everything was in walking distance.

Love staying at Margaritaville Resort as the staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean plus the beds are actually very comfortable. The price has always been very reasonable also. It's also nice to have access to the restaurants on site plus a very large selection in the surrounding area.

The rooms are wonderful. The woman receptionist was lovely while checking out.

The gentleman that checked us in didn't say good afternoon, hello , nothing. Usually when you stay at a margaritaville the front desk staff are usually very nice. This is the third time and margaritaville location we have stayed at and by far the worst first impression. People smoke right outside of the building so you are greated with that. There was only one bellman when we arrived for check-in, and multiple cars were waiting for him. We asked if we could get a cart and we're told no we would have to wait for him. And the location smelled of old smoke.

Had dinner at the sports bar. Food was good, service was good. Very impressed with all the amenities of the location and nearby things to visit. A great place to stay.

There wasn't any garage parking and it was a rainy day which made the drop off crowded and difficult to unload. Maybe add a large awning extending to the front drive area to increase coverage. The area is quite small.

I liked the theme of the hotel.

Our AC was SO loud all night and the beds were too firm for me. Drago's was expensive, loud, and the quality of the food did not match the price. The exterior of the hotel was dirty.

There really did not seem to be anything available. There was coffee in the room it was ok, not enough creamer provided.

The room and decor was soothing and inviting. However the floors were unmapped the carpet was not vacuumed. The one restaurant that we wanted to try was closed. Bamboo was our other option, food was just ok with high price tag. Another table had an altercation with the waitress, so we were off to a rough start, but she composed herself and did well. Check in staff was more interested in personal conversations that helping us check in. Explaining the facility. We missed out on a few activities because we were did not have the energy to search and explore.

Easy and close parking. Very friendly workers from the security right down to the servers and card dealers. Very clean machines and restrooms. Highly recommended!

I did not eat breakfast there. There didn't appear to have any place to sit and eat.

Water pressure very weak at sink. There was a tile sticking up in the shower.

Terrible since Jimmy Buffett franchise sold it. Extra high prices at restaurants and not much variety. Boardwalk is virtually a ghost town so all there is to do is gamble. Slots are tight! Staff is super friendly and helpful though.

Lady who checked us in was the rudest hotel worker I have ever seen. Said 3 words maybe. Never said checkout time or anything. Was still there the next morning and still having a bad day evidently because she was once again very short and rude. She needs a different position.

Recent remodel looked very modern and streamlined.

We stayed overnight for an event that was being held here. Ultimately, we paid a premium for a convenience and nothing more. The only positive encounter we experienced with hotel staff was the gentleman who helped us up to our room. The friendliness of guest services and the bar staff were subpar. Our room had almost completely empty guest toiletries and two stained towels when we checked in. We had to call twice to get them replaced. Similar situation at the bar that night as well. Yes, it was busy bc of the event, but waiting beyond the point of ridiculousness (10-15min standing at the bar with money in hand) and still had three other customers get waited on before finally speaking out to get him to acknowledge his mistake. It felt completely ridiculous bc I’ve never had that experience before. At checkout, I left feeling as though no one there truly enjoyed their jobs as I was constantly having to ask repeatedly for what felt like basic bottom tier service.

Great, single level casino with lots of games and huge variety. Some of the newest games are on the floor as soon as they are released from the manufactures. I won't say that the slots are loose, but I have had more success at Margaritaville than elsewhere. As a non-smoker, I appreciate the high ceilings and well managed ventilation. During my visit I managed to attend a great comedy show. There is not a bad seat in the theater! Rooms are all remodeled within the last year or so and very adequate and well appointed. Dragos, ESPN Restaurant and Bamboo are all great places to eat and each has their own special items. The wings at ESPN are huge! A wing there is the drummy and the flapper, not separated and counted as single pieces like other places. The grilled oysters at Dragos are the absolute bomb! Grab a plate of Drunken Noodles at Bamboo~ delish! The pool area is great with a hot tub and beautiful sunsets on the river! If you are into cigars, the Macanudo Cigar bar has it all! Very much recommend Margaritaville!

For older people, grab bars in the shower would be awesome, going into the bathroom there was a raised piece threshold that could make one trip. Lotion would have been a lovely addition also in the bathroom. Soft drinks, bottle water over priced. We only bought them once.

I would like someone from booking.com to reach out to me. I am extremely dissatisfied with the whole trip. I didn't get the room I paid for a week in advance upon arrival. Was told they gave them all away and I "should have arrived sooner" was given a lesser room with cigarette burn holes in the comforters and was told checkout was noon. At 11:30 we were locked out of our room and were told that 11 was checkout time. I will NEVER go back to this place and I expect some kind of compensation for being charged for a room I wasn't able to have and getting a lesser room.

The resort has a great ambiance! You walk in and hit with the reason you’re there … the casino. Literally you walk right into it; it is exciting no doubt. The place is clean and welcoming.

The location is a bit awkward. Not the fault of Margaritaville, the shopping center around it is run down and closed. So there is nothing around it. So if you are a person/couple that want to explore while you stay, this place is not it. You can cross the bridge and find a handful of places to eat. But no real shopping or exploring there either. Because of the surrounding area, again not the fault of Margaritaville, the beach vibe doesn’t fit. It’s like a forced feel. But if you are solely there for the casino this could be the perfect spot!

Absolutely will never stay here again. Why you ask? 1. The walls are thin, paper thin. We heard everyone’s conversation within the rooms around us. We heard every step anyone took in the hallway. We heard every kid scream, every baby cry, and every train that passed by. 2. Customer service is the bare minimum here. I called for access to a microwave, they don’t have one. I called to report someone scream bloody m*dr in a room next door at 1 am. Did they care that a guest was SCREAMING at the top of their lungs as if someone was ripping them in half? NO. 3. Reviews said the rooms were clean, I guess my standards are too high because every surface had some kind of dirt, dust or jam on it. Other peoples hair (very long hair) was in the shower and on the floor in the bathroom. 4. Beds are hard and pillows are overpacked and hard. I HATED my stay, I WILL NEVER stay here again. Oh, the lobby is overpowered with cigar-thick smoke.
