The space itself was great having separate rooms. The location was great to as it was in between everything we needed or wanted to go to. Loved the sizes of the beds, even though it would be great to have two big beds instead as it was two adults that don't want to share a bed as we are mother and daughter and used to decent sized beds.

Air conditioned rooms would be better. As we found the oil fin heater didn't really heat the rooms especially as the nobs weren't all working. Also it was a bit of a downer that the main light in the second room was not working. I know things can't be perfect so we were fine and dealt with the curve balls and wasn't that disappointed. The other items to note was there was someone's cut nail sitting on the main bed and the not so big item on the agenda was that the choices for hot drinks was coffee or tea, what about hot chocolate there was none and that's my go to.

Kettle had black mould in it. Staff replaced it promptly. Unfortunately the replacement also had mould in it. Dirty dish rag under the sink. Quite run down.

Comfortable close to all the venues and shopping center's the owner was very friendly helpful and made us feel welcome .

Such a lovely motel, easy to check in & out. The location is perfect. The owners are doing such an amazing job and i would highly recommend this accomodation and keep coming back

Das Hotel liegt im Süden des Zentrums, zu den Restaurants muss man fahren oder 40 Min laufen. - Der Empfang war nicht besetzt und wir bekamen telefonisch erklärt, wo das Zimmer sei und dass der Schlüssel im Zimmer liegt. - Das Zimmer relativ groß, gute Dusche und kleine Küchenzeile. Alles soweit sauber und gepflegt. -

Das Bett aber zu weich und eine dicke Bettdecke, viel zu warm für die Jahreszeit. Da es keine Klimaanlage gab, haben wir ziemlich geschwitzt in der Nacht. Wir konnten auch keinen Durchzug machen, weil wir nur die Tür öffnen konnten und es kein Fenster zum Öffnen gab. Der Dyson-Ventilator gab nur wenig Komfort.

The best thing about these apartments is the owner Lee. He was superb in helping us to move between apts (we stayed for 2 weeks) to give us more space, and his recommendations on bars/restaurants was excellent. Don't miss the Rising Tide for great beers, wines and food. The Thai restaurant just around the corner is also very good. The New World supermarket just across the road is very handy but a note to UK people, don't expect Tesco club card type prices in NZ, we found the supermarkets in general more expensive than the UK. Having a laundry on site was also a bonus, plus parking right outside your door.

Initially we were disappointed we were further away from the downtown Mount area than we had hoped, but there are enough restaurants/supermarkets etc nearby to make it an enjoyable stay.

My brother just lives across the road so it's handy for that

I went to the Mount for the cricket, the motel is an easy 10 min walk from the ground.

This is a really old motel and large parts of it have never been upgraded. It's old and as a result quite hard to keep clean. It fell short of the standard I expect.

Location and it was worth the money spent

Great location, clean and tidy, nice soaps/shampoo available.

Not keen on cheap plastic kettle, please replace with stainless steel. Some plunger coffee wouldn’t go amiss. Maybe a little refresh in the kitchen, nicer cutlery, cups etc it’s looking a little neglected. Decor very dated.

Very clean and comfortable room. Free laundry which was good and a nice garden in the sun to do our exercises and have breakfast. V handy for your supermarket and 7 minute walk to the beach

It was a long walk to the lovely restaurant, cafe, shopping area near the Mount. Tiny kitchen area so a lot of appliance juggling to turn on the hot plate!

Loved the size of the room very roomy - especially loved the location, close to New Worlds, a variety of eating places and RSA all of which were at the most a 5min walk away. Loved the outside area with table and chairs. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends and family.

we stayed for 2 nights here and we are thankful that its comfortable to stay with everything we need is there. The balcony is so relaxing to sit with. Near to whatever you want to do. And their complimentary washing a big check on that. With lots of things to do in the backyard. My daughter enjoyed playing. The staff honors guest privacy. Goodwork to the team..thank you

Quite grubby. In need of refurbishment! Kitchen area very poor - no shelves in oven ?? Very little utensils. Bathroom outdated. Grubby carpet throughout. No privacy curtains so either full curtain closure or no cover .

Having Netflix was great and the outdoor area was nice. Also having two rooms for sleeping was great.

The pressure on the shower was poor. There was no light on one side of the bed. The fan was useless for cooling down the room and it was hot.

Location great, convenient parking, great price, check in so easy. Loved the recycling system.
