The room was very well appointed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It was a shame the dinning room wasn’t open on our visit and there wasn’t a bar service in the late afternoon, evening, for example in the library and lobby area.
Nothing
Beautiful location and amenities. A lovely grounds.
The property is beautiful, spacious and in an excellent location.
Nothing.
The property is so beautiful. The rooms are very clean. It’s our favourite place to stay when we come to Qualicum to visit my mum and sister.
The only thing is the dining chairs are worn, when you sit in them, your feet don’t touch the floor it’s time for some new chairs, and the frying pans are horrid, but the kitchen gave us a nonstick frying pan to use, which was very kind.
The villa was huge.
TVs need to be upgraded to smart tvs.
Location was fantastic.
Smart TV, so you can watch netflix
Every thing
Schönes Hotel in schöner Lage.
Interesting history. Character. Large rooms. Relaxing walk in the forest.
A shame the restaurant was not open the night we were there.
Very pretty
Nothing
The attention to detail at this hotel is amazing, it is beautiful and has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
I can't think of much. There is no breakfast available on site but a quick trip to the grocery store to stock our mini fridge resolved that issue.
Lovely property
It was a clean and welcoming place to stay. The staff were very nice and the place has different spaces to explore.
We loved staying in this hotel and finding out about it's history. It is so beautifully presented and in a great location. The staff were so kind and helpful. Lots of thoughtful extras, making you feel so welcome. Our only regret was we did not have more time to spend there and didn't get to dine there. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful room and grounds
Not really walkable to any restaurant
Absolutely beautiful property, very well-maintained and had a great sense of history. Location was convenient and the rooms were well-appointed.
There was no staff available after about 7pm, and the library was also closed then. We wanted to spend a night reading in the beautiful library but couldn't do that.
Beautiful inside and out. Very clean and well appointed rooms. I enjoyed the history, shared balcony, swanky library and access to the heritage forest in the backyard. The garden was amazing.
Generally the place was very quiet, but the mini fridge in the room was quite loud and kept us awake.
Great location, friendly staff and huge tub!
Fridge not very cold.
The room was huge, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main room had a king size bed and the second room had a pull out sofa bed/love seat for a single bed - ideal for our child. The room was clean and made up each day beautifully. The staff were courteous and friendly. It's a small property so the staff knew who we were immediately and we honestly never saw any other guests but we were gone most of the day each day. There's plenty of parking and it's close to the beaches and town center. It's a beautiful property and, compared to all the motels and local hotels, this was a gem to stay at!
It's an older property and is well maintained but it won't have all the modern amenities of a new hotel. That said, it's quaint and lovely and chic.
Lovely and quiet. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Nice little touches that made our stay better like a snack basket, water and creamers in the fridge.
Freundliches Personal. Schönes, sauberes und elegantes Zimmer. Schöne Lage
Alles gut
Beautiful old mansion that has been renovated and updated, while still maintaining its charm. Friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Beds very comfy. Appreciated the snack tray put out each afternoon. This was our second visit and we will be back.
The villa (actually a condo) was huge, spotless and very well appointed. Nice decor and we appreciated the hardwoods throughout. We did not use the kitchen but there was obviously attention to detail as it was well appointed. We also appreciated the personal welcome note and a few treats. The linens were lovely - fluffy towels and very nice bedding. We enjoyed the common sun deck with the lovely flower baskets. The hotel was also very quiet. The location is perfect - about a 3 min drive to Qualicum Village and close to the ocean. Michelle (chef and manager) was very helpful
We struggled to close the louvered blinds. Two bedroom blinds were missing the twisting rod used to open and close the blinds. The TVs also need attention. We couldn't get one started but the manager came quickly and helped out. The TV boxes were slow to load and the sound quality was poor. We think the large units should be advertised as condos as opposed to villas which we think of as free standing units.
Large well appointed rooms with a wonderful view.
The coffee maker in our room didn't work
Old world charm with all the modern conveniences! Outstanding views of the golf course ocean and beautiful sunsets!
Outstanding restaurant for gourmet dinners but must book well in advance as they have very limited seating!
Lovely evening meal and the room we stayed in was excellent
The room my cousin stayed in was supposed to be a garden view room !! The bedroom itself was a good size but NO window (which should have been highlighted) the ensuite had a view of partial garden and roof tops. The room we stayed in was perfect with a ocean view (a few dollars more) We would have NEVER chosen that room for my cousin and was very embarrassing.A disfunctional tea and a croissant were offered as compromise, very poor from a Hotel that has a excellent restaurant .Such a shame as could have left such a better memory Booking .com should also highlight the issue when booking.
The property is well kept and clean and is a significant property with visitors from all over the world dated back to the early 1900s. Lovely staff, incredible cleanliness and generous in the service.
Absolutely nothing. A wonderful hotel.
Clean and a large room
Price was about 100$ to much
When you arrive at your accommodation, you hope for a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. At The CROWN MANSION , we experienced so much more. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warmth that felt genuinely unique. We were welcomed with big smiles, a thoughtful greet bag, and a tour that had us saying "wow" in every direction. The atmosphere is stately, elegant, and impeccably maintained. Every corner of the property reflects attention to detail. The library is filled with treasures and inviting spaces to relax, while the gardens are bursting with beautiful blooms. A stroll through the surrounding forest feels less like a walk and more like stepping into a peaceful forest spa. Our room was delightful. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the decor to the welcoming card waiting for us upon arrival. The delicious chocolates and special treats were a lovely touch, and I absolutely loved the soap provided in the room. What impressed us most was how every detail seemed carefully considered, creating an experience that felt both luxurious and personal. We are already looking forward to returning. One night was clearly not long enough, next time we hope to dine as well. . For us, The Crown Manor delivers a true five-star experience, wrapped in warmth, charm, and hospitality that is increasingly rare to find. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Truly luxurious, beautiful grounds, very historic and sympathetically restored building. Room was super comfortable and service excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was top quality almost Michelin level. Wines great as were the cocktails. Really memorable stay.
Nothing
Geweldig kleinschalig hotel op toplocatie.
Geen ontbijt mogelijk in het aanwezige restaurant.
The Villas are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and a comfortable space to prepare your own meals. Liked having in suite laundry. Nice grounds and the walk through the Heritage Forest was great. Had dinner at The Sapphire....delicious!
Beautifully manicured lawns and fantastic views. Very comfortable, large room with an outstanding claw foot tub!

It was beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful hotel - in pristine condition and we felt like royalty. We were sorry that we only stayed one night and missed having a meal at the hotel.
Beautiful setting that provided access to Heritage Forest and walking path. Nice gardens and within walking distance of Milner Gardens and beach.
No food service during our stay. Restaurant was fully reserved for the entire weekend.
Magnificent, rich in history and beautifully restored with all the modern comforts
Honestly everything was terrific, our only little negative comment would be the little fridge cycling on and off right beside the bed
Well kept historic building and grounds in a nice end of town. Room was spacious and clean and everything functioned well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful quaint hotel .location excellent Manager Michelle was so lovely and very helpful.Would stay again and can’t wait !
No complaints at all
Clean, charming very historic
Nil
Everything was quite good, but we found the bed in 213 to be too soft, sore backs in the morning.
Good location
We were not given any information on amenities hours of operation staffing etc
Le restaurant super: bon et décoration cosy et élégante Jolie chambre et très bonne literie Belle maison ancienne et confortable Personnel très agréable La forêt derrière est absolument extraordinaire
Pas de petit déjeuner
This accommodation reflected the glory and glamour days of the past century yet the elegance and opulence of the era is retained without pretension. The ambience was warm and inviting even while the utmost attention was given to honouring the privacy of the guest. Dana at the front desk was extremely solicitous and helped us out on a number of occasions. As expected the room was very spacious and the large bathroom had two sinks which was very nice. There were many mirrors in the room. There was plenty of on site parking at the back and the elevator was much appreciated.
Nothing.
Beautiful property. Good location.
Restaurant not open Monday - Wednesday.
Good location, comfortable bed, very clean.
A few minor maintenance issues, ie toilet seat very loose, drain in bathtub plugged. The "garden view" room was somewhat deceiving. Unfortunate that the facility does not offer breakfast in their lovely dining room.
Classic hotel. great decor and comfortable rooms. spacious bathroom. Quiet.
Very nice boutique location and room. Friendly staff and extremely quiet location.
Shower head leaking and conditioner soap dispenser not working.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel had mastered the art of hospitality. The hotel is clean and well-maintained,. The host Michelle was very friendly and welcoming and loved the welcome pack with the added treats and history of the hotel. What truly stood out was the attention to detail, everything from the upscale bathroom products to the coffee, tea choices, separate kettle and mugs, Lovely outdoor patio seating and courtyard with beautiful flowers. As an added bonus is the heritage forest at the back of the hotel with numerous walking trails and so special to see some lovely deer during our stay. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend.
Beautiful grounds and very quiet. Property is well maintained and very clean. There’s lots of history to the building. The small deck off the hotel room wing was nice to sit out and enjoy the view.
Our room, though very clean and nicely furnished was dark as it looked out to the rear of the property. Bathroom was huge and had the only window.
Beautiful heritage property. Comfortable bed, large and spacious bathroom. Seating in the room was not accessible if you are also wanting to watch the tv. Friendly staff. Very clean.
Beautiful and outstanding
The staff were a bit odd. Asking for a couple of plates or some fresh water seemed like a problem.
Was beautifully maintained. Staff very friendly and was very helpful with all of our inquiries.
