Wasnt informed in advance that room include breakfast until i enquire when i was checking in.

Not being informed in advanc about the breakfast. There was no clear advice.

Terrific location, and lovely facility, felt right at home, wonderful tea ceremonites, restaurants and gym facilities.

Not many colleagues spoke english but that is understandable.

這次入住安排的房間很差，如廁後冇水沖，叫維修員來修，維修員只回覆沒得修理，需要等數分鐘後才能上水，非常不便，令本人不滿。房間廁所鏡框疑似曾被燒焦，很多焦黑，牆上插蘇位疑似被毀壞，風筒插蘇頭插唔入，安全起見亦不敢用插蘇位。房間還有其他問題，令我當晚好不安，不能寧靜入睡。前枱職員馬上回應，大堂前堂經理羅小姐亦誠懇道歉，並貼心照顧我們退房及離開酒店。

早餐味道好，款式多選擇，而且有特色

Nous avons aime la chambre, spacieuse et agréable, le service en chambre et la lingerie sont parfaits. Les extérieurs soignés et magnifiques, le hall d’entrée somptueux.

L’établissement est vraiment trop grand à notre goût. En revenant du restaurant chinois (par ailleurs excellent) nous avons mis du temps à retrouver notre chemin en traversant d’immenses salles inoccupées ou utilisées comme entrepôts. Notre repas du dernier soir au restaurant Market (à la carte) a été très décevant. Le petit déjeuner était superbe et excellent mais un matin, alors que le buffet ouvre à 6h, nous demandons des gaufres à 6h45, la réponse d’un serveur a été “le préposé prend son petit déjeuner” ! Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels Intercontinental et c’est la première fois que nous en sommes partis um peu déçus.

Loved our stay at InterContinental Kunming. Spacious rooms, peaceful environment and outstanding service. Reception staff and Conceirge team was very helpful .

The hotel's restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options, ranging from European-style yogurt and pastries to local dumplings and noodles.

- Although the hotel has a spa, the massage services are unreasonably expensive. - Very few of the hotel staff speak English, which can be a significant inconvenience.

Walking distance from Dianchi haigeng park 👍 Kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out. 👍👍 I was provided with a complimentary breakfast buffet. 👍👍👍

Отличный номер, завтрак и территория отеля. Очень вежливый и внимательный персонал, хотя мало кто говорит по-английски, но общение через переводчик работает. Недалеко до набережной, где хороший спот для бердвотчинга

We booked for 3 persons but the items (cup, towels) were for 2 persons. Hotel provided only after request.

The food at breakfast was very good and lots of selection. The staff was very helpful for any need or request. If your in Kunming I would highly recommend it.

A very beautiful hotel with grand lobby and majestic entry. The decor is elegant and the gardens are beautiful. The room was well appointed with a good view of the hotels central garden. I would have liked a small guest handbook explaining the available facilities.

Good hospitality is made by people and unfortunately I did not feel super welcome here. Check in was flat and I did not receive any information about my room location or where and when breakfast where was served. Not a major issue but it led to me feeling very "foreign" while travelling solo so far from home. I ended up staying in my room for the duration of my stay.

1. The staff slowness in dealing the indoor smoking after I told them there was one person smoking in corridor. Nobody took it serious, and response is I’ll escalate to manager level. 2. Window view is terrible. No lake or garden or anything. Hotel discriminates guests who made booking from Booking.com.

Excellent property with luxurious landscape, professional staff, excellent food selection and arrangement, a place to relax and enjoy nature.

Great modern resort style hotel

Amazing service from the concierge, even helped to bring in macdonalds delivery! Pool was large and enjoyable as well. Of course the room was also beyond comfortable. Great stay!

The environment is really pretty and tropical, lot of trees . Room is nice, staff very helpful, food is good. The only drawback is it’s kind of far from city. You will need taxi for most of the activities. The hotel is walking distance to DianChi only. Overall, hotel is nice for getaway , but not too convenient if you are here for touring the city

Absolutely gorgeous hotel although so vast, a mobility challenged person might find it daunting. The room was huge and all amenities top notch. The staff were very polite, although as with most hotels in China, one should have a translation app. The cocktail lounge was lovely, with live entertainment by a lovely couple ftom Ukraine. The all day cafe served a wonderful and vast buffet breakfast and dinner. The Teppanyaki restaurant was excellent. Try one of the multicourse set menus. Welcome and departure gift of tins of tea was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

房间很安静，管家小王服务很周到很贴心，儿童乐园花30买了一个手工话，工作人员一直陪同玩耍，换到了妈妈一小时的清净。很好的酒店，宽敞，地理位置绝佳，到滇池步行五十分钟。有儿童洗漱用品、睡衣、餐具，还有泳池也有儿童单独玩耍区域，很适合带娃出行

Everything is expected of InterContinental, but one exceptional is the staff that is over expectation. Mr. Smulin Li, the hotel concierge is extremely helpful with everything. Made our stay much smoother.

The hallway which is the carpet might be a bit dusty. My father who has allergy sneezes a lot.

I knew it wasn’t near the centre of Kunming. It is like an oasis so if you want to kick back and stay on sight it’s perfect if you want to get a buzz of real Kunming stay in the centre. We did both

i have an absolutely wonderful stay in Kunming Intercontinental. The staffs are very helpful, especially Stacy Chen and Enzo, they helped me at 8pm to get my Skype working for my meeting at 9pm. They helped me plan my stay in Kunming and I got to visit all the interesting spots in Kunming. The cleaning lady noticed that i did not have a pad for my mouse and she got one for me, very observant and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean and with beautiful garden. The room itself was very spacious and well appointed, spotlessly clean, with beautiful gardens and close to a big lake. It was a wonderful place. Natalie Ng

The staffs are helpful friendly and always offer help when requested. They are well trained with highly etiquette. Few worth mentioning occasions are a concierge staff offer to drive me near to the lake where I wanted to go baggie and show me the hotel surrounding. Gardening staff politely wait for guests to walk past them before carry on their jobs. Staff try their best to extend for me a late check out where by flight is at mid-night. A management staff offer to bring me to the correct lobby lift and more. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you and will come again as along as you maintain your high standard service and pricing.

Hotel room is spacious & clean, quiet .Friendly & helpful staff.

We had buffet dinner at the hotel, some of the dishes were emptied at 715 pm and was not replenished, reason given was there was a 100 day baby shower held at the restaurant. The barbecue chicken were not cooked thoroughly .

Very satisfying stay. My only complaint was the tendency for the shower water temperature to fluctuate. Assume it’s a regulator in the room. Did mention to the desk. Otherwise. Would stay here again without reservations

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. Huge selection but lacking in taste. Price does not match the food served. We thought we would have tasty food but were disappointed.

Staff could have been better. Staff at the Japanese section of the buffet was great but not the staff at breakfast behind the counters, they need more training in terms of service. Staff on the floor were attentive.

Long walk to the room from reception. Could have been solved with elevators on each block, or at least elevators in another block to avoid a long walk around. It’s a minor point, but noticeable.

The pool and spa are nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The room is beautifully designed. But the see-through bathroom made it challenging for the roommates to keep privacy.

The facility is huge and we got lost when trying to check in. It's nice to have live music in the evening but people smoked there. This made the experience unpleasant.
