The breakfasts were excellent, and the staff gave us lots of helpful recommendations on where to go, what to see, and the best places to shop. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et avons même pu disposer de notre chambre avant l’heure prévue, une attention très appréciée. Le thé offert est toujours délicieux, et le petit déjeuner est un véritable régal, avec des saveurs qui ravissent les papilles. Un grand merci à Saïd, une personne profondément humaine, gentille et bienveillante, qui a pris soin de nous avec beaucoup d’attention. Et que dire de Laurence, notre hôte, qui est tout simplement extraordinaire ! Sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et sa chaleur humaine rendent ce lieu encore plus unique. Merci à Laurence, Saïd et toute l’équipe pour cette magnifique expérience. À très bientôt, sans aucun doute !

This little Riad is nestled in a lovely part of the old Medina and very easy to get to. A charming place with lovely staff that always went above and beyond with any request. A great breakfast served on the rooftop each day made it very special.

No tengo palabras para describir lo que es este Riad. En primer lugar borras las fotos no le hacen justicia, es mucho más bello de lo que se ve y las habitaciones son absolutamente preciosas, bien decoradas, grandes, cómodas, los baños son enormes! Y si bien la habitación tiene todo lo que necesitas y más, como un hotel de cinco estrellas, lo que más destacó es el Personal. Son todos las personas más amables que conocí en mi vida! El primer día llegamos de noche y llovía muchísimo. Pero teníamos mucha hambre y ya eran las 11 de la noche. Nos acompañaron caminando hasta un restaurant para que no nos perdamos y nos ofrecieron un paraguas. Desde allí, fue una atención excelente, siempre con una sonrisa y una amabilidad enorme. La dueña es una persona cercana, eficiente, amable, que se preocupa porque estes cómodo y bien y te da una atención personalizada para explicarte qué hacer en Marrakech. La ubicación es buena. Al principio me pareció que quizás era un poco lejos de la plaza, pero estaba equivocada. Se lleva muy rápidamente a la Medina por una avenida principal, concurrida. Está en medio de el lugar por donde pasa el Tour gratuito organizado por Civitatis. Literalmente pasan por la puerta del Riad. Cuando esto para que vean que es una zona muy céntrica. A la vuelta de nuestro viaje por el desierto nos quedamos en otro Riad que estaba más cerca de la plaza. Ese término siendo más feo, más caro y no tenía nada que ver con la decoración, servicio, y atención que encontramos en este.

El desayuno es delicioso. Quizás, a mi gusto, lefaltaban más opciones saladas, pero eso es una cuestión de gusto.

This charming Riad is tucked away behind the Mosque but easily accessible as the casbah can be a maze to negotiate. It is beautifully furnished in Morrocan local style. Red roses, red velvets, so cosy. Laurence was a fantastic hostess, warm and friendly, we had lovely chats. She runs a tight ship here and the service is tops. Breakfast on the roof in the sun was a real treat. Wifi is good. The staff are so helpful and ready to assist in all ways. It’s a 5 room riad and guests are made to feel part of the family. Particular notice to the beautiful monogrammed white cotton sheets. Really loved it!

Tout était parfait. Un personnel aux petits soins. Laurence a totalement pris en charge et organisé nos demandes : prise en charge des l’aéroport, visite guidée de Marrakech, sortie quad et chameau. Cela aide grandement lorsque l’on a peu de temps et que l’on ne connaît pas la ville. Said, Soufiane et Fatima sont tous très agréables et au service des hôtes.

The staff was amazing, they gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel so safe. They gave us such good advice and made the whole trip feel like a dream. They helped us navigate the city, we booked a trip to the Ozoud waterfalls, enjoyed the hammam and massage. Also the food they serve is fantastic we also had Tajine in the riad and it was a 3 course menu, amazing. They always welcomed us with warm smiles. At the end of the week we felt like we found a home in Marrakech and we definitely want to come back to Riad Charme d'orient and Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatima, Housna and nuage 😻

The woman who does the housekeeping and helps around the Riad was very kind and attentive.

The man who works during the day doesn’t know the first thing about good hospitality. This was our last Riad in Morocco and up until this point, I had the best service I’ve ever experienced. They didn’t assist with our bags even though it was raining and he said it was my drivers job (even though there was no parking), but I had been in Morocco for a few weeks at this point and every other place we stayed at assisted with no issues. He also tried to lie and say he was the only one there when my driver called him to come help, but when we entered there were multiple staff members present, They had us fill out a form with no direction upon arrival even though every other place did it for us and when I asked a question he was blatantly rude. I brought to his attention that the heat didn’t work and he just told me it was fine until it was brought up multiple times and finally with the owner. Speaking of the owner she was French and not Moroccan which is probably why it lacks that great Moroccan charm and hospitality. The breakfast was subpar and nothing to write home about. I stayed in cheaper Riads and received way better breakfasts. Also, I had them send my clothes off for washing and they told me when they would be back, but then that time came and went and I kept asking him about laundry and he just didn’t answer me. I didn’t get it figured out until I asked the woman that cleans the rooms. This whole experience was extremely disappointing and real put a damper on the end of my trip. With all the other great places to stay I really wouldn’t recommend this one.

Lawrence, Said, and the team were amazing! We had such a great stay here. We also booked quad biking and camel riding through the riad and it was incredible. Breakfasts were amazing and varied every day. We would love to stay again, thank you for having us!

The Charme d'Orient was beautiful and the staff were helpful in every way. They shared insights about the. culture of Marrakech, the Berber people, and of Morocco overall. They even helped me find a pharmacy when I really needed one, walking with me to make sure I didn't get lost. I hope you have as nice a stay as I did when you come.

We loved our time here. We arrived very early in the morning and were warmly welcomed by Laurence, Soufiane, and Said, who even served breakfast on arrival. We immediately felt at home. They provided a clear explanation of Marrakech with a map, which was very helpful. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice, and Soufiane and Said truly do their utmost best. The riad is in a central but quiet location. Our room was calm and the shower was great. We celebrated my partner’s birthday and they surprised us with a cake and a musician, which was such a thoughtful touch. The riad has a pool, a roof terrace, and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended. I will certainly come back.

I cannot think of much. But if I can give some tips, it would be that the coffee can be a bit stronger and the beds are slightly hard. But then I am really looking for something, as we have slept very well.

Could not recommend this place enough!!! Amazing service from entry to exit. Very relaxed friendly atmosphere and was like a hidden gem after visiting the busy streets. Dipping in the pool after being out in the hot sun was an absolute delight and breakfast was a thing of beauty.

Riad Charme is such a beautiful and calm place, even though it's just a 10 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Saïd (and everyone else too) were just wonderful, making us feel right at home. The interior was stunning, everything was absolutely spotless and the room was gorgeous too. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place close to everything to stay here.

Every member of staff were incredibly nice, hospitable, friendly and attentive. Right from the beginning we felt incredibly welcomed. They were all very informative and were able to help us make bookings, arrive from the airport, and even allowed us to leave our bags here after check out so we could continue exploring the souks. The breakfast that was provided was a generous spread, offering Moroccan tea, coffee, yogurts, fruit, omelettes, cake and more, accompanied by fresh orange juice. The bedrooms and reception are beautifully decorated, clean, and a good size for 2. The rooftop is perfect with ample comfortable seating, with access to the jacuzzi and pool downstairs. We have already decided if we were to come back to Marrakech, this Riad will be the go to place to stay!

I wanted a true Moroccan experience, so I decided to stay in a riad. Charme d'Orient did not disappoint. From the welcome to the daily breakfast, the rooms and the staff, everything was exceptional. The owner was friendly. She even took the time to look up information about my country and ask questions. She was very personable. I would definately stay here again when in Marrakech.

I stayed at this riad for a week and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The service was excellent; the staff and even the owner herself went out of their way to make us feel at home. The place was very clean and always smelling fresh. And the breakfast was delicious, everything fresh and homemade. I highly recommend staying there. To pay for your stay, if, like me, I chose the option to pay upon arrival when booking, it must be in cash. If it's by card, you must have a PayPal account to pay.

Staff were amazing and very friendly and accommodating, was my first trip to Morroco and my very first solo trip and they all made me feel super comfortable and at home. The breakfast was delicious, the hotel was beautiful and the room was very clean. Will definitely be returning to Riad Charme d'Orient.

The Riad is very quaint and charming. The decor is done very tastefully. The owner, Laurence, was amazing and took great care of us. I mentioned to her last minute that I was Gluten Free and she arranged for GF bread and cookies for me for breakfast every day. Said, Suleman, and their wives were great and very attentive to our needs. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious and bathroom came with everything we needed and robes too!!! Riad was always fragrant with orange blossom scents and it was so romantic. It is a MUST to stay here, if you visit Marrakech!! We will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! The Riad interior is beautiful! Room was very clean and everything was very nicely decorated. The breakfast on the rooftop was excellent, best we had in Morocco and great service, they even served omelettes. The hospitality of the owner and all the staff was very attentive and friendly and really made us feel so relaxed and comfortable! The location is great, right by the souks markets, very easy walk to main square and restaurants. It was very hot when we were there so the refreshing pool was great to cool off. Our flight was delayed and we came late on Saturday evening when traffic was crazy and we couldn’t find parking, but we called and they found us parked on the side of the road and helped us find parking and took our bags to the Riad!

The Charme L’Orient Riad is a wonderful choice to stay in Marrakech. The owners, Laurence and Alain , and their team , Said and his family , are exceptional hosts that made us feel very welcomed and cared for in this beautiful city of Marrakech!

Good location. Riad has a lot of charm & Moroccan authenticity. Lovely tiled soaker pool outside our room. Nice rooftop where amazing lots of variety breakfast was served. Had a relaxing spa treatment. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. They went above & beyond, including walking us to our restaurant & a supermarket for spices.

Soaker pool closed early in the evening. We came back from shopping one day very warm & looking forward to getting into pool but it was closed for the day.

Amazing. Location was perfect, close to everything but still kind of secluded. The hotel interior was beautiful, and the staff was so welcoming. Super warm, as if you had just arrived to a family members home. They went above and beyond and always made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were beautiful and reflected perfectly the culture and tradition of Marrakech. Quite simply, a delightful and lovely place to visit. We recently stayed for 6 nights at the Riad in early May 2025 to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The Riad itself is gorgeous, and the breakfasts varied but always filling and sumptuous. They were served on the rooftop in delightful surroundings. We were so impressed with the level of personal attention, service and kindness from Laurence and all of the team there. They were also super flexible with timing for us, they could not have been more helpful. That visit will certainly stay in our minds for a long, long time. Highly recommended.

There are so many beautiful Riads in Marrakesh (and Morocco), we spent nights in five different ones during our trip. Although we have fond memories of each one, the Riad Charme d'Orient Adults Only is truly the best we have been to, not only in Morocco but one of the best places we have been staying to while traveling around the world. So if you are looking for a wonderful, family-friendly place and wondering where to spend your nights in Marrakesh... look no further than this beautiful Riad. From the moment you walk in, you will be surrounded by beautiful interiors and most importantly wonderful people, the entire team and the owner Laurence , make you feel like you are visiting old friends or family. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bedding and towels are crisp fresh white, every detail of the room and all Riad has the highest quality. Breakfast served on the terrace was the tastiest we have had in Morocco, also beautifully served :) , Laurence, thank you again for the wonderful welcome and help us buying tickets to Jardin Majorelle. Also , big thank you to the entire fantastic team, especially to Said. We will definitely be back one day in the future.

I don’t know where to start… we just had the most incredible trip of our lives and it was mainly due to this Riad and the people there. I have travelled a lot and stayed in so many accommodations and I have never stayed anywhere as good as Riad Charme d’Orient. The moment we arrived Laurence and her team made us feel at home, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The Riad is breathtakingly beautiful and feels so special just as a building but it’s the team who make this place truly magical. We had a Hammam as well as a massage all at the Riad and both were incredible which was an amazing start to the trip and truly amazing to have these experiences within the Riad. The breakfast which was served every morning was delicious and the room was perfect, so clean, so stunning and everything we could wish for. Laurence & her team really looked after us and although we were only in Marrakech for 3 nights, we instantly felt so relaxed and welcomed. We already are planning to come again and will only stay at Riad Charme d’Orient. I can promise you there won’t be anywhere else in the world that is as amazing as this Riad. We can’t thank Laurence & her team enough, they are the best people and we felt emotional leaving. You HAVE to stay here and you will have the BEST trip of your life!

Good location within the Medina. Super friendly and helpful host and staff. Breakfast was a feast. Room was delightful. I would highly recommend the riad to any first-time traveller to Marrakech.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Room cleaned and tidied every day. Breakfast was excellent. Used their hamam as well as transfer service, both were spot on.

As a person that usually uses modern hotels I tried this Riad and now the bar is set for Riads. Attention to detail from the owner and their team was an eye opener. The owner actually comes and talks with you. The place is immaculate too. The breakfast is huge and couldn’t finish either day and I am one that can eat double my weight

The property was absolutely fantastic, from the moment you walk in, the atmosphere created makes you feel you are in Marrakesh straight away. The Riad is stunning, beautifully decorated, comfortable and relaxed. Our room was perfect, every time we came back at the end of the day it had been tidied and freshened up by the staff . We had a fantastic stay, Laurence and the staff were so so welcoming and friendly they make you feel part of their family. They made our stay perfect. If you are looking for a Riad to give you the experience of Marrakesh then I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully if we return we would not consider anywhere else to stay. Nothing only Leaving and Coming home, 🙁

This Road was in a great position and walkable to nearly all the places we wanted to go. It was also just out of the way to be quiet. Beautifully kept with the beat staff. Lawrence and Said we're just delightful. Everything we wanted and more.

Laurence and her team, particularly Said, Souffian and Fatima provided us with a wonderful stay. The Riad is a charming oasis in the middle of the Kasbah. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast is superb. I would recommend the Charme D'Orient to anyone visiting Marrakech.

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Laurence and her staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help all their guests We were treated like family. The Riad itself is so incredibly beautiful and. artistically decorated in Moroccan style. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Laurence arranged our airport transfer and a wonderful all day tour. The Riad itself is in the Medina and within walking distance to all the attractions and Souks. If we return to Marrekech we will be sure to book this superb Riad We were so sad to leave Thank you so much !

We had the most incredible stay at Riad Charme d'Orient. Nothing was too much trouble for Laurence, Soufian, Said and team. We felt so safe and looked after the whole trip. Said organised a wonderful day trip for us to Ourika Valley. We also had a wonderful hammam experience at the Riad. We have give a special shout out to Soufian who is the kindest, most hard working and hospitable man we have both ever met. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for a very much needed break!

It is very cool! Completely nondescript from the front door, you step into an exquisitely designed, immaculately clean oasis. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the medina, and good local restaurants, Excellent communication prior to arrival.

There wasn’t one thing that I didn’t like! Right from the moment I approached the front door I knew that this was going to be an incredible experience! And man,was I right! I was greeted by Said,warmly and very graciously.He explained all and any details regarding my stay,providing me with a map of the general area,places to see,etc.What a man❤️ Then I got to meet Laurence,the Lady of the Riad.What a joy!! Her warm smile and generous heart captivated me immediately! I felt so at home for my short stay and would never consider staying anywhere else ❤️ Along with Said and Laurence,Savyon prepared and served me a delicious dinner and another unforgettable experience.And hats off to Fatima and the other ladies of the staff who took great care of me!! Especially my endless need to drink the wonderful coffee up on the rooftop terrace! I’m sorry for making you have to go up and down those stairs so many times 😃❤️❤️ As you may imagine,it was very difficult to say goodbye ❤️❤️❤️

It was a perfect week. A delightful host and helpful staff. Near to the centre with spa facilities and a great breakfast. The people at the hotel made everything easy and pleasant. We will be back, definitely.

A very lovely team was taking care of us all the time. It was an oasis of calmity and relaxing atmosphere in the hectic City of Marrakesh! The breakfast was amazing, we would definitely recommend the riad. Nice greetings to Laurence and the Team 😉

I have travelled quite a bit and all over the world and I can honestly say this is the very best travelling accommodation experience I have ever had. From the absolute perfect and beautiful taste of the decor in the Riad, to the extra care taken to provide both hospitality and practical guidance, to the friendliness and care from the staff, to the location- a quiet retreat from the fullonness of Marrakesh but a 5min walk to excellent restaurants, the southern end of the souk, and the range of historical sights in the Mellah area. The Hammam and massage was excellent and the morning breakfasts everything you'd want. Thankyou so much to Laurence, Said and team... we will definitely be back Inshallah!

Returning to this oasis after each busy day of sightseeing was like being welcomed into an old friend's home. The riad offers huge breakfasts with different items every day, and sweet mint tea (the best we have had in Morocco) is always available. There are places to relax, including deck chairs on the sunny roof terrace and seats beside the running water of the internal pool. There is also a hammam available, which was great. Above all, this was the most incredible hospitality we have ever experienced on our travels. Highly recommend!

Charme d’Orient was better than expected, traditional beautiful Riad , super clean & in a great location, only a short walk to most of the local attractions tombs, palace & medina. Pool & jacuzzi not open when we were there, we did know this prior to our arrival - will have to go back when it is open as looks lovely! Laurence & her staff were very attentive & could not praise them enough, very helpful, polite & all lovely. Coco the parrot was very entertaining🦜.

This is a beatiful riad in a perfect part of the city. You enter the door into an oasis of serenity where every detail is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everywhere is tastefully designed in traditional style. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the sun. Laurence and Said were warm & welcoming and we were treated like a member of the family by everyone (but not intrusively!) and offered sweet mint tea each day. We had dinner on the first night and it was fantastic, the best meal we have had in a while, not just in Marrakech! The breakfasts were also amazing and a perfect start to the day. We really can't find a fault and will stay here again when we next come to Marrakech.

Everything was just perfect. I can recommend with 100%.

A superb Riad. A really nice alternative to the 'normal' hotel type stay. It is excellently located for exploring Marrakech or for Tour pick ups - a nearby walk.

Laurence, said, Soufiane, Asnah, fatimazahra and warda were all kind, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, we just can say enough great things about our experience here. This was our first trip to Marrakech and I don’t know how we got so lucky to find this Riad. I have zero reservations recommending this place to other. We absolutely loved it. Thanks all, we hope to be back soon!!

It was delightful to stay at a traditional Riad. It was conveniently located within the medina and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff were super friendly and very caring. It helps if you or one of your party can speak french.

Even before I arrived, I was impressed with how welcoming and helpful everyone was. The manager himself met me at the taxi drop-off point and helped me with my luggage. The room and the entire riad was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and I adored the roof top garden where I could relax with mint tea, cookies, and a good book. Just an amazing, wonderful experience.
