I enjoyed my experience in this hotel, because the room was always clean and tided, the breakfast, was very complete, and the service was so good, Veysel was the person who gave us the room, and he was so kind. I would definetly come back if I have have the opertunity.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The atmosphere, the staff, and the location were amazing. Breakfast was great. The receptionist was absolutely fantastic. He helped us so much with using the train and choosing local restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

It’s a stunning place! We found it walking around the area and decided to stay there! The location is very convenient for tourists and staff there are great, especially Veysel. He helped us a lot and gave valuable advice, so my fiancé and I are very grateful for him. Rooms are clear and comfortable, also the view is pretty nice, we had a tiny balcony there.

I had a pleasant stay at Aprilis Hotel. The breakfast was great with a rich open buffet, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the terrace view was beautiful. Although it was my first time using the hotel, I was given early check-in and breakfast, which allowed me to start sightseeing early. Mr. VEYSEL at the reception was extremely gentlemanly and pleasant, and the hospitality was on par with that of a luxury hotel. Arriving just a one-minute walk from the station, it was extremely convenient, and our room was upgraded, making for a comfortable stay. The rooftop design and view were also fantastic. By Mr. VEYSEL's recommendation, we took a dinner cruise, where we were able to watch various traditional Turkish dances up close, making for a truly wonderful evening. After checking out, a taxi was arranged for me to the airport, and we arrived safely. However, I panicked when I realized I had left my smartphone in the taxi due to my mistake. I immediately called the hotel and explained the situation, and Mr. VEYSEL's prompt and appropriate response allowed me to retrieve my smartphone safely, and we are able to make it in time for our flight check-in.

Overall, our experience was excellent from the moment we walked into the hotel. The hotel is very close to the attractions. Metro is literally a 1 minute walk. Brother ibrahim was very welcoming. He gave us a map of Istanbul. Advised us how and where to travel. Brother veysel was excellent, too. The whole staff were very nice and polite. I would recommend this hotel. Very good for price. Breakfast was nice too

This was my first time in Istanbul. When I entered the Hotel, I was greeted by the Staff right away, they helped me with my accommodation and showed me all places worth seeing in the City. The room was clean and well equipped. I was very impressed by the help of Veysel and Arda, they both were very professional, supportive and kind. I very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in an amazing Hotel so close to Istanbul’s City center.

I haven’t visited Istanbul in 30 years. I’m very glad that I chose to stay at Aprilis Hotel. The staff was the nicest I’ve ever had while visiting this city, there were two particular individuals that made my stay that much astounding - Veysel and Arda. They showed me great courtesy. The stay enriched my travel experience, and it is close to my favourite place in the world - the Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is immaculate and the location is perfect for shopping in sultanmuhamet and few steps away from main train line. Breakfast has great variety. I had an outstanding stay at Aprilis Hotel. This was my second visit, and once again the experience exceeded expectations. The check‑in process was smooth, the staff were attentive and welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and well‑equipped. The amenities were excellent, and the location made it easy to explore the city. What impressed me most is the honesty of the staff — during my first stay, I had unknowingly dropped 20 lira, and they kindly brought it up to my room. It was a good hotel but the floor was a bit dirty and the water was too hot even when I put it at cold. The shower is also too small. But the people were very nice in the hotel and said u could feed the fish. They also help us with a lot of stuff. Another good thing is that it’s right in the middle of the market and is very close to mosques. It’s also close to the tram and to food places.

My family & I loved this cosy boutique hotel for its strategic location, just a few steps to the Cemberlitas tram station, plentiful eateries, shops and a supermarket just 2 doors away. Getting to the places of interest such as Grand Bazaar, Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia, etc is very convenient, all within walking distance. Notably, we enjoyed our stay at Aprilis was because of the warm, friendly, helpful staff - special mention should be given to Ercan, Ibrahim, Ferdoun & Bardan. Thank you and I would definitely return to this hotel when we visit Istanbul again.

When we first arrived at the hotel, the staff welcomed us warmly. Even though it was our first time, the reception staff provided us with excellent information about the city. They also provided us with complimentary public transportation passes. The staff was very helpful and kind. We were especially fortunate to have Ibrahim and Berdan in constant communication with us. When we returned to our room, exhausted, they offered us coffee. I highly recommend the hotel. I think it's one of the best places in the area..

Location of the hotel is perfect for a person who visit Istambul to do some sightseeing. It is really close to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque (5-10 minutes walk). Moreover less than 5 minutes walk there is a tram station which you can use to visit Karakoy, Dolmbache Palace, Galata Tower etc. Another strong point of this hotel is a roof top with the view on the sea and bar available for guests. Great place to spend evenings or watch sunsets. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Internet connection was very good. Staff was very helpful, service on top level. Breakfast served in the hotel was good. Gym available in the hotel was poor (very basic equipment), however I believe that there are many more interesting things to do while staying in Istanbul than working out in hotel gym. When it comes to the noise, as hotel is located in the city center, in a very crowded area, you can expect to hear some street noises when you room is located on the street side. However I believe it is just a cost of the great location of this hotel.

Aprilis Hotel was centrally located, and close to a lot of the main tourist attractions. The metro was only a short walk from the hotel, the tram stop was 20m from the front door, and the supermarket was right next door. The hotel manager Berdon went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, even bringing us a complimentary fruit platter to our room which was unexpected, and refreshing after a big day of site seeing.

They took care of us throughout our stay and provided us with information about Istanbul. Our room also overlooked the street. Breakfast in the mornings was always fresh and delicious. This hotel is located in the heart of the city. All the fun things are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. All the staff are very helpful and they planned the whole trip for us. We never had to go anywhere looking for the tours. Ibrahim, Ercan, Arad and the other employees were super helpful. Breakfast was delicious.Room number 502 and 503 are the best rooms of the hotel with a beautiful sea view and do not miss the massage at the hotel.We had a lovely stay.

I had an incredible stay at Aprilis Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were so welcoming and helpful (One of the workers even let us borrow their Samsung plug, because we didnt have a 2-pin adapter). The location is perfect, right in the heart of Sultanahmet, with major attractions like the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque just a short walk away. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Has a nice open terrace with a swing and table and chairs. Breakfast was a great, with a variety of hot foods, deli meats, cheeses, olives, fruit, dips, and bakery items. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the friendly, professional service from all the staff members (They helped organise a day trip away from Istanbul for us too) They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul! I’ll definitely be back

The location of April’s hotel is ideal to explore old Istanbul. I was pleasantly surprised about how being in such a central location in the middle of all the action and facing the street, our room was super quiet and we could barely hear anything from outside. The breakfast was delicious! An assortment of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, typically Turkish and so plentiful! I especially recommend the croissants, cookies and banana bread, all baked in house. There is a tram stop to the T1 line really close to the hotel. Public transport is easy to understand and convenient to venture further afield in Istanbul, so we found this a definite perk of the hotel. The whole staff at April’s is super friendly. The people at reception helped us book transfers to the airport and offered support to connect to the Wifi. The cleaning staff were very accommodating when we were coming in and out of the room. The terrace at Aprilis is breezy and has an amazing view over the Sea of Marmara. We were a bit hesitant about the Wifi connection at April’s (based on reviews) and were pleasantly surprised that steps have been taken to solve this and make it a reliable service. No complaints on this front. The only negative thing (if any) I would have to say is that our flight was quite late and we requested to use the room for a few more hours free of charge but were refused, even though the hotel was quite empty. We got an extra hour though and hung out at the lovely terrace and charge our devices there!

I went to Aprilis Hotel with my family in July. It was a wonderful experience. The staffs was very friendly and kind. The location is perfect, just a 1 minute walk from the tram station and 10 minute from every historical places. The view from the terrace bar was amazing. See you next time..✨

Room-had minimal yellow lighting and faced a stairway no sunlight-the hotel manager told me he was doing me a favour- apparently I had booked one single and one double but he had given me a quadruple and a double!I had in fact booked two double rooms. Two days later a smaller room was made available to us which we had to decline as there was no space to even open a suitcase fully! On the first morning for breakfast-the eggs had finished in the serving buffet we were told this would cost an extra 5 euros however as it was our first day they would give it us for free-Quite a shock as we had already paid for breakfast The highlight of this trip was when my wallet went missing from my room-it was there the night before and after breakfast as we were leaving the hotel I noticed it was not in my bag-however when I questioned the hotel about this the manager advised me no one apart from housekeeping had been in my room and she had worked there for over six years ... hence definitely could not be a thief! Final straw was as we were leaving the hotel - on the 1st day we were advised the drinks were free in the room - we actually double checked this with them - as we were in the taxi two men run up to my father and said pay for them and tried to pry open the taxi and get aggresive! Would not even check with the initial person who told us they were free! Finally the manager had no respect for women at all – almost dismissed all my concerns and did not take me seriously at all

Very nice hotel next to the city center. Nice bedroom with good bathroom. Hotel staff are all friendly, especially Ibrahim and Ercan, who are always kind, friendly, and will always help you with anything. We come every year and we are very happy with this hotel. A big thank you again to Ibrahim.

Smashing room, plenty of room and cupboard space. Good size t.v. safe and brewing facilities in the room. Lovely bathroom with a fantastic shower , hairdryer and toiletries. The staff are unbelievable ..so helpful, kind and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is continental but plentiful. I noticed there were a lot of pre and post cruisers stopping here. I would come to this hotel again in a heartbeat .

We stayed here for two nights after a cruise. We could not have chosen a better spot! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. We arrived before check-in and they held our luggage and let us enjoy breakfast. Once our room was ready, they quickly brought up our luggage. As far as location, it cannot be beat. Walking distance to so many historical places. Also easy to get to the grand bazaar, blue mosque, etc. Also very easy to walk to many many excellent restaurants. I hope we are lucky enough to make it back to Istanbul and if we do, I will only stay here.

The stay was perfect. The room was perfectly clean every day and comfy. The breakfast buffet was very complete and savory. All the staff were nice and profesional. Don’t miss the rooftop, it has beautiful views. If we come back to Istanbul we will repeat here.

This is a smaller hotel conveniently located in the old city. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They gave us great information which made it easy for us to make our plans on what to visit and where to eat. We could walk to most everything including the Blue Mosque. The hotel is clean and nice. There is a wonderful bar upstairs with great views. The rooms are good size and quite comfortable. We loved having a room where we could look out on the street and feel connected to the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Tarik in particular was very helpful and went through all different things/excursions we can do, he also showed us around the local area. He helped with our suitcases. The hotel is local & walking distance to the main tourist attractions and local shops & restaurants.Tram link is also right next to the hotel. We would have loved to have a room with a nice view but nonetheless the room was very clean. Room service was efficient when required. Breakfast has a variety selection which is great. Tarik was really helpful, he spent time with us to explain the surroundings and helped us with out bags. He customer service was fantastic. The location of the hotel was really good, close to sultan Ahmet within walking distance and 5mins away from Grand Baazar with the hustle and bustle of food, dessert and local shops.

We stayed for 6 days at the Aprilis Hotel. It is an excellent starting point for discovering the city. All important sights are in walking distance and there is a tram nearby. The staff is friendly and helpfull, especially Taruk and Erlan, thank you! The rooms are clean an the breakfast provides a large choice of food.

We had a really great time staying at the Aprilis Hotel. The staff looked after us so well, with such courtesy and kindness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable; the hotel was very central for all of our sightseeing; the breakfasts were plentiful; and the views from the rooftop bar were incredible. The hotel is on the main tram route, with only 10 minutes walk down the hill to Haggia Sophia and the Basilica Cisterns. We stayed here for 12 nights and found plenty to do in and around the city. The staff greeted us with Turkish tea on arrival,. and brought complimentary drinks to our room one night.The breakfast staff were super helpful, and the reception staff were a great help in helping us plan our sightseeing. I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very kind staff. Amazing hotel with very god foods. The breakfast very good, the hotel is very good located, because a lot of places what must be viseted by tourists is not far away. 10 minutes walking is the Hagia Sofia, the cisterna basilique, the blue mosque, and Topkapi palace.

I stayed here with my family for 4 days and it was a very pleasant experience given this was our first visit to Istanbul. The hotel is in the heart of Istanbul and all the attractions and hotels are walkable distance. The hotel staff (Tarik, Ibrahim and Ercan) I interacted with were very helpful. They took care of our transportation, bookings for attractions and provided recommendations and answers to all our questions. Highly recommend.

The property cannot be in a better location, but the place is very dated and the room was way too small. Because it was Winter, we couldn’t turn on air or fan, and we were always very hot, having to sleep with window open and noise not pleasant.

Decent hotel in middle of Fatih. Good location but with that comes a bit of noise. Windows/walls were pretty thin so could hear street/hotel noise. Breakfast standard - all in all a decent choice

Very nice service

It’s a nice location but you can tell the extra paint and the nice decorations were only applied to the lobby and breakfast area. The room itself hasn’t seen much love for a while. The worst part of it, the room has AC but it didn’t cool enough. The room felt like it was 25C all day and all night. Which is better than 32c that was outside but difficult to sleep and be comfortable all day. Only stayed here because of the 3 beds.

A good place to be if you would like to walk to all the historical attractions around SutanHammet. The staff were friendly, helpful courteous and just nice humans. The rooms are cozy and clean. There is no noise coming in from the street level. There were no in-dining options but there are plenty of restaurants on the same street. Thank you Aprilis for a memorable visit.

The hotel is perfectly situated to walk to the main attractions with a multitude of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, the roof terrace bar is stunning but the best factor about the hotel is the staff. Everyone was amazing but special mentions to Berdan and Elif for doing everything they could to ensure we had a great time.

Staffs were all professional and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, near tramway, restaurants, Sultanahmet square, and quiet.

Would be nice to have an iron & ironing board in each room. Also would be good to have more worktop surface space in the room as the dressing table is too small and for a lady there is not enough space to put all her makeup items and get ready too.

Enjoyable stay - the location is brilliant - so close not more than 2 mins from a tram stop - then you are connected across Istanbul. The staff are really helpful and go out of their way to help you - I can’t say enough good things about their customer service. Breakfast was pleasant and enough to give you a good start to the day. We had our elderly grandmother so my parents and them had a connecting rooms and this was very beneficial for us. Not all the rooms have a window which looks outside so check the type of room you book beforehand, economy room etc. the cleaning service was also brilliant.

We had a pleasant stay and the staff were kind and friendly and they provided the best possible service and aimed to meet all the required needs. Overall no complaints.

First time to stay here, it is good and acceptable.

The staff were helpful but the bed was uncomfortable and the room was very small and cramped and we didn't have a window.

Have air in the toilet, stuff attitude is good, but not well trained. Room condition is not very well.

Very good location. Bedding and bathroom were clean, and cleaned when requested. My only criticism is the state of the room itself was a bit dated. The floors had water damage, and the lighting in the room was very dim. It had more wear and is older than the impression you get in the pictures.

Great location,good breakfast,excellent staff and service.Even airport pick up and return service was at limo-like luxury vehicles .What there not to like.I would definitely recommend this property for any travelers...
