The Oceanside Motel

Loved the location, right next to the beach so we could walk across to the beach whenever which we loved! Was very clean! I’m a commercial cleaner so I know when attention to detail has been used.

The bed was quite hard and the pillows were cheap and therefore not comfortable, the shower was a dribble, no pressure at all.

We had a amazing stay thank you Dan for letting us check in early. Spa bath & everything it came with was nice and thoughtful. This place is a must stay, definitely stay for more then 1 day. greatful.

Views and location were excellent. Also the rooms were cosy and fitted with all the necessary heating equipments which made my stay comfortable.

Hot water was limited ,so when we filled the jacuzzi we had to wait for 3 hrs for the water to again get heated again .

Tv had no option for Netflix and couldn't watch in bed. Bedroom had no view at all and was quite cramped to be honest.

Such a superb setting directly opposite the beach. Room very comfortable with all amenities we required. Within easy walk/drive of the Town Centre. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend.

Breakfast was cereal, yoghurts and fruit and bread (for toasting in the room) delivered to the room the day before. It was OK but a pretty basic breakfast and we like a few luxuries at breakfast time.

Breakfast was great - a good amount to start the day! I also enjoyed a lovely spa bath, which was a bonus! Location was great too - a ringside view of the lunar eclipse from my balcony!

Nothing really, except it took me while to find the switch for the spa. That could be made more visible perhaps.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed! The staff was extremely kind/ friendly, the room was very clean, and the view was everything! The beach is right outside your door which means the location is perfect. We walked across the road and watched the sunrise on the beach. If we lived in NZ we would stay here again.

Being from the states we were not aware that you needed to hit the switch to turn anything on.

This was my second visit to this motel and to Whitianga. The motel located on the beach road meant you could step out of the patio door, down a couple of steps to the lawn and walk across the road to the beach walk and the dunes to the beach. Amazing views. The rooms were good and the service was a delight and it was always easy to get around the area and see a whole myriad of activities. Certainly recommend the motel and just as much Whitianga as a beautiful location to visit.

Beautiful location. Loved the view. Loved how u can access the front from the sliding doors. Breakfast was amazing. Room was perfectly spaced out. Staff was amazing.

Netter Empfang. Schönes, großes und sauberes Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer. Nur kurz über die Straße und man ist drin. Restaurants und der Irish Pub (Rabatt wenn der Zimmerschlüssel gezeigt wird) sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten hier eine schöne Zeit. Klare Empfehlung!

It was a lovely location directly across the road from the beach. The property was very clean too.

Upstairs room was difficult to manage on crutches.

Right on the beach, a lovely well equipped unit. Friendly staff, pleasant stroll into town and a short drive from Coromandel attractions. We would definitely stay here again
