Beachside Resort Motel Whitianga

For a room for disability the kitchen was good, I am in a powerchair and I could reach most things.

No access to the room from the designated car park because of a step. I was unable to get to the lounge because of seating arrangement, couldn't reach the any remotes (TV, heating). No seating to have a shower. movement in and out of the bedroom and bathroom was tight and a see that others found the same because of the damage on door surrounds. I often travel alone and this unit I could not manage.

We like staying here as the location to town and the beach is fantastic and the rooms are always clean and comfortable; they have everything you need.

Only a small thing really, the pillows although nice and fluffy don't have much substance.

I have visited this facility multiple times this year, Staff are very friendly and were very helpful with suggestions for local eateries. The deluxe studio is very peaceful, clean and spacious. Has everything i need to enjoy my stay

Lovely room, nice to see some ocean and the odd boat coming in too. All you needed in the room too, and staff very friendly. A handy location to all sorts, you could drive or walk to get anywhere you wanted which was great.

Close to beach and township

It had a heated pool but it wasn’t that warm that it should have been better to make the swimming pool hot the swimming pool was just mild warm

The location is near to restaurants and the jetty, as well as its just beside the beach. The staff is friendly when check in as well. The place is fully equipped with kitchen, washing machine and dryer.

Great location with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have some spades you can borrow to go to hot water beach and some tennis equipment if you want to play at their court

The only thing that was a small inconvenience is that the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom.

Wasn't an issue for this time of year but there is no air conditioning. They do however supply fans.

Clean and the bed was very comfortable

This motel is in an excellent location very close to the beach and a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. We received a very warm welcome from a lovely, friendly lady on reception who was also helpful with recommendations for dining. The unit itself was super clean and really well equipped and comfortable.

The proximity to the beach and town. The size of the apartment. Great to have an extra bed in the living area. Kitchenette was the right size for our needs. The apartment was lovely and clean.

A spacious, clean, and well maintained motel. Only a short stroll to the beach and local cafes, takeaway shops and restaurants.

The TV needs an upgrade as it struggled with the built in apps. We only noticed this as we had a rainy day during our stay, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

It was spotlessly clean & comfy. Very central to everything & the receptionist was friendly & very helpful.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral zwischen Strand, Hafen und Promenade. Sie ist ruhig, sauber und ordentlich. Wir konnten unsere Wäsche problemlos und kostenfrei selbst waschen und bekamen nette Ausflugstipps von der Rezeption.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Hier wurden unsere Wünsche erfüllt und wir haben zwei nette Tage dort verbracht.

I liked everything

Proximity to beach, eateries, sightseeing destinations. Comfortable, clean well kept rooms. Some were good sized, some average sized. Ample parking on site Swimming pool on property, although sized is very very small. Cleanliness & upkeep of the rooms was excellent & the kitchenette was very well & thoughtfully stocked with all required appliances & all in pristine condition. Good sized room with adequate space in suite providing dood sized sofa cum bed, dining table modern lighting. All the above is in the deluxe room, no experience regarding other room types Staff was very friendly.

Garbage bins for the whole property were outside our room. Heated towel rail in one of the rooms wasn't working One of the room doors could only be locked /unlocked from outside with a key as such could not lock the door from inside after entering in. No bidet in toilets. Blinds in the living area were transparent therefore privacy was not possible. No clothes hooks in bathrooms.

For beachgoers, this is an ideal location as it is right by the beach. It's also the next street from food places/central part of town. Plus attractions like The Lost Spring is nearby. The one-bedroom apartment unit we had was well-cleaned, stocked with basic amenities (plenty of coffee, hot choc & tea sachets!). 2 powerful fans to keep cool. For a stay-in day, a smart tv is available, allowing access to Netflix for subscribers, even Youtube and other channels.

Nice friendly atmosphere, everything in town is walking distance.

Great location, pool was awesome for the kids. Very clean and tidy. Pots and pans were available in our room. Loved the complex.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of, was the very loud sheets!

It was right by the beach and a 5 min walk to town centre and it had a pool and play area , including a tennis court for the kids to play.

Everything was great

The location is fantastic - so close to the beach and very close to town. We walked to town every day.

One drawback was that there was no air conditioning. Whitianga gets extremely hot and it would have been better to have aircon in the units.
