Reviewed Aug 31, 2026la posizione dell'hotel è fantastica data la vicinanza della gare de lyon e stazione metro. anche se il quartiere non è centrale è comodo per raggiungere tutte le mete di interesse con metropolitana o altri mezzi pubblici. Ottima la presenza alla reception di personale h 24 e il fatto che si lasci sempre la chiave della stanza a loro. Gradito che ci abbiano consentito di lasciare i bagagli anche dopo il check out
l'altezza a cui è posizionato il doccino per lavarsi è bassa, si fa un po' di fatica.

Struttura datata, avrebbe bisogno di manutenzione. Il bagno è piccolissimo. Avendo clientela internazionale, sarebbe bene se il personale parlasse un buon inglese.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Fantastische locatie en voor ons een prima hotel. Zeer basic, maar schoon en dat is wat wij willen. De bedden zijn hard, maar dat vinden wij juist prettig. Het hotel ligt dichtbij de metro, waar je zo overal naar toe kunt in Parijs. En ligt 10 minuten lopend van Gare de Lyon. Het was tijdens ons verblijf ontzettend rustig in de buurt. Vanwege de vakantieperiode van Parijzenaars, maar ook doordat auto's in dit gebied geweerd worden. Je ziet vooral veel fietsers. Heerlijk om Parijs zo te ervaren. Er zijn diverse restaurantjes/bars in de buurt.
Wat ontzettend stoort is het feit dat personeel van het hotel en sommige gasten buiten op het trottoir roken en dat dan al die rook via je raam naar binnen komt. Het zou verboden moeten worden. Af en toe is er een vislucht of kooklucht. Maar dat is minder erg dan de sigarettenrook. De badkamer is erg klein en oud. Maar schoon en dat is wat ons betreft het belangrijkste.

The room and the bathroom were so small that it made it uncomfortable even for a two-person stay. Also, the hotel doesn't have A/C, and although they provided a small fan, it wasn't enough to cool the room.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Auch nach elf Jahren war es wieder ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in dem schönen feinen, kleinen schlichten Hotel. Kein Luxus, dafür, aber sehr authentisch und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem zentral und gut angebunden. Die Bäckerei und der Brunnen vor der Tür laden zum verweilen zwischendurch ein. Jederzeit wieder, wenn es nach Paris geht!

It was so hot and the little fan they had in the room didn’t rotate so we were quite hot throughout our time there. Having no AC really does matter after several full days of adventuring and trekking around only to come back to your resting place and sweat more.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Ein kleines Hotel, das wirklich darauf achtet, die Umwelt zu schonen. Das Frühstück für 10 Euro ist sehr lecker und mit möglichst lokalen Produkten. Die Zimmer sind genug gross für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt. In der Nacht ist die Strasse ziemlich ruhig.
Die Badezimmer sind sehr klein. Mit längeren Beinen kann man die Türe nicht mehr schliessen, wenn man auf der Toilette sitzt. Die Betten sind zu kurz für Personen, die grösser als 1.70m gross sind. Meine Füsse hingen raus, was zwar nicht schlimm war, aber auch nicht ideal.

Franchement j’ai vu des auberges de jeunesse bien plus propres Pas de drap fin sur le lit Et quand on demande s’il y a à disposition un distributeur d’eau fraiche pour remplir sa gourde (en plein week-end de canicule) on nous répond prennez l’eau au dans le lavabo de la salle de bain

Oltre al caldo eccessivo, c’è un episodio che mi ha lasciato molto perplesso. Intorno a mezzanotte, un membro del personale si è presentato alla porta della mia camera sostenendo di dover consegnare un servizio in camera che non avevo richiesto. Non avendo ricevuto alcuna risposta dopo aver bussato, ha addirittura tentato di aprire la porta con la chiave. È stato un episodio che mi ha fatto sentire poco sicuro e che ritengo inaccettabile per una struttura ricettiva.

I had the €5 mini breakfast which was a bit basic, but all I really needed. Paris was experiencing a heatwave when I visited and non-air conditioned room was very hot.

Había Ola de calor pero teníamos dos ventiladores en la habitación que nos permitieron sobrellevar la situación. Me gusto toda la información que enviaron desde el Hotel antes del check in.
El desayuno es muy básico no vale la pena, mejor ir a una buena panadería.

I didn’t like being charge extra for the orange juice at the breakfast. You would expect a fruit juice in a 10 Euro continental breakfast. So if the orange juice wasn’t included in the breakfast, then it shouldn’t have been placed in the middle of the breakfast things. It’s the only thing that went wrong in the holiday to France.

Es gibt einen Raum im Erdgeschoss, ausgestattet mit Büchern, einladenden Sitzgelegenheiten, der Möglichkeit, sich einen Tee, Kakao, Kaffee zuzubereiten & ein bisschen zu schmökern oder sich einfach zu unterhalten - der zudem aufs Wesentliche konzentriert& geschmackvoll mit Bildern/Plakaten (mit Parisbezug/Doisneau) ausgestattet ist ... Sehr gut gefällt mir auch die umweltfreundliche Grundhaltung ... die sich in vielen Details zeigt - ein kleiner Reminder auch zu mehr Augenmerk zuhause.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026The location is great for an overnight stay, if you have a morning train from Gare de Lyon, but it's also in a lovely square with a nice variety of restaurants and bars.
Slightly uncomfortable pillows and bedding. The online check-in was somewhat arduous.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Situation idéale, proche de la gare de Lyon. Boulangerie et quelques restaurants à côté de l'hôtel. Hotel à la décoration originale et gaie, se démarque des chaînes d'hôtels. Hotel employant des personnes en réinsertion sociale et professionnelle, accueil sympathique et menant une politique éco-responsable. Bon petit déjeuner bio.
La salle de bain est un peu (trop) petite, il conviendrait de mettre des serviettes plus grandes.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The hotel's location is perfect, with the metro and convenience store for snacks and water, as well as a bakery and restaurants, all within very short walking distance. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide selection. Very friendly staff.
