Grand Hyatt Shenyang

The staff make me feel warm.

Location is great.

The bathroom is bit too dark for makeup.

Location is great, many shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast and bar really good. Rooms spacious and clean.

Wifi was really poor. Connection always getting disconnected. A little disturbing to have to change elevators to get to ground floor from rooms

Spectacular hotel and insane value. Great gym, connected to the mall. Great local bbq 2 blocks away, fantastic art. Very kind and professional staff!

The Wi-Fi connection at the hotel was terrible. I was not able to connect to an important international meeting and was forced to go to another hotel to use their business center. Although the room was supposed to be non-smoking, the hallway stunk of cigarette smoke.

Greeted by friendly staff. The room was big and nice view of Shenyang city. Varieties of choice for breakfast section. Receptionist at the entrance was fantastic. They are very helpful in handling/receiving the deliveries from taobao shop.

Stayed in the suite room for 8 days in April'25. Excellent service from entering the hotel, breakfast with lots of options from Chinese breakfast to Western breakfast, etc best I have experienced with Grand Hyatt cross the globe. The spa and swimming pool are clean and nice as well

Hotel soweit ok, leider etwas dunkel gestaltet

Room was excellent, with big bathroom (bath and shower) and stunning view. It was clean every day. Breakfast offer western and Chinese meals and variety of fruit. The staff was always helpful and I have nothing to complain. I really recommend stay there.

Love this hotel. Location is very convenient, It connects with Mix City shopping mall. The breakfast was amazing. Service team tries always their best to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I have only one problem is the air conditioner is not cool in my room.

Truly and deeply grateful for Sibyl, Ashley and Tracy at Hyatt for going above and beyond, they anticipated our needs and did an amazing job making us feel like home away from home, the staff is friendly and kind and made our stay feel really special, were grateful and love Hyatt

Nice and clean. Located at shopping center. The only problem is the water for bath tub had black impurity. So i cannt use tub.

This is a great hotel with a good location (5 mins walk to metro station), and connected/next to a few malls (one very fancy, the others with good restaurant options). Elite treatment is very good at this hotel and i very much enjoyed my stay.

very good service, got phone call before I arrived at the hotel, and prepared gifts and kits for kids.

Apart from the aircon in the room and some floor hallway wern't cool. It's extremely recommended to stay here. Location is very convenient, being linked to high-end mall, metro station is just a step away. Very easy to travel around the city. Though some staff wasn't fluent at English but they are all willing to help. Special thanks to these3 Knolan,Christine and Kathy. Especially Knolan, he can remember my name and room number only at first time he assisted me. Amazingly address me by my name everytime.

The Staff is super nice and helpful. The pool, location, breakfast buffet is unbeatable. Had a great staying. Thank you everyone. ❤️

Shenyang Grand Hyatt is the best! It connects with Mix City shopping mall, we can enter the mall inside the building! The location is great, easy to get a taxi and near subway station. The service of the front desk and entrance are excellent

Great hotel good location

The room is comfortable and m9dern, with attention to detail. Also well maintained. The location is quite good, adjacent to a commercial centre with shops, supermarket and a lot of options for dining and entertainment, and also facing Youth Park for some down time or morning jogging. A short ride to Mukden Palace ( or a 30-40 minutes walk) and the cultural sites around it.

The time it takes to reach the room from ground, as it requires to go through the lobby on the 25th floor and then change into another elevator to go down(most probably) to the rooms. However the view from the lobby is spectacular.

The staff was very helpful in all my requests. They provide a suite of daily necessities so you don’t need to bring your own - such as, iron, steamer, dental kit, nail clipper etc. all you had to do is ask the guest service. Their layout is slightly odd where you had to go to the higher floors to reach lobby and there was a lot of up and down rides, however, I can see the structure was aimed to be secure as this hotel does have other services (spa, temporary Prada store) available to the public. A special shout out to Nick, Jacob and Jennifer in the reception for their professionalism and customer service!

excellent front desk service, very convenient location, large and well equipped room, and nice pool. breakfast is absolutely fantastic! would highly recommend! the restaurant Xin Feng Tian serves very impressive northern Chinese cuisine.

This hotel’s location is fantastic, tons of restaurants and shops nearby. What differentiates is the services from the staff. The crew makes sure that guests always get the best experiences. Especially Zoey, Zoe, Jessica, and Kevin, who helped me various times during my visit. They made this hotel special.

Nice stay

We booked our wedding here as well as 2 nights of wedding suite, and booked many rooms for our friends. Focusing on the hotel side, the overall experience is fabulous, especially compared to most of our experience in US. location - One of the best location in Shenyang next to a high end shopping mall. Parking can be difficult on weekends but that's same for any poplular place. service - Both wedding event staffs and hotel staffs are very responsive and helpful. They satisfy all our needs like water and equipments and else, very quickly. breakfast - great, both for variety and for the taste. value - It's great value if compared to a US hotel. room - The room is not in the very modern style, but still clean and have most stuff working. 2 issue we noticed for our wedding suite: cold in our bedroom since there're too many windows, but glad they proactively sent a heater. The room lose power on our 2nd night, but they sent a person to quickly fix it. I'd love to stay here again in the future and recommend it to my friends when they visit Shenyang.

im really impressed about the nice service of the hotel staff, which makes me comfortable just like home. this is my first time come to shenyang with my family member, and the hotel staff kindly helped us with local information, which helped me save a lot of time. i think i will come back to this city again.

My stay at the Hyatt Grand was, sadly, more disappointing than pleasing. Good things first - our suite was clean and well-laid out. But things went south with the inadequate air conditioning. During our stay, Shen Yang was boiling at 110 degrees. We tried closing the curtain all afternoon, didn't work. Asked the front desk for a room change, they refused. Their solution? A fan, and not even a cooling one, which didn't help us at all. We were literally sweating in our room, even more so after a light exercise from the pool. The front desk blamed it on our room's exposure to the sun, which i agreed, but our nighttime ordeal didn't change. They sent a tecniation and testedair condition wind temperature is normal, but our room was stuck at 78 degrees. The tecnation seemed aware of this problem. He insist to show the aircondtion tempeture only, and try to avoid showing room tmepture, which is more important data to tenant. I reckon their air conditioning simply lacks the horsepower for that particular room. We woke up several times in the night, sweating, and had to sleep without any covers or blankets. After a long day fighting heat, I gave up and booked a premium suite, with four times higher cash price than the standard suite price. Luckly enoguh, i had enough Hyatt points to book insetad. Here, at least the air conditioning was right. But there were zero welcome fruits or proper drinking cups, only small tea cups. Also, the ice machine was broken. The view from the bedroom was of an unfinished skyscraper right in front of us, forcing us to keep our curtains closed. On the day of my departure, my flight was at 5 pm so I requested a 3 pm checkout. However, I was told to check out at 12 pm and the best they could do was to extend it to 2 pm, which was my original right as an Explorist. They didn't even bother checking the room information before giving a generic response. After these two days of suite vacation at the Hyatt Grand, I am left more frustrated than satisfied. I hope future guests don't have to endure the same issues.

This is one of the worst 4- or 5- star hotel I ever stayed. The room temperature was 28 degreeC or 82 degreeF in April. When I complained to the customer service, they told us the central air conditioner was set that way and cannot be changed. I can’t believe a hotel let guests live in 28 C rooms and do nothing to improve the condition. Multiple customers complained the room temperature. You are not coming to an 5-star hotel but a sauna room.

The hotel is gorgeous, centrally located, quiet, clean, and has perhaps the best breakfast buffet I've ever tasted. The selection and, above all, the quality were incredible. Highly recommended. My only complaint is the double elevator system - every time you go to your room or leave the hotel, you have to access the lobby level (somewhere on the 24th floor) before transferring to another elevator to either go to your room or to floor level. Not a big deal. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shenyang.

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. From check-in to check-out we had a great experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast buffets were amazing. There were 2 hot tubs in the pool area. Often hot tubs are just in the locker rooms at hotels in China. The view from the lounge allows you to see a large park and a lot of the city. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hyatt, the name say it all :)

It was a great short stay. The picture window was the biggest surprise, the view too. Very nice in-room dining, food arrived on time and hot. Wish I could stay longer in the city so that I could write more about the club. I did went up to the club floor at the wrong time so no service was performed, but the decoration and the view looked nice. Parking was a little trouble some. The parking lot right in front of the entrance offers only limited parking space, most guests are directed to the underground parking garage. It was not a distant drive, but it does take some more time to park near the hotel elevators, as opposed to parking on-ground. Another thing is you can’t go directly from the garage to the lobby. A transfer is required on the ground floor. The lobby is on one of the highest floors, which is pretty common for Grand Hyatt. Not a bad idea to share the best view with every guest.

training of staff and housekeeping is not sufficient to provide the service standard of Grand Hyatt but the location and facilities are excellent

Everything about this luxury resort is worthy of 5-stars. It’s the best hotel to stay in and it’s literally attached to a massive mall. It had been more than what I’ve ever expected a hotel to be. Right away, I noticed how my room look ultra modern in design. Thank you to all the friendly staff for making my stay worth while. Even on the day of my arrival to Shenyang — I’ve had a warm welcoming. I highly recommend staying at Grand Hyatt.

Great location and excellent facilities. Kids love the pool!

Grand Hyatts in Asia are always a smart choice - the Grand Hyatt Shenyang is a beautiful hotel with an attentive, friendly staff that are almost always able to speak English.

Gute Lage und alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet.

The rooms were great. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great

Excellent hotel but could of been more helpful regarding tourist information

It was an amazing stay

Nice location. The restaurant closes quite early in the evening. I checked in the hotel at 22:00 and the restaurant was already closed.

Great location! Spacious room

Great Breakfast buffet. Bathroom in room had previous guest hair on bathroom floor near toilet and near sink.

Its Just Ok, I've had much better at less expensive hotels in shenyang china.

The hotel location is amazing! It's just linked with MixC Shopping Mall. The hotel room is big and nice just I don't like is the lighting, a bit dim.

Certainly the best hotel in the city centre and adjoins the Mix C Shopping centre with all the European Designer Fashion retail outlets to be found with a large extensive range. The breakfast buffet at the Hyatt on level 26 certainly caters for all with the wide range of food, pastries and juice bar with a fantastic view of the city and parklands. The Grand Hyatt at this location is certainly very good value for money with great views in all directions

Very good value for money

This was our second trip to Shenyang and we were very pleased with the Grand Hyatt. Our room was very satisfactory with just one quirk: the en-suite toilet "room" was across from the rest of the bathroom rather than being part of it. Other than that - the room was comfortable and our view of the city spectacular. We had guests at the lunch buffet twice and we all agreed the food was excellent with many, many choices. The hotel's location is very convenient - we will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

For some reason, vehicles (shuttle bus, taxi) never dropped us directly in the front of the hotel. We had to drag our luggage across a busy multi-lane road.

The room was so beautiful ,looking out over the China Sea The Concierge was wonderful, helping us find a perfect restaurant for dinner and even drove us to it!!!

Arrived at this hotel late, after a cancelled flight. They looked after me very well. Perfect.

Enjoyable - clean, good service, good food. Lunch buffet was good value

was told to the front desk that our flight was cancelled in Beijing and will not be turning up on the 1st night. A one night penalty fee will be charged. That's fine, until we checked in the next day, we were told that that have given my King size room out and I only have a 2 single bed room. No matter how much I request but the answer was still no more room. Unfriendly and un compromise. The room given was small. If your flights are cancelled, your next night's room will not be the same as the one you book for.

Awesome! Will stay again!

Hyatt has its reputation, no complaints at all during my stay.
