Beausite Hotel vs Similar Hotels

Rooms often described as comfortable and quiet with good beds, but several comments about being too hot (no AC/windows only crack), dated decor and need for updates (hooks, extra chairs, smart TVs/USB).

My room was spacious and well-equipped with required amenities.

Mostly acceptable in many reviews but one strong comment about an unhygienic carpet and some dated fittings; lowered to reflect that notable negative mention.

The hotel was very clean with well-furnished areas.

Frequently described as perfect, peaceful, convenient for attractions and with good transport links; clearly a strong positive for many guests.

Nice location near the harbour and very close to the beach.

Consistently praised across reviews (friendly, welcoming staff; individual mentions of exceptional service from staff like Jake and helpful recommendations).

The staff were fantastic, always happy and genuinely friendly.

Breakfasts frequently praised as excellent and freshly prepared; restaurant and dinners often positive though one or two mentions of a mediocre Sunday roast.

Breakfasts were good, but some items were stale.

Good on positives like pool, garden and gym; however multiple complaints about lack of air-conditioning, limited parking space and missing modern conveniences lower this score.

The hotel offered many useful amenities, including dining areas and free parking.

Several reviewers explicitly call it very good value; pleasant facilities and family-friendly features support a strong value score despite some shortcomings.

Exceptional value for the facilities and services provided.
