Gorman's B&B

Jim’s advice as to where to eat; what areas to explore, and the best drives in the region really added to our enjoyment. A nice variety of breakfast meals and his accommodation of my gluten allergy was much appreciated.

Lovely hospitality

Best Porridge I‘ve ever tasted! Of course, the Irish Breakfast was very good as well.

Jim gave us lots of information about what to see. He is very personable. Breakfast was very good. Loved the sausages and good hot tea. Beds were comfortable. Room was very clean. Towels were somewhat tired. TV is very small but we didn’t watch it so no problem.

Loved staying at Gormans! The owner was so helpful with advice on the happenings nearby and what road to take. Would highly recommend!

The host was very welcoming. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The property is very well located.

The owner, Jim, is lovely and breakfast was good and plentiful. The rooms are basic, but the location near Killarney and the Ring of Kerry is great.

The host Jim is very welcoming, friendly and gave us informations how to get around Killarney. He’s so passionate what his doing at his age. Cooked us good breakfast

Jim and his family were incredibly lovely! During our visit to Killarney, my boyfriend and I stayed with them and received such warm welcomes. One morning, we had to leave very early for a hike, and although it was too early for breakfast, Jim thoughtfully left food out for us. Thank you, Jim and family, for such a wonderful experience in Killarney! Highly recommended :)

Jim, innkeeper, is a great cook, provides good travel info, and is friendly/outgoing. Nice setting in the country but reas8nably close to killarney. We woukd return.

The nicest thing about Gorman’s was Jim. Great host, served up really good breakfasts and tells you everything you need to know the area or even beyond your travel plans. He’s a real gem. Has a great sense of humor too. Otherwise, accommodations are average. Rooms are a bit small. There were two of us. Putting the twin beds together to make a king was a challenge. It was cramped to say the least.

Highly recommend! Host was super sweet. Cute place close to Killarney. Host helped us access a quickly laundry service and made us the best breakfasts!

Really enjoyed our stay.Jim cooks a great breakfast. Jim took time to help us plan our two days In Kerry. Highly recommend.

Siamo stati veramente bene

Great comfortable stay with a host ready to give great tips to us, the tourists new to the area.

Jim was friendly and gave us very good advice re our excursions. Breakfast menu had several choices. Beds were comfortable. Lots of parking on the property. Convenient location to Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula, as well as Killarney National Park. No one was there when we arrived during check-in hours, so we had to wait 15 minutes. The room and bathroom were very small and the shower was weak. WiFi had been upgraded and worked well.

The host and hostess were remarkably warm, welcoming and so very helpful. Our trip to Ireland would not have been the same without this stay. It’s a must if you’re in the area.

Excellent facility & service; highly solicitous proprietor; wi-fi present but rather feeble in the rooms.

we had a problem with our trip due to a cancelled flight and the folks were so nice and accommodating. quick with a joke, clean and homey, would highly recommend staying here.

After driving down from galway and spending the morning in killarney we went to the property to check in. We had booked to stay in a room with a double bed. We were shown to our room to discover two single beds pushed together with what looked like the grand canyon between them and told he had no more double beds despite no one else having checked into the property by this stage. He showed us around the room and dining room before asking to see our covid certs. Having not being fully vaccinated by that time he informed us we would not be allowed to stay and had this confirmed by his wife shouting through the bedroom door. Nowhere on the properties website did it state we had to be fully vaccinated to stay nor did we recieve a phone call or email informing us of this fact which would have been a courtesy. Having been the friday of the august bank holiday it left little option of finding alternative accommodation in killarney or indeed kenmare, tralee and dingle. With little option we decided to spend the weekend in limerick having left killarney extremely disappointed. I would wholeheartedly not recommended this property to anyone.

Jim and Myra are excellent hosts and offered helpful touring suggestions. Freshly cut roses in our room were a welcoming touch.

Thank you very much for your help. It was a pleasure to meet you rgds Ute + Nikon

Lovely host and hostess and a very comfortable room. Jim and Moira certainly know the area and the local weather. Take their advice. Really good breakfasts. Super view from our window. Well placed for the Dingle peninsula, the Ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula. A great base for this part of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Great choice for a homey stay. Jim and Moira sent us off each morning with a hot breakfast and a plan for the day.

Jim is a wonderful, very friendly host. The place is clean and quiet. Jim's breakfasts were excellent. I am very pleased that I chose this place for my Killarney stay.

Lovely small B & B Rooms with own bathroom Breakfast according to our wishes The owner Marey and especially Jim had a lot of good recommendations for tours and trips Only the location is estimated 5 km away from downtown and there is no restaurant or pub in walking distance

Very friendly staff. Good food. Gave us good direction to the city. Very helpful.

Gorman's is a great B&B--the room was clean and comfortable, the host was exceptionally and genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was great.

Very welcoming, helpful host Jim was excellent. Very comfortable stay outside of very crowded Killarney! A real home from home. Thank you!

Jim and Moira were great. Breakfast was good and they offered plenty of information on the area. Internet was a little slow at times but other than that our stay was great!

Jim couldn't have been more welcoming. And the breakfasts were to die for!! A lovely b and b . Can't wait to go back!

Great couple who run the B&B room small and ensuite tight but overall very good

Love this b&b breakfast were awesome owner gave great types on the area. Room was comfortable would certainly go back !!

Gute Besserung!

Jim and his wife Mira were wonderful very helpful with directions and best restaurants in town also new the best sites to see

Excellent friendly host serving an excellent choice of breakfast varying to a simple continental breakfast to a full Irish breakfast. Jim offers advice on where to eat and what to see. Jim met us with coffee and snacks upon checking in. Main drawback was the weak wifi, 1Mbps

Jim and Moira are so great hosts, very welcoming and will do everything to help you and make you feel home. The place is very calm and the view on the Killarney mountains is very nice. The room est very clean and everything is there, perfect. The breakfast is really really big and very good! We enjoyed our stay very much and hope we will come back.

very nice people who help wherever they can give you vey helpful advince on travel plans calm and idyllic location I would immediately book this bed and breakfast place again

Great hosts, generous breakfast, a little out of town but quiet surrounds

We were dropped off by taxi.We arrived there before 3pm.There was a note on the door to say they would be be away until 4:30..we were left waiting for 1.5 hours sitting on two chairs outside the house beside a very busy road.We were lucky it was not raining. With this treatment of guests in a fully booked b&B,I could not understand how a person was not available to let guests into the house.I would not recommend this b&B.

It was a great time at Gorman's House! Everything was perfect. Special thanks to the owner of the House Jim and Moira for taking care of us so nicely and courteous every time!

Great location, host had a lot of good recommenda to on on food and entertainment. Breakfast was great.

We had a very good stay by the Gormans those two days and Jim and Moira were very helpful with planning our stay in Killarney.

A delightful little B&B run by the warm and wonderful Jim and Moira, who cooked us delicious breakfasts each morning, helped us plan our itinerary each day to explore the beautiful sites and countryside, gave excellent recommendations on where to eat and drink (e.g. The Grand pub for great live traditional music and Mac's for delicious desserts) and even gave us a lift into town a couple of times. Thank you both for a wonderful weekend. We love Killarney!

Jim was a fun and informative host and helped us with our travel planning in the area.

Jim and Myora were wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jim's guidance to local and regional attractions was invaluable to the success of our enjoyment of the area.

Enjoyed our stay. Owners friendly and hehpful finding area attractions.
