Mytra Hotel

The hotel was in the old town, and beautifully located. It was our first time in Istanbul and it really ease up our trip. The area was peaceful at night and full of things to do around. The room had a sea view, and the buffet breakfast was real nice. The staff was really helpful and friendly at the reception, but mostly the lady in charge of the breakfast was very attentive to our needs. I would recommend this place if you want to be able to visit the beauties of Istanbul but also find some relax and peaceful time for yourself.

Per la colazione c'erano pochi dolci e per riprendere il caffe devi andare al piani terra. Il bagno e la camera erano un po bui.

Är väldigt nöjd med min vistelse. Boendet var rent och bekvämt, frukosten var god och allt jag behövde fanns på plats. Jag kände mig välkommen och hade en mycket trevlig vistelse.

Jag har inget särskilt negativt att säga. Allt fungerade bra och jag är nöjd.

Отлично местоположение,стаята имаше чудесен изглед, персонала беше изключително любезен,закуската беше отлична.

Нямаше комарници и влизаха мухи в стаята,също не ми допадна,че пердетата не бяха напълно прозрачни,а на цветенца и скриваха невероятната гледка към Босфора.

Posizione perfetta, personale accogliente e gentile

The staff was very polite. They helped us when we needed any help. The hotel is small but very cozy, clean and has a great terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, where they also served us breakfast. The location is within easy reach of the promenade and the central part with all the restaurants and attractions. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Our stay at this wonderful little hotel in Sultanahmet was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single detail exceeded our expectations. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and so many great cafés and restaurants. It made exploring Istanbul incredibly easy while still offering a peaceful place to relax. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations, directions, or anything we needed. They made us feel more like guests in their home than customers in a hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Kiváló hely,személyzet, autóval mentünk kamerával figyelt parkoló minden a közelben,szuper reggeli a felső teraszon tengeri panorámával segítőkész emberekkel ne hagyjátok ki az esti hajókirándulást a Boszporusz mentén transzferrel!írhatnék még sok jót a helyről!Mi zseniálisan éreztük magunkat remélem még visszatérünk nem is keresnék más helyet!Köszönünk mindent!!😀

It was clean and perfect location.

Perhaps the size of the room, it was very small, but I guess I got what I paid for.

Nagyon jó helyen van, minden közelben. Szép kilátás a Márvány - tengerre. Kedves személyzet🙂 Finom reggel. Nagyon kényelmes matrac, kellemes ágynemű. Legközelebb is itt szállnék meg.

Szuper helyen, szinte mindenhez közel. 10 percen belüli sétatávra a legtöbb látnivalótól (Kék mecset, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi palota, Gülhane park), a többihez jó közlekedés (busz és villamos pár percre). Az első napokban csak gyalog mentünk mindenhova. A reggeli nem különösebben volt rendkívüli, de rendben volt és svédasztalról bőven elégséges választék volt, és emellett szép kilátás nyílt az Aranyszarv-öbölre a tetőteraszról, ahova fel lehetett kérni az összeválogatott reggelinket!!! Nyilván minden reggel ott ettünk :) A személyzet NAGYON kedves és segítőkész volt, de tényleg mindenben: programok ajánlása és segítség a szervezésben, elmagyarázták a tömegközlekedés használatát (amibe a komp is beletartozik az Ázsiai oldalra!) és még egy IstambulCard-ot is kölcsönöztek amit csak fel kellett töltenünk.

Négyen utaztunk így két szobában laktunk, sajnos csak egy tengerre nézőt kaptunk mert nem volt éppen több szabad, ez egészen tágas is volt. A másik olcsóbbik az utcára nézett és szűkösebb volt, de azért elég volt így is. Az utca felől nyitott ablaknál éjjel és hajnalban időnként felébredtünk a zajra, szerencsére volt légkondi úgyhogy ilyenkor becsuktuk és tudtunk aludni.

We chose this place mainly for its location and the breakfast on the terrace with the beautiful view. However, the terrace was under renovation when we stayed there. So, as a compensation, the manager arranged another terrace with a view on the Hagia Sofia and the Bosphorus. That was cool

Small and cozy, this hotel is fantastic! Small building, with not many rooms. It seems to be a family business, which adds a lot of value to the place. The building is old and has a beautiful location. Terrace with views to Hagia Sofia and the Blue mosque. We booked a room with sea view, just incredible sunsets! Great location in Fatih, very close to the blue mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace. Basically ideal place to stay. And much cheaper than other places we saw around. The neighborhood is very touristic and safe. The staff help you book activities if you want. The terrace is open for guests to enjoy as they want, you can even take food there. It was closed for renovations for a few days while we were there, but the staff gave us a discount for a terrace restaurant nearby. overall, very helpful people. I highly recommend it!

Le uniche cose che mi sono piaciute sono lo staff (per loro il voto è 10 perché sono sempre stati gentilissimi e disponibili!). Un 10 se lo merita anche la posizione, perché alla fine è vicinissimo a tutto! Pulizia più che accettabile, devo dire che in Turchia ho riscontrato molta più pulizia che nella maggior parte delle città italiane! La colazione forse un po’ da migliorare ma alla fine è stata accettabile! Peccato che in terrazza si è potuti andare solo 3 giorni su 5! Era la parte più bella di tutto l’hotel!

Ho dato 3 ma il voto realistico sarebbe stato 0 a chi si occupa di sponsorizzare su Booking questo albergo! Le camere sono completamente diverse da come appaiono in foto e questo è davvero molto scorretto! Anche perché non è che ce l’hanno regalata! Anzi la abbiamo pagata e pure abbastanza! Quando siamo arrivati ci hanno assegnato una camera minuscola, angusta e claustrofobica, sembrava più una piccola singola che una matrimoniale! Infatti aveva un solo comodino e soltanto 3 grucce nell’armadio! Per fortuna lo staff della reception ci ha subito aiutati, concedendoci (pagando 100 euro) di trascorrere 4 notti su 5 in una stanza migliore, e quella si che era vivibile in 2! Anche se comunque molto differente da come appare in foto! Avrei potuto accettare una camera più piccola ma quella sarebbe stata troppo piccola anche per una singola persona! Inoltre era davvero mal tenuta, abbastanza pulita ma troppo vecchia, luci mal funzionanti, ruggine in bagno!

La ubicación es la mejor, el desayuno delicioso y variado y la terraza espectacular. Pero creo que lo mejor de todo fue el servicio ofrecido por César y sus hermanos. Gracias a sus sugerencias y gestiones, pudimos visitar y disfrutar de las maravillas ofrecidas por la ciudad.

Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Hotel liegt in einer Top-Lage. Perfekt für Leute, die die wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten auf der europäischen Seiten erkunden wollen.

Staff service was remarkable and very kind! It was very clean also! The rooftop terrace is incredible!

The terrace door was not closing easily and also the vie was partial sea view (nice overall but partial).

No AC, they told us it was being fixed to open the windows, the room was hot even with open windows the noise outside kept us up all night. It was horrible.

Las personas que llevan el hotel son muy atentas. También nos gustó el desayuno que preparan. La ubicación es fantástica, a 5 minutos de la Plaza de Sultanahmet. La terraza tiene unas vistas estupendas.

La habitación es bastante pequeña. Más pequeña de la impresión que da en las fotos. El hotel en general necesita una puesta al día de sus instalaciones.

wspaniała lokalizacja wszystkie zabytki (prawie) pod ręką. Bardzo miła obsługa lecz nienarzucająca się. Pokoje wygodne i sprzątane codziennie. Wspaniałe towarzystwo kotów ( za oknem). Byliśmy zadowoleni. Śniadania smaczne i do wyboru. Jest winda !!! Uliczka cicha i spokojna.

Приехали в конце марта 2026 года. У отеля отличное расположение. В 5-7 минутах пешком основные достопримечательности: голубая мечеть, цистерна базилика, Айя София, дворец Топканы и др. В 5 минутах остановка трамвая. Рядом улочки с такими же отелями и кафе. Номер был трехместный с частичным видом на Босфор. Босфор действительно видно. Но и видно тарец дома рядом. Не самый эстетичный. С верхних этажей конечно вид лучше. Есть терасса на крыше с отличным видом. Очень дружелюбный персонал. Хорошая уборка. Полотенца меняли ежедневно. В номере есть тапочки и бутылочки шампуня. Завтрак в целом не плохой. Понравилось что много фруктов. В марте включали отопление. На улице было 9-15 гр. В номере было тепло, комфортно.

Номер для трех человек ввпритык. Не хватало мебели: второго стула, шкафа чуть побольше (1/5 шкафа занимал сейф и минибар)

Breakfasts were quite rich although I can imagine some guests calling them monotonous. The room was nicely heated, which combined with really cold weather outside made it a perfect place to return.

The price quoted for transfers to and from the airport was really high. The price on Booking was half of the amount.

The property is a small boutique hotel in the very heart of historic center of Istanbul (European side), and nearby every point of touristic interest, as well as transportation to everywhere, including the Asian side. It is located on a quiet small street and it has a parking spots, which a great feature, considering the area. The room was a little bit smaller than the photos, but the view compensates. Since we came winter time, it was great that the heating was working perfectly and the hot water, as well. There was also very delicious breakfast. The staff was very kind and speaking very good English. Would recommend.

Много мил и грижовен персонал.

Леглата не са най удобните .В банята душ кабината беше малка и тоалетната е монтирана срещу душ кабината трябва да застанеш настрани за да я ползваш. И от вратата на терасата духаше през цалото време а беше студено на вън. И терасатъ е силно казано тераса .Гледката я разваляше една стара порутена постройка определено за тези пари не си заслужаваше.

The location is only a few minutes walk from Agia Sofia…. the sea view rooms are especially beautiful and the location is ideal for reaching most attractions the city has to offer.
