The location was good. Ability to store suitcases.

The bed broke multiple times - the first time I sat on it to put shoes on the slats collapsed underneath. Happened five times while there and each time I had to fix myself. Also the air-conditioning units for the building are just outside the window. It was so loud from everyone running their aircons we all got no (I actually mean none) sleep for three nights. The bed needs fixing and maybe a roller shutter installed to block out the noise.

Great location! Check in was easy and communication with the staff was excellent.

The AC didn’t work well and the building was a bit noisy, but it was generally okay.

Muito bem localizado. Apesar de ser muito central, é sossegado. A cozinha dá muito jeito, especialmente se forem vários dias. Os funcionários foram prestáveis e guardaram as malas para podermos passear antes do check in. Deram-nos recomendações incríveis de restaurantes!!

Teria sido bom podermos usar o elevador, especialmente quando subimos ou descemos com as malas.

Great position to everthing. Host was very helpfull. It is a 20min walk from the train station but an easy walk.

Perfect location centrally in beautiful Bologna on my 3rd visit to the city. Big studio apartment looking good enough on the photos and upon arrival. Washing machine seemed new and tempting but after after flaws stated in the other part of my review I decided not to use it. Bed large, clean linen and comfort ok. Everything clean. I travel a lot, almost always find the descriptions of the residences on Booking.com helpful and I like to leave an honest review for other upcoming guests and do so immediately after I leave the accomodation. This time it took me 13 weeks before I decided to leave yet another review but I think I have to.

Not too clear instructions for people arriving after the limited opening hours of the reception of this residence located in another house. A helpful co-guest, a young woman, aggreged on that and helped me out based on her own experience. Coming into a huge empty ground floor I saw the lift to the 1st floor by the side of a 30 step staircase via rather steep and dark corridor. 1st floor was where my flat was. But the lift was only for permanent residents, not for guests. The guy on the "help" phone for arrivals after hours (in my case at 22-22:30 hrs which was my known arrival time) only told me that the description of the flat didn't mentioned a lift. But it was there! I have to admit the guy didn't say: Serves you right, after I told him I was temporarily handicapped and using a crutch. Told me to check with the reception the day after. "For a solution?" I asked hopefully. No reply. The helpful young co-guest was ready to take my luggage upstairs, but then she found out how to obtain a key to the lift and we used it this time. No light on 1st floor corridor, very dim at nights, thank god for the torch on my phone. Other guests just laughed and told me to ,,try getting that fixed". Severe (water)leak in the bathroom of my flat. I had a very busy and tight schedule my entire stay and never even tried to find the "reception after the negative first impression. Left after 3 days out of 4 when I finally got some accommodation with truly helpful staff on my own and at my own expense. It was worth it.

The location is unbeatable, in the heart of Bologna which makes it super easy to discover everything on foot. The check-in and checkout was super easy and fast. The apartments are spacious and practical.

The sofa is very small and not very comfortable - as we were 7 people in total (in 2 apartments), it would have been nice to have a larger area to spend time together.

The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, the room was comfortable and clean, and everything was of a very high standard. I had a great stay and would happily come back.

Nice self contained apartment. Not too far to shopping areas. Love having a washing machine. Staff lovely and friendly and wee shared balcony you can sit out on.

Unfortunately a lot of construction around apartment. Noise fine but security light on all night shining in bedroom with no curtains or blinds to close.

If you are a light sleeper, do not stay here. You can hear everything. People upstairs banging and moving tables and chairs, people in the stairwell is like an amphitheatre, banging and closing of multiple apartment doors all night long and the bar underneath. I personally didn't get to sleep until after 1:30 but that could just be me. The apartment itself is well appointed with everything you could need and the bed is quite comfortable. The main advantage is that you are in the thick of the city with everything close by.

Нет стирального порошка, капсул или геля для стирки. Стиральная машина есть, а средства для стирки нет. Во время проживания велись фасадные работы о которых нас не предупредили, утром было очень шумно!

Location puts you close to everything. Spacious. Clean. Great to have helping staff available just across the street. Great restaurants close by. Good vegan breakfast just around corner if that’s your thing.

Not dislikes, but rather heads up: There are 2 flights of stairs to get to accommodations. If you have trouble with stairs (or very heavy luggage) it could be an issue. Also, we laughed at ourselves when we finally figured it out—very bright light in street just outside windows, BUT you can close the outside shutters at night to block the light. (Americans! We weren’t familiar with opening the window and THEN closing shutters).

A spacious studio central to everything with a good size kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, close to shops, eateries and sightseeing. Clean and well-maintained. Staff let us leave bags before the check-in time. All the gadgets like washing machine, stove top, dishwasher worked well. Fresh coffee and a manual espresso pot.

If you are sensitive to noise, then this area is very busy at night with a diner next door, residents of the building going in and out slamming doors and some maintenance work on the outside of the building. Two out of the three windows of the studio were shut and dark due to scaffolding.

Very noisy at night. Unless you kept the windows open the smell of sewer gas filled the apartment why the apartment was noisy at night early mass. It difficult to open door from street with key. No elevator (lift) to help bring yourself and luggage to apartment.

Es gab sehr viel Platz. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten wirklich genug Stauraum und konnten uns gut aufhalten. Am besten war die Lage mitten in der Stadt.

For anyone looking to explore central Bologna, one of Residenza Ariosto's properties is a good idea. Check in was smooth and the staff remains helpful 24/7. You are 5 minutes to Piazza Magiore and all of the surrounding restaurants. The accommodations are spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and plenty of storage space (and hangers) in the closets. I will most certainly rent here again.

casa perfetta , centrale ben attrezzata , ho soggiornato li come base dovendo fare un operazione chirurgica in una clinica ,la casa era perfetta e soprattutto molto pulita date le mie condizioni di salute l' ho trovata perfetta , la posizione e' super centrale , la cucina funzionale ben accessoriata , inoltre molto semplice prendere cibo d' asporto, biancheria della casa molto pulita e arredi nuovi , un appartamento davvero perfetto , considerato che purtroppo non ero li per una vacanza e' stato come soggiornare in una vera casa con tutti i confort , lo consiglio assolutamente

I was aware of the number of steps to the apartment, however half of the steps are in a spiral fashion which creates another element for a senior with only carryon luggage. They need to cover the key hole which is not in use.

The apartment was very centrally located. Also, very clean, well maintained and furnished. The owner has thought of everything a traveler might need and may have forgotten themselves. The property management staff was extremely friendly and informative about the city. I have definitely bookmarked this as a property for the future!

The one and ONLY thing I could recommend is to add shades to the windows because the alley lights are quite bright at night and the sheers are not enough for adequate darkness.

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado en el centro histórico, puedes movilizarte fácilmente a otras zonas más modernas si es lo que se busca, hay muchas opciones de comida que encuentras caminando, la atención que recibimos en todo momento fue excelente, el apartamento tiene todo lo necesario y más, volveríamos sin dudarlo, nos encantó

En general todo excelente, solo las puertas de ingreso un poco pesadas e incómodas para ingresar con el equipaje, pero definitivamente un lugar muy seguro

In old town of Bologna, with a decent neighborhood trattoria next door. Appt was perfect for our needs.

Everything was great! Communication and check in were helpful and easy; the apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, including the pullout twin bed. It was also nicely decorated. There was really enough room for 3 people in all the common areas. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and make breakfast and coffee every morning. It felt like home! The apartment seems to have air conditioning (we were there in winter, but it can get very hot in Bologna in summer so this might be important for other travelers to know). It was nice to have the extra electric space heater in the bedroom for warming up when we came inside after a cold day/ evening, but it was not needed during the night since the bed quilts were quite warm. The main thermostat was adjustable too. TV and internet worked well. The location was very convenient (and picturesque!), within walking distance of major sites in the city center, and an easy 20 minute walk from the train station for daytrips. Taxi/fare to station and airport were also reasonable since the distance was not too far. There was a notebook with practical and tourist information (recommended sites, restaurants, cafes, etc) and a map of the city which would be helpful for those getting oriented to Bologna. There were also clear instructions for contact during office hours and for emergencies. I felt very safe in the apartment and the surrounding area. I would definitely stay again! I hope I have the opportunity again soon!

Very large apartment. Location is central with everything ( shopping, sightseeing, food) just minutes on foot. The management was very kind and gave us an early check-in. There is a luggage store. The apartment is huge and very clean. It has a proper kitchen with a hob, microwave, and utensils, with good coffee and tea facilities. We found nothing to fault on face value. The bathroom was large and clean and had a washing machine.

We discovered quite late in the evening that the central heating is a bit clunky and the house can be quite cold as the outside temperature was sub-zero. In the bedroom, this was rectified by a functional radiator and a powerful AC. It was very late at night, and we didn't call the management agency. Maybe they would have been able to help out.
