Casa los Cantaros Hotel Boutique

És un hotel bonic, net i cuidat. La nostra habitació tenia dos llits amples i molt còmodes i era molt confortable, amb una finestra i llum natural. La il·luminació de l'habitació també era molt bona. Hi havia molts penjadors, una cadira i espai per deixar les maletes, cosa que vam agrair molt. Vull destacar que és dels pocs hotels on ens vam deixar 3 tovalloles (érem 2 adults i 1 criatura). És quelcom lògic, però en molts hotels només ens deixaven 2 tovalloles, i no ho enteníem (els nens no es dutxen? 😅). Aquí, en canvi, va ser perfecte. Les senyores que netejaven i feien l'esmorzar eren molt simpàtiques i professionals. El personal de la recepció també. Vam veure que hi havia pàrquing, però nosaltres no dúiem cotxe.

Res era negatiu, només tenir en compte que l'hotel està a uns 15' caminant del centre (totalment assequible, a peu pla), i que l'esmorzar no està inclòs, i això va fer que només hi esmorzéssim un dia dels 4 que hi vam estar. Si hagués anat inclòs en el preu, segurament ens hi haguéssim quedat cada dia.

Le stanze sono un po’ spartane e piccole e la posizione non mi è piaciuta, non tanto perché non era super centrale quanto perché per raggiungere il centro a piedi occorre attraversare uno stradone a 4 corsie molto trafficato e senza un attraversamento pedonale adeguato e sicuro

Location- on a busy road with lots of traffic noise. To get to the historic centre one had to cross an extremely busy road. Also I wouldn't call it a boutique hotel , more a bed and breakfast.

Location is excellent, walked to the main tourist areas in 15 minutes and also restaurants nearby. The room is clean and cozy, and a bed was extremely comfortable. As I was traveling alone as my husband could not come with me, staff were very helpful to show me how to get to some local place, Tget were kind, friendly and helpful as well.

Very well kept property, quaint courtyard, rooms are very comfortable and good size. AC, comfortable bed, desk, storage, everything you need for a good stay. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating.

La suite Cristina. Grande, jolie, silencieuse, complète. Le personnel avec mention spéciale à Daniel. La proximité de la gare centrale routière. Le chemin vers le centre. Un hôtel boutique à la fois discret et plein de douceur et de caractère. Bon rapport qualité prix.

L'espace petit déjeuner que du coup nous n'avons pas pris.

Me gusto mucho que es un lugar pequeño, con buena atención, buena limpieza y que tienen varios detalles hacia los huéspedes y la habitación, como por ejemplo un frigobar.

No hay nada que no me gustara como tal, quizás el único detalle que note es que el estacionamiento es reducido en tamaño, lo que dificultaría la entrada a algún vehiculo grande.

The property is lovely, the room had lots of space and the bathroom had great water pressure. It was good to have a separate toilet too. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked well equipped. The staff were really helpful and kind, we were greeted with a shot of Mezcal which was great!

The location was about a 20 minute walk out of the centre and on a busy road, however the walk is easy and taxis are around to get you back at night.

The hotel had a lot of green space and plants betwen the rooms and we enjoyed the overall appearance. It was quite close to the bus station but not directly located in the city center. Yet easy walkable.

We tried the breakfast once, it was ok but not fantastic.

La petite cour intérieure. L' eau potable à disposition. Les matelas confortables. Les rangements dans la chambre. Situé à 5 minutes à pied du terminal de bus. Emplacement très central. Très bonne connexion Wi-Fi. Salle de bain très bien avec de l' eau chaude. Service de ménage journalier. Personnel sympathique.

El desayuno ,hay un espacio sin embargo tienen problema con los cocineros solo 1 vez vi el restaurancito abierto pero muy basico chocolate,huevos y tamales

This was excellent stay for us. Yes, it’s on a very busy road, but the rooms are tucked in a garden courtyard. The location made it easy to explore neighborhoods we hadn’t seen before. We walked toward El Llano park and has an amazing meal at Elefante Cafe.

No hay desayuno los domingos, el restaurante está cerrado y nadie nos avisó. El recepcionista que se queda “de guardia” en la noche es poco servicial e inaccesible. Si llegas tarde en la noche prepárate para esperar a que te habrán, a veces tardan. Avise que mi esposo llegaba más tarde y no le permitieron entrar a la habitación, se quedó horas esperando afuera de la habitación. En general el servicio es pobre, el lugar es acogedor, las recepcionistas del día si son amables.

El lugar está muy bien y repetiría

Muy buen lugar un poquito alejado del centro histórico, pero aún accesible caminando y muy cercano a los barrios de Jalatlaco y Xochimilco. La cocina en el hotel es muy buena, aunque el menú es reducido. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí.

El personal es mucho más que amable, nos dieron consejos e indicaciones que nos sirvieron de mucho, muchas gracias!!

El baño tiene un marco de puerta que tiene una altura de más de 3 metros, pero la puerta de cristal solo tiene al rededor de 2 metros de altura, así que queda un claro de 1 metro sin cerrar. El resultado es el equivalente a tener un baño sin puerta en cuanto a aislamiento acústico. Para algunas personas esta falta de privacidad puede ser importante. A pesar de que hay entre 8 o 10 habitaciones, el estacionamiento, que se dice tiene el hotel, es solo para 3 automóviles. Sin importar que tú hayas reservado y hablado al hotel para decir que llegarás en automóvil, el estacionamiento puede estar ocupado y tendrás que dejarlo en la avenida.

It was clean and the air conditioning was good. Bathroom was very nice. There was plenty of filtered water.

The room was small and noise traveled in easily. Bed not very comfortable. The outdoor space was not made accessible or easy to use by guests. The room did not have any type of outdoor seating.

The property was well located just beyond the historic Centro. The facilities were safe, clean, and felt like a gorgeous little oasis within Oaxaca. Our highlight of the accommodation were the incredible staff. Ever morning we were kindly greeted in the breakfast area where we would have morning coffee. We looked forward to seeing Daniel each day who was always so positive and helpful!

Amazing!!

Casa los cantaros was a great place for my friends and family stay. They went above and beyond to find us a baby playpen and bathtub when i asked if they might have one around. They were always very friendly and great at helping us with whatever we needed. Only negative thing i can say is the water pressure of the shower was not good at all... i had to wait for weird hours to shower when i knew no one else was showering lol

I really enjoyed the ambience, decor, and quaint atmosphere. The whole staff greeted us helped us call a taxi and gave amazing recommendations on what we should prioritize visiting. The hotel is super clean and very neat. My mom is a tough critic when it comes to cleanliness and she said this was amazing. Thank you for an amazing stay that was so comfortable to stay at. Felt like home.

We stayed at Casa los Cantaros for 9 nights on our first visit to Oaxaca City. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offered breakfast in a quiet area in the courtyard. The staff members were all friendly and very helpful. We felt safe and comfortable there. The location was just north of core “downtown” area, but it was within 10-15 minute walk to most of the popular destinations, and 30 minute to the south most area of the central zone. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

We didn’t mind being a little outside of the central area (it was close to a very good Telcel store and one of the best restaurants we tried as well). If you don’t like to walk much, you may find it less convenient.

The hotel was fine but seems that they put me in the last room available. Next to reception and can hear the noises from people through the windows. The receptionist were helpful but at times there was miscommunication between us very few amenities could’ve had bottled water and breakfast was not included

Quiet area. Ok hotel. Lady at reception was very helpful. All receptionist spoke no English, making it difficult to translate and communicate. Property is not close to the main area of interest ti tourist. Especially when you are tired from walking you want to be close to your hotel to relax and refresh before getting out again. Far to go back and forth. 1 Coffee packet for coffee maker was provided in the room. After that you have to pay for next days coffee. Stone Floor was dirty on first day. Other days it felt like you always had dirty feet. Shower had mold and drain right in the center where you stood.
