הרסו לנו את הירח דבש. הגענו אחרי החתונה, אמרו לנו שהמלון כמעט ריק ושנהנה מזה. קיבלנו לאורך כל השהות שירות מתחת לכל ביקורת היחס מהעובדים היה חסר סבלנות ומכוער, כשהזמנו סנדוויץ' לחדר מהשירות חדרים הוא הגיע אחרי יותר משעה, כשהלחם היה קפוא (!) והירקות לא טריים. למחרת הזמנו אוכל מבחוץ, ביקשנו מעובדי המלון שיעלו לנו את המשלוח לחדר, ומהרגע שהמשלוח הגיע למלון לקח יותר מ40 דקות עד שהביאו לנו אותו, וגם זה אחרי שהתקשרנו פעמיים. העובד ששם את המשלוח בדלת החדר קילל אותנו מבעד לדלת. בן זוגי הזמין לנו מסאז' זוגי, ואחרי פחות מרבע שעה התקשר לבטל אחד מהמסאזים ולהשאיר את השני. הוא נענה בבוז שלא ניתן לבטל וכבר חוייבנו על שניהם, וגם אי אפשר לעשות מסאז' אחד ארוך יותר. אם אתם מעוניינים רק בתמונות יפות - זה המלון. קחו בחשבון שתתאכזבו מכל דבר אחר בו.

יחס הצוות. ארוחות בוקר וערב נחמדות, ציפיתי ליותר ממלון שנחשב לרמה גבוהה. חניה, שני לילות חייבו אותי 300 ש״ח חניה, הגענו עם כמה רכבים שיצא ששילמנו מעל 1000 ש״ח חניה.

חניה במחיר מטורף, 300 ש״ח על 2 לילות. ציפיתי ליותר מהמלון הזה.

הגעתי למלון ברמת חמישה כוכבים עם ציפיות גבוהות בהתאם למחיר היקר והשם הבינלאומי, אך חוויתי אכזבה קשה ומפגע בטיחותי שאינו קביל. במהלך המהלך במלון, נחבלתי ברגלי ונפצעתי כתוצאה מסרגל מתכת שהתרומם באופן מסוכן מתוך רצפת הפרקט במעבר. מלבד העובדה שמדובר בזלזול חמור בתחזוקת המקום ובבטיחות האורחים, גם התנהלות הצוות לאחר המקרה הייתה מתחת לכל ביקורת. לאחר שדיווחתי על הפציעה, לקח לצוות המלון כ-15 דקות שלמות רק כדי להביא לי חומר חיטוי בסיסי. למרות המחדל הבטיחותי הברור והעובדה שנפצעתי בשטח המלון, המלון לא לקח אחריות, לא התנצל כראוי ואפילו לא הציע פיצוי כלשהו על החוויה המזעזעת. ממלון ברמה ובטווח המחירים הזה מצפים לתחזוקה ללא דופי ולמענה שירותי מהיר, רגיש ומפצה ברגעי כשל. לא הגיוני שאורחים יפצעו מרצפה תקולה ויקבלו יחס כה אדיש. לא מומלץ בכלל.

הארוח היה מושלם! וכל הסידור והדאגה לארוחות מותאמות עבור ילד אלרגי.

הכל, החל מהרגע הראשון, האווירה, הניקיון, האוכל בארוחת הבוקר ובמסעדה החלבית, אדיבות ומקצועיות הצוות, המיקום, הבריכה והפינוקים שחיכו לנו בלוקרים, הכל!

אהבנו הכל ואין ספק שנמליץ

Everything about the Waldorf Jerusalem is 5 star. First, the property has a fantastic location and the rooms offer many modern amenities with a historic design. The breakfast was great and also offered a separate “kids buffet” which our kids enjoyed. However what truly sets this property apart is the staff. Elza welcomed us with gifts for our kids and the 5 star service continued throughout our stay, both pre and post check out. We hope to return!

המלון עצמו מהמם. החדר והאמבטיה היו מושלמים, מעוצבים לעילא ומשדרים יוקרה אמיתית. התמונות באתר אכן משקפות את היופי והפאר של המבנה עצמו, וההרגשה הפיזית בחדר הייתה מצוינת.בנוסף, האוכל בארוחת הבוקר היה פשוט מצוין – המנות היו טעימות, מיוחדות וניכר שהן ברמה איכותית וגבוהה מאוד.

לצערי, חוויית השירות והיחס היו רחוקים שנות אור ממה שמצופה ממלון 5 כוכבים, ובוודאי מרשת וולדורף אסטוריה. שום מבנה מפואר לא יכול לפצות על זלזול באורחים: הגענו לחגוג 25 שנות נישואים. בקבלה שאלו אותנו על כך במפורש, הבטיחו שהצוות מעודכן ושתחכה לנו הפתעה. בפועל? התעלמות מוחלטת. עדיף לא לשאול ולא להבטיח מאשר לזלזל ככה. המיני-בר בחדר היה מקולקל. כשהודענו על כך בחצות, במקום פשוט להביא לנו שתייה קרה, "הפתרון" ההזוי שלהם היה לנסות להחליף את כל המקרר בחדר באמצע הלילה. הזמנו מקום מראש למסעדת הטרסה במלון לשעה 22:00. כבר ב-22:30 המלצר האיץ בנו בחוצפה להזמין מהר כי "סוגרים את המטבח". למה לאפשר הזמנת שולחן לשעה הזו אם מגרשים את האורחים חצי שעה אחר כך? ארוחת הבוקר הייתה בסימן של בלגן וחוסר ארגון. המתנו 25 דקות לכוס קפה, ובסוף כשביקשנו אותו בטייק-אוויי כי כבר רצינו ללכת, הביאו לנו גם את הכוסות הרגילות וגם את כוסות הקרטון באותו רגע. לקינוח, כשפניתי להנהלת המלון, קיבלתי מכתב "העתק-הדבק" תאגידי, קר ומזלזל.

Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem exceeded every expectation and was one of the highlights of our trip to Israel. The hotel is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and especially welcoming for families. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we appreciated the opportunity to experience the diverse mix of guests who stayed there, many of whom were Orthodox Jewish families, adding to the unique character of our visit. The breakfast buffet was, without question, the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever experienced. The selection, freshness, and quality were exceptional, and every morning felt like a special occasion. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the outstanding service. Yezan at the front desk consistently went above and beyond to assist us with professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality. He is a tremendous asset to the hotel. George, who welcomed us on arrival and helped with our luggage and getting settled, made an equally wonderful first impression. Though impeccably and formally dressed, he was warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. At breakfast, Fuad was exceptional—attentive, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. His warmth made each morning a pleasure. We’ve stayed at another Waldorf Astoria in the past, and while that experience was very good, the exceptional service we received in Jerusalem made this stay even more memorable. The entire team made us feel truly welcome, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. We highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem to anyone visiting the city.

The Waldorf Astoria hotel was our favorite hotel for 6 years! In the past two years something changed. The food is not good as it was, the food is cold and the meat is dry, I thought it was a one time stay occasion but unfortunately this weekend I’ve discovered it is not. We took the room with the garden and it’s almost opened to anyone who passes and anyone can watch your room. The room is beautiful and clean but the TV is old and it’s not a smart TV and you have boring channels. The SPA is nice and clean. Expensive hotel that becomes almost average.

אומנם היה מבחר עצום של אכול בארוחת בוקר אבל כל האוכל מבשול היה בלי טעם כמעט. בנוסף לא הובהר לנו שמלון מאד חרדי ובשבת אי אפשר אפילו לעשות צילומים בלובי.

This is the third Waldorf that I have stayed in (NY, Boca being the other two). Each is the epitome of luxury. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are luxurious, and the beds very comfortable. The hotel lobby is light and airy (the atrium is several floors high with a skylight. Breakfast is served there daily Turn down service happens seamlessly and comes with a straightening of the room. The staff is top notch...top to bottom. The bathrooms are spacious, having two sinks, and a separate shower and tub (see photos). There is a "roof top" restaurant that is open in the evenings (I put "roof top" in quotes since its large terrace on the 4th floor...and the hotel has 9 floors). Breakfast is served in the King Court on the main floor. There is a large buffet....as well as a menu that you can order off of. The hotel is kosher and Shabbat Keys are available after noon on Friday (there is a 1,000 shekel deposit) There is an in-door pool in the spa. Its narrow and shallow but nice for a soak. Be forwarded, guests act like they are pool side in Florida....they “reserve” the pool side chairs with towels...and may or may not ever use them (but, in the process block others from them) One negative is that there is no fridge in the room. Well, there is one but it is stocked with things that they put in there and to touch anything will automatically trigger a charge on your bill. So, if you want to chill some water, keep medications cool, etc, you're out of luck As of July 2026 there is a major construction project going on next door....be forewarned that its noise and disruptive (especially if you are trying to take the short-cut to King David Street).

An absolutely unforgettable stay! Everything exceeded our expectations. The room was perfect, with a spacious and incredibly comfortable bed—it truly felt like sleeping on a cloud. The service was flawless, and the breakfast was exceptional, offering an impressive variety of high-quality food. The hotel is elegant and luxurious, the rooms are spotless, and every detail is carefully maintained. Most importantly, every member of the staff was warm, professional, and attentive. This hotel makes you feel like royalty staying in a magnificent palace. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem because of our attendance at the JNS Conference. Prior to arriving, we had questions and were put in touch with Elza Dandis who is in charge of guest relations. She was very helpful prior to our arrival and once arriving she made us feel very special. She coordinated to find us a tour guide for our free day. The guide was perfect. The Waldorf is a superb hotel and the staff is all very professional and accommodating. My wife and I have traveled the world and stayed at many, many hotels. We can say without any hesitation or reservation that Ms. Dandis and her staff are the best we have ever met. Based on this experience, we will definitely stay at the Waldorf Astoria on our next trip to Jerusalem.

ארוחת הבוקר בשבת היתה פחות אטרקטיבית עבורי(אוהב סוגים מיוחדים של דגים מעושנים בבוקר) אבל אשתי אהבה מאוד.

הכל מלון ברמה הגבוה ביותר שאפשר לקבל שירות ברמה שבחיים לא נתקלתי בו מתקנים ברמה הכי גבוה בארץ פאר ברמה הכי גבוה מיקום חלום אוכל הכי טוב במדינה בפער ציון 10.

the atmosphere and ambiance out of context of a 5-star hotel.

Loved everything about this place..checking in they made me feel welcome and got my bags up to the waiting room..I had dinner a couple times there..the best Thai soup I have ever had..room was nice as a Hilton Diamond they upgraded me..the breakfast was excellent getting coffee slow until I asked the supervisor from assistance. I gave him a tip, thanking him the rest of the vacation. He had an eye on me to make sure got my coffee greeted me with a smile every time the Belman, the same when you return to the hotel the place is absolutely outstanding.

Look - it's a very nice hotel, but I spent the last 2 weeks chasing a tax invoice which they are refusing to give.

Impossible to get a tax invoice - they are saying they won't give one because I booked through booking. Booking are saying (and written on their website) that the property should give an invoice. Now I actually need to involve a lawyer, when it's obvious that it's illegal to not give an invoice. This really sucks because the hotel itself is really nice.

I went for a 5 day business/visiting trip. Staying in the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is such a delight. This front-desk staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Amir and and Alexei and many others whose names I don't remember went out of their way to make sure my stay was wonderful. In fact, they offered to have me move down from the 8th floor to the first floor for Saturday (because I don't use the elevator on my Shabbat) The breakfast staff is awesome- as is the head of the breakfast ( a very nice man whose name escapes me). The room on the 8th floor was newly renovated and gorgeous- the room on the first floor was perfect for my Shabbat stay. Cozy and perfect. I cannot wait to come back to Jerusalem and the WA is a cherry on the top in being in the most wonderful city in the world.

La nourriture était très bas de gamme pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. Tout était fade, aussi bien les salades que les repas. Les gouffres étaient dures.

המיקום היה מצויין. קרוב לאטרקציות חשובות. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה סהכ בסדר. השירות היה מאוד איטי. בבוקר הראשון קיבלנו את הקפה רק בסוף הארוחה. השומר בכניסה לא פותח את הדלת לאורחים אפילו פעם אחת!! רק עומד ושואל בתוקפנות ״לאן זה???״ אפילו ללא חיוך או ברוכים הבאים.

קיבלנו בקבוק יין, אך לא היה פותחן. לקח יותר מחצי שעה עד ששלחו. המזגן בחדר לא עבד. הזמינו טכנאי שאמר שהשקע לא היה מחובר וטיפל בתקלה. המכונת קפה לא עבדה. גם אחרי שהודענו לקבלה, אף אחד לא הגיע לתקן. וכבר עזבנו את החדר.
