Riverside Hanoi Hotel

Located on the outskirts of Hanoi away from the active restaurants and social life. A grab will cost you roughly 100 dong (30-45mins) to get into tourist areas. The place is neat and well maintained. Sauna and Steam are not active. Most guests are non English speaking, and staff appear to have little to no English. Room was good size and comfortable bed.

If you are traveling alone, the price and service are just right.

I have been coming to this hotel some times before and was always very satisfied with the rooms and service, Unfortunately I have discovered this time hotel was noisy in the middle night. Even if your room is not close, you will feel the vibrations and hear the music until very late at night.

호텔 컨디션은 좋았습니다. 옆방에 한국인 단체손님이 새벽에 체크인을 했는데 너무너무너무너무 시끄러워서 잠을 잘 수 가 없었습니다. 체크인 방금 하셨으니 한시간동안 기다렸다가 정중하게 말씀을 드렸는데도 음주에 고성방가.. 아무리 해외여행에 기분이 좋으셨어도 너무 민폐가 아닌지.. 저희층에 외국분들도 투숙하셨는데 너무 창피했습니다. 제발 예의좀 지켜주세요. 호텔에서는 다행히 무료로 방을 옮겨주셨습니다.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was just average nothing special. Bathroom shower leaked Not the best location. Had to take a taxi to old town. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have no other choose.

Malgré la réservation et le paiement d'une chambre catégorie "deluxe", une chambre catégorie " supérieure" (donc de catégorie inférieure à la deluxe) nous a été attribuée et le personnel n'a rien voulu savoir. J'ai donc payé pour 16 nuits une somme bien supérieure à celle que j'aurais dû payer. Il faut aussi savoir que l'hôtel reçoit tous les jours un ou plusieurs cars de touristes coréens qui débarquent tous en même temps dans la salle de restaurant pour le petit déjeuner et qu'à plusieurs reprises nous avons dû retourner dans notre chambre, faute de table disponible. De plus, le buffet n'est pas réapprovisionné au fur et à mesure, donc, même si nous avons pu trouver une table, il est arrivé fréquemment que les plats soient totalement vides et cela pendant une heure...Le personnel du restaurant est d'ailleurs désagréable et je pense que même s'ils le voulaient, ils ne pourraient pas être pires. Le personnel de la réception (ainsi que les grooms) ne parlent pas ou très peu anglais et il est donc difficile de se faire comprendre et donc de demander une aide quelconque. Il n'y a qu'une réceptionniste (mais évidemment pas toujours présente) qui parle correctement anglais et dont il faut guetter la présence si on a besoin de quelque chose. L'hôtel est situé dans une zone très éloignée du centre ville, mais j'avais choisi ce quartier pour des raisons professionnelles et donc je savais ne pas être dans le quartier touristique. La chambre est à peu près propre.

The location is not that great; there is nothing to see or do in the area, barring a small souvenir shop next door, and a small cafe that closes early on the other side of the hotel. Don't expect any spectacular views from this hotel either. The room was fairly clean, although pretty bare boned. The Tv has a few channels in various languages. The free wifi is slow, and the signal was quite weak, despite having a separate router on each floor. You can also hear each time the shower or toilet is flushed by the room above you. The walls are so thin, you can even hear someone blowing their nose. My rain shower required repairing, as it sprayed water all over the ceiling from a loose connection. The bed was fairly comfortable, albeit a little on the firmer side.I noticed some staining on one of my bath towels as well. Staff do speak English, although their understanding is fairly limited. I had an issue with some loud partying floormates, and the staff was unable to deal with my complaint. Buffet spread at breakfast is pretty good. Egg station, small bowls of beef pho are served, along with vermicelli and jellyfish salads. Lots of fresh fruit (dragon fruit, banana, passionfruit and watermelon), and various fruit juices (mixed berry, strawberry guava are some of the standouts). There is a gym, steamroom and sauna. However, it is located on the 12th floor, and the elevator only goes up to the 11th floor. You will have to walk up a flight of unlit stairs. Toiletries included: shampoo, body wash. Amenities: toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, 2 pairs of disposable slippers. 2 free bottles of water included. There is a plug in water kettle in the room.

중심지와 너무 멀었고 아침 조식때는 시장바닥을 방불케함. 현지인들 중심의 호텔이기 때문에 외국인은 정말 먹을것이 없음.

The localization is not so good, and it doesn't have structure to receive a family. The Internet inside the rooms doesn't work. I think is good for business men because they only sleep and go. The breakfast is simple and it doesn't have many options. I think that could be better!!!

Clean and tidy hotel. Outside of the main centre, but close to the business district I was visiting, and given I had meetings in the morning and a long break before the afternoon meetings it was good to be able to go back to the hotel and shower. Breakfast was good, and lunch was passable. The price was very good for the standard of the hotel. Lots of busy restaurants and cafes nearby, but most if not all are packed with local people, with small stools and table, and you just ask for the good and beer!

Pleasant stay, it was a nice and clean hotel. The location could have been better as was a bit away from the main parts of hanoi but otherwise did the job. Staff didn't speak the best English but enough to get by.

The hotel does sit by a river by the view is nothing like the pictures. The hotel itself looks amazing from the outside and is clean and modern in the inside. The staff seem helpful but customer service is lacking. We ordered dinner at the hotel and had it brought up to the room as the restaurant was very hot and had no air conditioning. Staff had to take the order again as they couldn't renown we what we ordered and then had to go back and forth three more times in order to get it right. Language barriers are not an excuse in this situation as the menu was written in Vietnamese and English. The hotel sits on a road that is dirty and looks dangerous in the evening. So we didn't go out after dark. We were here for one night and wouldn't recommend it for any longer than that. Shocking customer service and road works outside the hotel from 1am onwards.

Nearly 7 pm at night there is sound of loud construction in hotel near my room. I called downstairs to ask them to stop it. It continued. Wifi is spotty. Breakfast is weak. I called room service to order a club sandwich. 5 minutes later they called back and said "no club sandwich." Meh. Good clean rooms, pretty modern. Could be much better with professional, quality management.

部屋もきれいでとても良かったですが、朝食がもう少し品数が増えれば最高。 レストランのスタッフが見ていて気分のいいものでは無かった。

部屋は、広いだけでただ、だだぴろい感じ快適さはほぼ無いですね、シャワーの水圧最低(ｰｰ;)チョロチョロしかでないし、配水も悪いし、旧市街に行くのも徒歩では遠い為あまりおすすめ出来ませんね。

주변설비가 좋지 않고, 환경도 좋지 않아서 추천하지 않음.

空港からのタクシーがなかなかたどり着かず、ロケーションに不安があったのだが、レイトチェックインでも笑顔で迎えてくれた。ホテルの部屋も写真通りで期待を裏切らない設備であった。しかし朝食については眺めが良いのだが、冷めたコーヒーや紅茶でスタッフのやる気のなさが目に付いた。今度泊まるときは朝食抜きで予約しようかと思う。

대체로 요금에 비하여 도심 가까운 곳에 위치하고 있으며, 주변이 조용하고 아침 식사도 괜찮은 편임. 특히 객실 청소 상태 등이 깨끗하고 만족스러웠으나, 한 가지 온수가 제대로 나오지 않아 저녁에 목욕을 하지 못한 점이 단점이었음.

The staff were great and friendly. Overall a pleasant stay!

バスタブにお湯を入れてると途中から水になってしまいます。そのためせっかくのジェットバスが使えません。夏はいいかもしれません。 その他の設備やスタッフの方の対応はたいへん満足です。

Very spacious room with a big balcony, great view. The bathroom was massive bathroom, even comes with a jacuzzi. Great food with great service, the hotel really gone out of their way to look after us during our stay. They did as much as they could to be helpful. Highly recommended it.

깔끔하고 조용합니다. 다만 약간 춥고, 샤워시설 물이 약하네요. 따뜻한 물은 잘 나옵니다. 하노이 시내에는 조금 떨어져 있지만 우버 타도 5000원 이내이니 괜찮습니다ㅡ

Clean, compotable hotel for biz trip. I went there with my staffs, everyone satisfied the condition of this hotel. Also hotel staffs are kind enough. Coffee shop on 1st floor(lobby), restaurant on 2nd floor. I recommend to biz trip.

ホームページ等拝見すると費用対効果的に良く見えるホテルですが、実際はかなりギャップがあるなと感じました。 英語はある程度は通じますので意思疎通は大丈夫でしょう。 朝食付いてますが普通レベル、期待はしないほうが良いです。 フォーは毎日違うテイストでまあまあ美味しいです。ただしスタッフは固まって私語するわスマホいじってるはでホスピタリティは望まない方が良いです。 部屋は小綺麗ですがお湯は5分もすると出なくなります。溜めるタイプなので5〜6分程度待つとまた出るようになります。 ジムはスミスマシンとダンベル15kgまで、ランニングマシンとサイクルマシンその他なのでライトウェイトで高レップのトレーニングは出来ます。 サウナが併設されてますが行った時は調整中との事でしたが暫く使ってない感じでしたので無いと思った方が良いです。 場所はハノイ旧市街から結構離れてます。バスだと近くのバス停から14番で30分程度で7,000D、タクシーだと15分程度で80,000Dです。ちなみにノイバイ国際空港から7番バスで8,000D（一時間程度）、タクシーで30分程度で280,000〜300,000Dです。 リバーサイドと謳ってますが実際の“リバー”はヘドロ等による汚水が目立つドブ川みたいな所です。ちなみにコンビニ等は近くに無く、Fivinartが徒歩15分程度の所（7番バス乗り場近く）にあるのでそこか、中心地で買い出しとなります。 相対的に申し上げると中国や東南アジアにあるようなホテルクラスです。 慣れている方には何でもないレベルですが、慣れていない（日本のクオリティが海外でも当たり前と思っている）方にはヒドイと思うかもしれません。。。

출장때 묵은 호텔입니다. 외진 강변에 위치해서 휴식으로는 제격이었지만 외부로 외출할때는 불편함이 약간 있었네요. 친절한 서비스와 청결한 실내에 대체로 만족했습니다.

They were very kind and welcoming. They even gave me a birthday gift! What a surprise that was. The restaurant in the hotel is also very nice. I would like to stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi

The hotel has it all, wifi, breakfast and a gym. It's not too close to Hanoi city but will only cost around $40,000.00 dong to catch a cab. The staff are super friendly and helpful, will definitely stay here again. Btw make sure to check out a little Cafe called Cafe Phizo on the same Street, just turn right after you leave the hotel 2min walk. It serves delicious authentic Hue Vietnamese food and drinks.

Excellent stay

I booked this hotel through expedia. It was far away from central city. Taxi driver couldn't find this location. He doesn't speak engligh. Good thing was I prepare address for him. He had stop to ask local people after circle busy street. I got anxious and lost my Tiffany sunglass when I took suitecase after we arrived hote. They put me on 8t floor. Hallway was dark and hot. Terrible breakfast was in morning. Seems hotel doesn't like turn on air-condition. I spent few minutes to drink coffee. $56/night was I paid to expedia, not worth at all.

For the price just don't booked for 4 nights left after 2 names of street had change no or little hot water no water pressure room class had change not the same as photo but I did see the room in photo ? 24 hour build site under flood lights braking concrete it was just to far from down town fun

I stayed at this hotel as I had a business to do in Kim Ma area, a bit away from downtown Hanoi (old quarter). I found several hotels in Kim Ma area such as Hanoi, Pullman, Daewoo, and more recently Lotte hotels, but they were mostly around or above USD 100, so I was looking for a decent, cheaper hotels in the area, which was not so easy. Danly and Bao Son hotels were also around with < USD 100, but they were below average in many senses. So I found this hotel along the river between Kim Ma area and Cau Giay area. The hotel was conveniently located along the river, so the access to both Kim Ma and Cau Giay areas were really good, so was the access to and from the airport -- away from heavy traffic in the Hanoi downtown. The hotel facilities were quite standard for a mid-level hotel, but everything was new and functional. Free WIFI of course. The room was clean and quite spacious actually. The bed was a bit on the hard side (Vietnamese standard), but comfortable enough. Nothing special but nothing to complain. For business, quite good, I thought. The breakfast buffet had quite a good selection. It seemed this hotel was receiving a lot of group tours (Chinese, Korean, Thai) so expect mixing with many tourists especially in the morning. Food quality was quite good, and I was satisfied. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Actually much better than expected for local hotels in this a bit remote area. I was pleasantly surprised! Overall, if you have business in Kim Ma or Cau Giay and looking for a decent place to stay with decent price, this hotel could be the one. I do not recommend this place for the tourists who are looking for a convenient place to stay for their sight seeing in downtown Hanoi, except for those who do not mind to travel by taxi/car a bit (or rent a bike of your own). For my purpose, I cannot expect more.

thy lyed about my room it was not the room in photo had little hot water and the computers did not work it took to long to get to town it was a scam i left and found a better room in a backers in the old part of town thank god i felt like a prisioner.

excellent young happy staff. you can only have a good clean hotel if the staff is happy and work in a good envirement .this hotel proves it, good management and a great small hotel.

this hotel located between west lake and ho an kiem lake. big room with living room. and clean bathroom. but can't come hot water.

Surrounding is bad, no shopping and no restaurant.

only flaw of the hotel is "location". Except that, every thing is perfect. Don't expect to take a walk nearby the hotel, there is just road and houses... Food are clean, neat and good enough as hotel breakfast. Facilities are very modern and up to date. One of things that I like in South East Asia, you can afford much better hotel rooms than Europe with same price or lower price. this is one of them.

We have just spent 12 nights in the one room apartment. On arrival from the uk the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Someone took my iPhone and got a SIM card within minutes, a welcome drink and constant care and attention. Fresh omelette each morning at breakfast, taxis called whenever required and No trying to sell us tours each day as we had experienced at an old quarter hotel. It is not in a touristy zone which is why we choose it. Sauna and steam room on demand and even a gym. I would recommend to anyone and look forward to our return visit.

We arrived at the airport 2 hours earlier than previously scheduled. After a short phone call, the hotel was able to rearrange picking us up in 15 minutes.....very efficient. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

we booked this hotel for our last night in Hanoi, due to the closer proximity to the airport, since our flight was leaving early in the morning and we did not want to get stuck between the motorcycle traffic of the rush our. The hotel is very new, with nice spacious rooms, modern decor and friendly and helpful staff. However,we discovered that the location is not ideal... approximately a 15 min taxi ride from Hoan Kiem lake, in an area that does not cater for tourists. It's a good option, if you are just looking for a cheap and clean hotel for 1 night only. The breakfast buffet, included in the room rate, did not cater for Western tourist: mainly Asian dishes like noodles, rice, dumplings, soups, etc...

We were looking for a decent priced hotel that had all the creature comforts and this hotel didn't disappoint. The rooms were perfect, beds comfy, toilet/bathroom was nicely put together and free wifi throughout the hotel (very good connection everywhere). I would put this hotel in the same bracket as Preimer Inn, but slightly more up market version. The staff were always more than helpful and even remember us when we had checked out for a couple of days then returned. We didn't have that great a view from our room, but as we were only using the room to sleep (in as we were out an about during the day,) this was not an issue for us. There will no doubt be rooms within the hotel with some great views overlooking the city. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Hotel has good location for businessman like i am ,quite and not so near old quarter and 10 minutes drive to some landmarks.... temple of literature, HO CHI MINH Mausoleum The staff was so good the was kindly arrange many thing for my business trip i were help alot with paper work by reception ,print and fax all free Free wifi with good speed availble everywhere in the hotel with out password to connect some hotel still charge for this I got a room on the 7 floor which was modern and nice design, i feel good when i enter a new room.. My room was facing the main street front side of the hotel but no noise at all,the bed was comfortable and a big TV with plenty of international and local chanels I had a pleasant stay at Riverside Hotel as long as they keep good service and keep room nice their customers will come back to stay aand of couse i will

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wifi connection was sometimes lost on the floor I stayed. Spacious room with an ok bed Nice view over parts of Hanoi from the upper floors. Unfortunately no terrace or hotel garden to sit outside. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner lacked atmosphere.

Location and surrounding neighbourhood is nothing to brag about. But because I am on business trip and staying alone, hence it is ok.

Great hotel and good breakfast service. Only one drawback is that it was away from Old market area and other locations in the city. Our tour bus wouldn't pick us up from this location as it was out of their way. Other than than rooms were clean (but very small) and staff was very helpful.

a 3+ start hotel, very friendly staff n front desk manager, Mr Tung, via Expedia I booked 3 nights as per booking situation at time, I wrote to hotel who booked me in extra night n offer airport pick-up; all very smooth. room very clean, breakfast good, hotel with free sauna steam bath facility, not commonly found on this price range hotel. staff remember guest name, I even received flower n fruits packs on my birthday, very nice surprise.. highly recommended..

The size of the room was not so big, but enough. Equipments are clean and comfirt. Only hot water is running out so often. Hotel is not located in the central area and is located in dark and quiet in the night.
